Hello strangers! Despite it being almost 2 years since the last update (so sorry!), I have finally completed this fic. :) It's always a blast writing these two together, and I love the people that come along with it. I can't thank you guys, the awesome Mirandy community, enough! This chapter will be long, and get pretty steamy at the end, so prepare yourselves ;)

Leaning on her balcony, Andrea smiled as she looked at the scene before her. In the courtyard below, a small dragon was chasing after a boy, wings outstretched and dark brown eyes full of mirth. With a playful snap of his jaws, the dragon transformed into a human child, no older than 6. He tapped the other boy on the shoulder before quickly transforming back into his dragon form and bounding away over the last stubborn vestiges of snow with a snort. Peals of laughter filled the air, and the Princess watched as the two continued their play.

Warm arms embraced her from behind, and Andrea could feel the comforting grumble that came from her mate's chest at the contact.

"Hey, you," Andrea sighed, melting into the embrace.

"Hello, darling," Miranda kissed her cheek.

"How was your meeting with my father?" she started to trace nonsensical patterns on her mate's arm, listening attentively.

"Fine," Miranda rested her chin on a soft shoulder. "Since our initial meeting—the morning after I cut your hair—we have been making a lot of progress. For the past three months, the King and I have strengthened our relationship, and have continued to build the bond between our species."

"Your hard work has paid off. Look at how they play," the princess gestured to the two friends with a soft smile. "The initiative has worked."

"Mm," Miranda hummed in agreement. "It's many thanks to you as well, Andrea."

They stood in comfortable silence for a moment, before the Queen sighed. "In time, I have come to realize," she paused momentarily, before saying quietly, "your father is a good man, Andrea."

The brunette could feel her eyes well up with tears. A shaky smile spread itself across her face. Thank you, she said telepathically, not trusting her voice. She knew her love had no obligation to forgive her father's despicable actions, but the Queen had made an effort. For her.

"Come now darling," Miranda said softly in the young woman's ear. "No tears now. We have both forgiven each other."

Andrea turned in her love's arms, her breath catching like it always did whenever she first laid eyes on her Queen. "I love you," she breathed, kissing the white-haired woman. She trailed her hand down and rested it gently over the woman's heart. "I can't wait to be married to you."

"Ah, yes." Miranda smiled serenely and kissed the brunette's forehead. "I don't think I've ever seen Nigel with so much excitement."

"Just Nigel?" Andrea teased, nuzzling her love's imperfectly perfect nose. "Jocelyn has designed the most beautiful dress for me, as I'm sure she has for you."

"She has," the queen's eyes twinkled. "Just two more days, darling."

Andrea giggled and brushed a tendril of silver hair behind the other woman's ear. "Speaking of, I must go to her for some last-minute altercations."

"Do hurry Andrea," Miranda cupped her cheek. "The twins would like to spend some time with you tonight, as do I."

"Of course, my love," Andrea turned her head and kissed the Queen's palm sweetly. "I won't be but an hour." The princess gave one last loving smile, then exited her bedroom.

As Andrea strode through the castle she grew up in, she mused over their future together, brow furrowing with every new thought. Where would she live? In her father's kingdom, or with Miranda and hers? Currently, the Dragon people still resided in the mountain because their kingdom had not yet been re-established. They had accommodated to King Richard's kingdom, traveling to the castle biweekly to participate in the initiative to unite the species together. The young woman shuddered at the injustice of it. She vowed that the first thing she would do once she and Miranda were married would be to re-draw the territory lines and give the dragons a real home of their own. Resolving to sort out the issue of where she would live until after the wedding, she hastened her step and reached the room where Jocelyn had her makeshift studio.

A small blur of red hit her legs as soon as she walked in the door, and she giggled when she picked the little girl up.

"Andy!" Mia threw her arms around the brunette's neck.

"Hi Mia!" Andrea kissed her cheek. "I'm here for my fitting."

"It looks awesome. Mommy did such a good job on it," Mia enthused. She then leaned back and studied the princess. "Are you excited to marry Queen Miranda?"

