Kurumu examined her image in the mirror, before striking her best seductive pose. She sighed to herself, feeling pretentious wearing the racy lingerie that her mother had sent. She had finally got up the courage to send her mother a letter telling the good news of finding her destined one. Of course, the woman didn't disappoint, going overboard asking questions and making suggestions that made her face burn crimson while she read the response.
No one would ever, ever, call Ageha Kurono prudish. Not for the last time, did she wish that her mother could have given her better advice than what she suggested for her daughter. 'Wear this, get access to his room by any means necessary, and rock his world.' Some of the activities suggested she knew she wasn't flexible enough for, let alone ready for. She took a deep breath as she entertained the ideas her mother had put in her head.
The doppelganger in the mirror fidgeted in the black satin and lace skimps of cloth, that her mom had gifted her with. A battle of emotions began to rage inside of the beautiful girl. She knew that she was desirable, her heritage guaranteed that she was gifted with a form that men would kill to be with. Sexy, hot, stunning, drop dead gorgeous could all be terms to describe her; Kurumu's race was lust personified. She was a succubus, and she shouldn't be this indecisive regarding her destined one, but with Naruto she wasn't sure.
She loved the blond boy with all her heart, and would do anything for him. She just wasn't sure what she wanted. The idea of doing things her mother had suggested with the man she loved made her burn with desire, but at the same time it seemed to cheapen what she felt for him. She wanted to do simple things like hold hands with him, cuddle, go on dates, and make out in the back of the movie theatre. She had just been feeling almost, inadequate recently.
There were so many other girls close to Naruto, and none of them could be called ugly. Kurumu didn't know what to think about Moka half the time. The vampire was confusing, and it was only worse that she was somehow two girls in one. Moka was a wildcard regarding her destined one, shifting her attention between Naruto and Tsukune. Yukari, wasn't a huge threat, it was obvious that she was infatuated with Naruto but she was too young. She could easily tell that her beau wasn't into that loli-stuff, but Yukari wouldn't be little forever. Kurumu had even investigated Naruto's stalker, Mizore; and it seemed the girl was getting bolder by the day.
The new girl had only intensified her apprehension. Ahri was beautiful, confident and most worryingly the same race as Naruto. She didn't think that Naruto really cared about that, but it still irked Kurumu. She sighed, recalling the encounter she had with the vixen earlier that day.
(Flash Back)
Kurumu glanced out from behind a tree, waiting for her target to appear from the girl's dormitories. She didn't have to wait long until Ahri walked out, her stride confident and her uniform crisp. The succubus followed along in the trees, as the girl traveled along the path until it met up with the walkway coming from the boy's dorms. Ahri waited at the fork, and Kurumu could easily see all of the male eyes the new girl attracted. The vixen waited a few minutes before Ahri continued the journey to the school proper, it was then that Kurumu put her plan in motion.
Weaving her illusions around the kitsune she subtly shifted the surroundings, and where the path headed. Kurumu smirked when Ahri, strode off of where the path really was, walking into the surrounding woods. A bead of perspiration streaked down the bluenette's beautiful face as she kept shifting the illusions so that Ahri went where she wanted her to go. Once Ahri was a good distance away from prying eyes Kurumu struck. The succubus threw a fist sized rock at the same time crafting the illusion of a tree branch lashing out. Her throw was a little off where intended, but it still landed; the rock hitting low on the new girl's hip.
"I'm only going to give you one warning." Kurumu hissed, crafting her illusions so her voice rang from all around them. "Stay away from Naruto!"
"Oh my, how terrifying." Ahri said, her voice lilting with husky tones of amusement. "I thought the path seemed a little too uneven."
"I mean it, stay away from him or I'll have the trees tear you to pieces." Kurumu's echoing voice snarled, as the illusioned trees seemed to close in snapping their branches inches away from the raven haired girl.
"That's a lovely perfume you're wearing, something with LILACS!?" Ahri snapped, a ball of white light appearing in her hand a split second before she threw it. The shimmering white ball soared toward Kurumu's hiding spot, but it seemed Ahri didn't know exactly were she was; the ball of foxfire searing a perfectly round hole through a tree just a few feet away.
In her surprised state Kurumu's illusions fell away and Ahri fixed her with a fierce look. Kurumu sent back a glare just as intense, her wings and nails extending. The kitsune took a few seemingly casual steps to the side, and Kurumu barely caught the glimmer of light out of the corner of her eye. The succubus spun away as the ball of white fire zipped inches away, burning the hem of her skirt on it's path back towards Ahri.
"Oh dear, you didn't listen to Lord Naruto did you?" Ahri asked, as both girls squared up across from each other. "He said, he didn't want either of us maimed, but here you are picking a fight you can't win."
"Shut up!" Kurumu snapped back. "There's too much at stake for me to lose, I won't let you just waltz right in and get between me and my destined one!"
