Chapter 6

Sakura was sitting on top of the roof gazing at the stars. It had stopped raining hours ago. She decided to let the others sleep in since they had just returned, she figured that they didn't get much rest from all that traveling. Plus, it's not like she slept much anyway. She suddenly felt someone's chakra next to her. She looked up and saw Sai hovering over her.

"Sai."

"Ugly."

"Why are you here?" Sakura asked.

"Why are you still up? Your shift was over two hours ago."

"Not tired."

"Well, you need to rest. We have a long day ahead of us, tomorrow. We can't have you slowing us down because you didn't get any sleep."

"… You're a pain in the ass, you know that?"

"I am when I need to be."

Sai held out his hand. The pinkette glared for a moment, then sighed in defeat and took his hand. Sai helped her up and led her inside; he grabbed a blanket and sat next to the nearest window. He knew that Sakura liked sleeping next to windows; she loved looking out the window and admire the scenery. Sai smiled at Sakura and patted his lap. The pinkette gave him a strange look as if he had hit his head or something.

"You sleep better with one of us next to you." Sai explained. Sakura sighed, she knew he was right. Shikamaru, Sai, Kiba, Kakashi and Tsunade were the only ones who she can make her feel comfortable and safe. As for Ino... Well, although she does feel the same way about Ino, but she would never be able to get any sleep with her screaming in her ear every five seconds. (She talks in her sleep.) Sakura laid her head on Sai's lap and stared out the window while Sai stroked her hair. The pinkette's eyes began to droop and she yawned. 'Maybe I should take a nap.' She thought.

Sai chuckled. "I think it's time for you to rest. I'll take over from here."

"Wake me up if you need anything or get tired."

"No need. I've had plenty of rest. Plus, it's only for three hours."

"Alright then, goodnight."

"Night, Ugly."

Sasuke was the first one to wake up. He glanced around and saw that it was already morning. He got up and got ready to head down to the lake to bathe, until a voice stopped him.

"You're up early." Sasuke turned around and spotted Sai sitting near a window with Sakura laying on his lap, sleeping. There was a strange feeling inside him, was he jealous? 'Impossible. I, Uchiha Sasuke do not get jealous.' Still, he couldn't help that urge of wanting to beat the crap out of Sai for getting all cozy with Sakura. 'Tch. Why should I care? It's not like she means anything to me. She's just a teammate, that's all.'

"Where are you going?" Sai questioned

"To the lake."

"Before you go, I need to take a leek. Can you watch over things until I come back?"

"Hn."

"Use real words, Uchiha."

"Just hurry up and go."

Sai gently laid Sakura's head on the floor, got up and went outside to do his business. Sasuke sighed and glanced at the pinkette, she looked like an angel. The raven noticed a tiny leaf in her head and went to remove it. He reached out and felt someone grab his wrist and before he knew it, he was roughly pinned on the floor face first with his hand behind his back. He glanced up and saw Sakura sitting on top of him, wide awake.

"What are you doing, Uchiha?" Sakura asked. Slightly annoyed.

"I saw something on your hair and went to remove it."

"Where's Sai?"

"He went to use the restroom. Told me to watch over things until he returns."

Sakura got off Sasuke and began packing her things. Sasuke just stared at her back wondering why she's so different now. 'Did something happen to her while Naruto and I were gone?' He could understand why she was so cold towards him but he wondered why she was being cold to Naruto too. Well, she wasn't that cold towards Naruto but he could tell she was being distant with him. Her smiles were obviously fake. He was pretty sure Naruto noticed it as well.

Sai came in and noticed that Sakura was awake. He also noticed Sasuke staring at Sakura, it seems like the raven was in deep thought. Deciding to ignore it, he went up to the pinkette and gave her a piece of beef jerky. The pinkette looked up and smiled.

"Morning, Ugly. Did you have a nice sleep?"

"Morning and yes I did. Thank you."

"You're welcome and you really shouldn't talk with your mouth full. It's not lady-like."

Sakura simply rolled her eyes and continued eating her jerky. Sai chuckled and decided to wake the others up. Everyone was wide awake, well, except for Naruto of course, Sai remembered that Naruto was a deep sleeper, he could basically sleep through anything. He remembered Kakashi telling him stories about their genin years and different ways of how he would wake Naruto up. The raven put both of his pointer and middle fingers together and said;

"One Thousand Years of Death."

There was a short pause... Then all of a sudden the blonde jumped up in the air and screamed. Everyone rolled their eyes and shook their heads. The blonde glared at Sai, who was smiling "innocently" at Naruto. Naruto was getting ready the pounce on the raven, until Sakura intervened.

"Naruto, stop."

"Eh?" Naruto blinked and looked around. He saw everyone eating and packing their belongings.

"Get up and get ready. We're leaving in ten minutes."

"A-alright, Sakura-chan."

They stopped at a small village about an hour away from Yugakure no Sato. They went inside a clothing store filled with regular civilian clothes. Sai roamed around the shop and picked up a few clothing. After Sakura was finished talking to one of the employees, she walked up to the others.

