Haruka Shiraga, normal 16 year old right? WRONG! This 16 year old happens to be a prodigy in music! Born with the ability to play and write music, it's not odd to think that she'll follow in the footsteps of her famous father, a pianist. Just what will happen when she decides to attend high school at the prestigious Ouran Academy? *REWRITTEN*

((A/N: Oh god...I'm so sorry you guys! I just wasn't feeling the Teacher as a Host thing anymore and the more I thought about it, the more it didn't make sense to me. I was like "What the heck!?" Oh, I changed a few things to match the new OC. She's still a bit...British and a Tsundere, but with a new name!

HS: I never agreed to this. *frowns*

KAS: I never asked you :P Anyways, feel free to read the rewritten version of 100% Music Born. Man, I gotta rename this story. How about...Oresama Music? Nah...Brand New Breeze? ...Meh... How about...I'll think of something! It has to relate to the KyoHaru...wait a minute...*slaps self* I DON'T MEAN HARUHI! I got to admit, it's cute ship but that's not in the story. I ship TamaHaru so much more . Let's go with KyoRuka or something. :3

HS: It's not my cup of tea. Can't you think of anything better, you git?

KAS: How dare you say that to me!? HMPH! I don't know OHSHC, Bisco Hatori has that privalege. ))

Chapter 1 - Welcome to Ouran Academy!

((Sixteen Years Ago))

Way beyond the life of the bright city of Tokyo was the countryside. Most city folk don't realize much of the peace that resides with the people that live there. Another advantge towards this relazing scene would be most people that live in this land also belonged to those of high power and fame.

Beyond the bright city lies a house surrounded with as much plant life as possible and the residents were the Shiraga family. Everyday, their home would be surrounded with as much music as possible. Music ranging from classical Beethoven, Mozart, Vivaldi, Liszt, Debussy and many more, to the music of today. The family are a well respected bunch by the community. This family appreciated music so much that very few members have become devoted to the business - a small business it may seem, but not unoticed.

Today, Shou Shiraga and his beloved wife, Estella, decided to sit down and have a nice relaxing cup of tea in the parlor that gave light and meant for relaxation and had a beautiful view of the garden and the forest not too far away in view. Shou Shiraga is a very handsome man despite his age. Like most Japanese males, his hair color was black and very neatly cut. However, it wasn't his neat attire or his gentlemanly manner that people noticed about him, it were his eyes that caught everyone's attention - a pure light icy blue color that was parcially hidden by his rectangle rimmed glasses. And the mole on the right side of his lower lip. Everyone knew who he was since he was the nations most famous pianist.

"How are you doing today my love?" He asked gently to his wife as he wrapped his arms around the blonde haired woman's round belly. In another room were the five sons that they had together. From oldest to youngest: Natsu, Yuuki, Arata, Fuyu, and Ikuto. They were very happy that they were blessed with five sons, but it felt uncomplete. Estella layed her hand on top of her husbands and smiled at him so lovingly - they were the type of couple that loved each other to the ends of the earth. You know, all that mushy gushy stuff.

"In a few weeks, our new child will be born." She said as she felt her husband rub her belly and quickly kissed her cheek.

"What do you want it to be this time, my dear?" Shou asked even though he knew the answer to that. This family needed another female touch and maybe this time, the couple would get lucky.

"I would like this one to be a girl..."

~-.~-.~-.~-.~

This would be a day that they would remember. Shou stood next to his wife, holding onto her hand as she squeezed so hard that it might have turned purple now. Their five sons, all waiting patiently and looking after each other as a new member of the family will be coming into the world. As if it took forever, the cries of the child could be heard from behind the door and the boys cheered, hugging each other and smiling at the fact that they would be getting a new baby sister or brother.

"Congradulations, Mr and Mrs. Shiraga. It's a healthy baby girl." The doctor said, handing the newborn to the nurse who carefully wrapped her with a clean sheet and cleaned her up nicely to then give the girl to her parents, all in happy tears. The newborn quieted down when Estella had her in her arms and carefully touched the smooth and fair skin of her child.

