Hey, guys! Bet you thought you'd never hear from me again haha. I recently re-read this story (which was thankfully not as much of a cringe fest as I thought it'd be), and I realized I never wrote a conclusive ending. I wasn't really sure what to write about, but then I read a story by Gazlover12-Canada called "Bat Grounding" (which you should definitely check out). It basically laid the framework for this short chapter. So without further ado, here's the final chapter to "Joy Riding."

Recognized. Robin, B-01.

Robin entered the main lobby of Mount Justice and breathed a sigh of relief. It had been a week since what he had dubbed "The Incident," and those few days felt like an eternity to Robin. He was glad to finally be back with his Team.

Today was Sunday, though, and most of the members on the Team were at home spending time with their families (or, in the case of M'gann and Conner, out at the movies). It would only be Robin and one other person at the Mountain that day.

Recognized. Kid Flash, B-03.

Speaking of whom.

"Yo, Rob!" Kid Flash said as he immediately ran towards his best friends, "that was one wild time! I don't think Uncle Barry has ever been that mad at me before."

"Good to see you, KF. Yeah, we definitely screwed up. I'm just glad Bruce didn't ground me for longer, although he did explain his displeasure with my actions in…other ways."

"Yeah, Uncle Barry grounded me for like- wait, other ways?" Wally asked, confused. His friend, who had hoped Wally would not have caught on to the meaning, simply looked down at the floor. Then Wally's eyes widened in understanding, "OH. You mean…?" He said, waiting for his friend's response. Robin blushed, nodding his head sadly.

"Wow, dude. That really sucks. And here I was about to complain about how you're already un-grounded! Looking at it, I guess I'm getting off really easy with only being grounded for a month," Wally said thoughtfully.

"Yeah, at least you get to hang out here. When I'm grounded, I'm not allowed anywhere near my costume," Robin said.

"Wait, really? To be honest, nothing really happens when I get grounded. I just need to report to Uncle Barry more often. Since he doesn't usually tell my parents, I get to keep my phone, electronics, and hang out with my friends."

"Are you being serious?" Robin asked, an annoyed tone to his voice.

"Hey, now, don't be angry with me. It's not my fault your guardian is a hard-ass," Wally replied testily.

"I guess you're right. No offense, Walls, but it's just so unfair! I get the sp- punishment of a lifetime and you get to carry on like nothing happened!" Robin said in an exasperated voice.

"Dude, I don't blame you for being upset. I'd be pissed, too, if I found out you got diddly-squat while I got punished. Hey, let me make it up to you: I'll let you win the next three rounds of Mario Kart. Sound fair?" Wally asked.

"Wally," Robin said seriously, "I always beat you at Mario Kart."

"Yeah, but this time I'm letting you win," Wally said happily, raising his eyebrows up and down. Robin rolled his eyes.

"How about this: you actually try to beat me this time around and make it a challenge for me," Robin said.

"Sure thing, Rob! Can't wait to see you get your sorry-ass whooped!" Wally exclaimed excitedly while speeding over to the TV.

"That reminds me," Robin said, putting the game disc into the console, "NO getting bored and requesting to take the Batmobile on a joyride."

Wally grinned sheepishly, "Now that's definitely a promise I can make."

And there you have it. The conclusion to the little story I started 4 years ago. Who else is super excited about YJ coming back at the end of this year? I swear I think I'm more excited about that than Avengers: Infinity War, and I'm SUPER excited about that movie, too! Anyway, thank you so much for reading this story. I'm sure this is far too short of a chapter but I really just wanted to have a nice ending. I'm trying to get into writing a bit more so if you have any suggestions for me I will gladly take them! And with that, I bid thee farewell.
