"Darkness Before the Dawn"

Daisuke was frowning in worry as she stared off in the direction where she saw Duskmon and Beowolfmon fly off in and she grew worried over what was happening to the two Warriors.

"Hey, do you think this would bounce?" Neemon asked as he held the egg making Bokomon snap his head over to him in outrage.

"Give me that!" Bokomon snapped snatching the egg away and Neemon stumbled from the force.

"'Do you think this would bounce?' You nincompoop!" Bokomon said as he put the egg back in his waist band.

"Zoe, are you okay?" JP asked the blonde as she stared out towards the area the Warriors of Light and Darkness fell.

"I'm just wondering if we can get in there and help Takuya. And if he'll ever make it out without us." Zoe said.

"Look! Something's happening!" Tommy cried.

He was pointing over to one of the orbs which made everyone glance over at it curiously.

"Something's always happening, kid." JP commented as he, Zoe and Daisuke walked over.

Staring up at the orb, they saw an image of their friend who was still trapped inside of Sakkakumon.

"Takuya!" Zoe gasped.

"Not just Takuya! Check it out!" Tommy said as one of the orbs showed Agunimon glaring at Mercurymon.

"No way! Mercurymon's in there too? How is that fair?" Daisuke asked as she stared in shock.

Staring up at the orb, the group watched in anticipation as they saw Mercurymon leading Agunimon out of the area that had been the battle ground for Duskmon and Beowolfmon.

Agunimon was then led into the final sphere on Sakkakumon's body and Daisuke couldn't help but feel a sickening feeling in her stomach at the sight.

The orb took on the appearance of an old gothic church with a large organ and in the center of the room was Seraphimon who was being restrained by vines, trapping the angel and piercing him with thorns.

Everyone gasped in horror and confusion at the sight of the great angel, unable to believe that he was actually trapped inside of Sakkakumon.

"Seraphimon?" Tommy whimpered in shock.

"There's no way..." Daisuke shook her head in disbelief.

"It can't be. I mean, it can't be, right?" Zoe asked.

"It's probably another one of Mercurymon's tricks!" JP exclaimed.

"My…eyes are stuck." Neemon said with his eyes wide open.

Mercurymon, smug by the look of shock on Agunimon's face, then did the unimaginable and absorbed Seraphimon, or rather his data, and then he began to transform.

He took on the guise of Seraphimon, only a darker and more evil version of the angel who had demonic wings.

"What is that thing?!" Daisuke cried.

"ShadowSeraphimon." Bokomon whimpered.

"TAKUYA!" Zoe cried as ShadowSeraphimon began throwing him around, beating him mercilessly.

"Why is Seraphimon fighting Agunimon? And how is Seraphimon even there if we have his digi egg?" Tommy asked with tears in his eyes.

"He's not. Mercurymon is using Seraphimon's data to evolve, that evil no good beatnick!" Bokomon as be climbed up on JP and stood up on his shoulder.

"How'd he do that?" JP asked.

"I'm not sure, but I recognize that felonious fiend even if he were disguised as a little girl selling cookies." Bokomon said.

"Cookies, mm!" Neemon drooled.

Not in the current mood to deal with Neemon's randomness, Daisuke snapped the digimon's pants making him cry out in pain as the girl then turned her full attention on the fight that was raging on above her.

Agunimon then Slide Evolved into BurningGreymon and got back up to fight, but ShadowSeraphimon was still able to beat him back and he did it with such a gleeful air around him that made the other Warriors feel sick at the sight.

"I can't believe we have to watch this happen." JP said sadly.

"Mercurymon was so strong before, but now it looks like with Seraphimon's power, there's just no way Takuya can defeat him." Zoe said.

"Not quite. There is one way." Bokomon said making everyone look at him with new found hope.

Thinking back to what had happened earlier that day, Daisuke gasped as her eyes fell onto Seraphimon's egg.

"Fusion Evolution!" She exclaimed.