"Our first daughter..." Shou said as he was now holding the little baby girl in his arms and gently whispered a beautiful name for the little girl, even more beautiful than what Estella had in mind.

"Hello Haruka." Shou smiled, slowly craddling the child and blinded by the way his wife was watching him grin like a fool in front of their newborn.

'Haruka...what a pretty name...'

((Sixteen Years later))

The outside weather was just perfect; it wasn't too hot or too cold for an early spring day. This time of year would be a time all students of Japan would be returning to school. As for one though, it would be her first time going to school. Everyone knows who her family is; they are the famous Shiraga family that are known for their love of music - you could say they're music nerds but don't lose it alright? The girls father move the family out to the countryside to get away from the city life and to make sure the children wouldn't be influenced by that life so easily and her mother agreed. Being the only daughter is hard and very tiring when your doting family tells you every day that they love you more than air itself or you're the love of their life. All five of her older siblings already act as father figures and she didn't really want any more. Recently, it was mentioned that this girl was going to school for the first time in her life in her country of birth. The reason for that is through her whole elementary and middle school life, she'd been studying abroad with a few aquaintances of her father in Europe. After some begging and convincing, her parents finally were able to let her go to an actual high school as she's beginning high school this year. The high school she was to go to was Ouran Academy, a private school that had the nations richests sons and daughters attending. One good reason that she'll be attending is that some close friends of her father worked at the school and his brother-in-law, a fellow pianist and composer, worked as a music teacher there and would happily look after her there.

Haruka wasn't really up for the idea and yet at the same time, she didn't protest to it. She decided she would move to the city in order to get closer and attend school despite her family not agreeing to it until she suggested she'd move into her uncles house since he and his wife only have one kid and it wouldn't be much trouble. She was right now in her room looking for more things to pack for her stay at her uncles house. Several of her suitcases were already downstairs and here she was looking at her once lively room now turned to a simple room with barely anything, a few of her music sheets were scattered about on the floor, but before there were dozens of them around. It's not like Haruka was going to be gone forever, she was just going to a private high school. Packing the last bit of clothing she was going to take, she closed the black suitcase and headed out her room and down the stairs where she stopped midway and thought for a moment.

"What will this day be like? I wonder, what will my future be?" She lightly sang and headed out the door, saying goodbye to her family outside.

"Do you have everything you need, darling?" Estella asked her, trying to clean up her face a little more than necessary. Haruka rolled her eyes and nodded her head at the previous question.

"Yes, I do. Have you heard of dad?" The black haired girl asked in a slight British accent. Looking closely and thinking clearly, you could tell from first glance that this was Shou Shiraga's daughter. Haruka had the same neat and elegant black hair and they shared the same shining icy blue eyes that some questioned if they were both foreigners, which they weren't.

"He's in England right now and he'll be home in a week from now." Her mother answered a little sadly though she wanted to sound more happy and sincere, but it was proving to be difficult. Haruka noticed this sadness and tried to smile her best to confort her mother whom smiled back sincerely and shook off the sadness.

"You know, the week will fly by soon and he'll be here. I know it." Haruka said and Estella agreed. It didn't take long for a sleek silver car to drive by, revealing the driver to be Haruka's uncle, Roderich. Roderich Edelstein was a friend that her father met in Europe for a competition and they became both close friends and rivals. Sometimes, they were called "Mozart and Hayden" due to their friendship together and that friendship turned to brotherhood because Roderich ended up marrying Shou's sister. The Austrian smiled at his niece and waved at Estella, quickly getting out of the car and helped put the suitcases in the trunk.

"Are you ready, Haruka?" Roderich asked and his response was a determined nod and they were quickly on their way to the city where Estella watched the car drive away with Haruka opening a window and peekeder head out of it and started waving goodbye.

"Bye Mom! I'll call you later or something!" She yelled and quickly sat down to see her Austrian uncle frowning.

"How unlady like Haruka. A girl does not stick her head out the window."

"I'm sorry uncle."

~-.~-.~-.~-.~

It didn't take them long for them to reach Roderich's home; it was similar to her own home except there were no neighbors. The city was huge just as she had imagined when they passed through. Roderich's wife, Haruka's aunt and father's sister, Sara, was standing out the door with their fourteen year old, Reiji.

