Chapter 8

When they got to the common room everyone was headed to bed even Dean, so Harry ran over to him.

"Hey Dean can I talk to you about something?"

"Yeah sure Harry, what do you want to talk about?"

"Ginny." Dean's face went red. "I want you to stay away from her. I don't want to get between your guy's friendship but we are happy together and I'm not going to let you ruin that. So if you try to pursue her it will only make things hard for you and for us."

"Come on Harry. You have Hermione, so why can't you just leave Ginny for me?"

Harry grabbed the front of Deans robes and said in a very cold voice "Because I am in love with her and she loves me." He then released Dean and walked back towards Ginny and Hermione, who had been standing by the fire watching everything unfold, which as it turns out was a good thing because as soon a Harry got a few feet away from Dean, Dean took out his wand and was just about to curse Harry when Ginny yelled "Protago" pointing her wand at Harry. Just as Ginny's shield went up around Harry, Dean cast his spell. The spell hit Ginny's sheild and bounced back and hit Dean in the left arm. Dean dropped to the floor clutching his arms as crimson blood seeped through the cracks in his fingers.

Ginny dropped the charm around Harry as Harry and Hermione ran to Dean's side. Hermione managed to pry Dean's hand away to to show a deep gash on his bicep, however, she was able to close the gash up. Dean thanked her very quickly before high tailing it up the stairs to the boys dorm.

Harry walked back to the fire place and slammed down into his favorite chair, and he closed his eyes to try and relax, however, his eyes few open about two minutes after he closed then when someone sat on his lap.

"Harry what was that all about?" Ginny asked as she looked into his eyes since she was on his lap.

"It was about you Gin."

"What do you mean it was about me?" Ginny said very confused.

"At the feast I noticed that Dean couldn't take his eyes off of you. So I told him that I wanted him to back off of you because we are happy together, and I was just walking away when he attacked." Harry looked past Ginny into the fire and muttered "Freaken coward." under his breath.

Harry closed his eyes again and leaned his head back. Harry then felt a pair of lips touch his cheek which made him smile. With this head still tilted back he opened his eyes again and seen Hermione standing behind him, she then walked so that she was in front of him. Now staring at his 2 beautiful girlfriends.

"So you both know how the girls dorm has an enchantment that prevents boys from entering?" He asked now that the common room was empty.

"Of course we do, the founders placed it there but what about it?" Hermione said a bit confused.

"Well I can get up there now." Harry said with a smile.

"So that's what you were talking to Dumbledore about." stated Ginny while Harry nodded that she was right.

"Well we could test it tonight if you would like Harry." Hermione said as she seductively bit her bottom lip.

"No not to night sorry girls. But we have classes tomorrow and we should probably go to bed. However, I might use my invisibility cloak to seek up there so if you feel something don't freak out. And I'm sorry Gin I know you were looking forward to cuddling by the fire tonight."

"It's okay baby, and don't worry we wont but you better not look at any other the other girls when their changing and most of them sleep naked." Ginny said with a lift of her eyebrows.

"And I bet you're one of them aren't you Gin?"

"Well I guess you're just going to have to wait and see now wont you."

"Now that's really cruel Ginny."

"Oh well your just going to have to suck it up but like you said we need to get to bed," Hermione said interrupting their playful banter. "Goodnight baby." she said kissing him and then walking up the stairs to the girls dorm, Ginny followed suit and Harry watched them go before heading to bed himself.

In the morning at breakfast Mcgonagall handed out the time tables as usual.

"Potter I thought you wanted to be an Auror and I see that you don't have potions anymore, so has your lives ambitions gone out of the window?"

"Yes Professor I still want to be an Auror but I was told that I needed an O in my O. ."

"You did when Professor Snape was teaching it but Professor Slughorn will willingly take you so I put you down for potions along with Mr. Weasley, Professor Slughorn will give you everything you need for now. Get moving Potter."

"Yes Professor." Harry said. He gave Ginny a kiss on the cheek before grabbing Ron and hurried to potions and along the way they caught up to Hermione. When they got into potions Harry and Ron fought over who got the better book and of course Harry won. Harry found out that the only problem with the book was that there was some scribbling in the margins and words were crossed out and instructions added, he figured that since he wasn't the best at potions he might as well try whet the new instructions said. As it turned out Harry had the best potion which meant that Slughorn loved Harry even more, and it was all thanks to the old owner of his new potions book.

The next few weeks were uneventful until the first Hogsmeade trip was announced. Harry, Ginny and Hermione all went to the Three Broomsticks, for some butter beer, however, Harry brought his cloak along, so once everyone way sitting down he excused himself from the group and went to the bathroom. The Thee Broomsticks were packed with people so Hermione and Ginny figured that it would take Harry a while to get back.

