Proposal, and Octavian's final stand

Annabeth's POV

I was happy that Percy came back home, Celeste and I were thrilled, but there was a difference in him, the way he is dressed in those robes, and soon he told me that his family are part of some assassins cult that has experience with the gods, he told me that he missed me and Celeste, I was worried that he is a changed man but he told me that he is the same man he still was, now I have been put in it, and part of that reason is that I gave birth to Celeste and she is automatically called as an assassin, and the weirdest part to is that our friends from the quest of Greece chose to join us as well. After that time he and Celeste played for a few hours each passing day, every time I see those two I realize how a good father he is going to be, and I hope that he will become a good husband but that will have to wait but that opportunity has come on a prep day. I was in my Office studying Percy's blade bracer, it seems very extraordinary to me, how can you conceal a dagger and use it like a switch blade on your arm? As I was studying the bracer Percy came in with a nervous smile on his face, I can tell that he is hiding something, but what? I couldn't help but smile at him, he has been home for a few days now and he has gotten to the old days when we were dating, always kissing me, and always close to me, and every time he did that Celeste will be grossed out by it, I just hope that Percy wouldn't go advanced on me again, cause the last time that happened we got Celeste, but at leased he's home safe and sound, but as I turned to him he start to ask me something.

"What are you doing with my blade and bracer?"

"(hesitating) Oh... I uh ahem... I was uh... I was just um studying it!"

"Oh I see, but why sweetheart?"

"I'm just trying to find out how to use it, you know like a switch blade."

"Have you tried using your laptop?"

"What?"

"You know you Daedalus laptop?"

"Oh oh yeah right I forgot!"

"You're suppose to be wisegirl, what happened to you?"

"It's just that after you came home I got carried away."

"I see."

"you know after you came home you start to play with Celeste again."

"I know... In fact I just want to be a good father to her when she grows up to become a good legacy."

"I know, I really want you to a good husband as you are a good father."

"We're not married yet!"

"I know."

"Speaking of which, there is something that I have got to ask you."

"Any thing."

Now he's doing something that I am not expecting, he start to kneel down and I was watching him with a confused look and thinking 'what the Hades are you doing right now?!', then he pulled out a small velvet box and he opened it and in it was a diamond ring, I couldn't start thinking and out anything, and I was awestruck by it, I couldn't say a single word and I start to believe what he is doing, he is proposing to me!

"Annabeth, we have been together for many year, all I want to ask is, will you marry me?"

I wanted to say 'are you nut's?! we are still in college, and you are asking me this?!' but I couldn't, the diamond is convincing and influencing me to say something else, and after he asked me the question I immediately said my answer.

"Yes Seaweedbrain, I will."

I immediately wrap my arms around him and we started kissing each other passionately, my mind went into a combustion like it literally exploded, now that we are fiances we will be married, but there is problem that we have to face, we must get Octavian and put an end to this war, it is the only way for us to get this over and done.

Grover's POV

Percy and Annabeth have asked me to come to their house and watch over Celeste, they told me that they are going on a infiltration mission to kill Octavian, their friends from the quest of Hera are coming as well. I have heard of Percy being a part of an assassins creed and I was surprised about that, but the prophecy said that he will find his bloodline and he did. I came to his house and he was sitting on the porch waiting, he is in his assassin robe like he is ready to spy on some one and kill him, when I came up we greeted each other, and I was happy that he has comeback with an advantage that we can use.

"Grover, it is good to see you G-man!"

"It's good to see you too Percy!"

"You're here to watch over Celeste?"

"That I am."

"Good!"

"And what are you gonna do?"

"I'm going to give Octavian the shock of his life."

"Good, cause he has put the Legion to a shame full mater for what he has done."

"Yes and he will pay for capturing me."

"That he will."

"So how are things going between you and Juniper?"

"Going great, in fact she gave birth to twins when you were gone."

"That's great Grover!"

"I know, thank you! and I heard that you proposed on Annabeth, is that right?!"

"That is right Grover."