"You remember Kuyo, yes: could you beat him? I know you saw me in Lord Naruto's room, I'm two tails more powerful than Kuyo. Kitsune are S class yokai, Succubuses are what? B class, maybe A class at best." Ahri taunted, her posture tall and confident. "Besides, you're going about this all wrong, I don't plan on getting between you and Lord Naruto."
"What!?" Kurumu gasped, her battle-stance faltering slightly. "What do you mean by that, and why should I believe you when you said that thing about seducing him?"
"I mean what I said, I don't plan on getting between you and your so called destined one. It's not my place to deny him anything." Ahri sighed, and the ball of foxfire in her hand shrank into nothingness. "Besides, can you really blame me for thinking about seducing him?"
It took several moments for Kurumu's thoughts to reboot and sort out the mix of emotions and adrenaline. "But you- I-. Okay, please help me out here, because I was all keyed up to murder you if need be; but now I'm not sure."
"Lord Naruto is the only know nine-tails in existence and therefore he is my master. If he wants to be with you, that's fine." Ahri explained, "If he wants to be with me, even better. It's not my place to stop him if he wanted both of us."
"B-but he's mine." Kurumu muttered, confused whether she should be happy, or should go back to plan A; trying to kill her. "How could you think like that? You've only known him for like, less than a day!"
"How long did it take till he started to pull on your heart?" Ahri shot back, with a sigh. "I'm not saying I love him, but he most certainly is special. I don't know exactly how I feel about him, or if what I feel is because he's the nine-tails; I just know he's incredible."
"Yeah, he really is." Kurumu agreed, feeling and odd companionship with the other girl. "But, it can't be love, you just met him and he's mine."
"I just know that whenever I'm near him it feels like electricity is running up and down my spine." Ahri smirked, before shrugging. "He's everything good and none of the bad that I expected from a legendary kyuubi."
"Oh yeah! Well when I sit with him at lunch my stomach is filled with so many butterflies I can barely eat!" The succubus countered. "He's saved my life, and I've even seen his true form!"
"Oh! I am jealous about that." Ahri grumbled. "Please tell me what his true form is like. Kuyo didn't explain it very well, and I've only heard that he was as big as the school."
"Twice as big, easily." The Bluenette answered. "It was incredible and terrifying, he showed up with a massive blast of yoki. When he roared and I thought he was going to destroy everything, I was so scared I could barely breath. Then he looked down on me, his huge red eyes filled with so much concern. I knew then, that everything was going to be fine; I felt so safe. I felt like he could, and would destroy half the world to prevent anything from hurting me."
"That sounds incredible!" The vixen gushed, before smoothly walking up to Kurumu holding out her hand. "I think that Lord Naruto is wiser than he thinks, and he's right; we're both lovely girls. Let's not kill each other."
"Alright, but just remember I saw his first." Kurumu stated, pausing a moment before taking the offered hand, giving it a single firm shake. "I guess it was foolish attacking someone who should be stronger than Kuyo."
"Don't sell yourself too short, your illusion was really good. Kitsune have some illusion powers too, and I can't do anything near as good." Ahri smirked. "I bet that if you got better and had a good plan of attack you would be able to beat Kuyo. Beside we both should be strong if we want to support Naruto."
"What do you mean? I doubt anyone is dumb enough to pick a fight with Naruto." Kurumu stated. (Somewhere Chopper sneezed)
"Don't underestimate people's stupidity." Ahri rolled her eyes. "You need to understand what you are getting involved in if you want to stay around Naruto. He is very powerful and that power will attract a lot of attention. And, he isn't even at full strength yet, he's still recovering from whatever caused him to lose his memories. When he is fully recovered, I don't doubt that he will have the power to change the world. There are groups out there that will want to use that power."
"I won't let anything keep me and Naruto apart." Kurumu declared fiercely. "My path is already set."
Ahri nodded happily to the other girl's impassioned statement. The two girls slowly started up a conversation, before they began to chat about anything; but mostly talking about Naruto. They spent so much time together that they missed their first classes because they were too busy gossiping with each other.
(Flashback end)
Kurumu sighed remembering everything that had happened. She was very confused regarding Ahri, she couldn't decide if she should like her, or keep her guard up around her. Recent events had made her into a bundle of indecision and confusion, she felt like her love was slowly slipping away from her. His declaration about becoming the president of the Student Police had caught her off guard.
It actually caught everyone in the News-paper Club by surprise, and she didn't like that his new position would likely cause them to spend less time together. Of course she had instantly said that she would join him, but he said he didn't want her to leave; he even had a good reason. He said that he wanted the News-paper club to work with the Student Police, at least covertly. He wanted the News-paper club to do exactly what they always did, but to also keep an ear out for things that would help him with his new responsibilities.
Gin hadn't been all that interested, say that he had too many bad memories with the Student Police to work for them. Naruto had insisted that they wouldn't be working with the Student Police they would be helping him out personally, and with his new position he might be able to grant them some favors as well. When Gin asked what, The blond hadn't been too sure what exactly but suggested press passes. Maybe access to things other students would be herded away from as none of their business. That got Gin's interest and he agreed that, if it was just to help Naruto that it wouldn't hurt to keep their ears out for stuff that could help.
