Blaaah so short. But I sort of wanted to end the chapter like this (yeah, in that horribly cliché way.) Please leave a review!

"I'm not doing this." Michael said, before plopping down on the grass.

Will stomped his foot. "You have to!"

"Says who?"

"Says Lee, who's going to take away several of our privileges if we don't!" Will leaned down and caught the front of Michael's t-shirt. "And let me tell you, Bro. Girls don't like guys who don't shower." He whispered dangerously.

Lee, the ever-suffering counsellor, had assigned Will and Michael to find Kayla's teddy bear. As far as Will could figure, it was half to satisfy Kayla, and half in hopes of making them get along. Well, at least Kayla would be happy.

Michael glared down the length of his nose. "I couldn't care less about what May or Lily or…or whoever it is this week thinks about - "

Will's eyes narrowed. "Some lines are not meant to be crossed."

"Oh yeah? Well then who is it?"

"Katrina from Hermes if you must know. " Will said in a smug tone. "

"What's her last name? "

"Uh…" Will growled and pushed him away.

"Loser!"

"If you're done being immature - "

"Me? I'm not the one who can't keep his girls straight."

"Just shut up, Michael."

"No thanks, you first."

Will took a deep breath. Think of Katie. Katie…something with an 'N'. "We are going to ask Kayla where she saw the damn bear last."

"Whatever."

They found Kayla sitting on her bed with her back to them. She was scribbling furiously in her sketchbook. Her little pigtails bobbed animatedly with each stroke of the pencil. Will raised his hand to tap her on the shoulder, and caught sight of what she was drawing.

She had illustrated, in vivid detail and heavy shading, a teddy bear (THE teddy bear ) tied to a chair. A stick man holding what looked like a knife was next to it. A little further down the page, the same stick man was lying in a pool of…oh gods, that was a terrifying shade of red.

As they watched, Kayla viciously stabbed down with a pink crayon in the fashion of someone squashing an annoying bug. Will nervously cleared his throat. His little sister turned, and smiled an absolutely innocent smile.

"Hi, Will!"

"Uh…hey. W-what exactly are you drawing?"

"The death of the kidnapper." She frowned. "I still need to work on a few details."

"Yeeah, about that. You sure the bear was 'kidnapped'?"

"Uh, yeah. Unless of course he magically got up an walked off my bed." The sarcasm was strong with this one.

Michael snorted. Will shot him a warning look.

He tried again. "Ok, where did you see him last?"

Kayla bit her lip. "Um…right here. Last night, before I went to bed."

"So…poof by the morning?"

"Unless he-"

"Okay, okay. Poof by the morning." Will interjected hurriedly.

"Now what, Mister Detective?" Michael asked mockingly. "Shall I get the magnify glass so you can search for clues?"

"You WOULD be Watson…" Will mused.

"Hey!"

Will dipped down to check under the bed. Nothing, save for a couple of spiders. He briefly thought about catching them and selling them to Travis and Connor Stoll to use on the Athena cabin. Maybe later.

"Hey, what's that?" Michael asked, crouching next to Will. He was pointing at something near the leg of the bed.

Will looked. A...hamburger charm?

It was the kind of thing you'd describe as cute. A little doodle-styled burger in pastel colours, with the word 'ham!' written below it in a cutesy pink font. One thing was for sure. It didn't belong to the Apollo cabin. They were all sworn off beef, their dad having sacred cows and all.

The implications were monumental. Someone had been here. Someone unauthorised.

"You realise what we have to do." Michael said.

"Yeah," Will conceded gravely, "It's time to meet the Stolls."