"Haruka! It's so good to see you again!" Sara said, already enveloping the teenaged girl in a hug when she stepped out the car to greet her hosts properly. It seemed she was having trouble breathing that Reiji had to pry his mother off his cousin. She apologized quickly and quickly took a good look at the blue eyed girl.

"Look at you! You really are the splitting image of your father!" Haruka's aunt said and all of them took some of her luggage to her new room and on top of her bed so she'll unpack. The family left her to unpack after telling her dinner will be ready in a minute. She nodded and opened the windows to let in the cool breeze of today roll in to the room. Finally, away from the family house and moving in to a school here in Japan. Hopefully things will turn out for the best!

((Haruka's POV))

Ouran Academy, a school where the nations richest attend.

What a beautiful time for a normal sixteen year old girl! That is, if I was a normal girl to begin with. Uncle Roderich went on ahead to the school early while I stayed to get myself ready and eat a bit of breakfast. Reiji already left because during the school break, he joined a sport and it was mandatory to arrive early to school and practice. Aunt Sara aways commented on how different those two are and yet how similar they are. Her son does play the piano like Uncle, but he barely plays which Uncle is cheesed off [1] about it.

Getting out of script here, if you see those bracets, those are the authors info numbers. She does those when there's need of translation and for you all to understand. Anyway, back to the story.

Being droven to the school was really different than back at London. I would just walk to school and try not to attract to much attention and right now. Either way, I was going to school. It really didn't take long to get there for the great Ouran Academy was not hard to miss because it had this aura of greatness that my father had described. He said that private school in japan or anywhere in general isn't something to take lightly, especially Ouran Academy since it's the school that most rich kids got to because of their parents and such. I don't know all the details since I bothered to pretend to be posh [2]. I know who I am.

I quickly stepped out of the car and walked the same direction most Ouran students were walking and all of a sudden all of this nervousness just woke me up. What's even worse was that some of these chaps and birds [3] noticed that I was new here. Get it together Haruka, you're only here to study and become father's successor! That's right, I'm to be father's successor in the music world since he's the one who taught me how to play the piano - I'm too follow his footsteps because that's what everyone expects me to do; I'm to play the same in those symphony orchestras.

One of my first stops was the office to get my schedule and the receptionist that was there was very kind and noticed my name and wanted me to tell my father that she enjoys his music. I nodded and told her that he'd be very glad of such praise. She quickly gave my schedule and a map since I was very new to this school and didn't know my way around this place. God forbid that this place is bigger than Buckingham Palace. I took a glimpse at the top of my schedule and noticed that I was put in place of class 1-A; I had to keep walking and look at the map to direct me to the number of the classroom and it took me a good while to get there before I stopped in front of a door and checked that this was the right room for me to be in.

'Okay Haruka! This is it! Time to show those wankers [4] whose strong!' I thought and pushed the door open and watched as every eye turned towards me and then looked toward the teacher of the class, who happened to smile at me and motioned me to move forward to the front of the class.

"Miss Shiraga, why don't you present yourself to the class?" The teacher asked me and I nodded in agreement. I gave the best smile I could muster and looked to the class, whom were already whispering at the mention of my name and wondered if it was the same Shiraga that's the same pianist.

"Hello everyone. I'm Haruka Shiraga, it's a great pleasure to meet all of you." I bowed slightly and the whispers turned to full on chinese whispers [5] at the mention of my name, which I get a lot. Father is real famous, I tell you.

"Thank you, Miss Shiraga and it's a pleasure for you to be in our class. Let's find you a seat...uh...sit next to Fujioka if you would." The teacher politely told me and I did as she told me, walking to this Fujioka person that had their hand raised to know who the heck they were and quickly took my seat next to him. Oops, I mean her.

This is going to be an interesting year after all.

"Hello Shiraga-san, I'm Haruhi Fujioka." The brunette said to me with a friendly smile that reminded me of Aunt Sara that I couldn't help, but smile back to it.

