So this is most likely the last chapter. Sorry for the late update. There's been school and I've been sick. So hope you like it.

To say Rumpelstiltskin was not happy was an understatement. He was lived. All of his careful planning for 100 years was about to be ruined, but the one and only pupil he had.

"Cora get your ass out here." He yelled

Hearing her name Cora took a deep breathe.

Feeling her hand being squeezed her turned her head and smiled at Eva. If someone told her 50 years ago that she would have her heart back, have her love back, and overall have a family she would have laughed in your face.

"Do you think we can do this?"

"What, trust our granddaughter to not get us killed?" Eva laughed.

Cora nodded.

Turning her head to look at Cora Eva grabbed both her hands and smiled. "I think she loves Regina too much to risk her life like this."

Cora smiled and pecked Eva's lips. "You're right about that."

Turning to face the door Cora took a breath. "Alright, let's do this."

"Come on out dearie." Rumpelstiltskin mocked.

Right at that moment the doors opened and out walked Cora in all her glory. Striding up to the barrier Cora glared at her teacher.

"What can I do for you?" Cora asked calmly.

"You know what I want." Rumpelstiltskin said seething.

"Now how am I supposed to know what you want. All you have been doing is yelling at me the whole time."

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH HIM?" Rumpelstiltskin was losing his patience. He didn't have time to word spar any longer. He needed James now and he's the only one who knew why.

"What have I done with whom?" Cora forgot how the Dark One could be and only hoped that Emma knew what she was doing.

"You know who I'm talking about; the man from the cave. I know you took him from me. You're the only one alive who knows anything about me. You're the only one capable of doing it."

"Oh really, if what you say is true and I didn't take a prisoner of yours then I must be rather good to pull it off. However, I did no such thing. As you know, as my teacher, what I am capable of and even I can't break on of your holding spells. As a matter of fact I'm surprised you can't even break this barrier. Really Rumpel, I think you're losing your touch."

Rumpelstiltskin glared and shot his hands outwards releasing black smoke with white lightning bolts from his hands and aiming for Cora's heart.

Seeing the predictability of the attack Cora simply side stepped of the attack.

"Is that all you got? Really I expected more from you." Cora went back to taunting the poor little man.

"How did you do it Cora? You disappear for almost three decades and then you suddenly show up even more powerful than before. Besides even if you are in fact more powerful you have no hope of defeating me."

"Oh poor poor cowardly Rumpelstiltskin; you are so naive. I have simply been gathering information."

"Information on what dearie?"

Cora cackled. "My granddaughter."

"And who might that be?" Rumpelstiltskin for once in his like as the Dark One was truly puzzled.

"Oh I think I'll have you figure that out. After all, knowledge is power after all." Cora laughed.

Rumpelstiltskin did not like being mocked. He was the one that always had the power.

Eva, James, Snow, and Regina were watching Cora taunt Rumpelstiltskin and were getting worried. They hoped that she wouldn't do anything stupid. Emma, on the other hand, loved the show.

Emma was seeing how irritated the imp was getting and decided to have a fun herself.

"Cora I'm going to go behind him and zap him."

"What, why?"

"I don't know. I want to see how he'll react."

"Emma just don't get any of us killed."

"Don't worry I won't."

Emma made her way being Rumpelstiltskin and was waiting for the perfect moment to start her own taunting.

Rumpelstiltskin was not happy. He did not spend the last thirty years planning to be provoked now, not when he was so close to ultimate world domination.

"Cora has no clue who she is dealing with." Rumpelstiltskin thought to himself.

Emma saw Rumpelstiltskin's hands building an ice ball being his back and thought this was the perfect moment to have some fun.

With a flick of his wrist she moved the ice ball so it floated and hit him on the head.

"Ah what was that?" Rumpelstiltskin asked.

Cora laughed, "Having trouble controlling your own magic Dark One?"

Rumpelstiltskin growled. He was getting tired of this bullshit. Having is anger get the best of him he started running towards Cora, but before he moved even two feet he tripped.

Emma started laughing even harder and Rumpelstiltskin's frustration.

Rumpelstiltskin slowly got up. He couldn't understand what was happening. He looked around, but all he saw was Cora laughing. Then he heard more and more people laughing.

"What the hell is going on?" Rumpelstiltskin commanded.

At Rumpelstiltskin's question all the laughter died instantly.

"You want to know what's going on?" Cora's face turned hard. After all of these years she was finally able to do what she longed to do, but couldn't because without her heart she didn't really know that Rumpelstiltskin had been manipulating her all along.