Kurumu still didn't like it, she wanted to be as close as possible to her love. She was just so on edge because of everything happening around her. Her destined one was likely one of the most powerful beings in existence, and because of that he was sure to attract a lot of trouble. He already had a stalker, a loli witch, a schizophrenic vampire, and a six tailed kitsune all wanting his attention, and she didn't like it one bit. The last two in the list were powerful yokai, and she wasn't at all confident facing them if it came down to blows. She didn't want to fight Moka, and Ahri didn't seem too bad, but Kurumu would die for him; and would die without him.
The determined look that she saw in the mirror, wasn't the sexiest but she didn't care. She wouldn't rest until she was strong enough to make anyone think twice before coming between her and her love. She imagined herself as a powerful, sexy secret agent gathering information for Naruto. The more she thought about it the more the idea appealed to her. She could see herself delivering vital information to Naruto in his office late at night, and he would be so grateful that he would reward her in imagined ways that sent a shiver down her spine.
She didn't think that her love would forget about her, but she wanted him to be thinking of her more than any others. Her thoughts wandered as she thoughts of way to ensure that none of the girls around him gained an upper hand. Several good ideas occurred to her, and the reflection in the mirror slipped into a much more appropriate pose for one of her heritage, cool, confident, and irresistibly desirable.
"You know, you don't have to join if you don't want to, right?" Naruto asked the raven haired girl walking beside him.
"Nonsense." Ahri countered, the sound of her shoes clicking a steady beat as they walked under the multiple tori gates toward their destination. "It was very wise to ask me to come. Kuyo used to be president and I should be able to sort help sort out some of the mess he's sure to have left."
Naruto nodded, digging the key out of his pocket as they reached the doors to the Student Police building. The building was empty since the Student Safety Committee's activities had been suspended. The decorations seemed to be mostly in the traditional Japanese style, glossed wood and simple paintings cover the walls. However, the artistic atmosphere was often disturbed by more functional chairs, desks and file cabinets. As they traveled deeper into the building they stumbled onto the holding cells, which triggered a mix of feelings from them. The odd discolorations caught their eyes, and both of their sensitive noses wrinkled at the old unpleasant scents. Eventually after several minutes of exploration they found Kuyo's old office. The room was large, the wood paneling giving the office a pleasant earthy scent. The walls were covered with kitsune art, and large desk also had carvings of a fox theme.
"Wow this is a bit much." Naruto muttered looking around the office.
"I always knew that Kuyo had a over inflated opinion of himself, but I didn't think he would created his own personal shrine." Ahri huffed, a hint of sadness in her voice. "I should have visited before it got so bad."
"You guys use to be close?" Naruto asked, walking behind the ornately carved desk.
"I used to think we were, but I don't think that was ever the case." Ahri sighed. "I used to- well let's say he used to be my reason for getting strong."
A strong memory flashed through his head and he recalled several details of a black haired boy that he used to think of as a brother. Now he had a different view, and he didn't think it was completely from Kurama's hate of all things Uchiha. He viewed a lot of things about his past differently, the stuff he could remember clearly that was.
"Yeah I can understand that." The blond nodded solemnly. "I used to have a friend-ish rival, named Sasuke. We had a lot of good times together, but looking back he was really self absorbed. I probably should have dealt with him him the first time he tried kill me."
"The first time?" Ahri gasped. "Who would be stupid enough to try and kill you, let alone more than once."
"Yeah well, I honestly wasn't fighting with my full strength." Naruto shrugged, not wanting to go into the details.
The pair then began looking around office, Ahri looking through some file cabinets, while Naruto examined his desk. The blond ninja was a little confused, the contents of the desk seemed a little sparse. Sure there were the standard office supplies, pens, paper, staples, however there was a large drawer that was empty. He suspected that it hadn't always been empty, and decided to search more thoroughly. Prodding, knocking around the desk he felt for any secrets he imagined the corrupt leader of a mob like student organization would hide. A small panel on the side of the desk opened to reveal a large stack of cash that was certainly dirty money. The important thing he found was a false bottom in the empty drawer, a quick look through the files contained within showed them to be blackmail material on most of the staff.
Miss Nekonome had some issue in the human world when a young man grabbed her tail because he thought she was doing cosplay. The human boy ended up in the hospital with severe lacerations all across his body, and Miss Nekonome still had a warrant out for her arrest. The Math Teacher, Miss Kagome had multiple unconfirmed sordid relationships with under performing students. They were all unconfirmed because Kuyo could never get a straight answer from the student's in question. However, the file did contain a picture of Miss Kagome wearing a very revealing black outfit, and holding a riding crop over a student that appeared to be intently reading a book.
