"It is freezing cold out here today, bella!" Dave exclaimed as he looked across the water at the Washington Monument. It was the day after Thanksgiving, and though things had gone well between him and Erin's children, there had been an underlying feeling of tension that he couldn't shake. And Erin must have read that in him, as well, since she had been insistent that they head out and do something somewhat out of the ordinary.
"I know, but if we cuddle up close, we can share our body heat and pretend that it's summer." Her reply was a bit cheeky, making him chuckle a little as he opened his coat and allowed her to lean back against his chest. Dave then quickly buttoned up the coat around them, cocooning his fiancé in warmth. She sighed a little as she rubbed her back against his chest, her ass deliberately grinding against his crotch, as if this was the place she had decided on for their next assignation. There were a few more people milling about then he was entirely comfortable with, but that just added a little more adventure to things. A low groan tumbled from his lips as he went to close his hands around her waist, only to find himself stymied by his coat.
"Erin…" he groaned, and she cleared her throat a little before snaking her hand back, her fingers fumbling with his fly before slipping inside and stroking him lazily. "You are going to undo me."
"That is sort of the point, David. I want to feel you come undone in my hand. It's took cold to properly fuck outdoors, but I can at least do this for you."
"And what am I supposed to do?" he bit out as her fingers slid up and down his shaft, hardening him even more.
"Stare out at the water and try not to give us away. I have the feeling that even though everything is covered up, we would still be hit with indecent exposure charges. And that is the last thing that you need, given your job, darling."
He nodded a little, widening his stance just a touch so that he might have better balance when things began to spiral out of control. A light chuckle fell from Erin's lips as she continued to slowly stroke him, as if knowing exactly how to drag out the pleasure he was experiencing. "So, have you given any thought to how you might like our wedding to go?"
"I know that I don't want a big splashy affair, even though you deserve it for all your fame. I can see you renting out the Washington Cathedral, and me in some ridiculously long veil and train dress floating down the aisle towards you to the strains of Verdi or Puccini, while the pews are filled with all our friends and family and the entourage of people that you've acquired over your years as an author." Her thumb swiped against the head of his dick, and it was difficult to keep from snapping his hips in order to get closer to her. "That would be nice, mind, but that's not me, unfortunately. If I could get away with it, I would have you whisk me away to Paris and we would get married in a small church there, with only us and my children. The only reason that can't happen is I would never hear the end of it from Alex or Penelope."
He nodded a little as he breathed through his nose, trying to control his reaction to the pleasure her hand was giving him, not wanting to let any of the people close to them what was happening. "That would be nice, yes, but Kitten would have a fit if I didn't include her in the ceremony. Uhh," he groaned, feeling like he was on the precipice of orgasm. "Though I am not in any particular hurry to get hitched. A spring wedding might be nice."
"That might be nice, yes. So, to compromise, how about we marry at your cottage in May. My children, the team, and Alex will be our only guests. And then, we can take our time, and maybe you can take me to Paris for our honeymoon."
"I like the way you think," he bit out as he came in her hand, and he could feel her relax against him, imagining the pleased smile that was curving across her face. "Do you want to make a bathroom run?"
"Yes, I probably should," she replied, and he nodded before unbuttoning his coat, feeling Erin tuck him back into his pants before running the zipper back up his front. "I do love you, darling."
The moment his coat was completely undone, she turned around and kissed him delicately. "I love you, too," he replied before kissing her once more. "I'll be right here when you get back." Erin nodded before scurrying out to the store. As he waited for her to return, Dave pulled out his phone and texted Aaron. Jefferson Memorial on Black Friday. Try topping that.
She would kill him if she ever got wind of the fact that Aaron had not only figured out what they were playing at, but had also wanted to get in on the game. JJ wasn't quite as bold as Erin was, or so it seemed from the texts he and Aaron exchanged, but she did have a competitive streak in her that Aaron said was driving her to try things out that she normally wouldn't. It took a few moments, but then Aaron texted him back. Sounds like a great Thanksgiving weekend for you, then. See you Monday.
Chuckling, he waited for Erin to return to him. "Whatever has put that smile on your face, darling?" she purred as she sauntered over to him, wrapping her arm around his waist as she waited for his answer. Chuckling a little, Dave bent down and kissed the top of her head. "Well?"
"Aaron was just asking how our Thanksgiving was going. This was his first holiday as a blended family, after all."
"Ours, too," she quietly replied. "Though it must be harder for them, since their kids are so much younger than mine."
"They'll get used to it, though. Now, what would you say to an early lunch, and then heading home for a little bit more sedate fun?" She shook her head. "Then what?"
"I want to walk along the water for a little while. And then, maybe, you'll be up for round two before we head home, since I have been left hanging without a release." She gave him a wicked grin, and Dave cleared his throat a little as he tugged at the lapels of his coat. "I mean, I want to have something to give thanks for, Davie." Winking broadly, she leaned in and kissed him passionately. In the background, he heard someone wolf whistle, and then Erin was laughing against his lips, her arms tightening around his waist as she held him closer.
"I think that you are going to end up giving me a heart attack one of these days, Erin," he finally managed to gasp out when she had stepped back from him, looking up into his face. "But then, you look at me like that, and all I want to do is lose myself in you."
"I often want to lose myself in you, too, David. Now, let's head for the Washington Monument. Maybe seeing that will inspire you to think about my needs. I mean, it is a…tall…building." He choked on his breath as he looked at Erin, seeing the saucy grin on her face as she danced away from him, heading down to the water before pausing to look at him over her shoulder. The look of love and desire on her face stole his breath away, and he allowed his face to relax into a matching grin as he finally started towards her.
"You wife is beautiful," a younger woman said as he passed her, and he nodded at the redhead.
"Isn't she, though?" he replied, watching the young woman nod in response before heading in the opposite direction of them. It didn't take that long to get to her side, and he kissed her lightly before leading her towards the Washington Monument. "You have an admirer, Erin."
"Oh?"
"Yeah, that young woman I said something to called you beautiful. Should I be worried about that?" he teased, and she shook her head as she lightly smacked his chest. "Seriously, Erin, love and desire make you glow, and the fact that others appreciate that about you makes my heart happy. Even if she assumed that we were married already."
Erin nodded and then looked over his shoulder. "She is pretty, too. Though I am a one-man woman, Davie, so I don't think that we could spice up our love life that way." Turning her face up to look at him, she winked broadly before pinching his bum lightly, laughing throatily at his high-pitched yelp. "You are too easy to tease, my soon to be husband. I will definitely have to keep that in mind as we continue to indulge our more decadent side."
Gulping, he nodded before leaning down and kissing the tip of her nose. "I cannot wait to decide how to up today's ante, Erin. Because this was the most risk that we've taken yet, on our little cavorts around town." She nodded and arched an eyebrow upwards, and he knew that things were about to get very interesting.
