I make no money from this at all. I promise to always put them back when I am done playing. I have a Beta now! WmGeorge has kindly fixed all of my mistakes.
Tony knew the court case was coming up, it had been marked on the calendar for months. About the same amount of time Abby had been whining and complaining about having to go to court.
She hated court with a passion, it was the only part of her job that she found distasteful. She always had to psyche herself up into going and especially into wearing her "court suit."
He had been listening to her ranting and whining for years. But he thought that he had finally found a solution to at least part of her problem.
Tony walked into her domain or "labby' as she likes to call it, carrying a large box with two hands. He set the box on her desk, told her to take a look and then come up to the bullpen and let him know what she thinks. She huffed and frowned at him as she put her ugly court suit back.
Half an hour later she came into the bullpen with a happy expression on her face and a relaxed body as she turned a complete circle in front of his desk.
"Tony! I can't believe it, it's beautiful," Abby squealed with joy.
"More than that Abby, it's you." Tony walked toward her. "So tell me Miss Scuito do you like the silk lining of your new suit?"
She opened her jacket to show off the little skeletons dressed in open flowing robes, each one waving a gavel in the air.
"Looks nice Abs." Gibbs has returned with a fresh cup of coffee. She spun for him so he could take in her whole appearance.
She wore a charcoal grey suit jacket with a skirt just long enough for court, paired with an ivory silk blouse and a grey silk scarf that she'd knotted tastefully so it covers her beautiful web tattoo. She wiggled one foot to show off her new black, four-inch heels.
Vance gaped when he walked into the bullpen. "Miss Scuito. You look very professional. Your escort is here to take you to court."
"Thank you director" She looked at Tony and smiled. "Thanks Tony." She stepped into the elevator with her escort, and waved as the door closed.
"Agent DiNozzo that suit it's a Ermenegildo Zegna if I'm not mistaken. You have one just like it.
"That's right I do. I had it made for her. I got a good deal."
"Aren't those suits made to order and tailored to fit?" McGee asked.
"Yes."
"So how did you manage it?"
Tony just grinned.
"He broke into her apartment and stole some clothes for a comparison." Gibbs said. "So how much was it? I'll pay half of the cost."
"No cost, it was quid pro quo. I did a little detective work for the firm and they made the suit for me. It was easy."
Gibbs smirked at Vance and McGee. "What? I didn't hire him for his smile you know."
Vance raised an eyebrow at DiNozzo. "What did you get out of it Tony?"
"Well, it's not what I got out of it Director Vance it's what we got out of it. Never having to hear Abby rant about her court clothes again. I think that more than makes up for the few nights sleep that I missed out on. Don't you agree?"
"God yes." McGee mumbled, making both Vance and Gibbs smile.