"You mean like what Koji used against Duskmon?" Zoe asked.

"Exactly. Then he might be powerful enough to defeat ShadowSeraphimon." Bokomon said.

"And a better costume too!" Neemon grinned.

"But will Takuya even know to try it?" Zoe asked looking back up at the battle.

"And can he evolve before it's too late?" JP asked as he looked back up.

"We can hope." Daisuke frowned.

ShadowSeraphimon then blasted a familiar looking attack at BurningGreymon, making the Beast cry out in pain as he then transformed back into his human form and fell to the ground.

The lens of the goggles shattering as he hit the ground.

"TAKUYA!" The Warriors of Wind and Thunder screamed.

Tommy and Daisuke were both crying at the sight before them, unable to beleive the horror that was happening.

"Why is this happening?" Daisuke sobbed.

"No, Takuya!" Zoe cried as tears flooded her eyes.

"It's all over. How's he supposed to Fusion Evolve if he can't even pick himself up?" JP asked in tears.

"Don't say that! One thing about Takuya, he never ever gives up! No matter what! So we are not going to give up on him! We just have to help him somehow." Tommy said through his tears.

"He's right, we just have to figure out how!" Zoe said with renewed confidence.

"Yes, but I don't know if there's anything we can do if we're so far away." Bokomon said.

"Well then, let's get back in there!" JP said as davis dried her tears.

"Back in?! do you know how bored I was waiting for you to get out?" Neemon cried waving his arms around.

"I don't care. Takuya needs our help!" JP said.

Wiping her tears away, Daisuke nodded with a confident expression on her face.

"Execute: Spirit Evolution!"

"BEETLEMON!"

"KAZEMON!"

"KUMAMON!"

"BELLEMON!"

"Hold on, Takuya! We're on our way!" Beetlemon said as he and the others flew up to help him.

"But how are we gonna get in?" Kazemon asked.

"Our old standby. We're gonna do it together." Beetlemon said and then used his Lightning Blitz to try and get into the barrier that kept them out.

"Ready?" Kazemon asked as she threw Kumamon up in the air.

Kumamon used his Blizzard Blaster on the barrier and Bellemon attacked with her Feather Frenzy next, causing a minimal amount of damage, but they didn't break through.

Kazemon then flew over and used her Hurricane Wave and the other three Warriors continued blasting off their attacks, trying desperately to break through the barrier to help Takuya fight off ShadowSeraphimon.

"Come on! Come on!" the Warrior of Thunder groaned.

From inside of the sphere, the four Warriors heard Takuya screaming in pain and it made their blood run cold since they were unable to see what ShadowSeraphimon was doing to cause such terrible harm to their friend.

"TAKUYA!" Beetlemon, Kazemon, Kumamon and Bellemon all screamed.

Reacting to their voices, Seraphimon's digi egg then began to glow once more and shot out a golden light that pierced through the barrier to reach Takuya.

After the light faded away, the mark on the front of the egg then disappeared.

Backing away from Sakkakumon and floating back down to where the two digimon were, everyone watched as Takuya transformed into a stronger version of Agunimon who had BurningGreymon's wings.

"Get him, Aldamon!" Bokomon cheered.

Everyone smiled as they watched Aldamon take the upper hand in the fight, pushing ShadowSeraphimon back.

"Oh, it really worked. Of course I knew it was going to work all along. When have I ever steered you guys wrong?" Bokomon asked with a wide smile.

"Now get that data stealing creep!" Bokomon called up to Aldamon.

ShadowSeraphimon used his attack on the Fusion of Flame, but it didn't even faze him as he began to walk forward making the evil digimon back up in fear.

Aldamon then hit him with only one attack named Atomic Inferno and soon ShadowSeraphimon's code appeared and Aldamon scanned it, the code being purified as it went back down to the egg that Bokomon held.

"Hey, look!" Kazemon said.

"I don't like the look of this thing!" Bokomon said as the code flew over to him and hit the egg, shocking Bokomon making Neemon jump in surprise.

