Hello! A short oneshot about The Doctor's TARDIS
Disclaimer: Doctor Who belongs to the BBC.
The TARDIS, The Doctor's TARDIS. Sexy, his faithful companion in everything he does.
Well, not everything.
The TARDIS watches over him and his companion, sometimes for days on end, laughing, sobbing, and getting angry, right alongside her Doctor.
But sometimes they leave, The Doctor and his companion. Sometimes they go somewhere to explore or to adventure. Or sometimes the Companion has gone to bed and the Doctor is tinkering, deep in thought. What does she do then?
Even type 40 TARDIS's need entertainment.
But she can see through time and space. She can see inside heads, plant thoughts in people's minds. Of course, she's not supposed to tamper, which is all right with her. She loves to watch history, not change it.
Once, when the Doctor and Donna were on Midnight, she watched the Inauguration of every single President of the United States. Then she got bored and watched the debut production of Chicago, but you get the point.
But sometimes she can't resist visiting, and helping, her children.
She watched the Metacrisis Doctor and Rose Tyler exchange vows. She watched with pride as The Ponds' son's school play when he was 10. She gave a restless Melody Pond sweet dreas. She pushed Sarah Jane Smith towards one of the biggest stories of her career. She gave Captain Jack a lonely young man's phone number. She helped the Brigadier quiet he screaming daughter. She even once visited Ace, giving her the answer to particularly tough chemistry equation.
She even saw Donna Noble. She could never enter her mind, for it would destroy her, but The TARDIS watched her, just in day-to-day life, wishing that Donna remembered.
It always pains her that she can never visit the Time Lords, but they were locked away long ago, where even the TARDIS can't go.
She loves her Doctor, and she loves watching him.
But even TARDIS's get bored.