"Yes," the brunette smiled softly. "So very excited."

Suddenly she started to squirm in Andrea's arms, shouting excitedly, "Then what are we waiting for? Come on!"

The princess laughed and let the small girl down, trailing amusedly behind her.

"Hurry!" Mia tugged at Andrea's hand.

"Mia," Jocelyn's smooth voice cut through the air, and although the young girl stopped pulling at Andrea, she still practically vibrated with excitement.

"Sorry," she mumbled.

"It's ok," Andrea winked at her, "I'm ready to see the final result too."

"It won't take long," Jocelyn smiled warmly at her. "We just need to do a last check to see if the dress fits, and pick out accessories."

Andrea's heart fluttered. "Yes, sounds good," she managed. Only two more days!

Chocolate eyes met crystal blue ones, and Andrea could hardly stop her feet from rushing her straight to Miranda's side. Before she moved though, she uttered a small spell that infused the whole area with warmth and filled the air with the scent of roses and honey. She heard the murmurs of approval from both dragons and humans, grinning at their acceptance. To appease both the humans and dragons, they had chosen to get married outside, despite the last tendrils of cold still clinging to the air. The compromise had worked — the dragons appreciated not being trapped indoors for any longer than they had to be, while the humans marveled at the beauty of their surroundings. It was a true fairytale forest wedding — something that both Miranda and Andrea had been hesitant about, but once they both saw the location, they knew it was perfect. Andrea only wished the wedding was smaller and more intimate, but since their marriage was a critical turning point in the history between the two species, she accepted the fact she was going to be married in front of hundreds of people. Thousands more would be hiding to watch from the trees, or waiting to hear all about it. At least she had done her part in the last few months, and had taken the time to individually meet everyone who was currently sitting in their seats.

Taking a deep breath to rid herself of anything besides her bride, the Princess forced herself to walk slowly and deliberately in step with the beautiful music being played by the stringed quartet.

Oh, my darling.

Andrea couldn't help the large grin that spread across her face when she heard her mate's soft utterance in her mind. She walked down the aisle, beaming at her queen. The older woman was dressed in an ivory floor-length dress that hugged her curves and flared out ever so slightly at the bottom. She was sleeveless, letting the pale skin on her arms free to Andrea's loving gaze. In her pristine white hair was a thin, silver crown.

The princess finally reached her love's side, and finally let out the breath she'd been holding as she walked. Her own dress was completely backless, and had gold lace on the bodice. Her chestnut hair was curled and pulled back in an updo, with a delicate golden tiara woven into it.

You look beautiful, Miranda.

The Dragon Queen simply took her hands in her own, and squeezed them gently. As do you, my love. They turned to the officiant, fingers still firmly intertwined. After the words, "I do," fell from each woman's lips, two bright white lights shot from their soul marks, and sealed themselves together above the women's heads before erupting into a shower of gold sparkles. The two women looked in wonder at the spectacle, before Miranda cupped her new bride's cheek, and gently turned the young face towards her own. The crowd cheered, and she leaned in to place the sweetest of kisses upon full red lips. Andrea's heart soared, and unconsciously they rose above the ground a couple of inches. The brunette giggled, then pulled away and tenderly brushed the back of her fingers against her love's cheek before turning to their audience.

Nigel was standing in the front row, putting his fingers to his mouth to give a loud whistle every so often. Cassidy and Caroline were to the right of him, encouraging his whistles by interjecting a few of their own. Jocelyn, Mia, and Anastasia were sitting to the left of Nigel, while Emily and Serena were on their left. All were clapping madly, and had large grins upon their faces. Nate and Lily were cheering in the front as well, next to Andrea's father, whose clapping more subdued but firm. His eyes glistened with pride and happiness, and Andrea gave him a special smile. She knew there would be plenty of time after the initial excitement to talk with him privately. Behind them, sat the people they would be ruling. Together. Andrea drew strength from that thought, and tilted her head to rest upon her wife's.

