It had been several months since Izunas death and Irene noticed the changes taken place since. Madara was more remote from everyone and stayed in his office most of the time. Irene was now 7 months pregnant and was now waddling through the compound. Peeking into Madara office she noticed him holding his head in his hand. "What's wrong?" He asked never looking up. "No ones seen you in weeks I came to make sure you was still alive." she said walking over. Sitting in front of him on his desk she smiles softly when he laid his head on her growing stomach. They sat there for hours, Madara on Irene's stomach thinking and Irene just sitting there holding him gently while humming an old lullaby that her mother use to sing to her. After finishing the song Madara looked up at her. "What song was that?" He asked. "Hoshi No Rarabai" she said. "Lullaby from the stars huh? Its beautiful." He said as he felt her stomach move. "I think someone else enjoyed it too." He continued smirking. Irene smiles softly as he placed a hand on her stomach and rubbed it.
"I'm going to do it." He said causing Irene to look at him. "Do what?" She asked a bit worried. "I'm going to build a place where our child will grow up without war. Hashirama and I had this dream when we was younger, to build a village where both clans can live peacefully. I'm going to talk to him about finally ending this rivalry." He told her then looked up. "What do you think?" He asked. Irene continued to smile. "I think it's a wonderful idea Madara." She said pulling him into a kiss. Yes, he loved Irene's kisses, He's addicted to them. Pulling back Irene couldn't help but to giggle at Madara pouting expression. "I love you Madara." She said holding him close. "I love you to Irene." He muttered causing her to giggle again. He was never good at telling her he loved her, he rather show her, but since Irene became pregnant that was on a minimum.
"Wait miss, you can't go in there!" Someone yelled catch boths attention as a young woman came running in with a small boy behind her and a bigger bloody bundle in her arms. "Lady Irene…" was all she said before Irene recognized the boy. "Daisuke...sumiko…" Irene whispered jumping off the desk and to the bundle. Laing in the midst of several towels and blankets laid a bloody girl with that looked like whip marks up and down her body. "What happened?" Irene demanded. Daisuke's nanny, Sakura, looked up at her worried. "Daisuke wouldn't listen to master Takashi, Sumiko protected him when he went to strick Daisuke, then for insubordince he whipped her for hours. When I found her she was like this, I grabbed them both and ran, this was the only place I could think of to bring them." She cried. "It's ok Sakura." Irene said as a medic came running it. "Take care of the young girl, but her in Izunas room." Madara ordered frowning. Looking at Irene he sighed as she was trying to comfort her brother. Heading to the door Madara grabbed his fan that rested against the wall. "Where are you going." Irene asked frowning. "Just going to take care of a little pest problem." He told her before leaving. "Madara!" Irene yelled out but it was to late as the man was already gone. Letting one of the maid deal with Daisuke Irene ran out to the awaiting carriage that brought the 3 to the compound. "Take me home." She order as she climbed in. She knew Madara and the elders would yell at her for leaving the compound but she had to deal with her father, not Madara.
A half hour later Irene ran into the main house as everyone stared. Running into her father's office she managed to stop Madara from beheading the man tied to the chair. "Irene what are you doing here?" Madara demanded frowning. "Madara stop, this is for my clan to deal with, if you do who knows what could happen." Irene plead to him. Frowning Madara backed away from the other male as the elders walked in. "What is going on in here?" The female asked looking around before her eyes landed on Irene. "Irene dear, is that you?" She asked. "Yes lady Kaiya." Irene said to the woman. "What's going on here?" She asked eyeing Madara. "Sumiko and Daisuke are at the Uchiha compound, Sumiko is luck to be alive right now with how much blood she's lost. She has whip marks all over her body." Madara said. "Seems like your leader here has a worst temper than me to whip his children for no means." He continued. The elders look over at Takashi who was trying to get free. "We thank you for your concern Madara, we'll make sure he's dealt with properly." Kaiya said frowning. "Sumiko and Daisuke will stay with us for now on." Madara said causing Irene to look up at him. "Very well, I believe that would be the best." Kaiya said. Nodding Madara moved and picked Irene up surprising her as she wrapped her arms around him as he walked out of the room and back to the Uchiha compound.
Returning to the compound Madara took Irene to their room and laid her on the bed. Irene looked up at him. "Madara…." She whispered looking up at him as he left the room. Sighing Irene stood and walked outside sighing. It was dark now and the stars twinkled from their spot up in the sky. "Oh Izuna, what am I to do with him?" She asked looking up at the dark sky. Sitting on the porch she gently rubbed her stomach. From what the medic said her baby was going to be born close to Madara birthday. Smiling she hoped for it to be true, maybe he'll be happy with that. Leaning back against a support post Irene smiled as Madara walked over and laid down resting his head in her lap.
