Son of Yui the Nephilim

ESKK: here it is the final chapter of the SEELE saga. Savior has been activated and is preparing to use its power to start the Final Impact. Does Team Devil May Cry have what it takes well read and find out.

Unit NA and the Mk. 10 EVA were fighting Savior to stop it but this god like EVA was proving to be a powerful adversary.

Kenji in his EVA wasn't having much trouble but it was still difficult for him as the Beast like unit 8+2 was returning to its base form.

No matter what Rei and Kenji threw at Savior it wasn't doing much damage as this God was flying higher and higher into the sky.

(With Rei)

"Kenji-san I am open for suggestions," Rei said as she didn't trust Kenji as far as she could throw him.

(With Kenji)

Kenji got into a thinking pose as he was trying to think of a way to get to Saviors core. He needed something besides Yamato that can pierce anything that's when an idea struck his head. There were two other such weapons that can pierce Savior but he and Shinji were the only ones who can retrieve them.

"I have an idea if we can get the Longinus Lance and the Cascus lance then we might be able to open a hole in Savior and enter him so we can destroy him from the inside," Kenji said as Rei could see how that can work and add the fact a Nephilim can open the Gate of Bluff would mean Shinji and Kenji could each use a Lance to stop Impact.

(With Rei)

"Wait but if you use the lances wouldn't that risk causing an impact?" the clone of Yui asked.

(In the Wundur)

When Ritsuko heard Kenji's plan she was running the data and found it was a win, win situation. "Not exactly Rei if we stab both Lances into Savior and then destroy him from the inside not only would the Lances become useless but they would be destroyed with Savior," Ritsuko explained as this was a full proof.

(With Kenji)

"Good sense we are all agreed then we need to stall Savior till Shinji arrives," Kenji said just before a Rumbling was heard.

(In the battlefield)

Unit, Nephilim; came flying at Savior at high speed only to be knocked to the ground as no doubt Shinji was being blunt about it. When Unit Nephilim was about to crash it spun and landed on its feet while sliding a little bit.

(With Kenji)

"Brother that was a foolish sneak attack you did when neither I nor Rei can scratch it," Kenji said over the comm. Links most likely surprising Shinji.

(With Shinji)

Shinji was in fact surprised to hear his brother's voice after a year of Kenji being in hiding. "Kenji is that you?" Shinji asked surprised as he saw his brother. "Damn Kenji it's been a year and this is how we meet again," Shinji said with a grin.

(With Kenji)

Kenji saw no humor in this as far as he could see Shinji still did not see that Humans were like children that needed protection. "Yes brother I find it funny that we meet on the battlefield on the same side again," Kenji said as he held his EVA's O-Katana at the ready.

(With Shinji)

"Wait your on the good guys side again?" the Nephilim asked as Shinji was hoping Kenji had time to think and give up his path to world domination.

(With Kenji)

"No Shinji my path is one I shall walk to I reach my goal Human kind are like children they once needed the Nephilims protection before and today they still need it so no I have not given up on my path," Kenji said as Shinji was shocked.

(With Shinji)

"Fine… but when this is over… I'm taking you down," Shinji said making Kenji smirk.

(With Kenji)

"Fine then brother try but that is only if we can defeat Savior first," Kenji said as he had his O-Katana ready.

(With Shinji)

"Fine now let's get crazy!" Shinji called as he and Kenji charged at Savior.

(In the battlefield)

Unit Nephilim and Unit Nelo Angelo were battling The Savior as this titan was strong as Shinji was trying to figure out its weak spot. Unit Nephilim then began shooting at Savior as Unit Nelo Angelo was shooting its ethereal swords at this giant of an EVA.

Unit Nephilim activated its wings and flew at Saviors face only to be blocked by an AT-field. That was when Unit Nelo Angelo came in from behind and slashed the back of Saviors head causing it to lose its focus and Shinji to hit the crystal on its head. Savior grabbed its head in pain as Shinji and Kenji could see other spots on Savior glowing as Shinji could tell those were Saviors weak spots.

(With Kenji)

"Shinji here's the plan we're going to need the Longinus Lance and the Cascus Lance to help beat Savior you're the only one who can summon them from the Gate of Bluff I'll take care of Saviors weak spots," Kenji said as Shinji was confused.

(With Shinji)

"Wait Kenji how do I do that?" Shinji asked as Kenji in unit Nelo Angelo flew off to Savior.