They all somehow made it out of the forest, and made it to the King's palace. The reception, which was open to everyone in the two kingdoms, was held outdoors in the courtyard. There was plenty of food and drink to go around, and the sounds of laughter and music filled the air. Both Queens were ushered out on the dance floor, and took turns dancing with all of their friends and family. King Richard held his daughter close, and they had a small heart-to-heart where they discussed the future, their kingdoms, and his total acceptance and joy for their relationship. Andrea shed a couple of tears during their dance, but her heart and soul were radiant. After he gave her a kiss on her forehead, she found herself swept into Nigel's arms, then Lily's, Nate's, and then Caroline and Cassidy's. She couldn't remember a time when she felt so at peace and full of the love she was receiving from everyone important in her life. Even Emily had indulged in a (albeit) short dance with her.

Throughout the day, Andrea and Miranda weaved among their guests, interacting vividly with them. They never left each other's side though, preferring to stay close to one another. They met thousands of people, and Andrea did her best to remember all of them. She knew there were still some folks who did not approve of their love, and what their marriage meant for the two kingdoms, but she had faith that her and Miranda's combined strength would overcome any objections.

As the night drew on, and after dinner was served and devoured, the band switched to softer songs. Andrea sat with her head resting on Miranda's shoulder, fondly watching her people sway with their significant others. A soft tug on her skirt had her looking down to the side, and she grinned when she saw an uncharacteristically shy Mia staring up at her.

"Hey there," Andrea reached down and hugged the girl.

"Hi Princess — I mean, Queen Andrea," Mia giggled, burrowing into the brunette's arms.

"Oh stop that, you," Andrea bopped her fondly on the nose. "You know you can still call me Andy."

Mia looked pleased, and then looked down at her hands. "Will you...will you dance with me?"

"Of course sweetie," the brunette gave the young girl another hug, and then stood. "I'll be back, my love," she placed a brief kiss on Miranda's lips.

Blue eyes sparkled. "Ah, I might be right behind you. I see Caroline and Cassidy making their way towards us."

Andrea chuckled. "It's about time we get on the dance floor again." Stepping in closer, she husked, "Save the last dance for me?"

Miranda's eyes darkened. "Of course, Andrea." The older woman pulled the brunette back in for another chaste kiss before letting her go with a smile.

The young queen followed her friend to the dance floor and allowed herself to get swept away by the sweet music. They danced together, with Andrea twirling Mia around every so often, making the girl laugh. After a couple songs, the girl threw her arms around Andrea's legs and whispered, "I love you."

"I love you too, Mia," Andrea crouched down and kissed her forehead.

"You're not going to leave, are you?" Mia said, her chin wobbling slightly.

"Of course not," Andrea held the little hands in her own firmly. "I'll always be here for you. No matter where Miranda and I end up, I'll always be just a call away."

Mia sniffed, looking down.

"Hey, I never break my promises," Andrea chucked her chin gently. "Here." She waved her hand, and a rose necklace appeared in her palm. "See? Whenever you need or miss me, you can rub this and I'll come or send you a message if I'm unable to physically leave."

Mia's eyes lit up in wonder, and she beamed happily to the new Queen. "Thank you, Andy," she whispered, taking the necklace reverently.

"You're welcome sweetie," Andrea grinned and brushed a stray piece of hair back from the girl's face.

"Thank you," a soft voice startled the both of them, and Andrea looked up in surprise. She immediately grinned though, once she saw it was Jocelyn. Anastasia stood by the redhead, the corners of her lips slightly tugged up as she took in the scene in front of her.

"My pleasure," Andrea smiled, standing back up. She kept a comforting hand on Mia's shoulder though.

"Truly, thank you," Jocelyn dipped her head. "It is getting late, so we shall be taking our leave soon. But Anastasia and I have come to wish you our congratulations, and give our sincere gratitude for what you have done for our kingdoms."

