~...The Outlaws' Camp...~

"Please, please, tell me you're joking." I pleaded, tilting my head as I watched the outlaws 'armour up' in their own way.

"No, I'm not." Robin confirmed, chuckling to himself.

"Why?"

It'd been a few weeks since the groups successful attempt on the strong-room, and mine and Allan's agreement. Which meant it should've at least been a month or so since I'd come to the woods, yet they still insisted on keeping me here. While I had to admit, the passed few days hadn't gone too well for me, I had survived, which was the main point at the end of it all. But, while they went to retrieve young Daniel from the sheriffs clutches, I was forced to stay back at camp - again. It wasn't as though I was asking to come along with them, all I was asking was to see Matilda and Rosa, but they denied me that. According to Robin it was too 'risky'. I knew that was complete crap, since the sheriff and all of his men would be attending the swap taking place, so I didn't see the trouble with it. But I knew that while I didn't, he'd find a way to create one. And, unfortunately for me, his loyal outlaws would be there to defend him.

"Why? After your little 'act' the other day you should consider yourself lucky I don't tie you to the post."

"It was a harmless little walk, that's all." I sighed, crossing my arms.

"I'm not bein' funny or anythin', but it didn' sound too harmless when we found out what 'appened." Allan interjected, leaning back against one of the wooden posts. A few of the others muttered words of agreement, causing Robin to grin.

"Once, just once could one of you please take my side in this argument." I said, rolling my eyes at the group.

"When you start making a good point, we will." Djaq shrugged.

"I do make a good point!" I exclaimed, while the others objected. "I've made an excellent point; Women shouldn't be isolated and alone in the same place for too long. While I do admit my walk hadn't exactly gone as planned, it was the most freedom I've ever gotten from you. Just let me see Matilda."

Robin paused, as though thinking it over, and my hopes actually rose for a moment. It was such a shame I didn't have a better grip on reality. "I'm sorry Prim, but Gisborne's seen you. After another week or so I'm sure we can let you out alone again." He finally replied. But at least he had the decency to sound apologetic.

"Fine." I sighed, crossing my arms as I fell down onto the make-shift bed.

"Are you sure you're going to stay put this time?" He pressed, eyes narrowed.

Rolling my eyes, I took this moment to glance at the other outlaws, only to find them watching me with the same suspicion. It was irritating, but I knew why they had their doubts about me staying here.

"I swear." His disbelieving expression, however, remained. Along with the others. "Would tying me up ease your worries?"

"It actually would." Much shyly piped up, shrugging his shoulders.

"I wasn't serious!" I exclaimed. "I won't get into trouble, I promise."

"I'm not bein' funny or anythin', but that's what you said last time." Allan pointed out.

I let out a loud groan and let my head 'thud' back against the post.

~...Sherwood Forest...~

"Just keep running, just keep running," I repeated to myself, sprinting as fast as I could through the forest.

It must've been a sign, because who could've had this much bad luck? Unfortunately, I seemed to. My first day of freedom, my first day after many weeks of being stuck in the camp that I was allowed out - alone. And what decided to happen? I had the misfortune of stumbling across a secret weapon. Gisborne's secret weapon - Armour that could not be penetrated by an arrow or sword. And with me being as curious as I was, I had to stay and watch, see just how good the armour was. But someone else must've been seeing the same thing, since it wasn't my gasp that echoed through the forest once Gisborne slayed the armour tester. However, it was still me that the man in black spotted, and it was me that was being hunted through the forest.

Looking back to see if Gisborne had gotten any closer, I failed to concentrate on what was in front of me, and I found myself falling. The fall only lasted about three seconds, but the impact of myself 'thudding' against the ground hurt more than anything, mainly because I landed on my front.

"Psst,"

I groaned and pushed myself up, turning my head to see a young boy behind me, pressed up against the dirt wall. Like me, he was panting, and I knew that he'd been the one to also witness Gisborne's 'weapon'.

"Who are you?" He whispered to me.

Instead of replying to his question, I narrowed my eyes in concentration, listening for the sounds. And only a few seconds later, the sound of hooves reached my ears. I immediately crouched down next to the boy, attempting to get as close as I could to the wall and away from the open.

"Come on out," Gisborne's voice rang out, causing me and the boy to flinch. "You can trust me, I'm Lord of Locksley."

There was a long pause for a moment, only the sounds of birds being heard, before I finally heard the sounds I'd longed to hear. The hooves began to fade away and I sighed in relief, letting my body slide down onto the grass below my feet.

"Thank god." I uttered, glancing at the boy beside me.

He had, however, moved forward into the open and aimed his smaller bow and arrow towards Gisborne. And I knew that if he missed, we'd both be hanged. And just as I moved to stop him, another larger hand appeared out of nowhere, gripping the end of the bow.

"Shush." Robin instructed, in a small attempt to calm the boy.

"Get away from me." The boy demanded, turning his aim towards Robin.

"I know you, you were Marian's table-boy at Knighton Hall."

"How do you know that?"

Robin sighed and looked back over the drop, checking to make sure Gisborne had disappeared before turning back. "What happened? I know Gisborne's up to something 'cause I've been tracking him... and Prim."

My eyes widened in disbelief and I glared at the outlaw. He'd been tracking me?

"I don't trust you." The boy stated, arrow still aimed.

"Alright, tell me your name."

"Daniel."

"Daniel. Do you know who I am?"

Daniel shook his head. "No."

"I'm Robin Hood."

The arrow was immediately lowered and Daniel stared at Robin, his expression a mix of amazement and disbelief. Obviously the boy had heard of Robin, though I couldn't say I was all too surprised. And, while the boy got over his small shock, I released my anger onto the outlaw.

"You were following me?" I hissed, smacking his arm.

"Of course, I needed to make sure you were safe on your own, and it's a good thing I did." He replied, lightly rolling his eyes at me.

"I was fine." I insisted, crossing my arms in annoyance. "And I saw what Gisborne was doing if you were going to ask."

"Yes, I could tell how well you appeared to be while running for your life." Was his sarcastic reply, earning an eye-roll from myself. "And yes, I assumed you'd also seen what he was doing. But Daniel here may be the easier person to discuss this with."

"Gisborne's got my friends." The young boy finally spoke up. "He's got my friends."

"I can help you with your friends, but I need you to tell me what you saw." Robin told him.

"A man. They shot him, but he didn't die, the arrows bounced off. And then Gisborne killed him with a knife. And now he's gonna kill my friends,"

"Woah, woah, woah. The arrows bounced off what?"

"Armour, he was wearing armour. This funny armour." Daniel replied.

Robin nodded slowly in thought. "Right well, lets go see about your friends shall we?"

Daniel nodded eagerly and we all got to our feet, Robin and I leading Daniel back towards the camp.

"Robin," I sighed, earning his attention. "You wont tell the others about this will you?"

"Of course I'm telling them, and we're having a very big discussion about your curiosity issues." He stated.

I rolled my eyes but nodded, walking the rest of the way in silence.