(With Kenji)

"Just think of the world ending and Koworu," Kenji said before Shinji's eyes went wide.

(With Shinji)

"Ok… I'll try," Shinji said before closing his eyes focusing.

(In the Wundur)

"Ok fly the Wundur close to unit Nephilim just to make sure it doesn't cause an Impact by accident have the AT-field at full power," Misato ordered as everyone nodded.

(With Asuka and Mari)

Asuka and Mari were back to full power thanks to the Wundur sending a battery to them. "Ok we need to get suited up with some wings," Asuka said as there EVA was being attached as Shinji likes to call the Boogie pack.

"Yeah we need to help Devil-kun and his "brother," Mari said as she didn't like Kenji.

"AS much as I hate baka-Kenji I also hate seeing the world end so let's hurry," Asuka said as she gave Kenji, Shinji's old insult.

(With Unit Nephilim)

Unit Nephilim still as the battle was going on nearby. The EVA almost looked like it was meditating waiting for something. That was until the EVA's lights and eyes turned blue and red.

(With Shinji)

Shinji could feel it he opened the Gate of, Bluff as he could see a bright light upon him almost like he was being dragged. Shinji could feel something grabbing at his mind drawing him closer to it until everything was surrounded by light.

(Scene break)

Shinji found himself, in what looked like NERV but it was clear of the bullet holes in the wall, no EVA or LCL, no bones, not even blood. Shinji did a little walking as he was wondering where he was. He soon arrived at a familiar spot where he could hear a piano begin to play a familiar tune. Shinji soon began running and arrived in a room that looked like an exact duplicate of the place he played piano with Koworu. Shinji ran over to the piano which had a familiar shape playing the piano which made Shinji wonder if this was who he thought it was.

"Welcome to Bluff Shinji I've been waiting for you," the Koworu look alike said as he stood up. The Koworu lookalike was wearing the school uniform that Shinji use to wear all the time as Shinji summoned Rebellion but it wouldn't come out. "No, need, for weapons Shinji-kun I am the real Koworu or should I say Tabris," Koworu said as he turned to Shinji.

"Ok Koworu if you really are the one I know then did you, know I was Nephilim?" Shinji asked as Koworu smiled his playful smile.

"I had a suspicion and when I asked Gendo who your mother was before you arrived at the ruins of NERV he said her name was Yui. I did a little research on Yui and found out a few things one of them was that her parents were Sparda and Eva which showed me Yui was Nephilim," Koworu explained as Shinji looked at him.

"Ok so you're Koworu but why didn't you tell me before?" Shinji asked as Koworu sighed.

"Then you wouldn't have trusted me as at the time Gendo was unaware of Yui's origins," Koworu said as Shinji walked over to the Piano. Koworu sat down as he smiled at Shinji. "Would you like to play piano with me Shinji-kun?" Koworu asked as Shinji sat down.

Shinji smirked before he began playing Cruel Angels Thesis on the piano like and expert Koworu followed as he added a better tune to it as they played together. It was then that the room began coming apart and turning into an Angelic stage where an orchestra would play for an audience of Angels. Stabbed into the ground inside the old unit 13 was the Longinus Lance and the Cascus lance.

When the song was reaching its end Shinji and Koworu smiled at each other before the song finally reached its climax. When it did Shinji and Koworu stood up turned to them empty seats and bowed like they were playing for an audience.

"Now Shinji-kun what brought you here?" Koworu asked as he smiled at this new Shinji the true Shinji.

"I came here for the Lances I need their power to beat Savior," Shinji said as Koworu nodded.

"Very well this will be the Lances final battle as they have been losing there power most likely from the near Fourth Impact that they caused," Koworu said as Shinji nodded.

"Thank you Koworu," Shinji said as Koworu smiled.

"You're welcome Shinji-kun son of the Legendary Dark Maiden Yui, Grandson of the Legendary Dark Knight Sparda, and the White General Eva may you use the power of the lances to give humanity a tomorrow worth living for," Koworu said before the Lances removed themselves from the EVA before just floating there.

It was then that there was another flash of light and Shinji found himself back in the Entry Plug but this time the Wundur was pushing his EVA and he was holding both Lances. "Ok I'm still alive so that means I didn't cause Impact now to get to Kenji," Shinji said before he activated his EVA's wings again and flew to the battle between Savior and Kenji.

(With Asuka and Mari)

Unit 8+2 had gotten its wings so it was ready for battle the Thrusters ignited and allowed her EVA to fly at Savior.