Andrea bowed her head in response. "I'm glad I was able to mend some of what Jacqueline has done to our histories. I can only hope to continue to progress in trying to heal our communities." She stepped forward and gave Jocelyn a hug. "Thank you for our marvelous dresses. They are beautiful beyond belief, and both Miranda and I know how much effort and hard work you put in them."

"Yes, well done," Miranda's silvery voice joined their circle, her hand finding its home on the bare skin of Andrea's back. The brunette shivered in response.

Jocelyn beamed happily, and bowed to both of them. "Thank you both. It was truly an honor."

"Congratulations," Anastasia curtsied and gave them both genuine smiles.

The Queens nodded, and smiled as they watched the small family depart. Mia turned and gave Andrea a little wave before following her mom out of the courtyard.

"That was a really special gift you gave her," Miranda nuzzled her wife's cheek. "You have such a large heart, my darling."

Andrea sighed happily. "It was no less than she deserved. She is very special to me."

Miranda pressed a kiss to her love's forehead. "Dance with me, and then we can leave?"

"Mmm, yes," Andrea smiled, exhaustion from the day's events suddenly hitting her.

The older woman led her bride on the dance floor, and the music switched to a sweet 3/4 tempo. The violins and cello blended effortlessly together, and Miranda spun Andrea around before placing her hand on a thin waist. The brunette wrapped her hands around her love's neck, and gave her an affectionate peck on the lips. She rested her head on an elegant collarbone, marveling at her love's timeless beauty. Shutting her eyes, she felt the contentment spark from both of their souls and nuzzled the soft skin on Miranda's neck. After a while, they silently agreed that their dance was done, and moved toward the exit. By this point, not many guests were left. The few that remained seemed happy to keep swaying in their significant other's arms, and both women smiled when they saw that both humans and dragon people seemed to be sharing the space without conflict.

Outside of the castle walls, Miranda transformed and let Andrea climb on her back. Déjà vu struck both of them, and they laughed at their private joke about Miranda's initial treatment of Andrea's fear of flying. Without hesitation or question, Andrea trusted Miranda to take them wherever she wanted. The dragon Queen purred in contentment at her love's unwavering faith in her. She climbed high in the sky, inhaling the crisp night air deeply through her flaring nostrils. Long fingers scratched gently at the scales on her neck, and she preened her neck.

They flew in peaceful silence for a while, before spiraling down to their destination. When she heard the waterfall, Andrea's fingers unconsciously clenched in fear on Miranda's neck, and the dragon sent pulses of assurance and love to her bride. They landed by the fateful willow tree, and Andrea scrambled off to face her wife. As soon as Miranda transformed back to being a woman, the brunette rushed into her arms, trembling slightly.

"Darling," Miranda stroked her hair, "I do not mean to upset you. I brought you back here to show you my utter love and devotion to you. I made a grave mistake here, one I never intend to repeat again. I want this to be the place we live. The place where all humans and dragons can come for peace. Of course, both of our kingdoms will have their own homes and territories, but this will be a safe haven for all. But if this makes you too uncomfortable or you hate the idea, tell me. We can move locations, and never have to see this place again. I will do anything for you, Andrea."

Andrea remained in her love's arms, trying to process everything she was saying. When they first landed, the young Queen couldn't help the overwhelming fear and tremors that wracked her body when she was reminded of that fateful night. Yes, she knew that Miranda would never do it again, but her initial reaction took her to a place where she wasn't thinking rationally. Miranda's words helped immensely though, and Andrea tried to pull herself together. She leaned back a bit to look her love in the eyes. "Y-yes, I would like that," she tried not to stutter. "I really would," she said, firming her voice. "I was meaning to ask you about where we would live. I think this is the perfect place for us. And we can invite Nigel, Jocelyn, Mia, Anastasia, Emily, Serena, Nate, Lily...all of our closest friends to live here with us. And my father. Once he's older, of course, and he can't rule the humans on his own anymore. Of course we'll help him until he reaches that point, since I think that's my job description now," Andrea giggled, knowing she was babbling at this point, but couldn't help it. "I also want to talk about reconfiguring the dragons' territory. It's beyond time to reassess the boundary lines between our kingdoms. Do we even need any now? It's just not fair that they're stuck in the mountain when there's so many —"