Unsurprisingly the Art Teacher Miss Ishigami had an already established record of kidnapping beautiful girls. The file said that she had only picked one girl a year, that girl was used as a muse of sorts for a year. After the year of stone imprisonment the girl reappeared at the Yokai Academy Private Hospital, unharmed but without a solid recollection about what had happened to her. There wasn't any notes about the recent abductions, and Naruto wondered why the art teacher had decided to abduct so many girls at once.
The thickest file by far was for Professor Richard. The file contained details of multiple counts of student injury. Cases of student disappearances, only to have said students reappear physically healthy, if not mentally distraught. There was a case when the science teacher used a live rabbit for a dissection demonstration, turns out that the animal had been a pet of one of the students. Professor Richard apologized saying, 'My bad, it shouldn't have been outside of the dorms. Let me return her to you, I think I did a particularly good job on the digestive system.' The student didn't take well to having her pet returned to her divided between multiple jars of embalming fluid, and didn't show up to classes for a month. The warlock never got into too much trouble because none of the injuries were permanent and anything more egregious could never be proven. It still showed a record of seeming incompetence, that Kuyo attempted to use to put the teacher under his thumb; a handwritten note suggested the attempt didn't go well. 'I sent Officer Shinji to bring Professor Richard to heel, I haven't seen Shinji since.'
The one Naruto really didn't like was the file on the Gym Teacher, Mr Kotsubo. Kuyo had two confirmed and several more unconfirmed cases of the gym teacher grooming female students. Some of the girls stopped attending his class, and other girls would leave school entirely. The one case that really rankled Naruto was the girl that had been one of the very rare cases of a student becoming pregnant. She had been a member of the swimming club and after it had been discovered she was pregnant many students reported hearing shouting between her and and Mr. Kotsubo. The girl had dropped out of school two days later.
An uneasy feeling began to grow up Naruto's spin as he took this new information about the gym teacher and applied it to his experiences. Ever since he had met Mizore that one day in the forest she had slowly been attending more of her classes. The class that he had seen her attending the most had been the gym class they shared. Gym class was an odd thing at Yokai Academy, when you considered that many monsters didn't have very good control of their human guises. So It wasn't uncommon that certain student's would partially untransform when doing strenuous activities, or be particularly uncoordinated because they were used running on four legs rather than two.
Mizore and himself were the two standout stars in gym class. It wasn't hard for him to learn the 'human' sports, because he was a ninja and had spent all of his life as a human instead of in his now technical true form. His shy friend was actually quite athletic and Naruto suspected that she was a monster with a form not dissimilar to a human. She moved much more gracefully than most of the other students, one of which grew antenna anytime she was hit with a dodge ball.
The thing that did concern him was the praise that the gym teacher had directed toward Mizore. Before he had read the file of blackmail, it didn't seem to be anything special. Now he could infer deeper meaning to the glares Kotsubo sent him whenever Mizore would gather enough courage to talk with him during classes.
"Did you find anything good?" Naruto asked Ahri, looking up from the faculty's files.
"Not really." She shook her head, her hair bouncing around her face. "These cabinets are a mix of protection payment records and lists of problem students and their punishments. Honestly, it seems so stupid to keep records of your crimes, but it's just like Kuyo to want to be reminded of his little victories. We might be able to use these to sort the good members from the corrupt, if they aren't all corrupt. Did you find anything of interest?"
"A bit, I found what I'm guessing was Kuyo's stash of quick grab cash, as well as a drawer of blackmail." Naruto answered, numbing through the stack of bills and indicating toward the drawer. "Although I'm guessing that there should be a lot more blackmail since the drawer was mostly empty."
"Knowing Kuyo he had that filled with information on his officers." Ahri made an educated guess, twirling a lock of hair around a finger. "One of them probably knew about the drawer, and grabbed it before they locked this place up."
"Hmm." Naruto grunted in affirmation. "If we're lucky whoever has it will use it for their own purposes, then we could recover it. If they're smart they destroyed it all."
"So what do you want to do?" Ahri asked. "Do you have experience with anything similar, you seem to be handling it quite well."
Memories of his time training with Pervy Sage flickered through his thoughts. Remembering the many times Jiriya had him help sort through rumors and intel reports. He hadn't payed too much attention at the time, it had all seemed quite boring back then. Why should he care that a harlot reported that a trader she slept with hadn't been receiving his usual shipments of iron from Earth Country. It hadn't seemed very important compared to learning how to kick harder, but now he could see how it would have been vital- vital to... He couldn't remember exactly why learning administration skills would be important to his future.
"Y-yeah I've learned some stuff that will help." The forgetful blond answered, trying to shake off his uneasy feeling that he hadn't remembered something important. "We need to get all the members back together. It's going to be a pain but we need to sort through everyone, see if there's anyone we can trust; or if we kick them all to the curb. I would like to thoroughly question the club officers, so I can get a good idea about what they did before."
"About that." Ahri interjected, a rare tone of uncertainty in her voice. "If it's not rude, could I ask to be your vice president."
