Secret couple's here! It's really more of a drabble than a oneshot, but the couple is... Roy/Shanna. Here you go.

Understanding

She had no idea why that story always moved him to tears.

Their daughter had always loved that story. It told of an Ice Dragon who had helped the people of Ilia live in the cold weather, before the Scouring. She had loved the story when Yuno told it to her when she was a child, but it had never made her that emotional.

When she pressed him on the issue, his only response was: "Time will show you, eventually."

And that it did, because when she was an old woman, he still looked as young as ever, staring at her while saying "Now you understand?"

Slowly, she nodded. "Yes, now I understand."
