Finally, the last chapter for this story and I made it longer than the previous one. I'm spoiling you guys big time.
Scenes taken from the Predacons Rising movie do not belong to me but the copy of the movie that I referenced from for the scenes is mine.
Enjoy this last chapter.
"In order to both protect the All Spark and secure Unicron's defeat, it was necessary for me to empty the vessel's contents," Optimus informed his fellow Autobots and the once Decepticons after he was satisfied that they all had a good rest.
"Into where?" Bumblebee asked.
Optimus looked down at his chest, "The Matrix of Leadership. As such, my own spark can no longer be separated from the multitude of others within me."
"Are you telling us... that you are now one with the All Spark?" Ratchet asked, sorrow was clearly heard in his tone. No matter how hard he tried to hide it.
Smokescreen laughed, "That's what you say when someone kicks the..." the rookie stopped, realizing what their leader was telling them.
Blaster looked between Smokescreen and Optimus a couple times when he realized too, "Wh-what?"
"B-but Blaster and I just got here a couple months ago. Now you have to leave us? Can't you stay?" Jazz asked, taking a step forward. He stopped when the Prime lifted a servo.
Optimus shook his helm, "Do not return the All Spark to the Well will be to prevent future generations of new life from existing on Cybertron. My quest must be completed," he explained, gesturing to Knock Out.
Knock Out looked down at his abdomen sadly as he placed a servo on it, knowing that if he was to try for another sparkling, it'll end up without a spark as well if the All Spark wasn't back in Cybertron's core.
He felt someone take his other servo, their digits intertwining with his own. He looked over to see that the servo belonged to Starscream. He looked up at the Seeker to see that he had a sad smile, clearly knowing what the red medic was going through from just feeling it through their bond.
He then felt a servo on his shoulder and looked to his other side, seeing Thundercracker there with Skywarp beside him. He guessed that trine-members are always there for not only one another but for each others' sparkmates as well. That put his spark at ease knowing that he had a multitude of others there to help and comfort him.
"Optimus, I didn't return to save a life only to lose the one I care most about," Ratchet said, clearly sounding more upset.
Bulkhead rested a servo on the old medic's shoulder to help calm him and let him know that he is not the only one who is upset by the whole thing, "Ratchet's restored planets, he'll find a way to save you."
"We'll return to Vector Sigma, just like we did before," Arcee added quickly.
Optimus let their grievances sink in. He knew that they were going to miss him and were only thinking up solutions to help but there was no way around what had to be done. He let out a small vent, "Because the Matrix must now be relinquished with the All Spark, it can not be restored or passed down to another. But while this may very well mark the end of the Age of Primes, leadership can be earned, with or without the Matrix. And in my view, you have each acted as a Prime."
Knock Out blinked a couple times, smiling lightly after as he glanced at Starscream, "Well, I never really had the best role models."
Starscream couldn't be mad at the red mech for that comment but he shook his helm either way, "What I had done during the war, I don't deserve that title. No matter the situation."
Soundwave looked down, removing the visor from over his faceplate. He looked over at the Seeker, "But..." Starscream looked at the slender mech. "...it won't hurt anyone if we at least try and reach that kind of title," he looked down at Bumblebee who stood beside him. He smiled at the scout, "For the future of Cybertron."
Bumblebee smiled back, taking the once silent mech's servo in his, making the taller mech look away with a light blush on his faceplate.
Starscream looked away from Soundwave, thinking it over, "I guess. It'll be difficult but if its for Cybertron..." he looked at Knock Out, "...and any future generations, it can't be all that bad."
"Yea and if you do get out of line, we'll be there to put you back into your place," Skywarp added with a grin.
Thundercracker smacked the purple Seeker in the shoulder, making the small Seeker stumble a bit and begin whining about his sore shoulder now. The larger blue Seeker looked up at the Prime, "You don't have to worry about these two Prime. I've already split myself from the ways of the Decepticons back when Cybertron became uninhabitable. I'll do what I can to help restore the planet to its rightful glory."
