A/N: So this is the final chapter of Charming the forgotten child, I don't want to say that I'll never add to it ever again, because honestly I don't know what the future will bring. But for now please enjoy the last ever chapter of this story. Read and review if you wish!

Epilogue

The next five years of Scarlett Halliwell Potter's life were quiet, minus the occasional demonic attack. Though in the lives of the Halliwell family, a few smattering of demons were something to be expected of. The Halliwells were back to normal, Phoebe and coop living their lives with their two children and Paige now joining her sisters into motherhood. Wyatt had stayed true to his vow and met someone and settled down with her, now living together in a cosy apartment in downtown San Francisco. Scarlett had settled down with Chris fully, finally allowing herself to relax fully with the constant threat of the du gone from their lives.

England were, reportedly, rebuilding everything from their infrastructure to their government. They had also slowly been introducing some muggle ideas within their system. According to Severus, they had been trying to stop the prejudice that had plagues the past few decades. In the hope that if the hard-core pureblood supremacists could see what Muggles could do without magic, they would be less likely to look down upon them in future years; bring about the intermixing of the separate blood hierarchies.

In other news in England, the Potters had finally uncovered what Dumbledore had done to them. Simple compulsions charm every now and again, nothing too drastic as the imperious curse. And once they knew had immediately beseeched the winzengamot to strip him of his titles within it and then further degrade him in the publics eye, had him stand down from the headmasters post in Hogwarts. Despite this new information reaching her ears in America, Scarlett had refused to forgive them, compulsion charms only built upon emotions and thoughts that already existed. And they had begun to neglect her long before Dumbledore did anything to them.

Her brother, Daniel, however was a different matter. Being in a war and seeing the truth of life, that it wasn't all sunshine and buttercups, had shocked him and in turn given him a total revelation. He had written a letter to Scarlett, begging her forgiveness and begging for the sister he used to remember singing him to sleep when he was a child. At first she had been adamant that she would never forgive him, to her he was just as bad their parents. But over the years she slowly let go of her bitterness towards her brother. After a gentle push from Chris, she apparated to his flat to talk about their future and what it may hold for the pair of siblings, she didn't leave that night. She forgave Daniel for his childhood misgivings; growing closer to her brother like she had before. It was nice, it was calm. A few times, her parents had tried to join in but after a few choice words from Daniel of all people, they eventually stopped. Though she knew they hadn't given up with their idea of a 'perfect' family reunion, they had at least stopped with the constant badgering.

Dumbledore had not survived his public disgracing well. After the Potter scandal surfaced he began to lose almost all of his support and eventually he lost all of it when he was seen trying to aid a known deatheater, not a spy like Severus, out of Azkaban. He had been tried by the council that he had once served for, and exiled from the world he had been born into. His wand snapped and magical binding bracelets were placed upon him; he now lived in the muggle world as a senile old man within a care home. When news of this had reached Scarlett she hadn't felt an ounce of pity for him, she personally thought that he deserved the kiss after his actions but she supposed being exiled from the world that he had known his whole life was a suitable secondary punishment.

And Scarlett? For the past five years she had lived the life she had always dreamed of. One without drama, besides the occasional demonic attack, and filled with love. She felt blessed everyday that she could wake up to Chris in their bed, she felt overjoyed when Danny came around to their house for lunch before dashing off to meet his new girlfriend. She loved the fact that she still had one blood relative she could call her own…Well, one of two.

Chris was sat at his laptop typing away at his new book idea, fully immersed in his work that he didn't see her slip into his office. He had, apparently, found his muse and begun to focus heavily in what he had called his best work yet, not that she complained, she knew how it could be with her own works. But she clutched in her hand was something that could make or break everything and after five years of being together she wasn't ready for it to end over something like this. Not that she really expected it too, knowing Chris he would be jumping over the moon once he knew.

"Hey" He said smiling at her and she grinned at him hiding her hand behind her back, kissing him softly

"Hey, been busy" She asked looking at his laptop which he quickly closed

"Ah ah ah, no peeking I don't want you to see it until it's done" He admonished with a smile before frowning when she still hid her hand "What you got there"

"Something" She said before sitting him back down on his computer chair

"Scar…What's up" He asked, she placed a long plastic tube on the desk next to his computer and stepped back biting her lip.

He picked it up and turned it over, it was thin and white with a small plastic covering at one end. He turned it over again and saw a small indent where a small blue cross stared back at him. "Scar…I don't….Wait…You mean!" He said looking at her and when she nodded he broke out in a large smile "You mean!" he cried jumping to his feet

"Yeah…I'm pregnant" She said softly, a smile beginning to grow on her face. Chris gave a shout of joy and grabbed her by the waist and twirled her around as she laughed loudly, filling the small office they bot stood in.

Five years had passed since the end of the dark times, since the time of the duo. Five years ha passed for Scarlett since she came to San Francisco and found her life again. Five years and she finally and truly began to live.

She lived a blessed life now, A charmed life.
