Hey everyone, see, I didn't lie, I am trying to work on this more! So, enjoy!

A huge gasp issued from the prone body of the floor, the entire room freezing as Rose bolted up, gasping and coughing, and Jenny fell to the floor. Jon shoved past the ginger haired woman and ran to his girl, gently cradling her in his arms as Jack fell to his knees next to Rose, checking her over with the same worried gaze Jon knew contorted her own face.

Jenny was breathing, but shallowly, her heartbeat slow and erratic. If he hadn't seen it a dozen times before, Jon would have panicked, but he knew exactly what had happened. Bad Wolf had protected Rose over everything else, taking in the power that Jenny had running in her veins and using it to stabilize Rose's condition.

The Doctor had fallen to his knees next to Jon, checking on Rose as well and not looking the slight bit worried about Jenny, even if she was technically his daughter as well. Sure, maybe it was his clone's clone, but that didn't mean much in Jon's opinion. She still shared DNA with the man and he should have been at least a little bit worried about what was happening to her. Especially when he knew that Rose cared about her.

"Is Jenny alright?" River asked, obviously more worried about her niece. Mostly because she knew that was what Rose would want.

"She'll be alright." Jon answered, though unsure if that was true. His thoughts were a mess, but he knew better than to let it show. If he showed concern, it would worry everyone else in the room and he wasn't really willing to share Jenny at the moment.

"What's going on, what does all of this mean?" The Doctor asked, still petting Rose's hair out of her face and checking her over. Jon figured he was finding the evidence of torture and wanted to know what had happened to bring Rose to such a place, but he didn't care about the Doctor. Rose was going to be fine. The Bad Wolf would keep her alive, just like always. But he didn't want Jenny to have to die again. It wasn't fair to her to have to give up her own regenerative energy to Rose so she could live. Jon loved Rose like an aunt, knew she would die to protect either him or Jenny, but he loved Jenny more. And dying was something he didn't want for her, not when he knew how much pain it took her through.

"They're using the regenerative energy of the Time Vortex to power the ship. They wired Rose up to it." River explained, checking both women at once. Jon liked River well enough, but he didn't fully trust her. There was too much River didn't say, too much she kept to herself. He understood why, but that didn't make him any less wary while she was around, especially considering the fact that she liked to show up randomly and take Jenny on extremely dangerous adventures whenever she was in danger she couldn't take care of herself.

"Why would they do that?" The red haired woman, Amy, asked, sounding horrified. Jon almost laughed at the naivety. Worse things had happened to the women in his life. He'd seen Jenny murdered before his very eyes for being what and who she was. He'd seen Rose killed just for breathing. For being alive. This was small compared to all of the things they'd gone through. The amount of times Jenny had to save Rose's life and vice versa would shock the Doctor when he found out. And Jon had a feeling he wasn't leaving Rose any time soon if this was what happened when he was gone.

"Because their ship died." Rose's soft, tired voice interrupted them, her eyes flickering open, still glowing gold. The Bad Wolf still echoed in her voice, but Jon knew it was Rose in there because her eyes automatically shifted to Jenny, who was still in his arms, sweat slicking her brow.

"That doesn't mean they can torture innocent people." The Doctor scowled, still touching Rose, who pushed into a sitting position.

"To save their people, they sacrificed one life. One life for hundreds." Rose explained, understanding in her tone. The Doctor was still angry, glaring at Rose like she'd said something blasphemous just because she understood the rule of the Greater Good. It was something she'd impressed on all of them, the whole being worth a few deaths. It was the only way they survived. It was the only way they could help save the people they needed to save.

"That is not their decision." The Doctor growled out as Rose moved out from under his careful touch, crawling over on bloodied hands and knees to check on Jenny, who still hadn't woken up.

"How is she? Bad Wolf took a lot out of her." Rose explained, pressing a shaking hand to Jenny's brow. Jon knew she was burning up, but there wasn't much they could do to fix that while on an alien spaceship. At Rose's frown, he tugged Jenny further into his lap, eyes locking on the golden brown of Bad Wolf's. "I can heal her."

"No. You've used too much energy as it is. Jenny will be fine. Jon, take her…" River started, taking control of the situation. At least, until Jenny groaned and started to push into a sitting position, her own eyes glowing gold for a moment before she was more like herself, the sweat seeming to dry up on her skin in seconds.

"I'm fine." She informed them, blinking the gold in her eyes lazily away. Jon couldn't help reaching out and pushing her hair out of her face, carefully looking her over to make sure that she wasn't lying. She did look better, color slowly returning to her face as she looked at Rose and smiled slowly at the sight of her aunt in good condition.

"You shouldn't come near me when I'm like that. You know the consequences." Rose admonished gently, pulling Jenny into her arms. Jenny let her, resting her forehead on Rose's shoulder for a moment as the two of them held one another up. It was the epitome of their relationship, if he was being honest. Rose kept Jenny going and Rose kept moving forward for Jenny's sake. They were more than just friends, they were family, truly family. Blood had nothing to do with it when the Bad Wolf was involved.

"Yes, I do." Was Jenny's only answer. She just shrugged a little, pulling back to eye River and the rest of them to make sure they were alright.

"We have to get going. If you're right, then the ship will break apart soon." The Doctor reached out for Rose, who shied away from his touch as Jenny got up. Jon helped both women to their feet, ignoring the Doctor's confused, hurt expression and keeping an arm resolutely around Jenny's waist. He didn't want her going anywhere else without him if this was going to be the outcome.

"Do we have another power source in mind?" Jenny asked, already thinking of solutions to their problems. Jon had trouble being as kind as the women around him. He knew River would blow the ship out of the sky if she was given half a chance, but she was holding back, trying to be the better women in their group. Next to Rose, River looked more like a mercenary than a saint.

"I've been trying to think of one, but there are few things that can power a ship of this magnitude. If we could get them to land, we might be able to find something, but I'm afraid they won't be so open to our help." Rose sighed. Jon glanced at the wires and his mind started whirling, coming up with different ways to get the thing to power up enough to get them to safety.

"I might have an idea."