Optimus nodded his helm to the blue Seeker before turning his back on them, having complete faith that the once Decepticons will try their best to change their ways, "As even Megatron has demonstrated on this day: every sentient being possesses the capacity for change," he said, engaging his flight capabilities.
He turned back around, "I ask only this of you, fellow Autobots...and Decepticons," he added, glancing at Soundwave, Skywarp, Thundercracker, and Starscream especially. He wasn't worried about Knock Out since he has already been with the Autobots for quite awhile now. "Keep fighting the noblest of fights."
Bumblebee stepped forward, "You can count on us to keep the peace."
Everyone nodded their helms in agreement.
Optimus was about to turn but stopped, looking back at each and every one of them, "Above all, do not lament my absence. For in my spark, I know that this is not the end, but merely a new beginning."
Optimus smiled, "Simply put, another transformation," he said then turned back around fully to face the Well a little ways away from them all. He turned on his thrusters and shot into the air, heading straight for the Well. Once he was close enough, he went up then flipped so he could dive straight down into the Well.
Once he was gone, Knock Out pulled his servo from Starscream's and took a couple steps ahead of everyone else.
They all waited patiently, expecting something to happen. When something did, the ground shook under their pedes lightly before a light shot out of the Well, then another, until a whole bunch followed and shot into the air.
A smile appeared on Knock Out's lips, knowing that those lights were the sparks of Cybertron's future generations. Either going to be created by the planet itself or going to be created by other Cybertronians. He knew now though, that when he tries for another sparkling to accommodate the one that he had lost, it'll be created with a spark this time.
The sparks continued to shoot out of the Well, up and up into the sky as they all watched. Many colours and some slightly larger than others. It was quite mesmerizing to watch.
Knock Out was about to turn to stand back by Starscream but stopped when he noticed something about the sparks farther up in the sky. They began curving to the point that they changed course and began heading back down. Heading towards them.
When the mass of sparks leveled with the ground and went straight for them, Knock Out's optics widened and he took a step back, realizing that they were directed... at him.
Starscream felt Knock Out's panic through the bond and went to grab for him but flinched back when a spark flew by, missing his servo. Soon another, then another.
Knock Out lifted up his arms in defense, thinking that he might get hit as the mass was right in front of him but nothing happened. All he felt was a small breeze as each and every one of the sparks went by.
He felt his own spark pound hard in its spark chamber and he lowered his arms in time to see the last of them fly passed him and he turned around to watch as the sparks dispersed in the sky. He had to admit, besides the sudden panic, it was a rather beautiful sight.
One thing bothered him though. Why did those sparks do that?
"Uh, Knock Out," he heard Arcee's voice and he frowned, turning to her. He saw her pointing somewhere behind him and he turned around. He jumped back slightly at the sight of a spark just floating a couple inches away from his faceplate.
It floated closer to him and he was about to take a step back but stopped himself. There was something about this spark that had his own spark...
Knock Out had a hunch but he was unsure if it was true though. He lifted a servo towards it and gently glided his digits next to it. He couldn't feel any solid form but he sure could feel warmth coming off of it.
As if to answer back, it glowed brighter and began floating downwards. Knock Out watched it suspiciously and his optics widened when it suddenly passed through his swollen stomach. He took a couple steps back in shock when he felt something unfamiliar and greatly foreign in him.
Starscream came up beside him, holding the red medic steady when he felt the shock through the bond, "Are you okay?"
Knock Out wanted to reply with a no but he couldn't bring himself to say it. He saw the others coming closer at the corner of his optic but he just couldn't focus on them. His focus was on where that spark had gone to, where that new feeling was now.
Realization hit and he placed a servo over his mouth, his legs buckling to the point that they wanted to collapse. He felt Starscream on one side and Thundercracker on the other as they helped to lower him when his legs did give way.
Starscream knelt beside him, resting a servo on his shoulder, "Knock Out, what is it?"
Knock Out let the feeling pulse and he closed his optics, not holding back the smile that spread across his lips. He lowered his helm, shaking it lightly, "I-it's the sparkling, I can feel it."
Everyone was silent.
The corner of Starscream's mouth lifted to a half smile, "...what?"
