A/N: I'm dreading writing this because once I do, it means this story is officially over. This chapter won't have dialogue and will be really short. It's basically just telling you what happened in a diary entry since I left off which was seven years ago. Basically, this means that this entire story was written as a diary passage in Ally's book. I will update twice more after this. The first time will be to tell you the plot of my new story. The second time will be to tell you when the first chapter is up. Anyways, how was everybody's Christmas? Mine was AMAZING! Well here it is…the epilogue of Too Deep.
Disclaimer: You should all know by now
Chapter 22
Ally POV
Dear Diary,
It's been five years since I last wrote in you. As far as you know, I'm still a 17 year old girl. Well now I am 24 years old. You are probably wondering what happened to everyone. I will tell you in a nutshell. Dez and Trish went from being boyfriend/girlfriend to husband/wife. Trish is pregnant with twins (one boy and one girl) and should be having them any day now. Austin and I are married also and are planning on starting a family of our own soon. Austin is the most amazing person in the world and I love him more than words can explain.
Speaking of family, my dad got out of rehab when I was 19. It took time but I forgave him for all he did and he is now a big part of my life. He bought a house a couple blocks away from me and Austin's house. We see each other on a regular basis and he has been sober for almost five years now. We still have the occasional conflict but other than that, we are closer than ever.
Dallas ended up marrying Cassidy and we are all friends now (of course not as close as team Ally is). We lost track of the other populars but last we checked they were doing okay.
Austin and I became an overnight internet sensation and now we travel the world together touring. I'm not suicidal anymore. I learned the hard way not to make permanent decisions on temporary emotions. If only someone had told me that when I was 16. Oh well…
I guess what I'm trying to say is that things do get better. They sure as hell did for me. I may not be perfect or have a body like the girls in the Victoria's Secret catalog but I have people who love and care about me. I have all I could ever ask for. And it feels pretty damn good.
A/N: That's it! I hope you enjoyed the ending. I decided to make it a happily ever after kind of thing. I also included advice that everyone reading this should take. If you or a loved one suffers from depression, don't hesitate to get help because you're not alone. I also want to include a quote that an author put at the end of her fan fic that was a huge inspiration to this story. I think she might've deleted the story though…I'm not sure. Since I can't find the story it came from, I can't give credit to the author so sorry whoever wrote this! I think this also applies to this story quite well. "Love was a four letter word that could bring pain, loss, and sorrow. But it also brought friendship and companionship. It could mean anything, depending on the person thinking and feeling it. Don't ever underestimate the power of love. It could be a life or death situation, and given the emotions that could be at play, it may or may not end in a fairytale happy ending, but everything ends, eventually, and then starts with a new beginning." Luckily, in this story, it had a happy ending. It would mean the world to me if I could get a review from most of the people who followed this story so I can get a feel for how good or bad I did on my first story. Well that's it. I hope you fell in love with the characters like I did. Have a great rest of the day/night.