"I'm sure glad you're in charge of the egg!" Neemon gasped.

"I think we're all glad about that right now." Beetlemon commented.

"Is it over?" Kazemon asked.

"Not yet." Beetlemon said.

"Oh no! Not again!" Bokomon cried out making everyone turn to him.

"What is it now?" Beetlemon asked.

"The baby! The baby is struggling again!" Bokomon yelled.

"Does that mean the baby's gonna be born?" Kumamon asked as everyone rushed over to him.

They were answered by the sound of Bokomon screaming in pain and everyone put all of their attention on their distressed friend, leaving Takuya to defeat ShadowSeraphimon.

Returning to their human forms, Zoe pulled Bokomon onto her lap and Daisuke took off her sweater to place over to screaming digimon to try to give him some comfort.

"Man, now I really wish I had paid some attention in health class." JP frowned.

Soon enough, a victorious Aldamon flew out of Sakkakumon and smiled down at his friends when he saw them gathered together.

"Hey everybody! Guess who just kicked Mercurymon's patootie, so how are the rest of you guys doing?" Aldamon asked.

"AAAAHHHH!" Bokomon yelled as he wriggled around on Zoe's lap.

Transforming back into his human form, Takuya walked over to the group, confused over what was happening.

"What the heck's wrong with Bokomon?" Takuya asked.

"We don't know." Zoe said.

"He was zapped by Seraphimon's data." JP informed.

"What is happening?" Takuya asked as he and JP freaked when they saw the egg move and cracks appeared on the smooth surface.

"The egg! It's hatching" Zoe cried.

Everyone laughed and smiled as green light formed around them all.

"You mean Seraphimon's being born right now?" JP asked.

"This is the most beautiful thing ever!" Neemon said.

Then there was a small explosion and a pink puff of smoke covered everyone making them cough and choke in surprise.

"And the smokiest!" Neemon said as everyone coughed.

"Hey, who is that?" Tommy asked when the smoke cleared and everyone saw an adorable creature hovering in front of them.

It was a small digimon that was orange and beige with large blue eyes and he had wings where ears should be.

Wrapped around his waist was a pink bellyband just like Bokomon's.

"Oh, it's Patamon." Bokomon said.

"Hi everybody!" Patamon chirped with an adorable smile.

"Oh he's my…he's my little baby." Bokomon said with a sweet smile as he gazed at the young digimon.

"He's so cute!" Daisuke gushed as Patamon landed on top of her head and nuzzled into her hair.

"Yes, he really is. Now come say hi to Momma!" Bokomon smiled brightly with his arms wide open and tears in his eyes.

"You want him to call you Momma?!" Everyone asked in surprise.

"Momma!" Patamon said cutely.

"Well, who else carried that egg for weeks while the rest of you lolly gaged around?" Bokomon said.

Insulted by this, everyone began yelling in outrage.

"Lolly gaged?!"

"You little creep!"

"You don't know who you're messing with!"

"Fine, then no one gets to play with him." Bokomon huffed.

This resulted in everyone protesting at the unfairness of Bokomon's desicion while Patamon continued to sit on top of Daisuke's head, smiling innocently.

"The Gateway to Home"

Later on that day, everyone was relaxing by the lake and resting up after their encounter with Myotismon.

Mimi, Palmon, Daisuke and Veemon were sitting by the river as they watched Tai, Agumon and Joe gathering up water in plastic bags while Gomamon was swimming around in the lake, enjoying himself.

"Hey, check it out, Mimi." Joe said holding up his water filled bag.

"How about this for an instant bath? I'm glad I took these bags from the restaurant." He said as Gomamon swam over to him.

"Gee, now you'll be able to go soak your head the next time you have an allergy attack." The seal joked.

"Right. That was so funny I forgot to laugh." Joe said.

"Now that Myotismon's chasing us, we're gonna have to keep running like a bunch of crazed shoppers at the mall. He's just a big creep if you ask me." Mimi commented.

