Sabertooth's Bookworm

The celebrations from the night before had ran long into the night even brushing to the morning's light. The main competitor's being forced to rest early to maintain their energy for the next day of course were the first awake.

Sleep was no longer an option for the remaining hung over guild members who'd party hard last night practically dropping where they'd been partying. Levy, to whom had been rudely awoken by two noisy Dragon Slayers, was just beginning to make her way up and out of bed as the two energetic men zoomed around the room getting ready.

Yawning the young woman dragged herself across the room at a slow pace groaning as she grabbed her clothes and threw herself into the bathroom. A drain groan passed between her lips as she undressed.

Stepping into the shower Levy ran her fingers through her blue hair using her nails to message her scalp, too many thoughts rushing through her brain at once. Her intelligence demanding answers.

Sliding down the dripping tiles Levy curled into a ball letting the warm water run over her skin as her eyes slowly slid shut. "Bothersome."

"LEVY WHERE ARE MY PANTS!" Sting screamed as he slammed open the bathroom door that Levy was sure she'd locked wearing nothing but a towel. Screaming Levy pulled the shower curtain off its rail to fall over her body on the floor.

Still standing in the bathroom with a blank expression Sting stared down at the cherry red Levy scratching the side of his head. "What are you doing on the floor?"

Just as Sting was about to reach down to pick Levy up a flying boot lodged it into the side of his face. "She's in the shower Sting! Naked! Get out!"

Pushing himself away from the wall looking down at the curled Levy Sting's face flushed a matching colour to that of the young woman before him before he quickly threw himself out of the room. "ForgivemeforgivemeforgivemeforgivemeI'mtoohottodie!"

Shaking her head Levy looked up to see Rogue pulling the door shut muttering his own apologies.

Taking a moment to regain her posture Levy pulled herself up from the now cold tiles and made an attempt of hanging the shower curtain back onto the rail before reaching for her clothes.

Throwing on a black pair of jeans and a white sweater Levy grabbed her coat that Minerva had so kindly leant to her and finally emerged from the bathroom, cautiously scanning the hotel room for the two dragon slayers. Noticing Rogue was the only one left in the room Levy tilt her head to the side sending him a confused look.

Grabbing his shirt off a chair Rogue looked to Levy and tweaked a small smile before pulling on his shirt. "He went to go cool off, don't worry."

"Oh, all right." Nodding to herself Levy threw on the fur coat and looked up when she noticed Rogue standing right in front of her, their bodies almost touching with his body heat warming her skin.

Holding her breath Levy looked up to Rogues face with red tinged cheeks as he ran his hands through her hair, gripping the hood and pulling it up and over her face. "Better."

Grinning Levy reached up and grabbed onto Rogue's 'perfectly' positioned hair messing it up and quickly pulling away from him, giggling like a mad man. "Much better!"

Frowning Rogue simply looked at her with his typical passive stare before grabbing the nearest pillow and launching it at her face. The blue haired woman to whom was now on the floor moved the pillow off her face, her features still laced with hints on entertainment, the two locked in a heated stare off.

"Knock it off you two, I can hear you from down the damn hall!" Quickly looking to the closed door Levy leapt over the bed and flung it open.

"Orga seriously?" Pouting Levy folded her arms over her chest glaring up to the towering ogre in the door way.

"Don't get us and your perverse dreams mixed up." Rogue, to whom had finally finished getting ready walked up to the smirking green haired man and sent a swift punch to his gut as he made his way out of the room.

After giggling at Orga's discomfort from the hit Levy walked up and placed her small hands over the red mark, looking up to him and smiling. "Overgrown baby."

Flicking her in the fore head Orga pushed past and threw himself onto the couch, looking up at the roof with a distant glaze over his eyes as if he was in deep thought. Unsure of what to make of the situation Levy cautiously moved forwards as if approaching a bomb. "Problem? ... Orga?"

"Levy your a female right?" Pulling his line of sight away from the roof and to the woman he'd directed his question at Orga frowned and threw his feet onto the coffee table.

"Well last time I checked yes, yes I am female."

"What does it mean if a chick starts well... ignoring you?" Raising an eyebrow Levy tilted her head as sat on the couch opposite to him.

Taking a moment to comprehend the situation Levy began her attempt to find clarification. "Your asking me for girl advice?"

"Well you are a girl right, you should know this stuff!" Looking almost distressed Orga sat up with a dead serious expression.

"Well yes but... wait why is a girl on your mind?" Noticing how Orga instant stiffened a almost creepy smile worked it's way onto Levy's lips as she leant forwards. "Interested in someone are we?"