"Sure." Naruto acknowledge without missing a beat. He turned back to the desk and started to sort through the office supplies. "There's no way I'm trusting whoever's been vice president before, and with six tails you're more than powerful enough."
"Oh, yes- of course. Thank you." She said fidgeting slightly, before quickly giving a short bow. "I'm glad I was sent here."
"Yeah? Why is that?" He asked without looking at the girl, he was busy examining a random paper that appeared to have a load of gibberish written on it.
"Despite being so powerful you still are a such a nice person." Ahri straightened with a sigh that seemed half purr.
"Thank's I guess." Naruto glanced over and did a double take seen the serene look of adoration on Ahri's face. "Well w-we should get to work. How do you think we should gather up the club members?"
"I believe I could use the P.A. system Lord Naruto." The vixen said.
"Yeah that should do it." Naruto agreed before frowning. "And call me Naruto!"
"As my lord commands." Ahri quipped with a smile before skipping off.
Naruto's head cocked as he heard hear Ahri's pleasant voice ringing through campus calling all members of the Student Police to meet at the club building at 4 o'clock. Going back to what he had been doing, he continued to feel around the wall that had some suspicious scuff marks near its base. Running his fingers over the grain of the wood along the wall he felt where the grain changed to a knot hole and felt it move slightly. Pushing the knot inward, Naruto was pleasantly surprised when the wall shifted out and to the side, opening to a passage downwards. He was about to explore the secret passage until he heard Ahri return.
"They should be here soon." Ahri declared before seeing Naruto's discovery. "Oh, I was wondering if Kuyo had something like that. Sometimes when he knew he was over his head he would come up with a backup plan, although most of them involved blaming me for whatever he did."
"Do you have any ideas about how to handle all of this?" Naruto asked, pushing the secret wall closed. He was unsure exactly how to proceed with the soon to be arriving underlings.
"Well I don't want to tell you how to run things, you are the president. It's your job to ensure this group protects the school as need be." Ahri answered, uncertainly. "I am sure you will do great."
"Alright, I guess we should tell everyone who's in charge now, and some of the changes I plan on making. If anyone wants to leave they can do so then. After that I'll figure something out." Naruto muttered mostly to himself. Closing the secret passage the blond paced around the desk "Could you get everyone together and bring them all in when they are all here."
"Of course." The vixen nodded and left.
As the new president of the Student Police waited for his subordinates to gather he pondered how to treat them. He didn't have much experience being a leader, although he could remember serving under quite a few squad captains. Thinking through all the things he had like and disliked, he knew that he would have to wing it. It would really depend on how the club members responded to his lead, with everything that had happened recently it was sure to be a volatile situation.
From the faint sound of whispers coming from outside the doors it didn't seem like he wouldn't have to wait much longer. Standing he walked to the front of the ornate desk, leaning causally on it he prepared himself. The doorknob twisted and Ahri's form stepped through, before she smoothly slid into the room taking a place at the left side of the desk.
The other members of the Student Police filtered in, some of them wearing the club black, others in normal school uniforms. There seemed to be about twenty of them, some that he recognized others he didn't. A few of the ones he recognized sent him glares, as it seemed they remembered the beat down he had given them. They formed a loose group in front of Ahri and himself, and after the shuffling of feet quieted silence reigned for a few moments.
"Alright, for those of you that don't know what's going on my name is Naruto Uzumaki, and I'm the new president of this club.." The blond said, introducing himself, before pulling a folded piece of paper from his pocket. "I have a letter of appointment, signed by The Headmaster. So I'm going to make this simple. I plan on making quite a few changes, if you don't like that you are free to leave right now."
The group glanced amongst each other for a moment before a bespectacled boy took a half step forward, his eye-wear catching the light. "I'm Yuichi Toshinu, Vice President of this club. I don't doubt that you are now our leader, we all knew something was going to happen. It is my duty to help you, what changes are you planning?"
"Thanks for the offer Yuichi, however the first change is as for now all previous positions held in the club are revoked until I know who I can trust." Naruto countered, before gesturing toward the girl beside him. "This is Ahri, she is the new Vice President."
"Chessh, what a load of crap." A girl with long purple hair scoffed. He recognized her from before, she had been particularly unpleasant before and had turned into a giant spider woman. "Even if the Headmaster made you President what makes you think you can just come in here and ruin everything?"
"You guys don't know how badly you screwed up, do you?" Naruto groaned, before explaining. "The Headmaster considered disbanding the club entirely, Kuyo really drove the Student Police into the ground. I'm here to clean up his mess and get this club back to doing the job of protecting the school."
"We were doing that before, and doing a fine job of it!" The spider girl hissed. "We don't need you or your slutty vice president."
