Eponine ran up the stairs to Cosette's bedside, followed by Enjolras. Cosette's eyes were slightly opened and reaching out to Eponine.

"Cosette, why are you bleeding?", Eponine asked, sitting beside Cosette and grasping the goddess' hand. Cosette looked sickly, with her pale skin and dark bags under her eyes. Marius sat in a chair by her bedside looking not much better than the injured goddess.

"Gave it up", she responded, weakly, with a small smile on her face. She looked at peace, which scared Eponine.

"Gave what up?", Marius asked, sitting on the edge of his chair to the other side of Cosette. He looked horrified and worried, somewhat helpless.

"Immortality."

The silence fell to the room so suddenly, covering everything in it. One could hear a pin drop or the boys downstairs. Enjolras was the first the speak.

"Why would you give it up?", Enjolras asked, knowing that she would have been stupid to give it up for love.

"Eponine", the goddess whispered with a foolish grin on her face.

"What?", the three healthy beings in the room asked in unison Eponine reached out for Enjolras' hand, which he took between both of his.

"I gave my immortality to Eponine", the goddess explained, turning toward Marius, running her fingers through his hair in a loving manner.

"Can you do that?", Enjolras asked.

"Ask Combeferre."

"COMBEFERRE!", Enjolras boomed, sprinting down the stairs and to the god. Unsurprisingly, the mortal that had stolen his heart followed shorty after at a slower, more mortal-like pace.

"Yes?"

"Cosette just said she gave up immortality to Eponine. How?" Enjolras was pacing now, up and down. His friends just sat and drank tiredly, enjoying the amusing sight of the golden-haired god.

"Well, immortality is proven not to just vanish. It has to go to someone", Combeferre stated a-matter-of-factly manor.

"But what about everyone before?"

"Well, some gave it to their children, and everyone else unknowingly gave it to Jean, he's been stealing immortality for ages. If Cosette gave Eponine immortality, then Eponine is immortal", Combeferre explained.

"What about the baby?", Eponine asked, bringing Enjolras to a full stop. At which he went over and wrapped his arms around her. He could sense her worry and fears. She was tense and tired. But she seemed to soothe once his arms were secure around her waist and his head nuzzled in her neck. She was distracted for just a moment before Combeferre spoke again, snapping her out of her day dreaming.

"I don't know, there is a chance that the child will also be immortal. There has never been a case like this ever."

Eponine started to feel dizzy. It was all to much. Suddenly, darkness started to wrap around her until she was swallowed by it.

Enjolras panicked as he felt Eponine go limb. He had his friends aid in carrying her to an empty bedroom, where she laid for several day before waking. While Eponine slept, Enjolras had got in contact with Joly and Bousset's girlfriend 'Chetta to see what was happening while they were hiding. It would apear that the father of all gods was flat out pissed. Storms had been waging for day and everyone had been sent out to look for them.

Cosette's bleeding had subsided and was healing better, but was still weak and mortal. Once she was well enough to walk, she moved to sit next to Eponine's bed, providing the same comfort that the brunette had done while the ex-goddess was healing.

Enjolras had worked himself into a mess, worried about both Eponine and their child. It was still a weird concept to him...he was going to be a father soon. And Eponine would be it's mother. He had gotten himself a little family, and he was sure it would be perfect once the child arrives.

He was going to be a dad. And he was happy about it.

Suddenly, he heard a yell from were he was sitting.

"ENJOLRAS! EPONINE IS AWAKE! COME QUICKLY!"