"I have to agree with you on that." Joe told her.

"Yeah, he's small potatoes for us." Tai spoke up.

"My wish is to never see him again. Period." Palmon said.

"Mine too." Mimi smiled with her partner.

"Hate to break the news to ya, but we're gonna see him again. He's trying to destroy us, meaning we're gonna see him again." Daisuke stated.

"Thanks a lot, Miss Sourpuss." Tai sighed.

"Hey, I'm the expert in dealing with evil freaks, remember? I know how they work." Daisuke reminded.

"Speaking of, when are you going to tell the others?" Agumon asked as he walked over to the girl.

"Soon. I just have to figure out how to do it." Daisuke said.

"Maybe you should just evolve in front of them. You might have to do it soon enough when Myotismon comes back." Veemon told her.

Nodding at that, Daisuke stared down at her DB-Tector to see the faces of Bellemon and Mewmon flashing across the device's screen.

"Gather around everyone!" Izzy called, capturing the attention of everyone in the area.

"I hope lunch is ready because I'm starving." Tai said as Izzy and Tentomon ran over.

"Gennai's back. He wants to speak to us." Izzy said.

"Is this a scheduled visit?" Mimi asked.

"Hope he found a way to get us out of here." Joe said.

"What is it this time?" Tai asked.

"Does he actually have anything useful to tell us?" Daisuke scoffed.

The four Digidestineds all spoke at once, their voices blending together as they turned their attention on Izzy.

Izzy then led everyone over to where a hologram of Gennai was located and they stood around the image as they waited for the old man to tell them why he was contacting them.

"Don't keep us in suspense. What's this all about anyway?" Tai asked.

"Well, I brought you some good news and some bad news. Which would you like to hear first?" Gennai asked.

"Save the good news for last. I hate being depressed." The child of Reliability said.

"He's a basket case anyway. Let's start with the good news." Matt told Gennai.

"Actually, you all look like you could use some cheering up. I've been told another child will be joining your group." Gennai revealed.

Hearing this news, Daisuke couldn't help but feel a strange sense of deja vu.

As for the other seven Digidestineds, they were all stunned by the bombshell that Gennai had just dropped on them.

"Another child? Who tells you these things anyway?" Sora asked.

"Well, this is someone you shall want as a friend. This someone is a Digidestind." Gennai said.

"What?" Matt gasped.

"Really?" Mimi asked.

"Another one?" Joe questioned.

"You've gotta be kidding!" Daisuke exclaimed.

"Oh, I hope this new one will have a digimon that will be able to help us." Yokomon said.

"You and me both." Sora said.

"The important thing to remember is all nine of you must be together. As long as you are separated, the worlds will not be in harmony together. And everything will go wacko, so we must find this other child as soon as possible." Gennai told them seriously.

"How do we do that?" Tai asked.

"I hope it's someone my size." TK said.

"I hope she's my size so that we can swap clothes." The child of Sincerity gushed.

"Tell us something about this kid. Like what's his or her name?" the child of Courage asked.

"Uh, name? It's…I forgot." Gennai said nervously.

"You forgot?!" Matt asked.

"GENNAI!" Tai yelled.

"HOW COULD YOU FORGET SOMETHING AS IMPORTANT AS THIS YOU RETARD?!" Daisuke screamed.

Everyone jumped away from the raging girl as her eyes glowed gold and her teeth grew sharp, like the fangs of a cat.

After everyhting that had been happening in the last few months, the poor girl was close to having a heart attack from all the stress that being placed on her.

Veemon placed comforting hands on his human's shoulders, trying to ease away her anger.

"Calm down. I do know the location of the child. It's Japan." Gennai said.

"Japan?" Tai asked.

"Where is Japan?" Gabumon asked.

"Japan's a big island in the far east." Agumon said.

"Agumon and Tai were transported there when our two worlds converged." Izzy explained.

"If they ever converge again, maybe we'll all get to go home." Joe said.