"Nice to meet you Haruhi. I would prefer if you call me Haruka, Shiraga-san is my father." I told her and understood that. We both faced the front of the class and the teacher told me that if I ever need anything, I could always just ask her or Haruhi or the class represenatives. Wow, this atmosphere is different than the one back in London. The teachers were nice and the friends I made were great, but...

'Bloody foreigner! Go back to where you come from!'

'Look! It's the musical twit!'

No. Things are going to be different from now on here at Ouran! I'm not going to act all weak like in London. I'm not the same little girl from before! Besides, my family made sure I came here because Uncle Roderich is here. I can talk to him whenever I have trouble with anything and he specifically told me that he will not choose favorites and will not let me off easy if I end up making a mistake in his classes.

~-.~-.~-.~-.~

My last class of the day was with Uncle Roderich and all of the other students were whispering, muttering how attractive he was even though he could hear them. He's call "Mozart" by my father for a reason you know and other whispers were about me since I was the new student here at Ouran. My uncle cleared his throat loud enough to be heard by the students that were still whispering and it all turned silent when he stood up and looked at everyone very carefully.

"As you all know, there happens to be a new student here at Ouran. Mr. Shiraga, would you please stand up?" He asked and I did as I was told, quickly bowing at my fellow peers and I sat back down. Uncle still kept a straight face and went on about how I was his niece to which my peers were about to say something about it until Uncle interupted them.

"Just because she's my niece doesn't mean he'll recieve special treatment. She'll be treated with the strict teaching that I'll give to you all this year. I will not tolerate any horseplay around here and I expect everyone to be kind and curtious to everyone and I mean everyone, understood?"

"Yes, Mr. Edelstein."

"Good. First lesson today, music notation! Music notation is the art of recording music in written form. Modern music notation is a product of centeries of transformation and it's either ineffective nor intuitive. Before you were all born, before I was born or even your great great grandparents, instead of the music notes that you see today in music, they started out as tiny dots and there was no sheet music either."

One thing uncle is really passionate about is music theory, it's really fun actually despite being strict. He also likes Austrian singer, Falco [6]. Don't worry Uncle Roderich, I like him too.

I know I said this before but I might as well say it again because it's so fun. This year is going to be different and it's going to be interesting.

((A/N: WHOO! Eight pages. I really wanted to the the double digits, but I'll settle with eight. So...is it a little better? I'm sorry, I've never been a great writer of third POV except in reader-inserts. *bows down* And I'm also sorry I ignored this story for...two years? Yeah, two years. I've been thinking long and hard about this story and it has never left my mind. I just been trying to think of a better way to make the story more enjoyable and more awesome to read, you know?

HS: At least you now apologized to the readers. I was left here all alone while you were writing a Free! reader-insert, a Black Butler reader-insert, another OHSHC story with a whole different OC, a Harry Potter Fanfic with an OC and there's also your little projects on DeviantArt.

KAS: *hit by all the arrows and now lying on the ground* Well, sorry! When I have a great idea and it must be written down, I must make a story about it before someone else steals it!"

HS: You overreact too much. Can you translate the British Slang please? Some people are actually interested in that than your sorry excuse of an apology for leaving me here with no author.

KAS: Okay okay. Take it easy! Alright,

[1] - Cheesed off - It's a polite way of saying you're pissed off about something.

[2] - Posh - It roughly translates to High Class. (Posh Spice).

[3] - Bird - Girl. Put fit and it's a girl who's pretty good looking. A fit bloke would be the male equivilant.

[4] - Wankers - A derogotory term to describe someone as being a jerk. It's acutal meaning is someone who...masterbates and there's also a handsignal to go along with it. It's a term useful when driving.

[5] - Chinese Whispers - A passed along story that changes from person to person. Sound familar?

[6] - Falco - A popular singer originally from Austria and whom was the first German speaking male singer who got a number 1 hit single in the U.S in the 80's (The song was Rock Me Amadeus, I believe :3). Some of his famous songs are: Rock Me Amadeus, Jeanny, America, Der Kommisarr (Has a rewritten English version, not from the same artist though) and my personal favorites, Vienna Calling and Wiener Blut - Die Medizin. He died due to a car crash in the early 90's abroad (I think).