With a smile, Miranda cut her rambling off with a soft kiss. "That's wonderful, my darling. I'm so glad to hear this, and agree with whomever you wish to live with us. And while I do very much," she gave her another kiss, "care about what will happen to my dragon people, I think that conversation can be had at a later time," another slow kiss, "when there aren't other...more tempting things that require my attention first." She slipped her tongue in Andrea's mouth, earning a low moan from the younger woman.

Andrea melted. "Ah, yes," she whispered. "I do suppose there are more important things that need to be taken care of now," she wrapped her arms around Miranda's neck and deepened their kiss even further. Miranda's soft fingertips were stroking her spine, and she felt the tingle throughout her entire body.

As they kissed passionately, they stumbled behind the willow tree's leaves, and found themselves once again encased in a private world of their own. Andrea felt a tendril of fear creep in, but was assuaged at the feeling of Miranda's strong arms wrapped firmly around her. The gentle nibbling on her lower lip helped a lot, too. Gently, Andrea lowered her wife to the ground and rested her head on a smooth chest, taking in the feeling of peace. With a snap of her fingers, her hair fell out of its bun in loose curls and Andrea sighed in relief at the feeling. They were finally alone, and the young woman needed a moment to compose herself after the hectic day they had.

Miranda seemed to know what she needed, and let Andrea hide her face for a while, gently stroking her soft hair. After a while, Andrea lifted her head and gave the older woman a mischievous smile. With a smoldering look, the brunette wriggled her way up her love's body and captured the thin pink lips in her own. Her hands stroked the sides of Miranda's waist while the dragon Queen's fingers entangled themselves in brown locks. As they kissed, Andrea coyly trapped Miranda's hands in her own and pushed them above her head. With a whispered Stay, Miranda found her hands unable to move. Grunting in frustration, she futilely bucked her hips.

Andrea stood up and without any pomp or circumstance, vanished her dress, crown, and undergarments. Miranda's mouth went absolutely dry at the sight of her love's envious figure. Another snap, and Miranda's dress and crown were also gone. She shivered and felt her nipples harden in the cool night air.

"Andrea," Miranda practically whined.

The young woman smirked and placed the warming charm on them again. Without a word, she straddled Miranda and brushed her lips against the soulmate mark. The white-haired woman choked, her hips bucking up and hitting Andrea's core. Both of them moaned, and Andrea smiled against the sensitive skin. She slowly descended, full lips placing gentle kisses on each patch of smooth skin she could find. She finally got to rosy nipples, and looked up at Miranda's face for permission before wrapping her lips around one and gently sucking.

"Andrea, please, let me touch you," Miranda panted, thrusting her chest up.

"Not yet," Andrea whispered, switching to the other nipple. "Trust me." She reached up to look Miranda in the eyes, hair falling down around their faces and providing an intimate bubble for them. "And trust yourself. When you feel the change, let yourself go."

And Miranda did. When Andrea reached her nether regions, she gasped at the sensation of a warm tongue bathing her clit. Her eyes flashed, and started changing. Miranda could feel her clit expanding as well, and tried to warn the younger woman, but couldn't speak through all the intense sensation. Andrea purred when she saw the appendage she was familiar with from last time, and began to gently suck on it. Grasping it firmly at the base, she swirled her tongue around the tip.

"Andrea!" Miranda gasped, trying to break the magical restraints. "Please!"

"Okay my love," Andrea murmured. "You're almost there."

She lifted her body so she was lined up with Miranda's appendage, and slowly sank down on it, biting her lip as it filled her. Miranda's eyes completely changed at this point, but this time, nothing else did. Perhaps the bond made it so. Andrea didn't care, except for the fact she was able to kiss her love without abandon. And kiss, she did. Thrusting up and down, she claimed the pink lips with her own. As she increased her speed, the air filled with moans and grunts of their combined pleasure.