"You think becoming a bunch of thugs is what this club is supposed to do? Did if feel good lording your position over the other students? The Student Police wasn't made so you could get your rocks off seeing students scurrying away from you!" Naruto snarled, deciding to take a page from Kurama's book. He felt a tingle pass over is body as he ratcheted up his yoki, pushing it to the edge before he instinctively knew he would start to transform if he raised it anymore. A short gasp to his left drew his attention for a moment, glancing over he saw Ahri still standing at the ready. However, her face was a mix of awe and elation, her eyes sparkling with a sort of smug adoration. Looking back, several of the club members had paled or grimaced, feeling his oppressive yoki. "If you think you're so tough, come and prove it! I guarantee you'll understand, just how it feels to have someone much stronger than you push you around. I won't tolerate bullies in my organization, and if you don't like it leave!"
Naruto lowered his yoki enough so that they could relax, but held it so they could still easily feel his power. He looked between the various members of the group, looking intensely at everyone that locked eyes with him. No one held his gaze for long, and the tension slowly lowered; the members seemingly cowed.
"You!" Naruto snapped pointing to the purple haired spider girl. "What's your name?"
"Keito." She answered stiff backed, looking at him for a moment before turning away from his red eyed stare.
"Do you still want to be a part of this club?" He demanded. "Or was putting others down, so you could feel better about yourself the only reason for joining?"
"I- I still want to be a part of the Student Police." She muttered, but a stiff set to her shoulders suggested that she still harbored some rebellious thoughts.
"If that's the case, then I suggest you apologize to your new Vice President." Naruto commanded with a twitch of his head. "Ahri isn't my vice president just because I trust her. She is also much stronger than that embarrassment Kuyo, remember that the next time you think about insulting her."
The vixen crossed her arms with a pleased look, as she waited for Keito. It took a few seconds before the spider girl stepped forward bowing deeply at the waist.
"Please forgive me Vice President." Keito forced out, her hair falling around her face. "I spoke foolishly, all the stressful things that have happened recently have loosened my tongue."
"It's understandable to lose your composure when in the presence of someone as powerful as President Naruto." Ahri said, a gracious tone to her voice, as she shot Naruto a sly grin. "I forgive you, this time."
"Alright now that is dealt with let's get this started." The President of the Student Police said. "I'd like to discuss club activities, and some changes I've thought about."
Once Naruto had established dominance, the club meeting had progressed much better than he had initially expected. Yuichi, the former vice president had been surprisingly helpful. He explained the usually activities of the club, such as patrol patterns, and what the club was allowed to do to misbehaving students. He also summarized how Kuyo had expanded the clubs role, and their 'protection' policies.
Basically the Student Police were charged with keeping the peace at the Academy. To do this the club members were to patrol the school, and its grounds to prevent any rule breaking. If members caught students breaking the rules they were to stop them with reasonable force, what exactly reasonable force was hadn't been completely outlined. However, members were aloud to transform into their true form if necessary, and they were the only club allowed to carry certain weapons outside of club rooms. Naruto was unhappy that kunai and shuriken weren't on the list of approved weapons, he would make an effort to have an exception made.
The Student Police didn't have much power as far as punishments went, the best they could do was assign a single detention. Although that single detention had often become indefinite once Kuyo gained power. Now it was Naruto's job to simply record any misdeeds and report it to a teacher for them to decide punishments. The Blond was glad that he wasn't expected to be judge, jury and executioner, still something rebelled inside of him at the idea of being The Law around the academy. He would have to do his best to follow the spirit of the rules and not be a stickler following word for word by the book. He made a mental note to find a complete list of school rules, if he was to uphold the rules he should at least be familiar with them.
Getting a list of rules wasn't the only thing that needed to be done. He needed a complete roster of his members, their abilities and most importantly who could be trusted. His first meeting with all of his members seemed to show their obedience to his rule, and he didn't want to simply wait until any ne'er-do-wells to slip up.
He also wanted to make some changes to their uniform, the black was eye catching and as a ninja he tried to avoid that. (If anyone said that he used to wear 'kill me orange' he would be quick to point out that orange was awesome, and that he was so good regarding stealth that the handicap didn't matter.) His experience indicated that unless you wanted the attention to create an atmosphere of security, being noticed didn't help you enforce the law. He wanted something subtle, like an arm band, or something you could put on and off quickly. He still wanted to have the option of the black uniform, but he also wanted something that didn't scream 'Here come the fuzz.'
The newly minted president stretched as he walked away from the club building. He had spent the last few hours familiarizing himself with his club members, and there seemed to have been a lot more little things to sort out. Naruto was extremely grateful that Ahri had joined with him, his Vice President seemed to have noticed his mood and suggested that she take care of the details regarding the roster. He tried his best to remember their names and various true forms, but learning their class schedules had really started to wear on him. Sure, he knew that having all of their class times recorded was important if he wanted to create good patrol scheduleds, but he wasn't a minute detail sort of guy.
