[If you're still with me, thank you! I had to write this short chapter within 2 hours, so bare with me! I will work on a longer chapter perhaps later today or tomorrow! Anyway's please enjoy!]

Three people, and a teddy bear, were walking through the dead of night, when finally the girl broke the silence,

"Where's Hotaru-chan? Why hasn't anyone answered me yet?" She was determined to find the answer.

They all didn't want to answer the question, when suddenly one of them stopped in their tracks,

"I, no one, wanted to tell you right away." was all he said, he let his blonde hair hide his face.

The other boy with raven hair turned away.

"Why are you guys acting strange? Natsume?" She ran up to the boy with raven hair.

She think she knew the answer, and tears started rolling down her face. "Natsume, look at me please. Tell me, what happened. I'd like to hear it from you."

He looked up at her, he wanted to cry but he felt like he didn't deserve to cry for Mikan's most precious friend, because after all, it's because of him she is no longer in the existing time frame.

The blonde haired man grabbed the little Bear, and walked up the road further to give them some space, "Come on Bear, we are not needed here at this moment."

"I didn't know how to tell you this, how I'm supposed to tell you this kind of information." Natsume started, "A lot has happened, and because of me being able to stand in front of you like this, Ho- Imai-san cannot." He didn't know how to explain it even more, and he thought she'd slap him, or hit him or something. But she just stood there, looking empty.

"No one wanted to tell you this more than me. I feel I deserved at least just to tell you this. She is lost in time, because she decided to save my life. I was actually supposed to be dead." Natsume felt like he died just saying those words to her, explaining what happened to her bestest friend. "Also, there's more.. Her brother helped her, so he is also lost with her."

She still didn't say anything.

"Mikan, please say something.." He asked,

Than finally Mikan walked towards a random tree, which confused Natsume, because he thought he was gonna get beaten up for sure, but as she approached the tree, she yelled, "HOTARU, YOU IDIOT."

Than she started punching the tree and hitting it as hard as she could,

Natsume didn't know what to do, he was scared to say anything more.

Finally after several minutes of beating up the tree, she fell to the ground on her knee's.

"I understand why she did it." She said quietly.

Natsume walked up to her and sat beside her, "I do too. And I'm sorry, I wasn't strong enough. I should have been able to save every-"

Mikan put her fingers on his mouth, "Shh. It's already done, and I'm sure if Noda-sensei knew of a different future for everyone to be able to live together, I'm sure he would have made it happen."

"Are you we ready to walk to your grandfathers house now?" The blonde man yelled from afar,

"Yes, we're coming, Narumi-sensei!" Mikan stood up, and wiped the dirt off her knee's.

She held out her hand, waiting for Natsume to grab it and stand up.

"Let's go, Natsume." She smiled, with tears still rolling down her eyes.

Natsume also stood up, and stopped her from running, to her surprise.

Mikan just looked at him confused, than he wiped her tears and kissed her on the cheek.

Than Natsume grabbed Mikan's hand and ran towards Narumi.

And with that the four of them continued their journey to Mikan's house.

When they finally arrived at her house, she was astonished when she seen her grandfather sitting on the steps.

"Mikan Sakura." He said with a very stern voice, but refused to open his eyes.

"Yes, Ji-chan..." was all she could say, scared of what was about to happen next.

"You are not a delinquent, I raised you better than this." He opened his eyes, than just smiled when he seen her with their guests. "Is what I would have said if Jouta hadn't called me earlier. Ah, wonderful to see you again, Narumi Anju." Her grandfather than stood up and walked inside the house, "I assume you guys will be sleeping here tonight?" He yelled.

"Oh please, I am very tired!" Narumi walked inside with Bear.

"Mikan, about Imai-" Natsume began to say,

"I don't think she would want us to feel guilty, Natsume." She sat on the steps and started looking at the night sky, taking in it's beauty. While Natsume was enjoying a different kind of beauty, he sat beside her.

"Hotaru isn't in the same time frame as us, that's all." Mikan continued, "I love you, Natsume. Hotaru knew that more than anyone in this world. So I can understand her intentions, but that doesn't make it okay for us to just let her suffer wherever she is."

"I couldn't agree more." Natsume said in agreement.

Narumi could over hear them, "My, my. Looks like their going to cause trouble, yet again." He said as he walked away.

"Mikan," Natsume began, she quickly looked at him, he was about to lean in towards her and kiss her when her grandfather interrupted, "Ahh Mikan, please show our GUEST, where Bear-kun's room is. I'm sure the two have a lot of catching up to do."

He than started sweeping under Natsume, forcing him to stand up. Natsume knew he was no match for Mikan's grandfather, not physically, or anything, but that was the man who raised Mikan, and he had no intentions of being disrespectful. Matter of fact, if anything he wanted her grandfathers approval of them.

"Ahh right away, sir." Natsume quickly replied.

"Come on Natsume, I'll show you Bear's room!" Mikan smiled, she knew that her grandfather knew who exactly who this boy was.

When they finally got to Bear's room, Mikan said goodnight and was about to kiss him when Natsume said, "Uhm, I haven't brushed my teeth!" than he ran in the room and shut the door.

She looked hurt when he did that, and he could tell.

"Sorry, Mikan. I don't want to disrespect your grandfather." was all Natsume could think when he quickly surveyed the room he was in, there was a little bed in the middle just the size of Bear, who was already sleeping, but opened his eyes and glared at Natsume right away.

"I guess I'll sleep right here?" Natsume noticed just a blanket and pillow in the corner of the room. He walked over and laid down.

He laid in silence for a bit when he finally said, "I owe you everything Bear, thank you for looking after Mikan."

Bear felt happy hearing those words, than they both drifted off to sleep.