"Wow man congratulations"

we continued to talk and Annabeth came out with a similar robe that Percy has on, Celeste was clutching on her mother as she was carried by Annabeth, Percy and Annabeth told Celeste that they will come back home, and that they want to keep her safe at home. after the goodbyes they start to leave and Celeste and I got into the house, and as we got in Celeste started to ask questions.

"Uncle Grover!"

"Yes Celeste?"

"What are mommy and daddy gone now?"

"Because they are going to put an end to this war."

"Why?"

"To bring peace Celeste, cause peace is a beautiful thing."

Percy's POV

We hoped into one of the vans that we use to transport our strawberries to markets, we are in a total number of two dozen warrior in our van, about twelve of us are assassins trained in camp, counting me, my fiance Annabeth, and our friends Jason, Pipper, Frank, Hazel, and Leo, the other twelve are legionaries of the legion, we were armed with the weapons that we have chosen for this operation, and they were mostly made of steel, these were given to us by the assassins creed, I was given Greek sword that is a steel copy of riptide, (but I still have it in my pocket) Annabeth and Piper were given a dagger and she is really trained with these things, Jason was given a steel Gladius, Leo took a poleaxe from the assassins, he find it an excellent weapon but he still prefer to use his fire abilities, Hazel took a steel bladed Spatha, and it was on her back, and Frank has kept his bow and and steel Gladius with him, the five new legion assassins were armed with bows, two have swords, one has an ax, and two more have maces, and the legionaries were armed with gladius each, the scutum (the curved heavy shield of the legionary) and they were wearing Roman helmets and armor, and our armor are assassins armor, a basic breast plate of metal, greaves, and shoulder plates. while we are driving Annabeth has set up a map of Philadelphia, and the city hall, where the mayor is, the Templar's are planing to get him join em and to make maters worse, Octavian is there and he is going to get more men for them, and he is going to try to get another siege on camp Olympian, and we can't have that, so Annabeth start to set out our tactics.

"Ok every one, listen to this, there are buildings around the city hall here, here, and here, and the Templar's could have marks men on them, and on the open ground there will be guards around the place, and the will be on the watch, and plus on the day we are going to strike there will be a crowed."

"Annabeth I will advance to Octavian, he may have guards with him though."

"Why do you want to do that?"

"So we could get him to think that I am going to be a dead man."

"Then I'll go with you."

"Alright sweetheart but don't get to comfortable."

"No promises... Ok now Frank, you take our assassins to the roof tops, take out every marksmen you see."

"And cover you guys while you are advancing?"

"That's right, Piper, Jason, Leo, Hazel, the rest of you will take the legionaries, wait till it is time for foot combat, and Frank we want you to join us to."

"Alright we will."

Our plans are set up and ready for the show to begin, and we will get Octavian a nasty surprise, he will never know what will hit him. On the very day of our assault we are at our posts ready for our fight, we waited long enough for Octavian to come, there was a large crowed in the open, perfect for a stealthy movement and a crowed is always a good place to be hidden if you mingle with them close enough. Now it's the time for us to get our assault ready, and in a moments notice a limo came in, I looked more closely and there is a familiar face, Octavian has arrived. Annabeth and I were in an alley waiting for our cue, and when Annabeth saw this she got a little worried and uncertain.

"Perce."

"What is it sweetheart?"

"I have never killed a mortal before."

"I know."

"Have you?"

"A few times."

"How does it feel like?"

"I don't know."

"What do you mean?"

"Well my first kill of mortals was that I was under attacked by them during my quest to search through my ancestry, they came by surprise and I suddenly went into the fight and I suddenly got a unorthodox style, dodging and taking my opponents weapons and kill em with it, and if they try to attack me from the back I immediately kill him like I knew he was there, I could have kill them all but I didn't and I got captured."

"What happened?"

"Uh... I really don't remember, I took a hit in the head and woke up bounded and with a bag over my head later on."

"I see."

"But lets get moving Annabeth, time for us to advance."