Rolling his shoulders he was glad that he could escape, he would have to thank Ahri later. However, he had another friend that was on his mind, a certain shy purple haired girl. The things he had discovered about the Gym Teacher, Mr Kotsubo had really troubled him. Maybe it was the fact that the guy ran a class where you played games but he had seemed so likable. Perhaps that persona had allowed him to get close to the girls he had targeted. He could see it, a friendly, somewhat attractive guy, giving attention to shy girls just like Mizore. He imagined that it wouldn't be all that hard to slowly push demure, naive girls into trusting and eventually doing things for him.
"Now if I were a cute, shy, and somewhat stalkerish girl, where would I be?" Naruto muttered to himself before promptly looking behind him, and retracing his path. Amazingly she wasn't there, it was a good plan though. Going on to Plan B, Naruto headed to the main school building and wandered around trying to catch a bit of her scent.
He hadn't thought of it much before, but now that he had regained a lot of his memories he was amazed by his sense of smell. As a ninja he had always had a fairly sensitive nose, but after becoming a yoko it was such an extreme jump in perceptivity. He often had to ignore the multitude of scents that mixed together in a school with some many people. It was easy to get overwhelmed, as everyone had their own scent and each race of yokai smelled different. He had gained a new respect for nin-dogs and Kiba because of their skilled noses.
Wandering around he did his best to sort through all the smells of the school. It wasn't easy when the individual scents of girls were mixed up with their own personal perfumes. Certain smelly or unwashed students caused his nose to wrinkle, and he would have to break off, sneazing and rubbing his nose before he could restart. He absentmindedly noted a trail made by Yukari, when he guessed she had passed through hours ago.
Eventually his efforts payed off, when he scented the faint smell of vanilla that came from Mizore's shampoo or something. Of course vanilla didn't immediately mean he had found her, many girls throughout the school had similar smelling body products. However, it was the underlying smell that was distinctly hers, the best way to describe it was freshly fallen snow. He wasn't sure why she smelled like snow, he suspected that it had something to do with what yokai she was; but for now he had her trail.
Following her scent he smirked at the sense of newness, as it led out toward the forest surround the school. He guessed that she only been through minutes beforehand. His smirk faltered when he caught another scent, either joining or following Mizore. It was an odd fishy odor, it seemed familiar but Naruto couldn't put a face to the smell. The two scents continued, out toward the cliff edge that overlooked Yokai Academy's disturbing blood red sea.
The faint murmur of conversation reached his ears, sinking into ingrained training Naruto crouched moving forward slowly. Keeping trees between himself and the voices Naruto walked purposefully making sure not to kick leaves or break twigs. It wasn't long before he could understand what was being said, and who was speaking.
"Why wont you at least consider what I'm saying." The male voice of Mr Kotsubo grumbled. "Naruto is dangerous, He was this close to being expelled. The Headmaster only kept him around so that he could be his personal dog on a leash."
A flash of anger shot through him when he heard the Gym Teachers opinion. A part of him still found it odd how he felt about himself, either it was a bit of left over Kurama or kitsune were inherently prideful creatures. Before he had been changed he would have called his new attitude stuck up, now he just wanted to punch the teacher for daring to call him that.
"I told you, he's always been nice to me." Mizore countered, her voice reserved. "He's been one of the reasons why I've been going to classes more often, Naruto's so confident that a bit rubbed off."
"Haven't I helped you too?" Kotsubo asked, his voice taking a sly tone. "Don't you recall saying you had feelings for me?"
The trees began to thin out and Naruto was able to see the two of them standing fairly close to the cliff edge. He wore a confident smile as he examined her. However, Mizore stood in a diminutive posture, her cheeks painted pink from the Teacher's statement.
"T-that was a while ago." Mizore stuttered. "You know there aren't very many other people where I come from. You were nice, and it felt like you were the only one I could trust. It was just a crush on a teacher, I was simply confused back then."
"Don't be like that, surely it wasn't just some crush. Maybe you need sensei to clear up your confusion." Mr. Kotsubo cooed, stepping closer and cupping his hand under her chin. "Don't worry I'll take care of you, everything will be alright as long as I'm with you."
Naruto was just about to burst from the trees when he saw Kotsubo slowly lowing his head, his intention clear. However, just as he tensed his muscles, Mizore acted first.
"NO!" She yelled wide eye, and pushed away. Because of his posture the gym teacher was off balance and stumbled backwards from the girl's shove. As if divined by karma, Kotsubo's heel caught on a small stone that caused him to stumble farther back. He tipped over the edge of the cliff, and Naruto was slightly disappointed when the gym teacher caught himself from falling all the way down.
"You bitch!" Kotsubo snarled, securing his grip and pulling himself up slightly.
"I'm sorry!" Mizore gasped, rushing over and grabbing onto the collar of his shirt.
"I could have you expelled for this!" He growled, one hand moving from the cliff edge to Mizore's wrist. "Now what are you going to do make this up to me?"
Naruto's teeth gritted hearing the gall this man had, if honeyed words didn't work he was clearly prepared to use blackmail. His legs itched to move out there and kick his teeth in, however something in Mizore's eyes stopped him.