"Yeah." Mimi sighed sadly.

"Remember, that was the good news." Gennai reminded.

"Can't wait to hear the bad news." Tai said as he resisted the urge to roll his eyes.

"Myotismon has heard of the 9th child and will be going to Japan soon. He's gathering his forces as we speak. If he gets to the child first, both of our worlds will be doomed." Gennai said.

"Doomed?! We need some spies on the inside!" Tai decided.

"Let's get to work then." Daisuke narrowed her eyes.

Gennai then gave Izzy directions to Myotismon's castle and everyone quickly made their way over while Mimi took care of the disguises for Agumon and Palmon who would be sneaking inside.

The two Rookies were welcomed inside and then the Digidestineds snuck onto the side of the castle and stood by the wall.

"According to my information, the gate to the other world should be somewhere inside this castle." Gennai said.

"My theory is that Myotismon sent DemiDevimon to distract us while he stayed behind to prepare the gate. Truly an ingenious plan on his part." Izzy commented.

"A good theory indeed." Gennai agreed.

"Agumon and Palmon have certainly been gone a long time. It's not that I'm worried, it's just that…well, I hope they're looking for the location of the gate." Tai said as he looked up at the castle.

"I'm worried." Tai said.

"Just be patient." Matt said as vines were thrown down the side of the wall.

Looking up, the group found Palmon and Agumon smiling down at them from inside one of the castle's towers.

"Hey, look, they're back!" Mimi smiled.

"Sorry we took so long. We had a big bruiser on our hands." Palmon said.

"Let's go." Tai called as everyone ran over to the vines.

"My signal is useless inside the castle, so you're on your own. I'm counting on you." Gennai said.

"We got it covered." Tai said as the vines wrapped around him and Mimi, pulling them up to the window.

"I hope so. You must stop Myotismon from carrying out his plans and protect your friend in Japan." The old man said.

"We better move it." Palmon told them.

Once inside the castle, everyone broke up into three groups and took off to find the gateway to Earth.

Tai, Daisuke, Veemon and Agumon were together as they walked across a stone bridge as they searched around for any clues.

"Something's totally weird here." Tai commented.

"What is it?" Agumon asked.

"We've passed this way before." Tai said.

"Seriously?" Veemon asked as he glanced around.

"Everything in here looks the same. What is up with that?" Daisuke narrowed her eyes.

"Is that you, Tai?" Izzy's voice echoed from below the bridge.

Looking down the side of the bridge, the group stared down at the sight of Izzy and Tentomon who were staring up at them.

"Yeah, I'm up here. Did you find anything unusual down there, Izzy?" Tai called down to him.

"Well, you could say that, Tai. The truth is, your way down there and we're up here." Tentomon said confusing the tanned duo.

"I think you guys may need glasses. We're way up here above you." Agumon said.

"But there's no way!" Izzy said as he looked over his side of the bridge that was under the duo of Courage and Miracles, looking up at them.

"That's scientifically impossible." The child of Knowledge commented.

"Izzy, haven't you learned? Nothing here is logical!" Daisuke called down to him.

All eight Digidestineds then gathered together again to talk about their problem with searching for the gateway.

"My theory is Myotismon has set up these optical illusions to detour us from finding the gate." Izzy explained.

"Well, I'd say he succeeded. We're still as lost as we were before we started." Tai said.

"All we've done so far is go round and round in circles and we don't know up from down." Matt sighed.

"Honestly, it's making me dizzy." Joe complained.

"Huh?" Gomamon gasped as he jerked his head to the side.

"What's up?" Joe asked.

"Someone's coming." Gomamon announced.

"You sure?" the bluenette asked.

"You doubt me?" Gomamon asked.

Gasping, the group looked down below them to see shadows of a team of digimon who were walking by.

"I'm itching to fight." A gruff voice said.

"Eh, 'cause ya got fleas?" Another voice teased.

"They seem to know where they're going." Matt whispered.

