AN: I'm back people! Hope you like this chapter (for the ones who still read this story at least).

I want to say thank you to thank everyone who reviewed and supported me but a special thanks to DEE2389 who sent me PM's and waited and waited for me to update so here it is girl! Also I know a little late since I said I would write the chapters this weekend, which I did, but I also edited all the chapters! (I want to apologise for the confusion over Matt-Jake thing but I've called him Will now! And that's going to stay that way! :D) And I've even written another chapter already! But first we'll see if we get those 5 reviews, right?

Chapter five: They love you or hate you

*Knock knock* "Sweetie, if you don't hurry up you'll be late!" I groaned at the noise and looked at the clock 19:50. Wait... It's 19:50 already?! I got ready in speed tempo and headed outside. I rushed past Lily, while thanking her for waking me up. Will was waiting for me outside.

"There you are! I'm going to show you where the gym is! My next class only starts at 9pm! I have to say, you look very sexy in that outfit." I had my red tank top on and a yoga pants. My hair was in a ponytail.

"Ha ha very funny. I'm going to train, not going to a miss beauty convention." He chuckled.

"Well you would win it anyway. Now good luck with the midgets!" I started to walk away.

"Yeah let me go alone to this hell! And you call yourself a friend!" I yell after him. He winked and I headed inside.

When I came in everyone started at me.

"Stop staring. Hasn't somebody told you that staring is rude?" I said. I couldn't help myself.

"You are Rosemarie Hathaway! You are a legend!" One of the boys yelled. I looked around the room until I spotted one girl. Just the girl I was looking for.

"Well I'm not a legend. I'm your new teacher. And you will all call me Guardian Hathaway. If you are lucky you get to call me Rose at the end of the year. Don't count on that tough." The boys in the room kept gaping at me. One of the boys was looking at my breast and was almost drooling. That's just disgusting.

"I only have a few rules. The first one: Be respectful. I know you all have been raised with the thought that you are better than any woman. You are wrong. If one of you is disrespectful, you'll get punished very badly. You all have been warned." I saw a few scared looks.

"Secondly, I want you to be honest with me. If you think something should be done otherwise. Do say so. We can all learn from each other and I'm new with the teaching thing so, maybe I can learn something too." I saw the people lighten up. So they liked me already. Good.

"Third, I want you to take this class seriously. If you fail Math, History or Literary, who cares. You don't kill Strigoi with reading poetry for them or solving a math problem. You need to fight them. That's why you have this class." I saw people nod in agreement.

"Now before we start with combat training. I have an assignment for you guys. This training and fighting isn't only physically but it also takes its toll mentally. When you kill your first Strigoi. Or you stand eye in eye with your first one you'll understand. I want to know your deepest fears. The ones you maybe never would admit to anyone. Now, I'm going to put you into pairings to see how good you are. Could you first all introduce yourselves please?"

Everything was going well until I was putting them into pairings.

"So... Justin and Louis, Arthur and Steve, Alex and Viktoria..."

"No way in hell that I'll go with her!" I raised my eyebrow at Alex.

"Why not? Is there a problem?" He looked at me outraged.

"Of course there is a problem! No way that I'll pair up with some girl out of a family full of blood whores! She would better be a bloodwhore herself! Probably more useful that way! She's a girl! They should be doing something else." I was mad, really mad but I crossed my arms. And put on my creepy calm face.

"So you don't want to be her partner because she's a girl. And your opinion is that that's why she can't defend herself? You think that you're better?" He nodded.

"I am way better. I'm the best from this whole school." I wasn't impressed. His ego was way too big. One day that too much self-confidence will blow up in his face.

"Is that so?" I asked. The rest of the class nodded obviously afraid of the guy.

"You think you're better than me then? Because I'm a girl. And only two years older than you so if you are that good..." I narrowed my eyes at him and he smirked.

"Exactly! I don't believe a thing of what they say about you! Why should you come here if you really are that good? You're only a peace of shit. You're useless, a girl." Oooooh he's got me mad. Not good. He better run for his live.

"Well if you think so. Beat me. We'll spar and if you beat me you'll get the fame of beating Rose Hathaway. And then you're right. Then girls are indeed useless. If I beat you, you'll clean this entire gym every week until December. With your toothbrush. Do we have a deal?" Everyone held their breath.

"Deal. Louis will start counting and we begin on start." He explained it like I am stupid. We got into spar position. He was way too confident.

"Three. Two. One. Start." In one blink of an eye I grabbed his shoulder, put his arms crossed under his back and tackled him on the floor. I sat on him with my underarm under his throat.

"You'd be dead right now. Do you now still think I'm useless? Just a girl? And you want to know who taught me those things I did? Viktoria's brother. The one of the useless 'bloodwhore family'. Don't get to full of yourself, boy. You'll only end up dead. Now go to the infirmary to ask some salve for your arms. Otherwise you'll be stiff tomorrow and won't be able to practice with us." He ran away quickly. Probably ashamed. Everybody breathed out.

"Now you all got to see what happens if you don't follow those rules. I'm not asking too much of you, I think. Anybody has something else to say? Good. Viktoria, I want to talk to you first. Then we'll train." Everybody began to spar.

Vika and I sat on one of the benches. "Thank you for sticking up for me. You looked really badass." I smiled at her. I could tell she was a bit uncomfortable because of the way we parted last time.

"Look, we're fine Vika. Don't worry. I'm not mad." She looked up at me and her eyes shined.

"Really!? Thank you so much! I was so afraid you hated me! I would've hated me!" I hugged her.

"I could never hate you! And I have to tell you some things..." She looked at me worried.

"Wait Alex had a point in something. Why are you here and not with Dimka?" She had found out because I had called Elena after it had happened and then Dimitri called them once a day or so.

"Well that's what I wanted to talk about..." I told her what happened. She frowned.

"I don't believe him, Rosa. He just feels to guilty. If he feels guilty he lets himself pay and doesn't think about that he could punish other with that too. You did so much for him! How could he do that to you! You don't deserve that! But still thank you for what you did, Rose! You're really one of the bravest I know." I hugged her as reply. If I would say something I was sure I would cry.

"Come on let's do some combat!" Vika and I did some sparing for ten minutes and then I began to look at the other pupils. Me and Vika would watch the others spar and then I would pick one of the two to say what he did wrong and the other would spar with Vika and then we switched.

"Okay everyone! Remember! I want to know your biggest fear tomorrow! You can go now! Bye!" They all replied with an until tomorrow guardian Hathaway or see you or something else.

"You did that really well there. That boy needed to be put on the ground for once." One of the guardians said. I hadn't realized that there were other guardians in the room until now.

"Uh thank you? He was being disrespectful toward a classmate who did nothing wrong. I can handle that they pick at me but not at innocent people. And discrimination too."

The guardian shrugged. I noticed that there only were two guardians. The other one left already.

"I'm Jack by the way. But in duty guardian Veshko." He offered his hand and I shook it.

"Rose Hathaway. Would you mind to tell where I should go to now? I have to go to a meeting with the headmaster?" Jack shook his head.

"Not at all! Follow my way!"

It was already 12 when I got out of there. I sighed. I got warnings that I should control my temper; I thought I did that well this morning. It wasn't because of this morning, though. It was because they had got my file.

Yep all the complaining from Kirova was in there. I had to promise that I would do better and that I had grown over those things. I also got two other schedules. One of the guardians meetings and when I had to guard at night (daylight). The other one was Will's schedule. I only had two classes a day so I could guard Will. Ugh History! I also got a map of the campus, what I defiantly needed. I was hungry so I headed towards the place what should be the cafeteria if you followed the map.