"Nothing.." Mizore whispered, a thin fog fell away from her and a visible stream of her breath blew passed her lips. Suddenly, she reached back with her free hand, long blade like claws of ice digging into the ground; anchoring herself safely to the ground. Her hair also took on the iridescent shine of ice, and her eyes sparkled angrily. The hand that she had used to try and help him also grew blades of shimmering ice, fingers fixing dangerously around Kotsubo's exposed neck. "I'm not the same girl I was when I said those things to you."
"You really do want to get expelled." He hissed, but a nervous gulp was visible as his Adam's-apple bobbed.
Before anything else could happen Naruto decided to interrupt their stalemate. Stepping from the trees Naruto clapped, it was a slow repetitive sound that instantly gained both of their attention.
"That was awesome!" He praised, finishing his slow applause. "I knew you would be able to find some confidence."
"N-Naruto?" Mizore gasped.
"You!" Kotsubo growled. "What are you doing here?!"
"I was just looking for a friend and I stumble upon this." Naruto shrugged.
"Then you saw, she tried to kill me!" Kotsubo exclaimed, earning him a very hurt look from Mizore.
"Yeah, didn't figure my first case would involve a teacher." Naruto smiled with a shrug. "Okuto Kotsubo, you are under arrest for sexual harassment and blackmail."
Both people near the edge of the cliff seemed to be struck dumb as he walked over, and pulled them both away from the ledge. It took a moment as he found his feet before teacher's brain caught. When regained his senses he yanked himself out of Naruto's grasp, taking several steps away.
"What!" Kotsubo snarled, turning away and brushing the dirt off of his cloths. "Stop talking like an idiot? I'm a teacher you can't treat me like that."
"I believe I can." The blond countered, a clear tone of amusement in his voice. "I'm the new President of The Student Police, and this isn't the first time you've done this. You have a history of targeting shy girls, and I am going too use everything in my power to make sure it ends today."
Mizore blinked, only her eyes revealing her emotions as she looked between Naruto and Kotsubo, whether she was shocked by the teacher's former misdeeds or Naruto's position he couldn't tell. He didn't get a chance to ask as the gym teacher suddenly whirled back round, his arms changing; extending into long tentacles. Kotsubo's odd appendages wrapped around both of the student's waists, attaching firmly with an odd sucking sensation. The odd event caught Naruto off guard, but he recovered quickly moving to prevent it going any further. Sticking himself to the ground he reached out grabbing Mizore by the elbow, well above of the jagged ice claws that she still had out.
"Such a shame that two students fell to their-" The two student's scheduled for an early death, interrupted the teacher's gloats. With angry red eyes and a twirl of his wrist, Naruto snaked his free arm around the tentacle attached to him. Sinking his slightly elongated nail in he secured his grip and squeezed, ready to rip the disgusting limb off if need be.
Reacting in almost the same moment Mizore did something much more impressive. In a flash freeze the ground around the three of them shattered into jagged ice. A gentle flurry of snowflakes hung in the air around them, as the wintery landscape seemed to freeze Kotsubo into a shocked state. Slowly raising her ice clad hand, the snow girl methodically closed her bladed fingers around Kotsubo's tentacle attached to her.
"Let go.." Mizore commanded, her voice seemingly calm and dispassionate. However, her eyes flashed as though promising the pain of shattered, frozen nerves. The appendage had begun to change colors into a chilled blue when when the tentacles eased up on their hold. Kotsubo's face was pale, his eyes flashing between Naruto and Mizore.
The blond didn't give him a chance to think anything new and sneaky, as soon as the other tentacle dropped away from Mizore he decided to eliminate the threat. Taking his hand off of his friend's elbow he moved it to join the other locking onto Kotsubo's foul limb. Twisting his entire body the ice around his feet shattered, and with a violent yank he pulled the gym teacher off of his feet. Turning and tensing the muscles of his core, Kotsubo flew over his head and like the crack of a whip slammed into the ground. With a disgusted flick of his wrist Naruto released the limp tentacle, dusted off his hands. Turning away from the creep laying in a shattered crater of ice and rock, he smiled at his shy friend.
"Wow Mizore that was awesome, you're really strong!" He gushed, not really noticing the faint smile that tugged on the corners of her lips and the dusting of red in her cheeks. "I could really use someone I can trust, do you wanna join my club?"

(Author Notes) Alright finally getting Mizore more involved in the story. Manga wise she isn't supposed to show up for quite a few more chapters. Last chapter I asked you guys to help me with kitsune weakness, most of the stuff mentioned I already knew about. The rest of the things you guys mentioned were neat but not something I can work with, thanks anyway
I would like something else from you guys. I would like idea's for Student Police members, if I use them I'll give you a shout out in the author notes. I would like Names, monster forms, a quick description of their appearance and personality. Warning, if you send me a review with a Student Police member do not get attached to them. There is a high possibility that I will be killing off unimportant members of Naruto's new club. In the manga mortality rates of tertiary characters shot up, and I suspect that will happen with my story as well.
