I didn't know what I had until I lost it.

A/N: I DON'T OWN SGT FROG AND HAVE NO BETA. HEY I'M CHANGING, UPDATING AND CONTINUING WITH THIS STORY. HURAY FOR ME!

Chapter 4: The wrong red head.

To the Hinata siblings the first clue that the wrong red head was in front of them was the hair color: it was a rather ordinary red head not the blood colored red head they were expecting. The second clue was that this red head was rather pale instead of the olive colored or naturally tanned skin they were expecting to see. And the third clue was that this man was a good few inches shorter than Giroro. But none of this had swept the smiles of their faces nor frozen them: no they froze when the 'stranger' turned around to look at who had opened the door and they came face to face with Haru Hinata: their so called father.

Haru's reaction upon seeing his children was far more welcoming than their reaction to him. He smiled brightly at his son and daughter: he was sure it was them Fuyuki looked like a male version of his ex-wife, while the young woman beside him could be no other than his daughter Natsumi she had inherited his amber colored eyes…..even if hers made one think more about liquid gold.

"What's wrong? No hugs for your old man?" Joked Haru awkwardly: he had expected them to resend him some, but hadn't expected to be given such a cold welcome. Without knowing he made the situation worse with his stupid joke: Natsumi had launched for him, but Fuyuki had been able to catch her in time and lifted her of her feet.

This startled Haru greatly and he thanked whatever deity for his son's fast reflections and straight: not knowing he should be thanking an alien frog that could turn human. Due the fact that her children hadn't dragged a certain high ranking soldier into her living room: Aki decided to go look for them to know what was going on. The rest of the household followed her suit: silently of course.

After living with the frogs for so many years one would believe that there would be nothing that could surprise Aki Hinata, even she herself through so: she was evidently very wrong. She was sure that the person at the door was in fact NOT Giro, but she couldn't for the world think of someone that could her daughter to react so aggressively, Keroro and Kururu where exceptions and not outside, and she also couldn't guess why Fuyuki would intervene. But once she saw who was at the door she too was dumb stuck: she never expected Haru to show up again, hell they had believed him death for a long time already.

"Dororo-kun could you please help Fuyuki with Natsumi: I fear that he mightn't be able to hold her much longer." Asked Aki while she signed shaking her head: she KNEW that the gang had followed her, it was impossible for them not too.

"Yes." And before Keroro could say Gundam: Natsumi was gently, but firmly held by the ninja. Fuyuki thanked Dororo before wasting his energy in glaring with all his might at his father who gulped.

"Ok children you all go back to the living room and no questions asked Kero-Kun." Ordered Aki and everyone knew better than to get on her wrong side so did what was asked of them. (Even if they were hardly children anymore) But before she could talk to her ex alone one could hear the typical whine coming from Keroro:

"But Mama-Dono!" Said the Kerorian turned human almost begging on his knees: Paul was the one to take him into the living room by his ear. Aki breathed a few times to calm herself before turning to her ex hoping she wouldn't murder him.

"Alright: explain." Said Aki to a Haru who was still startled and confused by everything… Haru shook his head and nodded.

"Well can't a father come and visit his children?" Asked Haru with a charming smile genuinely confused frustrating Aki: she did now remember why she fell in love with him and why she divorced the man.

"Not if the has been absent more than ten years." Stated Aki trying to remain calm, Haru was about to protest, but Aki cut him short. "No Haru no but's not this time: you lost more than a decade of their lives, no letter, no post-card, nothing. You left me to raise them all alone and I have to thank whatever deity that listened to me that Keroro and the gang came along….They have 'helped' me mold our children in what there are today some more than others." Said Aki thoughtfully thinking about Giro.

"You mean that green haired kid and that ninja like one?" Asked Haru even more confused.

"Yes they are two of them…..you seriously don't know who they are?" Asked Aki now it was her turn to be confused.

"Nope!" Answered Haru proudly popping the 'pe' part like a kid. "Care to explain?" Asked the red haired man.

"Come inside: I can't leave you on the streets no matter how much you may deserve it. And let them explain themselves." Said Aki opening the door to let Haru inside with his backpack and all, she closed her eyes hoping for the best and fearing the worst.

She walked with him to the living room where he was met with hostile glares of everyone inside: even Kururu seemed to be acting hostile toward Haru instead of merely creepy. And sweet gentle Dororo seemed to have reassumed his birth identity of Zeroro the assassin: he was acting THAT hostile.

"Ok no matter how much you all may want a part of him: you can't. He is a guest until I say so or until he leaves again. Now present yourselves." Ordered Aki and Haru was the first to obey.

"Hello everyone as you already must know by your lovely reaction to my person: I'm Haru Hinata. Natsumi and Fuyuki's father." Said Haru filled with sarcasm before sitting down isolated from everyone: the only answer he got was an amused snort from a silver haired young man that was sitting upside down.

"Saburo Mutsumi: I believe you lost your right to call yourself that long ago and I'm part of the EDF I work in the intelligence department. And if you believe us to be welcoming wait 'till red is here." Said Saburo earning some smiles and some evil and creepy laughs from the rest of the group making Haru shiver in fear.

"Wait a moment: you work for those aliens?" Asked Haru surprised not noticing the looks given to him by servile of the rooms' occupants.

"Yeah. So?" Asked Saburo clearly not interested in him any longer.

"He probably finds it cool or something like that: I inherited my love for the paranormal somewhere." Said a bored, but angry Fuyuki: the man who called himself his father disappeared for years and was now going to ruin a 'family' reunion.

"No! I believe that he is a traitor! Working for those monsters that enslaved Earth and then made the whole world believe them to be heroes!" Exclaimed Haru offended that his children had even contact with someone who would allied himself with the aliens: he still didn't know he was in the room with said aliens.

"GERO, GERO, GERO, GERO, GERO, GERO, GERO, GERO!" Keroro sat there laughing his ass off before breathing deeply and compose himself a little. "WOW! Mama-Dono I'm happy that both: Fuyuki and Natsumi-Dono inherited your intelligence!" Exclaimed the alien still humored and the rest nodded agreeing with Keroro for once. "You're Haru right?" Asked Keroro pointing his finger at Haru.

"Yes that's me." Answered Haru glaring at the green haired kid.

"I will tell you one thing…well two! We didn't enslave the humanity and second we didn't want to become heroes to this planet even if that's a nice extra!" Said Keroro still laughing a little surprising Haru.

"What!?" Exclaimed Haru not sure if he was angry or terribly confused. "You are one of them!?"

"Yeah so are: Dororo, Tamama, Kururu and Giroro." Answered Keroro. "But Giroro isn't here yet."

"Wait a moment you stupid frog!" Exclaimed Natsumi. "You didn't invade the planet that was Giroro all by himself!" Said Natsumi punching Keroro on the head knocking him out. "And you!" She said turning to her father. "They may be many things, but monsters aren't one of them got it?" Asked a furious Natsumi.

Before anyone could react or say anything they all heard a big crash coming from outside the garden…well it had been a garden before the crash now it was a big smoke cloud.

A/N: Leave a review! And my favorite frog's enter is still somewhat the same: crashing in!