"Maybe we should try to follow them." Sora suggested.

"They'll lead us to the right place." Tai said as everyone walked down to the tunnel that would lead them to the digimon army.

Rushing down the hallway, the group ran through a doorway to see a large room where Myotismon was located and was stepping into his carriage.

Daisuke's eyes grew wide in shock at the sight of a Gatomon standing in the room, ordering around the army of Myotismon's slaves.

How could a Holy Beast be on the side of an evil monster?

"You're not going anywhere! Not us long as we can help it." Tai yelled, making the annoyed vampire glare over at the humans.

"What is your name? Do you work for me? Can't you see I'm busy at the moment?" Myotismon taunted as Gatomon and DemiDevimon stood at his sides.

"Yeah, right." Tai scoffed.

"DemiDevimon, would you please take care of this annoying gang of hoodlums? I have better things to do." Myotismon turned up his nose.

"Of course sir. Anything you want. I'm at your service." DemiDevimon said bowing to the vampire as he got inside his carriage.

"I'm not letting you get pass this gate!" DemiDevimon yelled.

A group of Numemon, Vegiemon and other random digimon followed after DemiDevimon, ready to fight off the Digidestineds.

"Fat chance, you little twerp!" Tai said.

"I've brought reinforcements. It's all yours, Nanimon." DemiDevimon said to a round digimon.

He had arms and legs, sunglasses and he had facial hair.

"Right. Don't even think about passing by me. You got it?" Nanimon said as he stood in front of the group.

"Fare well, digi-dud." Myotismon smirked as he went through the gate.

"Okay, let's fight!" Nanimon cried.

"Yeah!" His soldiers cheered.

"We don't wanna fight you guys, but the future is at stake." Agumon narrowed his eyes.

"You'll have to forgive us." Palmon said.

"No!" Daisuke ordered making eveyrone freeze at the commanding tone in her voice.

"I think it's time I take care of things." She declared.

"And what's a little brat like you gonna do?" DemiDevimon taunted.

"Just watch me." Daisuke smirked.

Tai, Joe, Mimi, Agumon, Gomamon, Palmon and Veemon all grinned as they knew what was going to happen while the others were all confused.

"Spirit Evolution!" Daisuke cried.

An orb of data covered her body and she transformed into the young guardian angel of the Digidestineds which made everyone gasp in shock at the sight.

"BELLEMON!"

Gatomon's eyes grew wide in wonder at the sight of Bellemon while DemiDevimon grew nervous as he backed away from the angel who hovered in the air, rainbow lights glowing around her body.

"No way! A Legendary Warriors?! How can this be?! The master's gonna be mad." DemiDevimon whimpered as he flew behind the army.

"Daisuke..." TK whispered with wide eyes.

"She was Bellemon and Mewmon this entire time?" Matt asked.

"So that's it! That's why she has the Crest of Miracles! Because she's the Warrior of Miracles!" Izzy exclaimed.

"This is amazing!" Tentomon cried.

Nanimon and the army of digimon were backing away fearfully from the Legendary Warrior, not a single one of them wanting to face the powerful digimon.

"Everyone, back into ranks!" Nanimon yelled as the digimon rushed at Bellemon who simply smirked.

With a flap of her wings, she released her Feather Frenzy which rained down on the digimon who cried out in pain and started running away.

"Forget this! I ain't fighting a Legendary Warriors!" A digimon yelled.

"Out of my way!" A Numemon shouted.

"What babies." Veemon commented with his hands on his hips.

Nanimon gulped as he found himself alone and stared up at Bellemon who crossed her arms, challenging him.

"Um... You win!" Nanimon cried as he held up a white flag.

"Hey! You can't resign!" DemiDevimon yelled.

"You wanna bet, pipsqueak? When it comes down to having my fanny kicked, I'm outta here and if you don't believe me, ya might check the fine print on my contract." Nanimon said.

"I guess no one's strong enough to take on one of the Legendary Warriors." Gomamon grinned.

