Dirty Little Secret

AN: Oh my goodness! This is the LAST chapter for DLS! Warning: Got a bunch of GaLe in this chapter! I'm so excited to write the sequel! That 's where shit gets real ;) I'm so sorry for killing Juvia in the last chapter! But If I didn't, the story wouldn't make sense! D:

Lexy: Nothing you write makes any sense..

Lexy: Eh, not really! The last time I was there, it wasn't even a guild!

Chapter 13 "Girl in the Woods"

Drip.. Drip..Drop..

The rain poured down slowly on this gloomy day. The funeral of Juvia Lockser. Everybody in the guild was there, all dressed in black. The usually happy go lucky guild is in grieve for the lost of their water mage. But there is some people who take it harder than the rest. One of those people, are Natsu Dragneel.

He stood next to her grave carrying a black umbrella. His face was expressionless. He didn't look sad, but he didn't look happy either. His face was blank. His eyes didn't have any emotions in them. It was as if he was wearing a mask. The others around him sobbed and sniffled while he just stood there, looking like a statue in the rain.

Gajeel wiped his tears and he buried his face in his hands. Gray felt like screaming, he wanted to scream. Cana is unusually sober today. She kneeled down next to her grave, crying like there's no tomorrow. Everyone couldn't believe it. They didn't want to believe. They just wanted to wake up from this endless nightmare and see the smile on her face again.

They all said a few kind words about Juvia. Saying that she was crazy! But in a good way. Juvia brought smiles and joy to the guild. But after she left, nothing felt the same anymore. They can never be the same ever again.

5 years later..

Natsu rarely stays at the guild anymore. He took jobs everyday and only sat in the guild for a day before leaving again. Even when he's not taking jobs, he disappears to god knows where until he comes back to the guild a week after. Everyone suspects that he probably spends his days next to Juvia's grave, waiting to wake up from this nightmare.

Gajeel took a while to recover from Juvia's death. But he did. He finally realized that she wouldn't want this. Juvia wouldn't want 'Gajeel-kun' to feel sad. She would want him to at least pretend to be happy. Because if he didn't, Levy wouldn't be.

Gray takes missions everyday and never comes to the guild. He goes to missions and only return to take more missions. He wanted to keep himself distracted. So he wouldn't have to remember about that day ever again.

Present time,

Gajeel sat at the bar with Pantherlily and Levy with him. Levy's hair started to grow a bit longer than before but she still wears her bandana of course. Levy and Gajeel started dating 2 years ago and he's even considering to propose!

Gajeel sat munching on iron while Levy read a book. Lily just sat in between eating kiwis. "Hey Gajeel! We should go on a mission!" Levy stopped reading her book and pokes Gajeel's cheeks. "Mmphh.. okay.. sure.. whatever." Levy puffs out her cheeks and walks over to the job board. She smiles and snatches one off the board. She walks back to the bar and waves the flyer at Gajeel's face, "Gajeel! Gajeel! This mission is perfect! It's easy but the pay is good! Can we? Ooh! We can bring Jet and Droy too!"

Jet and Droy spits out their drinks and cries tears of happiness. "Really, Levy? We can go too? Yay! Yippee!" The Levy fanclub hops around in joy much to Gajeel's displeasure. "Fine! We can go! But those two dimwits are not coming with us." Jet and Droy stops jumping and starts sulking in the corner. Levy smiles and claps her hands in excitement, "Yay! I'll go pack my bags and we'll go straight away!"

"Yeah whatever, shrimp." He continues back to his eating. Suddenly, Gajeel got hit in the head with a table, "Oi! Who threw that?!" After that, chaos happened. Mirajane giggles as she wipes some glasses at the bar.

Lisanna smiles and glances to her older sister, "It's been awhile since they've been this happy right, Nee-san?" Mirajane smiles back and nods, "Mmhmm! They've never been themselves since.." Mirajane's smile fades away and she stares at her feet, ".. never mind.." She places the glass down and serves some drinks to the guild.

Lisanna turns away and sighs, "I miss you, Juvia." Levy arrives at the guild carrying two suitcases. She smiles and runs straight to Gajeel, "Oi! Gajeel, come on! I thought we were taking a mission! Stop fooling around, Gajeel!" Gajeel stops punching Elfman and looks at the petite bluenette, "Yeah! Whatever! Oi! Demon Girl! Me, Pantherlily and the shrimp is going on a mission, mmkay?!" He plops Levy on his shoulder and grabs Pantherlily by the tail.