"Perhaps I can reach you, even though you're far away,
I send you this message with all my heart.
Hope is certainly a compass that points to love.
Sleep, sleep gently, for tomorrow is a continent of dreams.
Last night you were scared of loneliness.
The telepathy in your heart called my name.
It's not even a miracle that in the future our hearts will be energy.
Sleep, sleep gently, forget your sorrow.
The years sink into the sea like the setting sun.
I'll jump across the starry sky to collect you.
I'll jump across the starry sky to collect you"
Ryia looked down at Madara after finishing her song to find him peacefully asleep. Smiling she continued to gently stroke his hair. 'Its been awhile since I saw him this peaceful.' She thought looking up at the sky thinking.
"Tell me Irene, do you like it here?" He asked suddenly causing the woman to look down. "At first no, but, this place has grown on me, I finally feel like this is where I belong. So to answer your question, yes, I do like it here." She said smiling down at him. "Good, I'm glad." He said softly looking up at her. "Your hairs growing out." He commented reaching up and taking a few strands in his hand. "Yea, I was thinking about cutting it again." She said watching him. "Don't, I like you better with long hair." He said looking at her. Irene watched him. She had cut her hair shortly after the wedding. When interrogated about it by Madara she simply told him that she did it leave her past self behind. Madara had left it at that. It was obviously important for her to do this so why not let her? Smiling down at him she nods. "I'll let it grow out then." She agreed. Sighing Madara got up. "Come, its getting late and you shouldn't be outside in the cold." He said offering her his it Irene stood and froze as a sharp pain shot up through her. Gasping Irene leaned back onto the support post. "Irene, what's wrong?" Madara asked frowning. "I'm fine,I'm fine, I think I just got up to fast." She said laying her free hand on her stomach. Madara looked at her as she gently rubbed her stomach. In one swoop Madara picked Irene up causing her to gasp and wrapped her arms around his neck. Taking the opportunity Madara leaned down and kissed her. Irene froze before she closed her eyes and kissed back as Madara carried her into the bedroom.
Irene awoke the next morning to find Madara arms around her. Smiling softly to herself she looked up at the man. In sleep he resembled that of a dark angel. Irene just watched him as he slept somehow fascinated with him. Sure he looked like he could kill an army with one look but to Irene he was nothing but an angel, one that would always protect her from the cruel realities of the world. Before she could move Irene blinks as suddenly she was on her back and Madara was above her. "Hello there." She said simply as Madara looked down at her. "Hello" he said and leaned down and kissed her. He hated to admit it but he truly loved the woman below him. Since Izunas death she was the only one he talked to. While he was becoming distant from the other clan member he opened up more to her. Honestly for the first few months after he dear younger brothers death Madara went numb. It wasn't until Irene stormed into his office and slapped him that he realized what happened. The tears streaming down her face broke something inside him that day. Was he the cause of those tears? Was he so numb that he didn't realize Irene was worried about him?. He shook his head clearing those thoughts out of his mind. No matter how much he wished he could never change the past. Getting up Madara sat on the edge of the bed and hung his head. No matter how much he hated the Senju he had to agree to the village, he wanted his family to be safe, to never seen Irene face covered in tears again."Madara?" Irene asked a bit confused at his actions. "Get dressed, I want you to meet someone with me." He said then stood up and disappeared into the bathroom. Irene sat there and sighed placing a hand on her stomach. "Your daddy's impossible to understand sometimes." She whispered getting up and waddling over to her closet.
A while later Madara sat Irene down outside the Senju compound. Inside the guards were staring at them waiting for the Uchiha leader to attack. "Madara, what can I do for you old friend" a voice rang out causing Irene to shift her attention. Walking towards them a long brown haired man grinned like everything was a joke to him. "I told you not to call me that Hashirama." Madara growled. Hashirama, yes, he was the one that took care of her when she was kidnapped. "Anyway, what can I do for you today Madara?" Hashirama asked smiling as they walked towards his office. "Well, after a lot of thinking I was wondering if you wanted to form that village." Madara said looking at him. Hashirama stopped and stared at Madara. "Of course I still want to form the village, but what changed your mind?" He asked before he looked over at the woman that had followed them. "This is my wife, your idiot brother kidnapped her before remember?" Madara said growling the last part. "Oh...right…" Hashirama sweat dropped remembering that day. Looking back at the woman he noted how she was the perfect wife for Madara. "I'm still terribly sorry about that day." He apologized. "Don't worry about it, it's not like you could control what he was doing." Irene said softly. Hashirama smiled and lead them to his office. Irene sat on the couch after ordered to rest by both men as they started the planning for the new village.