Well I guess that's it! See you guys in the next chapter!))

Chapter 2 - Meeting Tamaki Suoh!

((A/n: *dancing to a falco song and ignoring my family yelling for me to stop being creepily happy* Hello! Whoa! Vienna calling! Caling! Hello Whoa! Vienna Calling! Vienna Calling!

Oh sorry, it's my favorite song despite me not knowing the lyrics. Although, I do like the song and I did look up the translation. However, I like it when I don't know and I can pretty much guess from the English he sung. (The song is one of the reasons I really want to go to Vienna...cause it's calling me!)

HS: I understand very well what you're going through Kaiser. I like Rock Me Amadeus as well, since it's about Austria's most celebrated and famous son. I also get intriged by the country and it's history...about music and food. *thinking about the tea and coffee*

KAS: Oh you. You're making me want to illegally want to move to Austria. Arnold would not like that. XDD Okay, I'm going to shut up now and let the readers read the story. Enjoy everyone!))

The next day after my first day, it was even better. Instead of just me eating my lunch with my uncle, which is really sad if you ask me, I was invited by Haruhi to eat lunch with her despite some girls giving me the cold shouler.

Crickey [1]. Please don't ever get in trouble with girls, gents.

I'm not much of a cook and I do practice a lot witht he help of Arata, my third eldest brother that has become a culinary icon in the world of food and moved to Paris because he says "It's the best country in the world! The best food comes from France and the best food in France comes from Paris!" in a french accent. He's not even bloody French! That twit.

Any who, I sat next across from Haruhi, the two of us talking about some exams coming along and talking about our favorite classes and such. We were actually getting along quiet well if you ask me and then she asked me a question I get from time to time.

"Are you a foreigner? Your eyes are blue and your accent, I mean." She commented and I laughed about it. Well, it's not my fault that I inherited my fathers looks and that I was sent to London to study for the last sixteen years of my life. I must have confused Haruhi because she was giving me that look that was utterly confused and wanted an answer.

"Sorry about that. I just get that question a lot. I inherited my looks from my father and the accent, I spend most of my sixteen years abroad in England."

"That explains the British accent. What did you go abroad for anyways if you don't mind me asking?"

"I studied the normal cirriculum like every other student and took up some private music lessons; it was also a private school due to my Dad and Mum. It was nice at first until I got really homesick and decided to come back to Japan and attend school here." I explained as carefully as possible since I still was a bit...tramatized by what happened back at school. Haruhi listened carefully and it was the first time, other than Victoria and Arthur (friends I had back in London), someone listened to me. I guess it was a jolly good [2] idea to come to Japan to attend high school, everyone is really polite and I still haven't encountered anyone that dislikes me yet. Uncle is really supportive too and his family really treats me well here in the city.

'You must become the best my little Haruka. You are a genius! You are to be a genius when you get older. Haruka, you must succeed me when I no longer can play.'

'We are not finishing this lesson until you memorize the song! We'll be all night if we have to.'

Classical music. My whole world revolves around classical music. If it's not perfect and not played to what the composer intended, then what's the point in playing it. Dad simply calls all other genres of music "total rubbish [3] and corrupt" while Uncle Roderich call them "expressive and independent". It's not that I don't like classical music, I do like it, but I want to try other different types of genres and behind my father's back, I've been practicing and playing songs of today instead of playing Rachmaninoff, Vivaldi, Listz, Bach and Beethoven. I want to play Elfman, Horner, Copeland, Williams, Dvorak, Doyle; the composers of today that come from those OST from all-time favorite movies. I want to play pop, rock, indie, alternative - any genre of music if I can!

Dad calls it a phase to get interested into modern music and that I would grow out of it once I get older and practice more of his favorites. Each time do though, I never get to experience that happiness that I've had from before when I played Vivaldi's Four seasons or Beethovens Fur Elise anymore. I got more excitement when I played the Harry Potter theme song or Pirates of the Carribbean. However, as the only child that inherrited his ability to play music, I have no say and I must continue playing what he wants me to play.

