Chapter Eight
"I'm Sebastian Summers, the Prince of the Summer Kingdom." He announced, his hazel green eyes holding me on the spot. I shivered when they darkened and filled with heat. Disgusting. Every instinct told me to run, to get away from this dangerous being who could easily overpower me. They did this on purpose, they brought him here knowingly I'm no match with him face to face..
"So this is my bride to be?" I flinched when he began making his way towards me in graceful long strides. Causing me to back away as further as I can until my back hit the wall. I'm trapped, I paled in realization. Instantly I was hit by his heat that radiated in waves, causing me to sweat and tremble. This was dangerous, I need to run away! His arms trapped me on either side of my head, keeping me from escaping this hell. I'm going to be killed from simply being this close.
"Docile and quiet, he's definitely a beauty too.." He moved closer, making me instinctively try to push him away but because of the heat my arms could barely raise and weakly push against his concrete chest and to try create some distance. This is too much..
My head began to sway, trying to stay conscience as the Summer Prince continued to talk. His words not reaching my ears I struggled to breathe through my mouth, the edges of my vision began to darken. I need to get away.. My eyes began drooping. I have to see bunny.. It was getting harder to keep them open. Aster...
Gasping, I quickly sat up to only sway a bit before looking around to see that I was in a unfamiliar room. Where am I? It held warm colors such as a deep red, mahogany, burnt orange, and the like. But small piles of snow littered around the room, on the dresser, floor and bed, created by a magical snow orb that circled the room. Arianna.
I'm in the Summer Kingdom. I fell back into the bed, groaning as my head began to pound, feeling as though it might split open. With great effort, I. tried to remember correctly where the Summer Kingdom resided. I believe it was somewhere in the middle of the Sahara Desert, in an untouchable territory.
Which may explain the snow orb and my raging headache. Even with the change in tempature my instincts is going haywire trying to get away from this god forsaken place. But if I'm here they have sentenced me to death..
Aster.. A tear escaped and rolled down my cheek as I stared up to the ceiling. How will I ever see you again? Will I still be able to be with him?
Suddenly a click sounded and I was instantly on my feet, swaying a bit but quickly moved my back against the wall, furthest from the door that opened to reveal a trembling girl. She was a small petite little thing, her brown hair was tied back as she wore a white robe that covered her from shoulder to toes. In her hands she held a pile of fabric that she hesitantly brought over and stood by the dresser and waited.
"What is it? What do you want?" I called, straightening up but not moving from where I stood. She flinched and hesitated again before talking softly.
"I brought you a change of clothes from his Royalty, your highness. He requests to see you, your highness." She lowers her head when she finished speaking. Not wanting to make the Summer Prince come drag him out himself I slowly made my way towards her. She gestured to the folded screen where I went behind and stripped of my heavy, sweaty clothes into a bin then slid it towards her to take.
She then placed the pile on a table beside the screen and in a few seconds you can hear the door click. I kinda felt bad for her being in this cold room, unlike the Summer Prince, most of the spirits were sensitive to the cold.
Unraveling the clothes I blushed. There was a white silk cropped tanktop with an open back that hugged my chest snuggly, leaving my chest half covered. An equally small sheer shall that was covered in jewel around the neck. A pair of white low-waist hugging boy shorts that is also covered by a loose sheer that was tight around the ankles, again cover with jewerlly around the waist and ankles. Lastly a pair of while flats and matching wrist jewerly.
Looking around for my clothes or anything else I came up with nothing. This is humiliating. I picked up my staff on the bed and hugged myself in order to cover my belly. This is the worst.
Outside was the same girl who gasped, blushed then bowed before showing me the way to the Summer Prince. Behind her another girl but taller with a built appearance kept a stoic expression followed behind with a large umbrella to keep me shades from the sun that shown throughout the kingdom.
Holding tightly on to my staff I spread out frost on parts of my body to stay cool as the orb does not follow me everywhere and the humid air made it almost unbearable. Admittingly the outfit does kind of help with the heat too. Not that I will be saying it outloud. I may wanted to denounce myself but this is no outfit for royalty. Nothing but shamless.
Finally we appeared infront of a pair of large doors that opened to reveal a balcony with a shaded table and a wide spread of food and refreshments. The Summer Prince sat at one of the two chairs, wearing a loose robe that opened in the chest revealing a thick necklace and he wore a pair of sandles. Disgraceful. He sat unbeknownst to my arrival until the little girl announced it.
"Your Royalty, your highness has arrived." I glared watching him tear his eyes away from the tablet infront of him then blink in confusion, his eyes darkening as they checked me out. Shuddering in disgust I tried to quell the rising nausea as he gestured me to seat. He quickly reached over and kissed my hand.
"Your highness, my future queen, you look ravashing." I'm going to throw up.