"It's called retribution. You are going to feel the rather of my family and there is nothing that you can do about it."

Rumpelstiltskin giggled. "Your family? You are alone Cora. You have no family."

Cora grinned. "You remember my granddaughter that I was talking about?"

Right at that moment Emma appeared next to Cora.

Rumpelstiltskin's face instantly fell. "How…but…wh"

"Oh he can stutter, how adorable?" Emma mocked.

"You see imp Emma has been here the whole time."

"How is that even possible? I would have sensed it."

"Apparently, fate didn't want you to." Emma deadpanned.

Rumpelstiltskin was utterly confused. For a few minutes he just stood there looking at the two women and thought.

"You would think he would want to run away knowing I'm here." Emma said to Cora.

"Well either he is too pigheaded to realize that all of his careful planning is not going to happen or he believes that he is unstoppable."

"So how should we do this? I mean he still doesn't know about the extra four people. I suggest we pare off, each significant other with each other, and then we hit him from all side."

"Alright I'll trust you with this."

Emma smiled and told everyone else the plan.

Eva and Cora facing Rumpelstiltskin, Snow and James on his left, Emma and Regina on his right leaving is back facing the barrier that he can longer leave.

"Are you ready to die dearie?" Rumpelstiltskin said looking at Cora.

"I'm not sure. Are you?"

Rumpelstiltskin cackled. At that moment he tried to poof away but Emma shot her hands forward and encased in another barrier rendering him unable to poof.

"Oh poor poor Rumpelstiltskin. You have been rendered helpless." Cora taunted.

All of a sudden Snow and James flashed all that this man took from them-the chance to raise their daughter; to be a family. He took it all away from them. Without thinking Snow shot her hands forward and white lightning bolts shot out of her hands shocking Rumpelstiltskin.

"Ahhhhh" he shouted, "what was that?"

"That would be retribution." Snow said.

Knowing it wasn't Cora or Emma's voice Rumpelstiltskin looked around to see if he saw anyone else. Of course he didn't and that only made all six of them laughing at him.

"What's the matter Dark One? You seem a little unsure about something." Cora taunted again.

"I'll make you a deal. I'll let you live and all you have to do is give up your magic." Emma offered.

Rumpelstiltskin laughed. "That is impossible without killing me."

"Are you sure about that? What if I told you that I can take your magic away and not kill you?"

"Then I say you're insane."

Emma smirked. "Have it your way."

Before anyone knew what happened next Rumpelstiltskin was on the ground unconscious.

With a simple wave of her hand Emma took back the power she gave her family and used it to cancel out the Dark One's power. No one is sure how it worked, but it did. And with a final adjustment Emma also took away Rumpelstiltskin knowledge of magic and took away his memory of when he was the Dark One. But to be nice, and knowing he is no longer a threat, she made Bealfire appear as his younger self so Rumpelstiltskin could finally get his second chance. Plus she made Rumpelstiltskin less of a coward so he wouldn't do anything stupid ever again.

With another wave Rumpelstiltskin and his son disappeared back to a modest living.

Later that night

Cora had agreed to stay with Eva when she found out that Eva moved bed Chambers after Leopold died. They both agreed that it was better to not think about the past and only think about the future.

They were cuddling on the bed with Eva's head on Cora's chest when Eva broke the silence.

"How does it feel to have your heart back and no magic?"

"Freeing actually. Magic was my escape after I lost you and know it's like we're back to where we are supposed to be."

Eva smiled and leaned up to kiss her love.

Snow and James ran up the stairs after the battle. It wasn't so much a battle as it was a parent punishing their child, but they didn't care. They haven't seen each other for so long that they were going to get reunited all night long.

Emma and Regina were in the gardens looking up at the sky and just holding each other.

"Well today has certainly been interesting." Regina said.

"A lot happened and know everyone can be free and not worry about any other Dark One living."

"True, but I was talking about how you gave everyone their happy ending."

Emma smiled shyly. "It's funny; I never thought I would ever have a family after James died. Yet, here I am."

Regina kissed Emma's forehead. "So what now?"

"Yell I suspect Eva and Cora would want to get married. James and Snow will through a big party saying they're together again. And us…I see us getting married raising children and growing old together."

Regina smiled. "Is that a proposal?"

"No, it's a promise. One day I will propose to you and we will have children and we will grow old together."

Regina turned her head to Emma and kissed her hard. "I suggest you start making a baby now."

Emma smirked and poofed them to their room where they in fact did make children.
