A Souls Mind

"A grigori is a weapon of power, such as only one of 50 million people will be shown. As it said it is brought to be the protector."

"Are you sure you don't want to go?" Asked soul who was getting ready. Maka weakly smiled and looked at him.

"Yeah I'm sure." He just nod and went out of the apartment.

All of them were happy, having a time of their life, while maka was holed up inside her room reading, there was a party for all meister and weapon partners, because the death weapons just came back from their training for a month. Soul. Her weapon partner, he came back with a girl wrapped around him, he even told maka that he was no good for her, since she – his new girlfriend– told soul that she came to Nevada because of him, though maka can't give him any advice or comments, because her, herself are having problems, while she watches them, she slowly breaks to pieces. She sighed again, now here she was reading, every now and then he should know what was happening to her, but he became oblivious, while he goes out every night with their friends, even she was invited, she didn't come, she didn't want to be seen as the only girl watching her partner wrap his arms with his girl, that is not her, but for now she didn't care, she didn't have to care.

She heard the front door open, and some giggling was heard, she peeked in through the door of her bedroom to the living room, and there they are, kissing hotly, they were taking each other's clothes of, and were heading to souls room, once they entered his room, maka can hear moans and groans loudly, she didn't want to cry, because there was nothing to cry about, so she didn't, but then her window opened, suddenly a hand covered her mouth, maka tried to kick the intruder, but then she accidentally inhaled the rug, she fought till she still had consciousness, she kicked her lamp to make a noise, but she was sure that he will not hear her, for they were too up with their activates. Then there, she greeted darkness openly.

Soon it was morning, soul's girlfriend left, and it was awfully weird that maka wasn't up yet, she was up and making breakfast at this time, he just shrugged and made breakfast, though it was starting to get late so he went to maka's room and opened it, he was shocked to say that her window was wide open, and her things were scattered all over the room, then there was a note, at the floor.

She's ours, the power is ours.

Soul ran out fast, he didn't even notice that he was running to his bike, worry and concern filled him, he had a bad feeling about this and this was not good, he can't lose his meister. Soon he parked carelessly at the front and went up to shibusen.

"Maka's missing." Soul said looking dead serious. Lord death's face was serious too and all spartoi are at the death room.

"WHAT?" Black star shouted, all members of the team's face turned serious to shock.

"Is that what's assembly for?" Liz said frantically, she was worried of her bookworm friend. The reliable friend she ever had.

"Yes, I got a message–" Lord death said but was cut short of soul.

"I got a message, it said; She's ours, the power is ours. what does this even mean?!" Soul shouted, he was furious. Lord death sighed heavily.

"I am not to tell you this, but for now all of you have a mission, and that is, bringing Maka back here safely." Soul set out first, the rest just watched him as he left dusts of trails. They were heading to a place, where kidd can feel her grigori soul.

"Silly girl... You won't escape us... You're a tool of success! Such a valuable piece can't be slipped easily to our hands!" The crazy man laughed, maka watched; disgust filled her eyes, though determination underneath is set, as she want to escape this crucial place, she was still wearing her clothes of mere shirt and shorts which was slightly battered from their harsh treatment towards her, her hair was down and disheveled, her face bloodied as her mouth didn't shut from what her mind and heart wanted to say.

"You fucken' bastards! Just you wait assholes! Once i get out of this shit hole, I'll kill you. My power is no use if there is insanity!" She screamed at the man's face, and then he punched her, making a sickeningly sound.

"Everybody has their own insanity and madness, though you girl just won't give in with the madness within you... You are far too blinded with your courage as you call it... Though as your insanity... You have far grieved and envy to others, deep inside, you are just like the others," He said. "You are just trying to hide it, my question is why? Everyone is happy except you... Why don't you just give up?"

Maka looked up, it was true, she wanted to give up a long time now, though something held her back, everyone was happy, not noticing the façade she had well put into her face and actions, but everybody's attention was fine, it was alright to her, even though deep inside, her heart was pummeling, six feet below everybody. One still saw it though, even she is just a mere cat, she was the one who can comfort her and makes her laugh at her own antics.

"Because... If i give up that easily, everybody will go down with me. Like you said everybody has their own insanity and madness, i know, that even though as they don't know what was happening to me, they care," Maka said as a lone tear came out of her right eye, when she looked up she stared deep into his eyes, and then that's where her smirk came to her face; she felt her crazy friends' soul wavelength. "And that their coming here right... Now."

"My lord, the castle has been infiltrated." A guard suddenly barged into the room. The cruel man looked accusingly to maka, as she smirked widely; he punched her at her stomach, making another sickening sound of breaking bones. Maka took in the pain; she didn't let her smile falter.

"You bitch! Don't think that just your little friends showed up, that all will be well." He shouted to her, he turned to the guard and screamed. "Take them on, tell the others such as Jan and Al to come off to first lanes, attack to no mercy! We will not give away the grigori!"

Maka smiled even though as her body is weak, she was able to get the keys; 'stupid bastard', even though her hands were chained, the bastard was so mad he didn't even notice that a hand was creeping up his back pocket. Maka

shakingly unlocked her cuffs and chained ankles, she holds her right stomach and found the knife that they used to cut her and plunged it deep to her, maka clutched it tightly, she walked barefoot out of the door that was unlocked, another smart move.