Once Harry got to the back of the room, he didn't go to the bathroom but instead took out his cloak and put it on, walked back to the table, and was just in time to hear Hermione and Ginny's next conversation.

They both looked kinda squirmy and not really comfortable as they sat across from each other. Ginny had just set her butterbeer down when she looked Hermione in the eye.

"Why Hermione?" Ginny asked a bit to quietly and Harry swore that he heard unbelievable pain in that short sentence.

"Ginny.. I..." Hermione's voice caught before she could finish. It seemed to Harry that they had talked about something painful right after he left or this might have been something that they had talked about before now. What ever it might be Harry needed to hear this to so he moved closer to them hoping no one would bump into him.

"Why share him Hermione?" Ginny looked down at the table while she continued. "Don't get me wrong I'm glad you did because I've been in love with him ever since he saved me in the Chamber but he shouldn't have to chose between us like this. It seems wrong to put him through this when he's been through enough heartache to last twenty life times." same Ginny Harry thought at hearing her words. Ever since that fateful day she had always had his best interest at heart. Thinking about him more then herself at times.

"Ginny I didn't make him chose and I think that's why we are all together. He wasn't forced to make a choice this time. He could have everything we ever wanted in all three of us. Yes it's unfair to him and also to us but Ginny you've seen the look in his eyes when he looks at each of us. The way he looks at you is different then the look he has when he looks at me. I love him and I know he loves me too but the love in his eyes when he looks at you is way more intensified then what he shows Dora and I." Hermione took a breath before she continued and up until this point Harry didn't believe it but as Hermione took her short break, he thought about it and she was right. As always.

"I had seen that look in his eyes way before he had asked me to be his girlfriend. I knew he liked you way more then he let one. I don't even think that he had that look in his eyes before now but it was there every summer he saw you and every year here ever since the Chamber Gin. I know I started dating him first but I can tell that both of you wish it had been you." Ginny looked like she was about to say something but Hermione silenced her by placing her finger on Ginny's lips, she then continued. "It's okay Ginny. I love you both more then you can ever imagine. Look don't tell Harry but even though he says he will marry all of us, I feel as though only the two of you will get married. It's always been Harry and Ginny and always will be." Harry saw the tears before they started. He knew he had to stop this conversation before they both started crying in front of everyone, so he started to walk away but was pulled back at the voice of the beautiful petite witch.

"Hermione don't say that, if I know one thing about Potter it's that when he says something that he is going to do he means it. Its like a promise to himself and everyone around him when he says it out loud. He loves us more then I think James loved Lily and that's saying something Mione. Now enough of this talk. He should be back very soon and we best be all smiles before he gets the broody look that doesn't make him attractive." Ginny says giggling and trying to screw up her face to imitate what Harry guessed was his so called broody look.

Harry would have had something about it but just as he opened his mouth he heard another giggle, he turned his head to look at Hermione who was covering he mouth as she laughed. Harry knew this was his time to leave so he backed up and moved around the corner to take off his cloak when he heard Hermione say. "You should leave the imitations to Dora because she can do it so much better then you." Followed by another fit of laughter.

Harry stepped back into view of the girls and walked to them. He had reached the table when Ginny spoke still looking at Hermione.

"That's because she is a Metamorphmagus." Ginny said in mock anger which earned her another giggle from Hermione.

"Do I even want to know why you brought Dora's ability into a conversation?" Harry asked playing dumb.

Both girls looked over at him a bit shocked that he was there all of the sudden. They then looked over at each other before smiling ear to ear and started shaking their heads in unison.

"Okay then. Well I say that we've had enough fun for one day. Lets go back to the Castle and cuddle in front of the fire. Almost like that last day on the beach." he looked at them both separately and winked at both of them when he did.

The girls got up first and walked out of the pub in front of Harry. When Harry joined them outside he put his arms around both of their shoulders and drew them into him, as if to silently tell them how much he loved them both, when he felt them respond by wrapping an arm around his waist he knew that they understood. That is how they stayed for the rest of the day and also into the night as the common room filled and found the three of them laying on the floor in front of the fire.

Ron finally woke them up when it was supper by lightly shaking Harry trying not to wake the girls as he did.

Harry opened his eyes to find Ron and half the common room looking down and smiling at the three of them. "Supper?" Harry muttered to Ron, who just nodded his head before turning to the rest of the Gryffindor's who suddenly acted as if they had something to do or hurried out of the portrait.

Harry looked down to to see his two sleeping beauties but was surprised to find both sets of eyes intently focused on his eyes. After hearing what they had to say at the Three Broomsticks he now saw the full intensity of their love in their eyes. And he hoped to god that they saw his