We put our hoods on and we start to advance on them, as we came out of the alley we would have been targets for the Templar snipers, but we were smart enough to put Frank up on the roof tops and eliminate that threat, but as we came to the crowd two guards were there, and as they notice us the immediately charged to us, but they soon fell as two arrow shafts pierced them, and now we went through the crowed, we are easily hidden from any eyes, we came to the closest part of the limo but we're still in the crowed, as the limo came up, the chauffeur opened the door and every one start to take pictures, Octavian was the first to get out, then the major came out, the reporters are coming to them but we came out first, as the Templar's saw us Annabeth and I threw a throwing dagger at two of the guards and six others start to surround us and point their weapons at us, and as Octavian notice us he set up a smile and walked to us with arms extended.

"Perseus Jackson, Annabeth chase, I never thought that you will come here assassins!"

"Octavian you know these two?"

"Of coarse I know them, and their kind were giving us trouble over the past few days... kill these two."

As they were about pull their triggers Annabeth gave a nod over to Franks position, and in a split second the arrows pierced the men who were about to kill us, and as that happened they drop to the ground, when Octavian saw that he send in two men and they charged at us but we were ready, as they came in we drew our weapons and we slash at them and they dropped before they took a touch on us, but as that happened Octavian called for some men and they out numbered us by forty more men, and they were armed with medieval weapons, and then Octavian put his jacket of and out comes something I did not expect, he was wearing a black and red tunic with a white Templar cross and he drew a medieval knights sword, it's longer than mine, and its a little skinnier than mine, but then the others came up with weapons in hand, the Legionaries came up at the front in a disciplined line, then the Templar's charged at us and they smashed to us and the fight began, the Legionaries were doing their best to hold them then, I jumped over the line, followed by the other assassins and we clashed, many of the Templar's died and then there was Octavian as the last man, I came up to him and he tried to have a cut on me, but I dodged and disarmed him, I tripped him raised my right arm, switched out hidden blade and stabbed him, he must confess before he dies.

"Why did you do this?"

"(dying) You Greeks have set shame on Rome, I wanted to bring it back to it's glory of an empire, you may finished this war Jackson but we will bring an empire, and it will be an empire of... The... World."

"(Ancient Greek) You have fought for Rome for many years and now you betrayed your loyalty to it and join the darkest of men, may your sole find punishment in the fields of punishment."

After that Octavian is dead, and the war is done, but there is still a danger from the Templar's, we must be ready for them when the time is right. A week later after a celebration I was at home in my day to day cloths of camp, I saw what is now going on at camp, games are being played, practice secession and a whole lot more, now here I am, a fiance to the woman that I love and a father to a child, and now I'm a killer for hire, a member of an ancient creed that I'm blooded to, an assassin. I went to my wardrobe and opened it, my robe, armor and weapons are in there, I was thinking that I am really a killer and I kept thinking, and then Annabeth came in, she must also be thinking of what we are now.

"Annabeth."

"Yes sweetheart?"

"I was thinking... ever since I killed Octavian, do you think that I am a killer?"

"Why are you asking me this?"

"It's because of my heritage, and what I have done, I killed mortals in this conflict and I killed a legacy."

"Percy you are not a Killer!"

"Am I?"

"Percy I have talked to Bill about this, I know that we are now part of an ancient creed now, but we are not killers, you may have killed monsters, mortals, legacies, and demigods, but we killed them for a cause, Bill told me that they kill to protect liberty, peace, justice, and freedom, you are not a killer, you are a guardian, a protector, a champion of Hera, a hero of Olympus, what you were thinking is nonsense, you fight for a cause like everyone here, you may be a killer for hire now but don't let that take you over and make you grim, you have a family now, a daughter and now a fiance, think about it, you have something to enjoy life!"

"(Sigh with relief) I know... you're right!... I'm not a killer... I'm son of Poseidon, and a hero of Olympus, however tough thing may be, we can go through it."

Now I know that I am not a killer, I can say with confidence that I am more than just a killer, I may have kill people and monsters in the past, I have done those for a cause, to protect, to defend, to value our lives above our oath, I fight for my father, for Olympus, for Rome, for Peace, for freedom, for liberty, and the protect western civilization, and now I am some thing more, a warrior of of gods, a shadow of light, a mover of stealth, I'm the first of my kind, an assassin by heritage, a son of a god, an OLYMPIAN ASSASSIN.