She looked left and right, it seems that they were focused on the fight, she can feel it, how her friends—the spartoi fight, they were going at it like crazy! Especially soul, it was like she can feel how his black blood is opening up. She ran to mazes of the huge castle, she saw a guard running to a different direction, she hurriedly hid herself, though she was shaking because her wounds were screaming at her to not move, but she kept on going, she knew that if she didn't escape, she will be stuck here and be like a forming grigori kishin, the spartoi team might be strong of fighting them, though in the end they can find maka in this situation. The guard saw her then punched her, she coughed loudly, though she swung her hand with the knife and plunged it to his stomach and done it a couple of times, making blood come to her face and hands.

She ran and ran until she saw the light of underneath the door, she opened it quickly with shaking hands, then she was greeted by the woods' open air, she ran, she ran as far as her bloody legs can take her, as she was panting, she was then attacked and pummeled at her back, she coughed loudly, she was looking for a way to escape, but found a dead end, which was the cliff, where she can hear big splashes of waves to the open stream, then heard her attacker, the same cruel man who treated her harshly.

"Where are you going my precious grigori? Like i said you are far from escaping from me, you little bitch!" The man screamed at her, and gripped her hair.

"Asshole! As if I'll let you capture me! I rather die than let you lock me up on your filthy shit hole!" Maka said all bloody up, she didn't know how she still had the energy on talking shit with this crazy bastard, all she knows is she has to at least get out of his clutches.

"Ah, ah, uhhh... Tsk. You have a very dirty mouth." He said as he slapped maka hard. Maka kneed him at his groin then stabbed him, he tried to make a run for it but was stopped as he grabbed her by the arm, and then punched her straight at her stomach, she coughed out blood, but hid the pain with a hiss, and she stabbed him, and then punched him several times.

He didn't back down, he got her hair and started dragging her, she kneed his groin again and punch him in his solar plexus, but then he pushed her, they didn't realize that they were fighting near the cliff, and when he pushed her she stumbled back then fall.

"AHHHHHHHHH..." She screamed. And when the splash was heard, the strong waves had carried her to the other direction, and when she felt her head hit a huge rock, she finally greeted the darkness that has been openingly waiting.

"DIE! DIE YOU FUCKEN BASTARDS!" Black star screamed as he sliced off their bodies with tsubaki, they were following kidd who just kept on shooting bodies out of his way as he followed the soul wavelength of maka. Soul was no different, each side he has transformed his arms to scythes and slicing everybody he sees, except for his comrade of course.

"GET OUTTA MY WAY YOU FUCKEN IMBICLES!" Soul screamed. "Kidd! Where the hell is Maka! We faced the boss and kicked him out of his conscious, we still can't find her!"

"This castle is huge; i can feel her wavelength though." Kidd said as he saw the stairs going down to a dark room. "In here! This is where her wavelength gave out strong! Though i can't see her soul."

"What do you mean?!" Soul shouted at him, as they just followed him, when they opened the door, the scent of metallic blood hit them, everybody stared of a puddle of blood everywhere, mostly to the chains, and the he saw it, the necklace he had given to maka once when he was afraid that he will lose her.

"This is hers..." Soul said, choking on the pool of blood.

"It can't be... Maka–chan..." Tsubaki said choking on her own sobs.

"Maka–Chan!" Patty screamed.

"Oh no..." Kim gasped as she covered her mouth. "At this amount of blood loss... She might be—"

"Don't fucken' say it! She's not dead! She fights!" Soul shouted, his figure shaking. "Kidd, i can feel her, her wavelength left, that's why there are blood drippings."

"Yes let's go..." They ran out and followed the drops of blood, sickeningly as it looks, they went through mazes and the trail stopped to a dead corpse that was bleeding profusely.

"She must have killed the guy." Jacqueline said and analyzes the situation.

"Told you she wouldn't back down of a fight." Soul smirked, but immediately fell as he felt her, he ran to the leading door that sent off light and opened to the woods, he ran as he felt more anxious of feeling, he knew she was well alive, but beaten, he stopped on the nearby cliff, and saw the knife and lots of blood drippings, it seemed that someone had followed her and she still didn't gave out of a fight, he saw the knife laying down on the floor with lots of blood, kidd examined the cliff and saw a particular item hanging at a thin branch, he asked for tsubaki to get the item, because of her hand can turn to a chain, once she got the item, she choked more of her sobs.

"It's the headband i gave out to all of us before we got to battle at the moon." Tsubaki muttered, it just confirmed them that she had fell at the cliff, since the black headband, had the drawing of a soul in it, where only spartoi team members had. Soul had grabbed the headband, and when he saw the blood and the drawing of a soul crossed with a scythe, that only hers and soul had in their headband, he tightly gripped it, as he heard the others contain their sobs.

"Maka!" Soul screamed. The others watched mournfully, they knew her trail ended here, they may had killed an army of the bastard, but in the end they had failed for the didn't found her, and the bastard is still unknown. What happened?

A/N: First chapter of the edit, sorry if i deleted the chapters, the plot is still the same, though i changed the first so that i can make it through the whole plot of the very first story that all of you guys reviewed, it's still the same slightly different though.

Anyways im giving this story my full attention, so i will be changing the title to 'A Souls Mind'

What do you think? Please review and I'm really sorry if i deleted that chapters, i just wanted a fresh start, and I just don't want to delete the whole story up. As you can see its different with the first plot I had created, but I can tell you that this is much better than the first, but you will see at the next few chapters that its still the same with with the first one.
