How Vanellope met spike

After the whole incident with Mr. Bonbon, Vanellope still wanted a pet to love. She wanted something nice but could protect her, she went to Candlehead's pet shop and adopted a devil dog named spike. Vanellope brought his cage to the throne room, but he wasn't happy, he kept snarling at her. Vanellope sprayed him with water
"Now Spike, I'm gonna train you to be a nice dog, and tough when needed. The first step is trust, I'm gonna let you out now" said Vanellope
Vanellope opened the cage and screamed when Spike jumped at her and started ripping her clothes up to shreds. The guards detained spike
"Ok, I know how to handle this" said Vanellope as she left the room
Vanellope came back in wearing a devil dog attack suit and holding a bag of dog treats
"Here's how it's gonna work spike, every time you attack me or do something wrong ill spray you, every time you do something good ill give you a dog treat" said Vanellope
Spike decided to comply and sat down. Vanellope taught him a few simple tricks but he still didn't like Vanellope enough to listen, he kept attacking her, Vanellope had enough
"That's it, I thought having a dog would be fun, but I was wrong, you're the worst dog ever" shouted Vanellope angrily
Spike felt sad and walked into his cage knowing he was going to be taken back. Before Vanellope could close the cage a big explosion was made sending them towards the throne. The person who made the explosion was Mr. Bonbon, who was thought to be dead after he fell into the cola hot springs
"Hello master, miss me, your little Choco bunny pal" said bonbon
A few guards rushed in but Bonbon blasted them into pieces. He approached Vanellope driving a small vehicle with a big gun attatched.
"Now I will kill you for eating my family" said Bonbon
"I was a glitch, I was desperate and hungry and there's not much to eat out there during winter. Can't you get over it?" Asked Vanellope scared
"Never, now prepare to have your atoms rearranged" said Bonbon
Spike got up and growled at the rabbit
"Oh, it's a dog, I'm so scared" said bonbon sarcastically
Spike growled louder an barked viciously
"Nice doggy, nice little devil doggy" said Bonbon scared
Spike grabbed Bonbon and started ripping his body parts off. He put his body in his mouth and buried him under the wreckage
"Spike, you saved me, but I thought you hated me" said Vanellope
Spike did all the tricks Vanellope taught him and licked her
"So you were paying attention, good boy" said Vanellope as she scratched his back
Vanellope opened the bag of dog treats and took a handful out
"I guess you deserve a treat, thanks for saving me" said Vanellope
Spike barked and gobbled up the treats
"Come on, lets go for a walk" said Vanellope as she put a leash on him and the 2 went outside
"Why does everything bad happen to me?" Asked Bonbon weakly
And so from that day forth, Spike and Vanellope have been best friends