"Haruhi!" Someone yelled from far away and the said girl's face turned to a surprised one, but she didn't seem fazed or anything when the person who yelled her name came to the table and hugged her in some kind of bear hug.

"MY DARLING LITTLE HARUHI! HOW ARE YOU?! DADDY MISSED YOU!" Believe me, I'm just as confused, but in some relationships I think, they have nicknames for the significant other. I hight doubt they're in that type of relationship since Haruhi seems to be believed a boy at this school; the poor thing.

"Senpai, please get off! It's very rude to do so in front of her and I can't breathe." She said and the blonde bloke took a few moments to process what she had meant and then looked at my direction. He seemed to smile and then made his way next to me. Next thing I knew, he had a rose in his hand and presented it in front of me with a charming smile, not as charming as a classic British gentleman though. Blimey [4] , now they know how to make a girl swoon! Oh dear, I think I'm getting swooned now just talking about them.

"Hello, my dear. I have not seen you around the school. You must be that new student the entire school has been talking about. Here, I give you this rose for it reminds me of your beauty." Under any normal circumstances, I might have swooned over for this fit [5] bloke because the rose he held might have been an English Rose, but something deep in my thoughts told me not to because he reminded me of someone that didn't dare to remember. I did take the rose since it would be such a waste to throw a perfectly good and healthy flower away

"Um...thank you...I'm sorry I didn't quite catch your name." I said and watched as he jumped back lightly and started rambling on how ungentlemanly of him to not introduce himself properly. He did give me his name, Tamaki Suoh.

'Tamaki Suoh...Tamaki Suoh...Suoh...where have I heard that name before...?' I asked myself in thought while this blonde bloke asked me for my name. I was going to come back to the previous thought later because it was rude to not answer a guy (unless he's real tosser [6]) that asked you something. Well, at least that's what my ettiquete tutor told me in London.

"I'm Haruka Shiraga. It's nice to meet you, Tamaki." I said and he smiled at me as he went back to talking to Haruhi as I just started pulling out a few music sheets and began looking over them and seeing if they were right. Sometimes, it really amazes me how far we have come in music notation like Uncle Roderich explained yesterday. Before, they were just dots and slashes and three lines! Three lines that were red, yellow and blue! I was so into my little rant of music that I didn't notice two types of eyes on me as I was tapping my fingers to match the way I would play on the piano and that's when I looked up see a fasinated Tamaki and a interested Haruhi.

"Is something wrong?" I asked them while I sweat dropped and followed the direction of their eyes and saw that they were looking at my music sheets that I've been working on for quite a while. Originally, it was a classical piece, but behind my father's back, I changed it to a light hearted song and easy to listen to. What, just because I was raised in Great Britan, the country of rules and manners, doesn't mean that it isn't also the birthplace of dubstep and the beatles!

"Did you write this?" Tamaki asked me and I could do nothing, but nod and took my trusty pencil that has helped me write so many other songs with. It was my lucky green pencil that I never leave home without. Wherever I go, I make sure to take it with me and to make sure I never lose it, I put it in my satchel that I always carry around. In that satchel, I also carry several books and my ipod that I daily put music in. Yep, my ipod filled with a lot of Beetles, Coldplay, and so many other artists...

"This is magnificent, Haruka! Do you mind if...?" He exclaimed that everyone, well with the exception of the cafeteria staff, turned their heads toward our directions and I just didn't want to be the center of attention...yet...Tamaki was practically asking me if he could take my song...

"As long as you give it back, Tamaki-kun!" I said in the sweetest voice I could muster that he celebrated and started running off to God know where. My inner thoughts were practically yelling at me for not able to refuse his request, but I'm raised to have manners to gentlemen. I have to be polite..but that didn't mean I could mutter under my breath.

"Cheeky [7] bastard." I said that, hopefully, Haruhi didn't hear me. I'm glad that she didn't because she was still talking about how Tamaki is so carefree and such.

...Suoh...

Suoh...

! Oh my god...!

"HE'S YUZURU SUOH'S SON!" Oh my god...why did I just realize that now?!

((A/n: Hey guys! Kaiser Author San II is here and ready to update this story now! First off, translations!