Knock Out lifted his helm to look at the Seeker, a larger smile across his lips, "I can feel the sparkling. I-I can feel the pulse of its spark," he almost choked from happiness.
Starscream looked up when he saw Ratchet rush over, scanning Knock Out's stomach multiple times. He checked over the readings and his optics widened, "He's right," he said then looked up at everyone. "The sparkling has a spark now."
Knock Out took Starscream's servo and squeezed it, not bothering to stop the tears from falling from his optics, "O-our sparkling is..."
Starscream let himself smile fully this time, reaching around the red medic to pull the shorter mech into a hug, not caring that the bots that he has been fighting for many years were there.
"Our sparkling is going to be alright," Starscream finished for Knock Out, rubbing his back when he felt his frame shake from his happy sobs. The Seeker rested his helm against the red mech's and closed his optics, lowering his helm a bit so the Autobots wouldn't see the couple tears that escaped his optics. He now didn't have to wait to be a Sire much later when he can now be one in just a couple months.
Ratchet patted Knock Out's shoulder, "I know that this is a happy event for you but..."
Knock Out raised his helm, wiping away the tears before looking at the older medic, "Wh-what is i-it?" he asked, a worried look on his faceplate.
"Since the spark went into the sparkling much later than it should, I don't know if this will effect it at all when it is delivered. I just wanted to let you know that we'll need to keep a close optic on it. Monitor it constantly for the next two months to make sure everything is alright," the older medic explained. He let himself smile a bit, "Other than that, there shouldn't be anything to worry about."
Knock Out looked down at his stomach, resting a servo on it.
Starscream nodded his helm, "Thank-you... good doctor."
Knock Out smiled again, looking up at the sky, "I know that I shouldn't be thanking for your sacrifice but if it wasn't for you Optimus, this wouldn't have happened."
Ratchet smiled, "I believe in my spark that Optimus knew that this was going to happen," he said then looked up into the sky with everyone else. "I believe its an appropriate time to thank him."
Starscream smiled, shaking his helm lightly, "Even though we never did get along..." he looked up at the sky, "Thank-you... Optimus Prime."
Knock Out took Starscream's servo, squeezing it lightly, "Two more months."
Starscream looked at Knock Out. He lifted a servo and placed it on his cheek to make the short mech look at him. He pressed his lips lightly into his, enjoying the kiss for a few seconds before pulling away with their foreheads against each other, "Two more months."
Knock Out smiled, "I love you Starscream."
Starscream blinked a couple times and glanced over to see the others looking, all of them expecting him to say it back. He glared at them before glancing away, grumbling, "I love you too."
Thundercracker snorted which caused Skywarp to begin laughing which in turn caused everyone else to burst out laughing.
Knock Out chuckled and despite Starscream's now grumpy attitude and flushed faceplate, he placed a servo behind the Seeker's neck to bring him into another kiss. Once he pulled back, he grinned, "Don't let them get to you, Herr Kommandant."
Starscream shook his helm, "I'm not a Commander of anything anymore Knock Out, the Decepticons are no more. Remember?"
Knock Out's grin grew and he lowered his helm a bit to give the Seeker a seductive look, "But you are the Commander of me, are you not?"
Starscream blinked a couple times. Once it sunk in, a devious smirk played across his features, "Am I now?"
Thundercracker rolled his optics, "Seriously guys, you got to do that now?"
Skywarp frowned, "What? What, I didn't catch it."
The blue Seeker held a servo out, "Knock Out said to Starscream that he can command him later," he said then paused, shaking his helm with a disgusted look. "I really didn't need that on my processor."
Once everyone got what he said, they all started making choking and gagging noises.
"Seriously, again with this!" Bumblebee yelled.
"First the making out, then the fragging," Wheeljack grumbled.
"What's wrong with the making out part, you and I already did it," Arcee added which caused the ones that didn't know about their relationship to look at the white wrecker.
Wheeljack ignored them though, "But that's us, we're talking about Knock Out and Screamer over there," he said, gesturing over at the two that were looking over at them.
Jazz snorted, "I still think its hot."
