I am SO sorry. To be honest, I got lazy, and I had state exams and regents to prepare for. Plus I have 2 summer assignments I have to do, and one of them is super long. So, please enjoy this chapter and again, I am extremely sorry :(

About an hour later, all the members of the Mystic Falls Gang were at the Salvatore Boarding House. Some of them looked bored, such as Lexi and Katherine, and some of them looked vaguely annoyed, like Alaric and Caroline.

"Okay," Caroline started, "what was so important that I had to stop shopping and speed over here?" She demanded, looking and sounding very angry that her shopping was interrupted.

"First of all Blondie, there are a lot of things that are way more important than shopping," Damon started. Caroline opened her mouth to retort but he cut her off before she could say anything. "And second of all, I have a great prank call idea," The blue eyed vampire finished with his typical smirk.

"And this couldn't have waited?" Jeremy asked, looking as annoyed as Caroline.

"No, it couldn't, Little Gilbert," Damon replied.

Lexi sighed. "Okay, what is your idea?" She asked.

"We call Elijah, and tell him that Katherine took the cure."

Several pairs of eyes stared at him. "What?" The blue eyed vampire asked. "It's a good plan!"

"So you made everyone drop what they were doing to come over here, just to hear that stupid idea?" Alaric asked slowly, using a tone that implied he was questioning Damon's sanity.

"It's not stupid! It's brilliant!"

"Oh yeah, Einstein?" Katherine spoke up. "Give me one good reason why I would take the cure? I quite enjoy being young and hot forever."

"Because you want to have a normal life. You want to settle down and have a family." Damon stated like it was obvious.

"Sorry to burst your bubble, but that's Elena, not me."

"That is true, but I'm perfectly fine being a vampire," Elena spoke up. Katherine raised her hand in Elena's direction and gave Damon an I told you so look.

"Oh come on, don't you want to know Elijah's reaction?" Damon said.

"You're not gonna let go of this idea, aren't you?" Matt questioned the vampire.

"Nope."

There was a collective sigh of the rest of the Mystic Falls Gang. "If we call him, will you stop talking about this idea and will you let us leave?" Stefan asked his brother, clearly annoyed.

"Yes!"

"Looks like we're calling Elijah," Lexi sighed, again.

Damon grabbed his cell phone off a nearby table. He unlocked his iPhone and clicked on the 'Contacts' app. He scrolled through the various names on the screen, which included the numbers of Alaric, Bonnie, Caroline and Elena. "Ah, here we are," he said, clicking Elijah's name and then his phone number which appeared on the screen.

"Hello?" Elijah answered.

"Hello, Elijah," Damon replied.

"Damon, what do you want?"

"I have to tell you something that is really important."

"Okay, what is it?"

Damon grinned. "Katherine took the cure. She wanted a normal life. She wanted to settle down and have kids."

Damon's response was met with silence. After a few seconds, Elijah said, "And why would Katherine take the cure? She enjoys being a vampire. This is a prank call, am I correct?"

Katherine, using her vampire speed, took Damon's phone. "Yes, this is a prank call. We all told Damon it was a stupid idea, but he insisted."

"It's not stupid!" Damon protested. "I thought he would fall for it!"

"Yeah, well, he didn't," Tyler said, getting up and making his way to the door. "And on that note, see you guys later." The hybrid opened the door, walked out, and closed the door behind him. Elena, Jeremy, and Alaric then left as well.

"Anyways, sorry for bothering you. Bye," Katherine said.

"Goodbye Katerina," Elijah replied, and then he hung up.

"Here," Katherine said to Damon, tossing his phone to him. He caught it with ease.

"Next time you decide to call us over here, make sure you have a good plan," Bonnie said. Everyone else in the room- minus Damon- nodded.

Damon just grumbled. Everyone else, excluding the Salvatore brothers, left the Boarding House.

Later, at the Grille, some members of the Mystic Falls gang were hanging out. The members were Bonnie, Caroline, Matt, Lexi, and Tyler. They were all chatting, until Caroline asked a question which caught everyone's attention.

The blonde vampire looked around the Grille to make sure there weren't any Originals. Satisfied that there were none, she asked "Remember how the Originals prank called Stefan and talked about adopting koalas?" The response was four 'yeahs.' Caroline's grin grew. "What if we use a similar tactic? Like offering them an opportunity to adopt polar bears or something?"

The four of them burst into laughter as soon as they heard the words 'polar bears.'

"Caroline," Lexi started, "that is the greatest idea ever!"

"Way better than Damon's." Tyler agreed.

"Okay, so what are we waiting for? Call one of them!" Bonnie said.

Caroline got out her phone, and changed the settings to make her appear as a private caller.

"Okay, so the private caller setting is done. Which Original should I call?" Caroline questioned, still smiling.

"Whoever would have the best reaction," Matt said simply. The five of them thought for a moment.

"I can't decide between Kol and Klaus," Lexi spoke up. Bonnie, Caroline, Matt and Tyler were all thinking the same thing.

"Well, let's just call Kol and hope he is with Klaus," Bonnie suggested.

Caroline nodded. "Okay." She found Kol's number in her contacts and called him.

"Hello?" Kol answered.

Caroline quickly put the phone on speaker. "Hi, I was just wondering if you would like to adopt an adorable polar bear!"

"A polar bear?" Five voices were heard. The five at the Grille all grinned. All five Originals were there.

"Yes, a polar bear! Who wouldn't want to adopt one?" Caroline continued, in a cheery voice.

"A lot of people! Why would we adopt a polar bear?!" Rebekah asked in disbelief.

"Because polar bears are awesome," Caroline said, like it was obvious.

"Thanks for the offer, but we would not like to adopt a polar bear," Finn said.

"But why? They are-" Caroline was cut off by Kol.

"We're not interested, sorry."

"But polar bears-" Caroline was cut off yet again, but this time it was Elijah.

"Thanks, but no thanks. Goodbye." After that was said, there was a click, which indicated the Originals hung up.

"Well that was rude!" Caroline exclaimed, causing her four friends to laugh.

"Did they actually fall for that?" Bonnie wondered, still laughing.

"I think they did," Matt chuckled.

The Original vampires all stared at the phone.

"What the bloody hell? Who would want to adopt polar bears?" Kol exclaimed.

Rebekah shrugged. "Surprisingly, a lot of people. I saw a website about polar bears or something, so honestly, I'm not shocked."

The four men exchanged looks and shrugged. "So, what do you want to do now?" The Original Hybrid asked his siblings.

"We could come up with a prank call idea," Finn suggested. Elijah, Kol, and Rebekah all nodded their heads in agreement.

"Okay, lets start brainstorming," the blonde Original said. The five sat in silence while coming up with prank call ideas.

Suddenly, Finn grinned. "I think I have an idea."