Flying over to her friends, Bellemon smiled at them as they stared at the angel in awe.

"Daisuke, you were the one looking after us all this time?" TK asked.

"That's right. Now, come on. We've gotta go after Myotismon. I owe him a beating." Bellemon said.

Deciding to hold their questions for later, the group all turned their attention towards the gate where DemiDevimon was.

"We're comin' through!" Tai called.

"Don't let me stand in your way!" Nanimon yelled as he ran away, throwing a pink glob of sludge on DemiDevimon's head.

"Might as well give up." Matt said.

"I'm out numbered! Good help is so hard to find." DemiDevimon commented

"Just admit you picked the wrong side and give it a rest already." TK smirked as Patamon flew over.

"If you're trying to prank me, it won't work." DemiDevimon said, then sobbed.

The doors to the gateway then opened up to reveal Gatomon who looked far more confident than DemiDevimon.

"You haven't dealt with me yet!" Gatomon said.

Jumping over to where the digimon were, she punched Agumon in the snout and knocked him down.

She then punched out Gomamon and Tentomon before either digimon could even digivolve, then flipped away from the group with a smirk.

"That was too easy." She giggled.

"Try this!" Palmon cried.

Using her Poison Ivy, she wrapped Gatomon up in her vines, trapping her and then Biyomon used SPiral Twister on the cat.

Eyes glowing pink, Gatomon then used her Cat's Eye Hypnotism to make Palmon release her and had the other digimon wrap her vines around Biyomon.

"Palmon, what are you doing?" Biyomon gasped.

"It's Gatomon's Cat's Eye Hypnotism. She can control other digimon just by looking into their eyes." Bellemon warned.

As Gatomon was about to attack Gabumon, Veemon jumped over and punched the cat in the jaw making her hiss as she then dnaced away from the dragon.

"Not bad for a gecko." She rubbed her chin.

"That means nothing coming from a traitorous hairball." Veemon glared.

"To the gate everyone." Tai cried.

"We gotta get through." Sora called.

"Hey, I don't think so." Gatomon said as her tail ring glowed and the statues of dragons glowed and came to life.

"Devidramon. He's one nasty dragon, guardian of the gate. Devi doesn't like losing. If you want a real surprise, look into his eyes. You'll be hypnotized." Gatomon purred.

The Devidramon stepped in front of the Digidestineds, blocking off their path and Bellemon flew in front of the two dragons and used her Paradice Crucifix to push them back.

"Your fight's with me, ugly. Slide Evolution!" Bellemon cried as she was covered in data.

"MEWMON!"

Jumping at one of the Devidramon, Mewmon punched the dragon in the face and sent him crashing to the ground.

"She is one powerful kitten." Gatomon commented as she watched Mewmon continuously throwing punches at Devidramon.

"She's one of the Legendary Warriors, one who happens to be a descendant of yours. How can you fight on the side of someone like Myotismon?" Veemon asked.

"I have my reasons." Gatomon told him.

A certain look of pain entered her eyes which made Veemon stare at her curiously, but he was blinded sided by the second Devidramon who grabbed him.

"Sorry, cutie, but I've gotta go." Gatomon said as she and DemiDevimon jumped through the gateway.

"Veemon!" Mewmon called as she dodged Devidramon1 as he threw a punch at her.

"The gate's closing!" Tai yelled.

"What do we do?" Mimi asked as her eyes moved between the closing gate and the fighting digimon.

Delivering a powerful kick, Mewmon sent Devidramon1 crashing into Devidramon2, releasing Veemon who ran away from the two downed dragons.

"We need to re-group!" Mewmon said as she jumped in front of the Digidestineds.

"But what about-"TK began.

"We'll find another way! Right now we need to leave and come up with a new plan!" Mewmon told him.

"Mewmon's right. Let's go!" Tai yelled.

The Digidestineds started running away as the gateway closed and the Devidramon growled as they watched the group escape.

To be continued...