"Alright, everyone. I want you all to choose a few things from here and change out of your ninja gear."

"Why?" Naruto asked.

"Ask questions later. Just change."

"O-okay. Sakura-chan…"

A few minutes later everyone stepped out of their fitting rooms in their regular clothes. Suigetsu wore a purple short sleeved shirt, white shorts, a black belt and black shoes. Juugo wore a red shirt, grey pants and white shoes. Naruto had on a black hoodie, orange pants and black shoes. Sasuke work a white high collared short sleeved top, black wristbands, black fitted pants, and black shoes. Karin wore a short (very short) white skirt, a black tank top, purple cardigan and black knee high boots. Everyone rolled their eyes when the redhead tried to gain Sasuke's attention by acting like a super model.

"Are we all set?" Said a voice that came from behind.

They all turned and saw a completely different looking Sakura and Sai. Sai's hair was light brown and his eyes were dark green. He wore a midnight blue V neck mid-sleeved top, black pants, and black shoes. Sakura had light blue-grey eyes, white hair, which was in a low braid and placed on the side. She wore a red coat, cream colored dress with small black stripes, black knee high socks, light brown boots and satchel.

"S-Sakura-chan?! Is that you?! Why do you and Sai look different?"

"We're going undercover, Naruto. Not much people, (actually no one really) has pink hair like me. And I suggest you two *points at Naruto and Sasuke* do the same."

"Eh? Why?"

The pinkette looked at the blonde weirdly. "You're joking, right?" The blonde shook his head. Sakura sighed. 'Honestly... How did he become a ninja again?'

"Naruto, you understand that you two basically stopped the war and saved the nation? We're the next generation sanin and the legendary team 7. The whole world knows us..."

Naruto grinned. "Of course they would know me! I'm the future hokage and I'm totally awesome!"

Sakura rolled her eyes. "Right... Now hurry up and change your appearance."

"Teme, we should switch hair color and eye color! You could have blonde hair and I could have black hair!"

"Whatever, Dobe."

Naruto had black hair and hazel eyes. Sasuke had blonde hair and dark blue eyes. Karin blushed at Sasuke's new appearance. The redhead squealed. "OH MY GOSH! Sasuke-kun has blonde hair! He looks super hot!" Sakura rolled her eyes. 'I can't believe I was like that back when I was a genin. Just the mere thought makes me cringe.'

"One more thing..." Sakura walked up to the blonde and touched his cheek. Naruto blushed. After all these years he still has a huge crush on the pinkette. Cold eyes were watching their every move. For some reason watching those two irritated the Uchiha and seeing the blonde's obvious blush made it even more irritating. 'Tch, I don't care.' Sai watched everyone's reaction and found it quite amusing. Naruto's obvious blush indicated that he was still fond of the pinkette. The Uchiha giving them a cold glare. 'Is this jealousy I'm seeing?' The raven nearly snorted at the thought. That Karin girl notices Sasuke's jealously over the blond and the pinkette. She starts giving Sakura death glares and starts muttering curse words towards the pinkette. Sai could hear bits of her curses. "... Gaining Sasuke-kun's attention... Pink haired bitch... Attention whore..." Suigetsu snickered at the redhead and Juugo quietly observed the situation. Sai chuckled. 'Emotions are quite interesting.'

"These whisker marks are a dead giveaway. We need to cover them up." Sakura brings out her makeup and starts covering up the marks. Naruto doesnt really like having makeup on his face but if it's for the mission, then it's no problem. After Sakura was done, her and Sai go to the cash register to pay. Naruto observes himself in the mirror, it was weird seeing himself without his markings. His this thoughts were interrupted by Suigetsu snickering.

"What's so funny?"

"GAAAAAYYYYY!" Suigetsu shouted.

"Why you little..." Naruto starts chasing Suigetsu around. Everyone sweat dropped.

"Alright everyone. Let's move out." Sai said.

They were almost there. As they were nearing the gates Sakura suddenly latched onto Sai's arm and leaned her head onto his shoulder. Sasuke got extremely irritated and wanted beat the crap out of Sai. 'Who does this guy think he is? He can't touch what's mine. Wait, what? Since when was Sakura mine? Che. Whatever, I don't care...' Soon enough the were at the front gates. The gaurds stopped them and ask questions.

"What's you business here?"

"We're just here for a little vacation."

"And how long are you staying?"

"About a week."

"Enjoy your stay!"

They walked through the town and decided to rent out a room at the nearest hotel. Unknown to them, there were shadows in the tree watching their every move. They were eyeing a certain female. The one with pretty white hair and stunning light blue-grey eyes.

"What do you think?" The mysterious man said.

A mysterious woman chuckled. "She's perfect."

Hahaha IN YOUR FACE SASUKE UCHIHA! It's fun having him be all jealous and whatnot. Lol! Poor Naruto and Sai receiving Sasukes's death glares. (Although Sai did it on purpose to get him riled up.) Whoo... Chapter six is finished! I didn't finish editing this chapter but if you see any mistakes, please do tell. I'll look through the chapter and fix any mistakes whenever I have free time.
