I know I'm on a fourth installment but I've been reading through old stories/chapters and decided to fix some errors. I'm not saying their all gone, but I hope you can see some improvement. Thank you to those who have stuck with me through so long. And for those who continuously read my stories.

It is twenty minutes till the hour; she hasn't gone out in some time especially not with a man and especially not alone with a Lieutenant from her team. She has decided on a red dress that sits right above her knees and hugs her perfectly executing all her curves. She pins her hair up in curls, wearing simple diamonds from her ears to her hands. She looks at herself in the mirror and although she is pleased she feels a little concerned that she may have chosen the boldest dress from her wardrobe. She walks into her closet and runs her fingers through the dresses and turns to the lines and lines of shoes instead. She chooses a pair and sets them down near the bed. She picks up a bottle of perfume and spritzes a little on herself. Then she comes to sit on the corner of her bed slowly slipping on a shoe when the doorbell rings. She looks up and sees that he is fifteen minutes early. She grins and quickly slips the second heel on. She moves quickly across the room glancing at herself once more in her mirror.

She opens the door and greets him with a smile, "Hello Andy, early I see."

He is looking down straightening his tuxedo jacket. His glance rises slowly like a sunrise, falling along her legs that he admires every time she wears a skirt and unintentionally landing across her breast, then her red plumped lips and finally possibly on the most beautiful eyes he's ever come across. How had he never noticed them before? He takes a second to admire her completely.

"I'll just be a minute or two. Would you like to come in?"

He clears his throat, "Wow...you look great Captain...I mean Sharon." He says mumbling.

She smiles at his behavior as she stands against the door while holding her weight on one leg.

"Thank you, not too bad yourself, Lieutenant." Sharon says softly in a friendly tone; leaving the Captain, his boss far from the conversation. She moves one hand from where it lays on her hip and motions him in with her hand. He approaches the door and stops putting his hand right above hers where she holds the door. She fidgets moving her weight equally on both feet and standing straight. Then just like her he motions her to move ahead of him. A smirk appears replacing the confused look and she does a little nod with her head and moves into her apartment. Andy can't resist and his eyes gather some more details of her as she walks ahead of him; gently closing the door behind him.

He follows her and finds her home to be very different then he expected. He had always imagined her in a cold, straight and clean home. It is completely organized and tidy but it is everything but cold; it would be easy to feel at home in this space. The room is lightly dimmed and represented to be lived in. Plus there is a delicious smell brewing that he imagines comes from the kitchen. She stops a few feet away from him and turns around to face him.

"I just need a minute. Would you like a drink while you wait?" She points towards the kitchen.

"No you go ahead I'll just wait here. After all I was early." He hides his hands in his pockets shrugging.

She heads to her room and picks up a small hand purse and a shawl returning to the mirror and opening her purse pulling out the red lipstick, she does a gentle touch up, returns it back to the purse and walks out of her room turning off the light. She makes her way through the hallway turning off the lights and arrives in the living room to find Andy gone. She hears some noise in the kitchen and finds him pulling something out of the oven.

"Oh, oh the pot roast." She says scrambling towards him and leaving her things on the counter.

He looks up a little startled but smiling at the same time finding the panic sweet. Andy brings the pot to sit on top of the stove and closes the oven softly while setting down the towel he used and then removing the oven mitt from his hand. She reaches for the towel and pulls open the cover. He gets an overwhelming smell of it and watches her as she closes it, turns off the oven and sets it back in.

She finally looks up at him and smiles, looking a little flustered. She sees him leaning against the counter with one hand, smiling intensely at her. She feels a chill run through her body and then giggles at the sight of him. He is wearing her apron covered with pictures of cupcakes. He giggles too and removes it folding it nicely and setting it down on the counter.

"I heard the oven beep, so I decided to see what smelled so delicious, wanted to be careful not to stain my shirt. That would be something my ex-wife would never let me forget."

Sharon shakes her head. "Thanks, I'm glad you were here or else I would have forgotten about it." He watches her fold the towel and apron storing it in a drawer. Andy can't keep his eyes off of her, the way her eyes sparkle.

"So tell me how it is that you have time to make pot roast and look that great when we only made plans three hours ago?" He says with a smile.

She can't help but feel like he's doing more than complimenting her, maybe flirting. But she halts her thoughts, "I wanted to make sure Rusty had something when he came home. He's gone through the leftovers already."

He smiles, remembering that Provenza was taking him out for burgers, "If all your food smells this great, I'd go through all of it too."

"I'm not sure right now is a great moment but anytime you'd like you can join Rusty." She says considering that he may only being polite because she was going to the wedding him tonight.

He smiles, "maybe I will join him. And you." He says putting emphasis on the, you. "Only if that's ok? I'll help cook of course, I know a few tricks of my own." He smirks a little staring at her intensely.

She stares at him and shakes her head clearing her throat, "yes of course, should we go now?" Diverting her eyes from him.

He gestures with his hands as they did when they first entered the apartment. She smiles and turns around picking up her purse and turning off the lights as she goes. Andy reaches the door before her as she deviates to a light switch.

They ceremony is beautiful, Andy stays calm having Sharon by his side. They arrive at the reception finding their seat quickly. Dinner is served, eaten in a comfortable silence and family and friends give their toast to the bride and groom. It is finally time for the father daughter dance and her step father dances first then Flynn does. Sharon can see that Nicole is very happy to have her father there, making her smile. The evening continues as the guests make their way to the dance floor.

Sharon and Andy sit having small talk and giggling about the guest getting too drunk and stumbling on the dance floor. Sharon was on her second glass of wine when Andy stands up and extends his hand out to her.

Sharon looks at his hand and smiles, he returns it with one of his famous flirty grins. She reaches out and holds his hand and stands up. They both feel a heat run through them but neither say anything. They walk together towards the dance floor; neither one making an attempt to release each other's hand.
