Gray was sitting on the rocks on the shoreline, trying to clear his thoughts. He was staring at the waves in the endless blue waters of the ocean and he didn't hear Juvia, when she had sat next to him, until she said his name,
"Gray-sama.." her voice sounded so worried, and still - somehow hurt. Without moving his gaze away from the ocean, he said,
"What is it, Juvia?"
"Juvia is worrie about you. What is troubling Gray-sama?" He moved his eyes on her, only to find her gaze glued on him, worried notes in her deep blue eyes.
"Don't worry about me. It's just.." he sighted, "I don't deserve your attention at all, Juvia.."
"But, Gray-sama, Juvia loves you. That's why she's giving you all of her attention.."
"That's the problem, Juvia." Her eyes filled with tears. "No, it's not you. Don't cry." He once again stared at the water. "It's me.."
"Tell Juvia, Gray-sama. She'll do anything to help you." he sighted again,
"I just.. can't get my thoughts clean.. I mean.. I'm not sure about my feelings.."
"Towards who, Gray-sama?"
Gray looked back at her,
"I'm not sure I understand what you mean.."
"You're not sure about your feelings towards who, Gray-sama?" Once again, tears started forming in her eyes. He looked her straight into the eyes,
"Towards you, Juvia.." he smiled, but it was a small sad smile.
"If it will help, Juvia wants to tell Gray-sama that she will always love him, no matter what.."
"I know, Juvia. And I don't wanna hurt you. That's why I wanna get my thoughts clear.."
They stayed in silence for few more minutes whe Gray broke it,
"Now we are a lot closer than when you first joined the Guild. We became friends, maybe even more. But the thing is, I'm not ecsacly sure how much more than friends.."
Juvia didn't know how to answer, so they remained silent again for a while. Then Gray spoke again,
"Will you get mad at me if I try something, Juvia?" He looked at her face, which was now more beautiful than ever, with the breeze waving her soft blue hair and the sun making her pale skin shine.
"Juvia will never be mad at her Gray-sama!"
He slowly caught her face in both his hands and looked at her, now sparkling, blue eyes. He then leaned closer and kissed her soft pink lips. At first, she was shocked, but then she realized what just had happened, she closed her eyes and answered him by opening a little her mouth to let a quiet moan out. He suddenly pulled away with a blushed face. Juvia opened her eyes,
"Gray-sama, what's the matter? Isn't Juvia good enough for you?"Tears sparkled in her eyes once again. He smiled softly,
"The place of my best friend is already taken by that flame-idiot. And I don't really think that you are the person for that role in my life. I think I've figured out my feelings towards you." His smile grew wider. Few tears fel over Juvia's sides,
"Does.. does Gray-sama.. hate Juvia?"
He let out a small laught,
"No, silly. I meant I love you. Can we.. I dunno.. start dating or something?"
Juvia's face became redder than Erza's scarlet hair. Her lips formed a really wide and happy smile,
"Juvia will be really happy to date her Gray-sama!" He smirked, then put his arm around her shoulders and pulled her closer,
"Tis ocean, somehow, reminds me about you. Maybe that's the reason why I like this place so much.."
