Tori

It's Jade's Birthday. She is turning 27 I can't believe that It has been eight years since we've met. Eight years. She saved me from My misery, and obscurity and propelled me to places that I never thought I would go.

You would think with her sour nature, she would have been happy to just have us live in our own little world. Keeping the rest of the world away. It was my inclination, but she just. She is the most amazing woman in the world.

I lay beside My wife and watch in fascination. Wondering if she looked at me like this. I reached out and stroked her smooth bare belly My son shifted inside her, and she stirred. My egg her brother's sperm have made our second child possible. She looked at me and smiled. She reached out her hand and pulled my head toward her and we kissed slowly. "Good morning," I murmurred.

"Hey," she said. "He's not here yet, you lose the bet."

I laughed softly. "The day is young yet." I leaned in and kissed her. "Happy birthday Baby."

"Sure is!" She said and stretched. There was a knock on the door.

"Mami! Are you dressed?" Liv shouted from the other side.

I laughed and slid out of bed reaching for Jade's clothes and slipping my sweats over my nakedness. "She knows us too well."

"Well at least she is knocking now." Jade retorted pulling her night gown over her head.

I turned to check if Jade had her's on and said. "Come on in."

My little girl walked in with a big smile on her face. Her long dark brown hair was cascading down her back. She was missing three teeth so her smile was the cutest thing ever. "Happy Birthday mama!" she says to Jade and Hugs her.

Jade's smile is bright and she closes those beautiful blue eyes taking Liv's love in. "Thank you baby."

"Nana Lauren and Abuela Patti helped me make you breakfast."

I smiled. "You made us breakfast?"

"Not you Mami, only for Momma" Live said.

I laughed. "I knew My grandmother liked you best Jade."

"She has a crush on my Tori, don't you know she and I have a greed to marry each other should anything happen to you and Lauren?" Jade stated with a smirk.

"Eww Jade come on."

"Your grandma is barely sixty and hot as hell… Just where do you think you got your looks from?" Jade laughed

"Seriously Jade…" I said wrinkling my nose. Then she leaned forward and kissed me. "We have the weirdest conversations sometimes."

Jade slid out of bed and faltered a little following Olivia. Her brow furrowed for a moment. She took a deep breath and continued to follow Olivia to the dining area. I quirked a brow… not here huh? "I think you will be owing me that car."

"He isn't coming it was a twinge." Jade mumbled and we greeted my grandmothers with hugs and kisses all around.

we had a pleasant breakfast. But Jade looked uncomfortable. I watched her throughout the morning. I know it's been a long time, but I had been where she is. She is in labor. she went into the bathroom as we got ready for an outing. I heard. "Oh god Tori come here."

"What's up?" I asked as I walked into the bathroom. When I peeked in, she showed me something a little scary looking. "Oh… that's normal, you are opening up jade he's gotta come out."

"Why is it all bloody?"

"Jade, remember it's the plug. The doctor told you about it." Jade is incredibly more nervous about this than she was with me. Grant it this time it's her, but it's interesting to see her like this.

"So we're okay. Good." Jade said. "Do you think I'm pretty?"

I laughed she knows I do. "Are you kidding me?" I asked and I notice she is seriously just scanning herself in the mirror. "Babe, you have never been more beautiful or sexy to me."

She turned to face me and kissed me. we made our way into the shower we had to get ready anyway. While we were into it. Jade stiffened. and I felt a warm gush on my hand despite the water hitting just right. we had only just begun to fool around. Jade never came so fast. Her breath sped up and her grip on my shoulders intensified. I removed my hand and lifted it and watched a trace of blood on my fingers. I looked down and a brownish liquid began to run down her leg.

I looked her in the eye. "I want a red one."

"It took forever with Liv he could be born tomorrow." I grinned and turned off the water. then helped her out of the shower.

"Let's get to the hospital."

Jade

I held on to Brice for two days before my water broke. I mean I had been having contractions regularly. but my water didn't break until my birthday. I could have held out one more day just so Tori wouldn't be right. But to tell the truth I would love to share my birthday with our little boy.

Tori drove me to the Hospital niche and calm. she was so calm that she made me be less snippy at the stupid questions they asked. I was in so much pain. Why can people tell you how this hurts. I feel like a freaking stuffed turkey my hips stretched my back aching. I feel like I need to poop but not wanting to do it because that thing will rip me to shreds.

Yet… that's not a really great description either.

I sat in the wheelchair before they take me to Labor and Delivery. I get another contraction and strain a little because it makes me feel better. I probably shouldn't. my pelvis began to feel really heavy. "Oh my god!" I said.

Tori turned to face me and saw the alarm on my face. "What is it?"

"Ohhhhh." was all I could say as my body involuntarily pushed Brice out. "I won't make it to the room."

"Wait!" Tori said her eyes wide. she looked around at all the cellphone cameras. I couldn't give a rats ass at the stupid cellphone camera's He is coming right now.

"Get a gurney!" one of the nurses said and came over to check on me. She put her hand over the crotch of my pants. "I can feel his head."

two other nurses helped me on to the gurney they had just brought it moved me just enough fro brice's entire head to come out of me. They pulled the pants down and went about cleaning his face. "Don't push right now."

I tried to stop the wave of pain that came. It pushed him out some more. His shoulder was a little hooked there but he moved, stretching his legs and arms. His shoulders slid out and so did the rest of him. In the hallway just outside the room. They wheeled us in and allowed Tori to cut the cord. She held me and rocked me. "Congratulations" Tori whispered in my ear. "You did it."

I kissed her softly and sighed in relief.

Brice was a beautiful little boy and we shared our birthdays. A little later in the evening Lauren and Patti brought 'Liv to see us and Brice. "Happy Birthday to you!" they sang bringing me a little cupcake. Shortly after My friends from Dits and Goth walked in. They were like family. They were my friends.

"We had planned a surprise party for you Jade." Tori said. "I guess the surprise was on us."

I laughed. "This is awesome." Then my mother walked in the room and hugged me to her. My brother George peeked over her shoulder.

"Let me see my nephew son." He said and watched the baby at a distance.

'Liv was fascinated by her brother that she didn't talk to anyone about the moment she saw him. "he is so cute" she said finally. it was more like a whisper than anything. Tori smiled and sat next to us and took my hand to kiss it.

I looked up at her and smiled. What a scene we made. Just one big happy family. Eight years ago my life had changed. I met a girl, I fell in love.
