I just want to say that i'm trying to get back into this story and writing. Sorry that this isn't as long as the last chapters but i'm just glad to finally wright this. more from me at the bottom.

Chapter 9

- they have been living in Konohamaru for the last six years.

- the mother is a nurse at the hospital

For the past two weeks I have collected that The One is on a three man team. The team leader is none other than The Copy Cat Kakashi. The other two members are Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki. There looks to be tension between the young boys and The One. Its effecting their learning. Their team leader has been trailing all three to find out why, it looks.

The mother is currently pregnant looking to be around eight months. The father has a drinking problem. He does not care for The One.

The One Has made friends in this village. A bond it looks like with the Uzumaki along with a Shikamaru Nara and a Choji Akimichi. Another tension between a young female, Ino Yamanaka. Acts pleasant with others yet distant.

She knew she was panicking as she ran through the streets before deciding on taking the roofs to avoid people staring. They would know something was wrong just by looking at her. Blood ran down the side of her forehead and neck staining the top of her shirt while the rest of her appearance is partly wet with sweat and some kind of liquid by the looks of it. Tears spilling from her eyes mixing with the other two fluids on her.

The event that lead to this moment played over and over inside her head as her body ran to find comfort in someone knowing that Naruto wasn't home. Why wasn't he home? Where could he be at this time of night?

The moon poked out behind the few clouds that night as she choked on her breath, stumbling on her way nearly falling off the roof she was on as she remembered once again. She was just doing what she always did until her mouth opened and words spilled from them. She had been so frustrated and annoyed lately with her team mates that she wasn't thinking straight.

She had locked herself in her room since her mother went out with a few friends that night to do what ever they did. She was going to go to bed when she noticed that he was drinking again and by the looks of it a lot. She tried cleaning up the empty bottles before her mother came home, she tried reasoning with him. All for the sake of her mother but he pushed, he called her names. She snapped at him. Called him names, questioned why her mother was even with him and how he doesn't deserve to be a father to the baby. He didnt take it well, of course he didn't. He took the bottle in his hand and smashed it on her head making her fall from shock and the pain. He fell on top of her and started to choke her until she couldn't breath. She fought but not in an all out war kind of way at first. He would have some marks and bruises. No, what changed was when his hand fell onto her chest. It didn't matter if he meant to or not but panic filled her system and she made him get off of her. Once that happened she left the house in a made dash almost in blind terror.

When a large compound showed up in her view she knew where she was going and didn't mind. She's been there a few times in the last couple weeks thanks to her team mates. Making it to the right place she dropped down and banged on the front door. She didn't care if she made a scene or bothered the neighbors as the door finally opened reveling black hair, nearly black eyes and the trade mark scowl on Sasukes face.

It didn't matter how annoyed and angry he had made her lately or how on edge its felt being by him. She was so glad to see him as she flung her arms around his neck finding comfort from her team mate for the first time, from a boy that's never really liked her but cared in his own way as she let out new sobs into his shoulder.

Sasuke had been very annoyed at who ever was banging on his door seconds ago now stood in shock with Sakura clinging to him as she trembled and tried to breathe and sob at the same time sounding like she may be dying from lack of air. She smelled like alcohol and sweat and knew she was bleeding from the couple seconds he got a good look at her. Feeling the shock wear off and anger taking its place he shut the door with his foot as he heard footsteps behind him.

"Sasuke, who was at the doo- SAKURA-CHAN!" Naruto shouted in shock then repeated her name in concern seeing the blood on the side of her head and sobbing. "What happened?" He asked in general, hoping to get an answer from either of them but Sakura didn't answer.

"I don't know dobe. She needs to be cleaned up. Get the first aid kit and meet us in the living room." Sasuke instructed him and got no complaints as the dobe did so right away.

He tried getting her to move from the doorway but she was locked in place. With a small growl like sound he bent down as much as she would let him and scoped her up into his arms to carry her to the living room. Once there he sat her down and knelled in front of her since she still wasn't letting go even when he told her too.

Naruto came into the room seeing the problem he was having and having more experience with Sakura like this he softly spoke to her trying to get her attention. "Hey Sakura, its me Naruto. Can you look at me for a minute? Please Sakura-chan. Yeah thats its. It's okay Sakura-chan I promise. It's going to be okay. Sasuke-teme just wants to clean your wounds. Okay? You need to let teme go, okay?"

To Sasuke's amazement (not that he would tell anyone that) Naruto got Sakura to let him go but she quickly took hold of Naruto's hand. He held on to her shaking hands and started to tell her about his day as Sasuke worked on the cut on her head. As he was checking for anymore cuts he saw the hand print bruise showing up on her neck. Holding his tongue he knew Naruto must of seen it also from the pause he took in his talking. Next his eyes fell onto the bandage arm that was in plan view for the first time. She had always wore a jacket or long sleeve shirt and this must of been why. He wanted to know why, he hated not knowing something.

"What happened?" he wasn't sure if his question was towards the bandages or that night. He wanted to know both those answers

She started to shake her head slowly with new tears filling her eyes. "I'm so stupid. So dumb. I'm an idiot. Oh kami. I'm sorry, so sorry. Sorry.-

"Hey, Hey Sakura-chan your not -" Naruto tried to say.

-Sorry. I should of listen, I should of. I'm so stupid. I'm sorry." She cried out as she leaned into Naruto wrapping her arms around his midsection and sobbed into his chest.

Both boys were quiet as their minds made the connection to what she meant. Her father did this, he laid his hands on her again. After she begged them to wait, even knowing they shouldn't they gave into her and look what happened. It was worst then the last time. Kami! they didnt even know if this was the worst of it. She wouldn't speak of the other times he hurt her. They should of went against her begging and told someone before this happened. They should of not listened to her. She wasn't even scared for herself but for her mother and her unborn brother. They only had a few more days before those three weeks she begged for were up. Had he hurt her since then and not said anything; has she been hidding it?

In the long time they were quiet in thought Sakura slowly calmed down and fell asleep against Naruto.

"We need to tell someone." Naruto said as he gently wiped at Sakura's cheek.

"Agreed. I'll go see if Shisui is home, if not i'll get someone else. If itachi gets home in the mean time let him know." Sasuke got a nod from Naruto as he stood up and left the house.

He stared at Sakura's sleeping face on his lap and felt so many emotions swirling inside. He was angry at her father. Angry at her mother for not seeing the monster she was married to. Angry at himself and Sasuke for not stopping this sooner, for not seeing this for all the years he called her one of his best friends. Even angry at Sakura for hiding this, for letting this happen all this time. Why didnt she say anything? What was she thinking? But besides all that anger he was worried about her. What would this do to her? Would she be mad at them for finally doing what they said they do?

Despite all this going through his head, he knew he and Sasuke were doing the right thing. He wouldn't regret doing something that is saving her.

To be clear -487756 is a person receiving a letter from Fox 5 who is a spy if you remember what was happening last chapter, it needs to be secretive so if the wrong person gets a hold of it they dont really know what it means but i hope you understand it enough. this idea really helped me get things moving along and i finally got to this part in time which I've had planned for over a year.

again sorry for the short chapter but they may continue from here on out. like i said above i'm trying to get back into this and thank you everyone that has been patient with this story. if you dont understand something just email and i'll answer, if enough people are confused i'll just answer on the next update.