Blaster shook his helm, "Of course you would."
Knock Out shook his helm and looked back at Starscream. He wrapped his servos around the Seeker's neck, "I'm still glad that everything is going to be alright now."
Starscream rested his servos on the medic's sides, "Yea, until you have to deliver the sparkling."
Knock Out snorted, "Delivering a sparkling; how hard can that be."
Two Months Later
"AAAAAAAAHHHH! STARSCREAM! I'M GOING TO FRAGGING KILL YOU!"
Starscream flinched in his seat, having his servos covering his audios to drone out Knock Out's screams. It wasn't helping since he could feel the medic's pain through the bond. He wanted to close the bond so he wouldn't have to feel it but he promised that he would no longer close it.
He closed his optics, gritting his denta when he felt another wave of pain through the bond. He knew that what he was feeling was no where near the amount of pain Knock Out was in. He really wished that he could be in there beside the red mech but Ratchet had told him to stay outside in the hall.
He jumped when he felt a servo on his shoulder and looked up to see who it was.
Arcee had a guilty look, "Sorry," she said then sat down next to him. "How are you holding up?"
Starscream rubbed his upper arms, "Except for feeling Knock Out's pain, I'm splendid," he said then glanced over at the two-wheeler next to him. "I heard the news about you and the wrecker from Knock Out."
Arcee smiled, resting a servo against her chest, "Being sparkbonded... its a new feeling."
"Any plans for a sparkling?" he asked.
Arcee shrugged her shoulders, "The thought has been on my mind lately, considering you and Knock Out are having one. At the moment though, I'm just going to enjoy my life with being Wheeljack's bonded a little while longer before we think about future plans like that."
Starscream nodded his helm, "Don't leave it too long or my sparkling will grow without a playmate."
Arcee smiled, "We'll see."
They both then flinched when they heard Knock Out scream again.
"How long has this been going on now?" Arcee then asked.
Starscream clenched his denta, "Too long."
"It'll be over soon," she said. A thought came to mind and she wasn't sure if she should ask him or not. She gave in, "When did you and Knock Out get sparkbonded?"
Starscream looked at her, "What brought on that thought?"
Arcee shrugged her shoulders, "Just asking."
The Seeker glanced away, "The night we blew up the first Autobot base."
"Wow, that must have been one Pit of a night."
Starscream snorted, "You got that right."
Arcee paused, counting her digits, "So, if I do the math right, you sparked Knock Out..." she stopped, frowning, "... in the same night."
"Yea, we kind of did interface and sparkbond at the same time which in turn caused Knock Out to get sparked. Thinking that the war was finally over kind of helped in the development."
"Were you planning to get him sparked?"
Starscream frowned, "Honestly, it wasn't planned at all. We were so caught up in the moment that it didn't even register that we may have created a sparkling unintentionally."
Arcee smiled, "Well, its a good thing you did then because if you did it earlier, it wouldn't have been created, or worse."
"What could be worse than not being created?" Starscream dared to ask.
Arcee frowned, "Delivered without a spark."
Starscream glanced away. She had a point.
They both winced then when Knock Out screamed again but this time he was cut short.
Starscream's optics widened when he felt relief flood through the bond then. A smile crept up on his features and he stood to his pedes, looking to the door of the delivery room.
Arcee stood as well, "What is it?"
"The sparkling has been..." he paused, his smile faltering. A wave of panic flowed through the bond after. He frowned, "Something's wrong."
Next thing he knew, the door slid open and he was about to take a step towards it but stopped and backed up in time so he wouldn't get plowed by Ratchet rushing out. He only caught a glimpse of a small form in the medic's servos before he rushed after him.
"What's wrong?" he asked, trying to keep up.
Ratchet was too busy mumbling incoherent things to listen before he went into a different room and closed the doors behind. Starscream tried to open it but found it to be locked. He glanced up above the door, seeing what room it was.
His optics grew wide. It was an emergency room.
"Starscream," Arcee called from back over at the delivery room.
He rushed up beside her, looking into the now open doors of the delivery room. His spark pulsed hard as he took a step inside before rushing to the side of the berth that Knock Out was trying to sit up in, ignoring the puddle of energon on the floor at the foot of the berth.