"You are mine," Andrea growled down into vibrant dark eyes, before fastening her lips around Miranda's soul mark, squealing when she felt her mate do the same to her. She sucked strongly, an animalistic urge to mark this woman as her own, and quaked at the intense euphoria she was feeling. An iron hot burn of pleasure burst behind her eyes, and she felt Mirandas' orgasm as her own.

As it subsided, tears formed in her eyes and she started sobbing, collapsing onto Miranda's prone form. The older woman's eyes snapped back to a concern blue, and finding she could move her arms again, she rushed to hold her love.

"Don't leave," Andrea whimpered between sobs. "Please, don't leave me."

"No, darling," Miranda held her firmly. "Never. I swear."

Aware that her young love's feelings of pain were a result of her mistake tore the older woman apart. She knew that Andrea's small show of dominance was her way of controlling the last of the inner demons left from Jacqueline's evil spell. The dragon Queen hoped that by bringing her back here - the place where it happened - and letting Andrea have that control, it would break the last of her awful doubt and panic of being abandoned again.

Miranda rolled them over, and proceeded to make love to the young woman tenderly. She made a conscious effort to keep her eyes clear and blue, wanting Andrea to see the love and dedication she felt for her. Slowly, she controlled their lovemaking by varying their pace and changing the depth she was able to reach. With each thrust into her wife's young body, Miranda pushed feelings of pure love to the younger woman, who was staring up at her with soft, wet eyes. She kissed the young face sweetly, and brushed her lips against the soul mark, this time avoiding teeth. Their bodies froze at the same time, orgasms ripping through their minds and souls simultaneously.

When it was over, Andrea reached up and hugged Miranda to her tightly. "Thank you," she whispered.

My beautiful Queen, Miranda softly said telepathically, and Andrea's heart melted.

Yes, she said simply. And you're mine.

They laid together, Miranda softly tracing the young features with her fingertip as they recovered. Andrea's spark finally seemed to come back, and Miranda knew Jacqueline's ugly spell was finally broken. They made love throughout the night, until they both flopped on the ground, completely spent.

"I love you," Andrea whispered, placing a gentle palm over Miranda's heart.

"I love you as well," Miranda murmured back, resting her own hand upon Andrea's.

After one last kiss, the brunette whispered a spell that made the ground softer to sleep on, and they fell asleep intertwined.

In the morning, the young woman woke up to the feeling of strong arms wrapped around her waist, and she smiled blissfully with her eyes still closed. You knew she wouldn't leave.

I vowed to you Andrea. I will never leave you, unless you wish it upon me.

Never.

Andrea tightened her arms around the ones across her waist and rolled over to meet sparkling blue ones.

"Good morning, darling," Miranda leaned in and brushed her tender lips against Andrea's, ignoring any morning breath issues.

"Good morning," Andrea smiled shyly.

They laid in each other's arms, enjoying the sounds of the morning. Birds were chirping, and the waterfall's gentle sounds echoed in the distance, and this time, Andrea didn't associate it with anything except peace.

"I suppose we should get back," Andrea sighed after a while, stopping her hand from its hypnotizing path running through Miranda's soft locks.

"Yes," Miranda groaned softly. "We do have an entire kingdom, well technically two, to run."

"We'd better get started then," Andrea pecked her on the nose, and then stood up.

With a snap of Andrea's fingers, they were both clothed. After sharing one last kiss under the willow tree, Miranda transformed and Andrea climbed on her back, wrapping both arms around the Queen's neck. Plump lips pressed against the iridescent scales on her neck, and a soft check soon followed, resting on the spot that was kissed. With a gleeful roar, the massive white dragon flew towards the sun with her Queen on her back until they were nothing but a dot on the horizon.

And that's a wrap! I have a few more Mirandy stories in the works, but am taking prompts! Thank you all so so much. Please review...Until next time ~ Adrianna :)
