"You look absolutely beautiful!"
Arianna stared blankly at the mirror as the flamboyant tailor fussed over the layers and LAYERS of lace, chiffon, bows, and sparkles. He didn't seem to notice that a look of absolute horror was dawning on her face. It was her worst nightmare, it look like a unicorn had thrown up all over her!
She definitely knew that he would like it, seeing that she suspected that he had a slight fetish buried deep inside him, but really...
WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKK?!
Could this get any more torturous?...
Suddenly the tailor plopped an over the top veil complete with bow and somehow incorporating a sparkling tiara at the same time. He squealed as he wandered off, claiming that he had to get the jewelry.
A vein started to pop on her forehead as she ran a hand through her long curls. Letting out a heavy sigh, she walked, or tried to walk closer to the mirror. After a few minutes of glaring at herself, she tore the monstrosity of a veil off her head and immediately felt a lot better now her face was clear.
Something surprised her, despite the torture she was going through, a vibrant smile threatened to spread across her face and she suddenly felt something flutter in her chest. She didn't consider her self beautiful, she didn't see herself as the "belle of the ball" even though she would often have to play the part.
The dress was definitely not the cause of her emotions, but the thought of the upcoming event.
A soft glow seemed to issue from her as she shook her head, laughing with a mixture of disbelief and awe. And in a moment, she realized that a lost child didn't look back at her from the mirror anymore, but a radiant young woman.
"~IIIIIII"MMMMMM BBBBAAAACCCKKKKK!~", the tailor exclaimed, running into the room with the most gaudy jewelry she had ever seen. He seemed to notice her radiant energy and was about to squeal with excitement. Until Arianna reverted back to her blank stare, intensifying her cold glare tenfold.
"You're fired.", she stated bluntly, already fumbling with the strings of her corset and slipping the dress off in one graceful movement, not bothering to wait for him to exit the room to let her change. Her ex stylist gaped at her as she pushed his dress into his arms pushed him out of her room as she pulled her silk robe.
Once he was gone she walked to the small basin of water laying on her vanity and brought the wash cloth to her arms, wiping the layer of make up from her arms. She was covered in it, seeing that the tailor was a normal person and she didn't want to deal with him scrutinizing her complexion like the first one.
She let out another sigh as she plopped herself onto her bed. She just wanted something simple, why couldn't high-class society accept that?!
An amused smile graced her lips, maybe she would shock them and walk down the aisle in a sleek white giggled as she imagined countless situations of her going against the social expectations of her "guests", slowly drifting off to sleep.
Not bothering to acknowledge that they were only a few weeks to her special day...
she would worry about that tomorrow.
PLEASE REVEIW AND I'LL TRY TO WRITE TO YOU SOON!