"S-Starscream..." Knock Out managed to say before wincing from pain.
Starscream gently laid Knock Out back down on the berth, "Knock Out, what happened? What's wrong with the sparkling?"
Once Knock Out was laying back down on the berth, he just shook his helm, "I-I don't know. Ratchet just took it and left. I didn't even get to see it."
Starscream saw movement at the corner of his optic to see Arcee coming around to the other side of the berth. The Seeker looked back down at the red medic, frowning, "What do you think might have happened? Did Ratchet let slip what was wrong?"
Knock Out shook his helm, "No, he didn't say anything. Once it was out he..." the red mech paused. His optics widened and he placed a servo over his mouth, "Oh no."
"What? What is it?" Arcee asked before Starscream could answer.
Knock Out's optics closed, "The sparkling... w-wasn't crying," he choked.
Starscream's vents hitched.
"That could mean anything," Arcee said.
"It could mean that our sparkling is..."
"Don't Knock Out. Don't say it," Starscream said, making the only two bots in the room look at him. "She's right, it could mean anything. A simple fix. You don't need to beat yourself up over it."
Knock Out was silent, trying to hold back the theories on what happened to their sparkling from filling his processor. He grit his denta, "Wh-what if..."
Starscream stopped him with a digit against the red mech's lips, "No 'what ifs'," he said then smiled. He then proceeded to brush a thumb-digit against Knock Out's faceplate, "Everything will be fine. I have complete faith that Ratchet will be able to take care of the problem."
Knock Out closed his optics, letting out a sad vent, "And when we're given the bad news?"
Starscream let out a heavy vent, "Then we'll have to accept it, no matter how bad the news. For now, think happy thoughts. Think about future plans."
Knock Out opened his optics to look up at the ceiling, thinking up stuff as they passed his processor, "A name."
Starscream smiled, "That's a start but lets find out if its a mech or femme first before we decide that."
"Celebrate it's first creation-day," Arcee put in. "It's first steps too."
"That's good," Starscream said then looked at the red medic, seeing that his expression was becoming calmer.
Knock Out then smiled, "M-maybe we should start thinking about plans for another. So this one doesn't get lonely."
Starscream blinked a couple times, momentarily startled, "Wh-what? Really?!"
"A sibling. Good idea," Arcee said with a smirk. "That would keep you two busy for awhile."
The Seeker frowned, "Isn't one enough?"
Knock Out chuckled lightly, "It's a thought Starscream, don't need to take it seriously. I think having the one right now is good enough at the moment," his smile then faltered. "But we may end up trying for another anyway."
Starscream frowned, patting the red mech's servo lightly, "Everything will be fine."
"Don't start making funeral arrangements just yet."
They all looked to the still open door to see Ratchet standing there, wiping his servos with a rag.
"Is the sparkling...?" Knock Out began to ask as he sat up but winced from a wave of pain.
Ratchet shook his helm, shaking a digit at the younger medic as he walked in, "Yep-ep-ep, you're not getting up on your pedes anytime soon. You still need to recover from the delivery."
Knock Out laid back down with the help of Arcee while Starscream faced the older medic, "The sparkling, is it...?" he really didn't want to say it.
"Deactivated? Oh no, far from that," Ratchet said, shaking his helm.
Knock Out lifted his helm to look at the old medic, "Th-then why did you rush out of here so fast with it?"
"And why did you go into the emergency room and lock the doors behind you?" Starscream then asked.
"I always lock the doors when I enter the emergency room, prevents from others from disturbing me," he explained to the Seeker. "And the reason I went into the emergency room was because that's where the recovery chamber was moved to when we rearranged things last week. After I cleaned out her clogged vents and airways, I put her in it so she could regain her strength. Thus the reason why she wasn't crying once being delivered."
Starscream's optics widened, "H-her? She? Th-the sparkling is... is a..."
Ratchet smiled at the Seeker's shock, "Yep, you two got yourselves a healthy femme. Quite impressive since its pretty uncommon to create one."
