A/N: Hello everyone! I am writing a new Harvest Moon story! But, this is different from what I normally write. This is for Harvest Moon 3D: A New Beginning. I really like this game, and my favorite is Soseki so far. Anyways, there will be one chapter for each bachelor. They will be drabbles, too, only around 500 words or so. Maybe more, maybe less. Depends on how I feel. Also, Rachel is described as how I made her. She has dark blue hair in a ponytail and dark green eyes. And I am horrible with titles, so I apologize. Anyways, enjoy!

Different Feelings

Chapter One: Neil, the Animal Trader

"Good morning!"

I looked up and groaned. She was back. How can she be so god damned cheerful in the morning? Hell, she was cheerful all the time. The only person who was this cheerful was Emma, but I always thought she was a little touched in the head.

I watched as she approached closer, that giant smile plastered on her face. She had been bugging me every day since I came back to Echo Village. Rachel stopped in front of my shop and smiled. I had been watching her approaching, feeling a sense of doom with each step. Her blue hair was glinting in the sun, and her green eyes were glittering.

"Can I help you with something?" I asked, hoping I sounded annoyed.

"Not really. I just stopped by to say hi," she said.

I could feel a vein on my head pop out.

"But, I am working right now," I said, trying to keep my anger in check.

"Yes, I know that. I also wanted to see what animals you had for sell."

I watched as she looked at the animals. At one point, she stopped to look at a sheep I had, and I was a little surprised. The smile on her face was so gentle as she reached out a hand to pet the sheep. The sheep let out a small blat, but seemed to enjoy the feeling of her hand on her head. Before I knew it, I was smiling. She looked up at me, and looked surprised as she saw the smile on my face. But, then a happy smiled crossed her face as she spoke.

"I have never seen you smile before!"

I felt my face turn red and I turned away from her, trying to hide the blush that had crept up onto my cheeks.

"A-are you going to buy anything?" I asked, stammering.

"Yeah. I think I will buy this sheep. She seems to like me," Rachel said, looking back at the sheep, the gentle smile returning.

I looked over at her again, and I found myself impressed. She was always so gentle around her animals, and she cared about them so much.

"Okay. Give me your payment and I will deliver her to your farm later," I said.

She drug around in her pocket for a few minutes before she pulled out a small pouch full of money. She handed it to me, smiling. As I wrote it down in my book, I glanced down, and beside her foot, I saw a flower.

"Oh. Is that a Moondrop Flower?" I asked.

Rachel looked down and picked up the flower.

"Yes! I just picked it up. Would you like it?" she asked.

I looked at the flower Rachel was holding, and I slowly reached out and took the flower. She smiled; obviously pleased I took the gift. I returned the smile with a small smile of my own, and I placed the flower to the side, tenderly. Then I finished up the purchase.

A/N: Well, what did you think? I hope it was okay. I chose Neil first because his personality is a lot like Vaughn from Island of Happiness/Sunshine Island. I don't know if the other bachelors will be first person view or not. We'll see. As of right now, I am still on my first game, in which I am going to marry Soseki.