Levy tries to wiggle out of his grip but fails to do so, "Hey! Gajeel! Let me go right now! Gajeel! Hmmph!" Finally giving up, she puffs out her cheeks and Gajeel couldn't help but laugh, "Gihihi! Calm down. I'm doin' this so you ain't gonna get lost! You're tiny and it's hard lookin' fer' tiny people. Gihi!" Levy once again puffs out her cheeks and bonks Gajeel in the head, "Mean!" Lily just rolls his eyes in annoyance.

After that, they arrived at the train station and hops on a train. Gajeel spends the whole train ride barfing and whining about trains. Levy crosses her arms and scoffs, "Oh man up, Gajeel! Wait.. I just sounded like Elfman.." She shrugs it off and pulls out a book from her bag. Lily just slept the whole time.

Once they arrived in the town. They went straight and checked in a hotel. They didn't waste any time and just left to the client's house. The client was an old woman complaining about some wolves in the nearby forest. The forest was located near a tall hill and was not so far from the old woman's house. Levy nods to the old woman and so, the three of them went to defeat the wolves.

The walk there was peaceful and quiet. "Hey, Gajeel! Do you think anyone lives around here?" Levy looks around the forest while carrying Pantherlily in her small arms. Gajeel shrugs and scoffs, "Dunno, and honestly.. I don't give a crap!" Levy rolls her eyes and sees a group of wolves running somewhere. And there, she heard a high pitched scream. "Gajeel! I think I heard a girl scream! Come on, we've got to help her." Gajeel nods.

They ran as fast as they could to track where the noise is coming from. There, they saw a little girl with chest length wavy pink hair and deep blue eyes crying in fear. Her knees are covered in bruises and her arms are scratched all over. Her white sundress was covered in dirt and it was all torned up. She was carrying a rag doll with her and she clutched on it like it was her only hope.

The girl backed away slowly and shivered in fear. Tears stream down her eyes and she opens her mouth to scream, "Papa! Mama! Save me!" She fell backwards and twisted her ankle. The wolves come closer and close—

"Solid Script: Fire!"

The wolves got burned and backed away from the little pinkette. "Iron Dragon's Roar!" The wolves got thrown off and scarred while the little pink haired girl shiver in fright. Levy kneels down beside her and tries to calm her down, "Ssh.. it's okay. You're alright now. We defeated those wolves. My name's Levy. The person over there is my boyfriend, Gajeel. And that's Pantherlily! What's your name?"

The little girl seems to calm down but shakes her head slightly, "Mama told me not to talk to strangers!" Levy smiles at the little girl, "But I'm not a stranger. I already told you our names, right?" The little girl's mouth turned into an 'o' shape and nods, "I guess so.. my name's Rosabella but mama and papa usually calls me Rosa. I'm three!"

Levy giggles and helps Rosa get up, "So, what are you doing in the woods?" "I was picking some berries for mama but then I saw those wolves." Levy nods and asks Gajeel to carry the little girl. "Listen, you're hurt. We need to get you back to your house. Where is it?" Rosa tilts her head, "Uh.. I .. don't know.." Levy's jaw drops, "Oh.. umm.. I guess we can take you back to the guild then."

"Ye' sure that's a good idea, shrimp? Er' parents will be worried if they find out." Gajeel and Levy walks through the forest heading to the hotel, "There's nothing else we can do. She should just stay with us till' tomorrow and then we can bring her to the guild. Then, we can figure something out."

The Next Day,

They arrived at the guild and Rosabella claps in joy and excitement, "Did you know that my papa is a wizard too?" Levy smiles to the little girl, "Oh really?" Rosabella nods and walks over to the huge doors, "Whoa! So big!" Levy giggles at the little girl, "Yes, it is!" Rosabella opens the handle and then—

A table comes flying towards them. Luckily, Gajeel manages to pull Rosa away. "Oi! Watch it!" Gajeel yells at the reckless mages. Rosa peeks in from the side seeing everyone inside. Suddenly her eyes focus on a pink haired dragon slayer.

She approaches the guild and everyone seemed in shock.

"Who is she?"

"You guys adopted a kid?"

"So adorable!"

Rosa tilts her head and blinks,

"Papa?"

And so, everyone froze and looks at Natsu. Natsu smiles and picks the girl up, "Hey, princess! Whatcha doin' here? Does mama know you're here?" Rosa shooks her head and points to a scar on her legs, "Oh. Did you get hurt? Poor thing!" Everyone stares at Natsu and their jaws drops flat to the floor,