Starscream turned his helm to Knock Out, seeing the red mech's shocked expression.
"C-can we see her?" Knock Out asked, trying to hide the fact that it sounded more pleading than anything else.
Ratchet looked at the younger medic with a critical-optic, "Not when you need to rest."
"Ratchet," Arcee said with a stern tone. "Let them. They've been through so much already, they deserve to see her."
Ratchet rolled his optics, groaning, "Fine, just give me a second to find something."
It didn't take long for the old medic to find a wheelchair for Knock Out to sit in and to be pushed around with ease. After getting the red mech to sit in it comfortably without feeling any pain, Starscream demanded that he do the job of pushing him around. No one could argue with him there.
They stopped at the doors to the emergency room and waited for Ratchet to open them before making their way inside.
Starscream followed the old medic over to the side of the room while he pushed Knock Out in the wheelchair. When Ratchet gestured to the recovery chamber against the wall, both ex-Commander and red medic looked over at it. Both of them didn't move.
From where they were, they could see a small form laying in it on its front with a blanket covering it. Their sparkling.
Ratchet rested a servo on Starscream's shoulder, "I would advise you not to disturb her, she did fall into recharge as soon as I put her in it."
Knock Out reached up to place a servo on the Seeker's, "I want to be closer."
Starscream did not hesitate as he pushed the red mech up beside the recovery chamber, looking through the glass at their sparkling. They couldn't see her faceplate because she had her helm facing away from them.
Starscream smiled once he noticed something, "She has your frame colour. Maybe even a shade lighter."
Knock Out smiled at that, resting a servo against the glass as he leaned in for a closer look, "She looks so small," he said then glanced up at the Seeker. "I blame you for that."
Starscream chuckled lightly but his frame stiffened when he saw the small frame of their sparkling stir.
Knock Out noticed the Seeker's reaction and looked back at the sparkling in time to watch her move her helm so it was facing them. The red medic smiled, "She has my audials," he cooed, finding the way she flicked them kind of adorable.
Her audials twitched to his voice and her faceplate scrunched up a bit before her optics opened up. Once they opened, she flinched slightly when seeing the two large figures before her and her optics widened further.
Starscream smiled, patting the red medic's shoulder, "And apparently she has your optics as well, except blue."
Next thing they knew, her expression quickly changed from the slight shock to extreme sadness and she began to whine as her optics welled with tears.
Knock Out frowned, turning to Ratchet, "Open it, please."
Ratchet didn't need to be told twice as he walked over to the console and pressed the button to open the recovery chamber. As soon as the glass opened, Ratchet went ahead and picked the sparkling up carefully with the blanket. He looked between the two, unsure who to give the sparkling to.
Starscream gestured to the red medic, "I think Knock Out should hold her first."
Knock Out shook his helm, "Nonsense Starscream, you should. I've already held her for eleven months straight. I think its your turn to."
Ratchet held out the sparkling to the Seeker who carefully and quickly took her from him when she started to cry. He brought her up against his chest and held her there with a servo over her lower half while his other servo held her helm. She gripped at the edge of his chest plate as she cried. He grit his denta as he held her, feeling his once dormant protocols bubble to the surface of his programming.
He wanted to fight them off, finding it ridiculous now that he had changed over the course of the war but with a sparkling there in his servos, he couldn't exactly accomplish that. He took in a steady vent, letting it out before accepting the protocols. He let his frame sag and relax before using his thumb-digit to gently rub the side of the sparkling's helm.
His other thumb-digit began rubbing her back as he started to bounce her lightly. He lowered his helm closer to her, "Shhh, its alright. Don't cry," he said softly.
Knock Out leaned back in the wheelchair, watching Starscream calm the sparkling down back to a whimper, small hiccups escaping its vocalizer. He was quite impressed that the Seeker was able to go into Sire mode so quick. Something moved on the sparkling's back from under the blanket that still covered her. He frowned, "Uh Starscream, what's on her back?"
Starscream looked at the red medic confused before looking back down at their sparkling. He gently moved the blanket from around her and what he revealed made his optics widen.
