The creaks and groans were the only sound in the hallway as two sets of boot clad feet walked along. The air thick and soaked with tension and the smell of death. A boy and girl warily looked around, trained to look for potential dangers in unfamiliar places. Their breathing was heavy and erratic. The boy pulled out a device from his pocket to distract himself.

"I'm still not getting any signal on my phone, and the time looks weird!"

"How so?"

"It says it's 35:13, how the heck?"

"Don't worry, Tuck," the girl assured her friend, offering him a smile. A smile that slipped off as soon as her head was turned away from him. "We're probably just in the weird part of the Ghost Zone again. Danny will show up to get us home."

"What are you gonna do when he comes to save us, Sam? Kiss him?" Tucker teased, secretly loving the glare that she gave him. It made her look kind of sexy. The smack to the back of the head snapped him out of his thoughts though as she began to speak again.

"Get your head out of the gutter and help me look around this place for clues," Sam ordered, opening an old and worn out looking classroom door. The glasses clad boy nodded as he rubbed the back of his head and peeked over her shoulder into the room. The classroom looked pretty ordinary, with desks and cabinets filling the room. A podium stood in the front of the room which Sam assumed served as the teacher's desk.

"Why don't you stand guard?" Sam asked Tucker, who nodded and went to stand near the door as the Goth walked in fully. To say the room looked creepy would be an understatement, what looked like a normal cabinet before was now filled to the brim with black hair. Sam looked disgusted at the sight, quickly looking somewhere else. Symbols wrote with a dripping red substance were messily written on the blackboard. From what Sam had learned, she guessed it was Japanese; however, she had no idea how to read it.

Attached to the wall was a newsletter, again in the same symbols that adorned the blackboard. It was yellowed, proof of its age. The girl growled in annoyance and walked away from the sheet, "How can anyone figure out what the hell's going on if you can't understand anything here!" Something in the corner shined slightly, catching the attention of the irritated girl. She went over to see what it was.

The beret wearing geek chuckled softly at the outbursts of his friend, though it soon died down. Sam was being oddly positive and Tucker didn't want to ruin that, but this place didn't feel like anywhere in the Ghost Zone. There wasn't a single trace of it when he had looked out the window before. Only a dark and gloomy rainy sky had welcomed him from the outside. The thing that stuck in his head, however, was how this place reminded him of that game, Silent Hill. A town that looked normal on the outside until you got caught up in its secrets or were at the wrong place at the time. As soon as that happened, you were dragged down into its hell. That seemed like the perfect description of this place.

"Help!" a soft voice cried out, the word echoing throughout the hallway.

Tucker was immediately bolted out of his geeky thoughts as the voice slammed into him. He blinked and without thinking, ran off towards it. Sam not coming up to the forefront of his mind. He turned the corner and stopped, seeing a small girl in red crying on the ground with a hole in the floor by her. The boy crouched down, careful of the hole beside him. "Hey, are you alright?" he asked, placing a hand on her shoulder. She looked completely normal…there wasn't an aura around her at all. So either more people found a way into the Ghost Zone or he was right in suspecting that they were somewhere else entirely.

"Oh, I'm ok…"

A gasped escaped Tuck's throat as a sharp pain shot through his body.

"…but I can't say the same about you, you fucking idiot!"

A sinister laugh escaped her child-like face as Tucker watched her yank a pair a scissors out of his stomach, an open pair of scissors. Blood was pouring out of the hole that had made into his skin only to be slowed down as he put a hand over it. He staggered back slightly in shock, looking up at the now not-so-normal looking spirit with wide eyes. He quickly lost balance and fell on his butt, but unfortunately he was too close to the hole and tottered into it with a wordless scream.

He landed with a thud, his glasses slipping off and hitting the ground with a crack. The last thing he saw was a horrifically lustful look on the girl's face as she licked the blood off the weapon before everything went dark.

"Ah!"

"Hm? Something the matter, Class Rep?"

The girl blinked, looking up at the boy who had spoken. His blonde hair being illuminated slightly by the candle he was holding by a handle. "I…I felt something."

He only raised an eyebrow in question.

She glanced up at the hole they had just walked past, "It was as if I felt someone die here, or at least come close to it."

Yoshiki sighed softly and walked over to observe the scene she was so worried about. He crouched down and felt the reddened spot in the floorboards, flinching slightly when it felt wet still. He tried to hide the shudder as he wiped off the small amount of blood on his pants, "It's still wet so it should've happened recently, but according to what the ghost said it still could've been an hour ago."

He turned around but stopped at her small whimper, he sighed and rubbed the back of his neck in annoyance. "Even so, they're not here. That means they were able to get back up and move so they could've been able to patch themselves up." He couldn't help but smile a bit at the relieved and more relaxed face that appeared on Ayumi's face.

"We should be getting back to searching for Ms. Yui," Ayumi ordered, moving ahead.

Yoshiki nodded and followed after the girl. Neither noticed the cracked glasses that sat in the corner.

Danny shuddered a bit.

"Eh? Something wrong?" Seiko asked, clutching her savior's arm more tightly. The reasoning both selfless and selfish. She thought the shudder was from him being cold, but she was cold as well. So it seemed logical to get closer to try and warm each other up.

"Oh, no, I'm fine. Just…a bad vibe is all." He answered, glancing away from his too close companion. His cheeks began to redden ever-so-slightly.

"Tell me about it, Naomi and I have been getting those since we got here!"

"Hm? Naomi?"

Seiko was silent for a moment, it wouldn't hurt to talk to him about it, right? Even though they had just met, he had saved her life without a second's hesitation after all. And here she was, gripping onto his arm like he was going to be the one to drag her out of here. It upset her a little bit though, feeling as if she was betraying Naomi. Even after what just happened.

"Naomi's my best friend, we got separated after we had a fight and I kinda blacked out afterwards. The next thing I knew I was hanging from a rope…"

"I uh, didn't mean to pry."

Her smile appeared on her face once again, "Don't worry about it! I would've told you anyways. Ok, my turn!"

"What?"

"My turn to ask a question, butthead!" she grinned, teasing. "Let's see…hm…ah! Got it! Do you have a girlfriend?"

Danny's small blush intensified at the blunt question, seeming to have forgotten the dangers of this place again. "Um, ah…no…"

"Cool…" she said softly, leaning in closer.

Danny gave a nervous laugh and moved away a bit, "Guess it's my turn. Let's see…" The investigator in him came up and brought up a question he had wondered about before. "Did you take an English classes or live in any English speaking countries?"

The question confused poor Seiko a bit but she answered regardless, "Well, yeah, classes are a requirement in our schools. Though I barely passed mine."

"Then how are you speaking so fluently?"

She blinked, "Huh? But we're speaking Japanese."

Danny blinked as well, "I'm talking to you in English…"

The two just stared at each other in confusion, neither moving another inch. What was up with this school?

And so ends Chapter 3, sorry this was a bit late but I had a bit of Writer's Block. I know you can probably tell already, but my Sachiko will most likely differ from the canon one so I don't want any reviews telling me that I'm getting her character wrong. Thank you for reading and I'll hopefully see you in Chapter 4 soon. Though before that, make sure to check my account to get the link for my Twitter account. There I will be able to let you guys know the progress of this or any other story, new stories, or answer questions you might have. Thanks in advance for following!