"HELL NO!" Orga's eyes darted around the room looking at everything and anything but the petite blue haired girl in front of him. "Just confused bout shit..."

Giving out a devil smirk Levy cupped her face into her small hands as her elbows rested on her knees. "This is so cute."

"Shuddup Lev." Giggling under her breath Levy gave in under Orga's death glare and simply raised her hands in defeat. "Now can you please just... just god damn explain what's going on with Min-"

Silence hung over the two as both stared at the other with a blank expression before Orga began spluttering words. "Minta... Min Min... Minchie... Um Minerza..."

"Do you mean Minerva?"

"Yes. What no! Brat stop shovin words into my god damn mouth!" Getting up Orga charged at Levy and swung her over his shoulder, charging from the room sprouting utter nonsense from his mouth. "I'll push you down the stairs damn it!"

Laughing like a mad man Levy began calling out her own nonsense. "Oh Orga, when is the baby due~ Can I be the god mother! Think of the children, don't kill the god mother with the stairs!"

Just as the two reached the top of the stares waves of dread washed over them as there at the bottom of the stairs was a smirking Rufus, furious dragon slayers and an eye twitching Minerva who began to speak calmly. "Orga, which wench did you impregnate."

"N-no Minerva it's no-t-t like that... heh heh..." Looking to Levy for some support Orga roughly dropped her to the floor and nudged her straight into the awkwardness of the situation.

"Um we were... joking?" Looking to Minerva with slight fear the older woman stared back at her friend before smiling and nodding.

"Very well."

After an awkward walk to the GMG Levy was lead to the balcony that would be hosting the Sabertooth members that were to be participating and sat there on her own as the rest of the guild sat in their own larger balcony.

Sitting there by herself Levy looked around the giant Colosseum, Minerva soon walking up and sitting beside her with a blank expression. "What were you and Orga talking about before, please tell me."

Looking to her Guild Master with shock Levy's jaw dropped slightly at the sight. Minerva looked so distressed and worried. It was indeed a rare sight.

"I-I... he is just a little upset..." Looking at the field Levy took in a deep breath and decided to be completely honest. "He was upset that you've been... ignoring him as of late."

Watching Minerva's face flush a bright red the older woman awkwardly pushed her fingers together and looked to the side trying to hide her expression. "O-oh really..."

Smiling Levy pet her Master's head before shifting on her seat that happened to be the railing of their Balcony. "The induction ceremony is about to start."

Both shifting their attention to the stands the announcements began. "Coming in 8th place during the Slamming battle we have the fierce and dominant... Quatro Cerberus!"

Spacing out after that the girls watched as Twilight Orge, Mermaid Heel, Blue Pegasus and Lamia Scale made their way onto the grounds with cheers, balloons and confetti flying in the air as the announcements began again.

"Coming in third place, last year's winning guild. Fairy Tail B team!" The Colosseum erupted into loud bursting cheers as Minerva glared down with a scowl on her face.

"Whimps, still hiding behind their two team combo!" Clicking her tongue she glanced away but Levy sat frozen watching the team.

Laxus, he was holding the guild's flag while standing proud with his dazzling smile sparking all the ladies hearts. Mirajane, she was waving into the crowd giggling. Juvia, she seemed to be ignoring everyone with her eyes locked onto the entrance, obviously waiting for Gray.

The next member of the team some what shocked Levy, it was the curvaceous woman who stuck to Gajeel like a leech on the train, Ashley. Her face simply annoyed Levy but what pissed her off more was how the woman was wrapped are Gajeel like a boa constrictor.

She wasn't jealous, she was far from it but it annoyed her to think at one point of her life that was her dream, to be close to Gajeel. Well not pressing against him like a dog in heat...

Gajeel was just ignoring her and summing up his opponents, his eyes drifting for those around him to the stands, searching until his eyes landed on her. Freezing Levy hugged the coat around her body and felt a pair of hands wrap around her and a feral snarl in her ear. Minerva. She was glaring down at Gajeel.

"Now coming in second is... ! Well what a surprise. Coming in second is again last years reigning guild, Fairy Tail A team!"

Wendy, Lucy, Erza, Gray and Natsu entered the arena with the crowd around them booming. Levy and Minerva bore wide smiles.

"And in First place we have the former reigning champions, Sabertooth!" Levy screamed out her cheers at the top of her lungs, a wide smile on her face as she went at it like a mad man, Minerva by her side doing the same thing.

This year was already looking better.