Knock Out's smile grew, "Are those what I think they are?"
Starscream nodded his helm slowly from shock, "W-wings. She has wings," he touched them lightly, watching as the tiny little white wing nubs twitched. A smile spread across his lips, "She's a Seeker. Not the same Seeker as me but still a Seeker."
"What is that supposed to mean?" Knock Out asked.
Starscream chuckled lightly, kneeling down next to him, "Seeker wings come in different sizes and thus can be arranged differently. Seeker's usually come with two sets; a larger set and a smaller set. Dreadwing was a Seeker and his sets were both pointing down. For me, both of my sets are facing up in their normal position," he explained, fluttering them slightly as part of an example and excitement. He then looked down at their sparkling still against his chest, whining slightly, "Our sparkling's larger set are pointing up but her smaller set are positioned lower on her back than mine and are facing down."
Knock Out reached to the sparkling and rubbed her helm gently, her optics looking at him as he did so. Her whining soon died down and her optics closed, she smiled and a light chirping noise emanated from her.
Starscream held her out to the red mech, "I think its your turn to hold her."
Knock Out nodded his helm and took her from the Seeker gently, a whine escaping her before she was laid against the red mech's chest where she clung onto plating and calmed down.
Knock Out rubbed the sparkling's helm, "How come her wings are so small like that compared to her own size?"
"Hmm, I'm not quite sure really, it may be because they're filled with so much sensitive wiring. But don't worry, they'll grow to their proper size for her current size," Starscream explained.
After a bit of content silence of watching the sparkling make chirping noises, Knock Out smiled, "We really need to think of a name for her."
Starscream chuckled, "Yea, we do."
Knock Out looked up at the Seeker, "Why don't you name her. I don't know how Seeker names go."
Starscream tapped his chin with a digit, "Well, I would like to but I believe you deserve naming her."
"Oh come on Starscream, just think of a simple name for her. Doesn't need to be complicated. If we end up having another sparkling, I'll name that one. How's that?"
Starscream looked over their sparkling laying against Knock Out's chest, "Okay then," he said before letting his processor buzz with many ideas. He quickly threw away the complicated choices and kept the simple ones. Looking at her was giving him some ideas but there was nothing that really stood out from the other choices.
He looked at the sparkling's white wing numbs as they twitched. They weren't an extreme bright white, not to the point where they'll hurt your optics. They were a nice, calm white. Almost like clouds floating across a clear sky.
His optics widened. That was it. It was perfect. He smiled, "How about Cloudwing."
"Cloudwing," Knock Out said, letting it roll off his glossa. "Simple, not complicated. I like it."
The sparkling, now named Cloudwing, let out a small whine and they looked down at her in time to see her optics close.
"I think its time to leave her here to rest," Ratchet said behind them.
Starscream frowned, "We can't take her?"
Ratchet shook his helm, "As much as I would like to, considering how healthy she is, I want to keep her here overnight just in case. Maybe even tomorrow night as well. Her spark did enter her frame quite late," he then pointed at the younger medic. "You, on the other hand, will have to stay here longer."
"What? Why?" Knock Out asked, whining slightly.
"You're still recovering from the delivery. It'll take you about three days, maybe four, for you to regain your strength and able to actually walk on your pedes."
Knock Out pouted, "This sucks."
Starscream chuckled, "Don't worry, if Cloudwing is let out before you, I'll make sure I take good care of her," he said, taking their sparkling carefully from the red mech's servos so he wouldn't disturb her.
Knock Out let out a vent, smiling lightly after, "I know you will," he said as he watched the Seeker lay Cloudwing back on her front in the recovery chamber, laying the blanket back over her. Before Ratchet pushed the button to close it back up, the red mech raised a digit quickly, "Wait a second."
The older medic stopped and both he and the Seeker watched as Knock Out went into his subspace and took out what looked like to be two plushies. He placed one on either side of Cloudwing and on closer inspection, one looked like Soundwave and the other... Megatron.
Starscream's optics narrowed, "What are you trying to do to her? Taint her processor? I will not have a sparkling of mine be affiliated with anything relating to Megatron," he practically spat and he went to reach for the Megatron doll but stopped when Cloudwing practically clung to it, a small squeak coming from the doll before the small Seeker settled back down to recharge.
