Hey everyone! This isnt really part of the story, but it kind of is. A guest reviewer said they wanted to see Amhar playing with the Dragons. It wasnt exactly a request, but i decided to do it anyway. Its not exactly what they said, but its basically Amhar playing with Aithusa.

Hope you enjoy. Sadly, this was done on my phone, so there might be a lot of mistakes, and it also doesn't have italics, so thoughts and telepathy is in caps.

This chapter is for that awesome guest reviewer!

THOUGHTS

"Faster!" The little voice shouted over the wind, a gleeful giggle escaping the little boy's lips.

With a flap of its wings the white dragon picked up speed, soaring high above the clouds.

'HOLD ON' The boy didn't have enough time to process the words - which were spoken in his mind - as the dragon tucked in its wings and angled its body towards the ground.

The ground rushed to meet the pair and the dragon dived toward the earth, before she was pulling back at the last possible second and landing gently on the ground.

The boy slid from the dragons back, panting from the rush of adrenaline the dive had given him.

He fell to the ground, just lying there and catching his breath while his dragon companion curled up next to him.

The bag the boy had strapped to his friend had come undone at some point, and was now resting on the ground in between the to friends.

"Aithusa?" The boy asked, glancing at his bag and back to the dragon.

Aithusa followed his gaze, before huffing and standing.

The boy grinned, before launching himself at the bag and taking out a pig skin ball. He threw it at the dragon, who caught it in her mouth before tossing her head back and launching the ball at the boy, who had to run after it.

They stayed like this for hours, playing with the ball in the clearing.

The sound of horses reached the pairs ears and both of them tensed.

'QUICK, AMHAR. GET BEHIND ME.' Amhar scrambled from the ground, quick to do as he was told.

Aithusa stood in front of him protectively, growling as the horses and their occupants got closer. She felt a familiar glimmer from one of the riders, immediately relaxing.

The riders broke through the trees.

Merlin POV:

Merlin and Arthur had been riding for hours. Aithusa had told him that she was taking Amhar flying, but they had yet to return. He and Arthur had searched the woods for a while, before giving up and making there way to a clearing so Merlin could call the dragon.

When they got there, they did not expect to see said Dragon, standing in front of the Prince and grinning like an idiot.

"Hello, Merlin. Arthur." Aithusa said, moving so she was no longer hiding the Prince from view.

"Amhar! Thank God! Where have you been!?" The King demanded, jumping from his horse and storming over to the boy - who now looked slightly afraid of his father - and pulling him into a hug.

The boy looked shocked. He was sure he would get into trouble, no doubt.

"I am sorry, father. I was just playing with Aithusa." Amhar said once his father pulled away.

"Well, im glad your alright." Arthur said, standing before his son.

"Does this mean i'm not in trouble?" The boy asked hopefully.

Arthur laughed.

"I am not mad. But you are only five, you shouldn't have gone off without telling anyone. Also, i cant say the same for your mother." Arthur replied, amusement shinning in his eyes.

Merlin grinned as well, remembering Gwens frantic behaviour.

"But Aithusa said she would tell Merlin!" The boy exclaimed.

"And she did. But running off with only one person knowing - who is forgetful, might i add - is not ok." Arthur said, sternly.

"Hey!" Came Merlins indignant shout.

Arthur grinned. "My point is, don't go running off with out telling anybody, alright?"

Amhar nodded. "Ok."

"We should return to the castle, Arthur." Merlin said.

The King nodded and made his way back to his horse, Amhar pouting as he trailed behind.

AN:

I might make a fic that is a bunch of one-shots for this verse. If you would like to see that PM or review it. I am open to suggestions.