Knock Out snorted, "Too late."
Starscream wanted to be mad but he just couldn't with how adorable Cloudwing looked as she hugged the doll. Megatron or not, he didn't want to disturb her and regret it later.
Knock Out patted Starscream's servo, "Come on, let's let her recharge."
Starscream nodded his helm and backed away as Ratchet pressed the button, the glass enclosing their little Seeker in the recovery chamber.
The ex-Commander then went around the wheelchair so he could push the red medic from behind but before he did, he noticed that Knock Out was watching Cloudwing's frame rise and fall from her recharge.
He frowned, "What is it Knock Out?"
Said mech just shook his helm, "It's nothing," he said then smiled. "Sweet dreams... our little miracle."
All characters do not belong to me, but Cloudwing does.
And there you have it, the entire story that had been flowing around in my head even before I typed up the first chapter. Funny thing is, the first scene I thought up first was the final scene.
Hope you all enjoyed it and stay tuned (don't know how long it'll take for me to start writing it) for 'It's Not Always Easy', recently changed from 'After the Miracle'. In the meantime though, I'll be working on the other story ideas that I've thought up that I really want to type up for you guys to read.
Also, at some point I'm going to put up links to drawings of Cloudwing on my profile. Don't know when though but most likely before I post 'It's Not Always Easy'
Here's the list and you can choose (I guess top three) the ones that you really want to read next and I'll do my best to try and start typing it up. I'll have beside the title if it was a new idea and/or what chapter I'm on for it right now. (I totally had a tally count for each before but I lost it... my bad.)

Summary: After the events in 'Miracle' and 'Beginning Problems'. With a sparkling to call their own, Knock Out and Starscream had learned the troubles of raising their daughter so far and believe that raising Cloudwing will get easier but it doesn't get easier when her parents are well known ex-Decepticons. It gets more "fun" when Knock Out wants another sparkling and later finds out that he's expecting again.

3. Title: Beauty Can Be The Beast (New) (Chapter 5)
Summary: What if, all this time, Knock Out had been hiding the fact that he's part sparkeater. Having to keep the monster inside by eating the sparks of the drones when no one else is around, keeping his frame well cleaned and buffed as a way to make him feel sane. Things start going down hill when he has to start eating the drone sparks more frequently as they start to lose their effect. KOxSS

8. Title: Protocol (Chapter 5)
Summary: Prime AU. Everyone knows about certain Seeker codings. The need to fly. Being great sparkling-sitters to not only their young but other's as well. 10. Title: Terrorcon'd (Chapter 2)
Summary: Prime AU. What if Starscream HAD been bitten by Terrorcon-Breakdown? Just like what happened to Airachnid. How can something like this stay hidden from the rest of the Decepticons? Later SSxKO

11. Title: N/A
Summary: I had watched Transformers Prime a year or two ago, sometime between near the end of season one and beginning of season two. Had stopped watching until I decided to watch it when it was at the beginning of season three. Became a fan then. So this is a fanfic of me collecting the Decepticons of Transformers Prime. As toys of course. I'll be adding each toy in order of when I get them but I'll change up on HOW I get them. Oh, and by the way, THEY COME TO LIFE!
Rating: T
Genre: N/A
12. Title: Unusual Predicament
Summary: A crossover between Transformers and Ironman. How Knock Out ended up in Tony Stark's garage.
Rating: T
Genre: N/A
(At the moment, this one isn't going to be worked on anytime soon. At some point I may go back to try and write it. Can't guarantee that I will though.)
13. Title: N/A
Summary: Ground bridge accident, Starscream and Knock Out get sent to the past. World War II to be exact and they have to find a way back to their time and at the same time hiding from humans. OCs will be added of course but no CanonxOC, most likely CanonxCanon and maybe OCxOC. This was one of the first ones I thought of and it needs some serious work.
Rating: T
Genre: N/A
I just realized, all of their genres are hurt/comfort, romance, and/or family.