"All right Mari time to kick this things ass," Asuka said as she had a smirk.

"Let's make sure there's nothing of Savior left," Mari said as she had a smirk on her face.

(With Kenji)

Kenji had taken care of all the weak spots on Savior but the one of its chest and forehead. But the problem was Savior was keeping Kenji on his toes as this beast was powerful he just had to wait for Shinji to get here. That was when Kenji sensed something as he instantly projected his AT-field only for the Cascus lance to be stopped for only a moment giving Kenji enough time to grab said lance and stop it from piercing him. Kenji spun it around for a little before pointing it at Savior.

(With Shinji)

"Show off!" the red clad Nephilim called as Kenji glared at Shinji with a small smile.

(With Kenji)

"Yes I understand but you also have a tendency to show off brother," Kenji said as he saw Unit Nephilim holding the Longinus lance.

(With Shinji)

"Point taken brother," Shinji said just as he had the Lance of Longinus ready. It was then that Unit 8+2 appeared followed by the mk. 10 EVA. "Took you three long enough," Shinji said as he gave them a smirk.

(With Asuka and Mari)

"Sorry we got held up," Asuka said as Mari was pressing buttons on her controls to check everything was in order.

"Yeah but at least we made it Devil-kun," Mari said with a smile.

"Also don't pull any funny business Baka-Kenji or I'll be the one to end you," Asuka said with a glare.

(With Kenji)

"I like to see you try half breed," Kenji said as an insult to Asuka making her growl.

(In the Wundur)

"Stop bickering now here's the plan Shinji and Kenji now is the time to bust out beast mode and Devil Trigger, Asuka and Rei you two will provide cover fire for Shinji and Kenji to use the lances we only get one shot at this so we need to make it count," Misato said as everyone nodded.

"Ok Shinji be careful this can be are only chance so no mistakes," Ritsuko said as she saw Shinji nod.

"Hai," came from everyone as all they can do now was pray.

(In the battle field)

Kenji willed his EVA to some solid ground that was floating around Savior before he did what he did for Devil Trigger. The EVA began to shift as it grew both horns and a Halo, a cape sprouted from his EVA's back as even the sword began to shift into one with teeth on one side and a blade on the other, the body began to bulge as it became more demonic and angelic at the same time, the EVA's eyes shifted to red eyes as a blue eye appeared on the forehead.

Then a Second Unit Nelo Angelo took stage as it looked like a phantom of the first one.

(With Kenji)

Kenji's coat turned from black and blue to full on blue as he shifted to his Devil Trigger form. "Now Unit Nelo Angelo now that you have awakened let us show these pests what true power is," Kenji said as Nelo Angelo roared for its master.

(With Shinji)

Shinji stood up in his Entry Plug as he cracked his knuckles in anticipation. "Alright now that I'm all good and ready it's show time!" Shinji said as he had a grin. "Unit Nephilim invert controls backdoor code… THE PROTECTOR," Shinji invoked as the controls began to change. Shinji then turned into his Devil Trigger as his coat began to turn Red with his eyes turned a demonic red. "Now Unit Nephilim lets show them what we're made of!" the Nephilim yelled as he had a demonic look on his face.

(With Unit Nephilim)

Unit Nephilim began to shift as it began drawing matter to form a wheel on its back, its left half began to turn black as a sweeping horn formed at the side of the left sides head, the legs began to bend into that of a beast but more of a reptile, the right side began to turn white as instead of a sweeping horn spikes grew from the back of its head, both sides grew claws as the lefts sides wing became more demonic and leathery, AS the transformation was complete Unit Nephilim looked like a humanoid Dragon that represented both light and Darkness.

The EVA then roared as both EVA's were holding a Lance.

Both EVA soon charged at Savior landing a blow on his pelvis and face. Unit Nephilim then did a spin before kicking Savior in the face causing him to go flying to the side.

Unit NA then appeared in front of Savior then gave it an uppercut kick sending it flying into the air before Unit Nephilim appeared and gave a downward punch sending the titan plummeting to the earth. When Savior landed on its back both EVA charged and stabbed Savior in the chest but the Lances didn't pierce it…yet.

Shinji and Kenji then willed there respected EVA and then did an entry kick like how Asuka did against that one Angel when Shinji couldn't get to his EVA and then both Lances pierced Savior with the last of their strength.

(In the Wundur)

"It worked!" Misato yelled in joy as they beat Savior.

As everyone was cheering Kenji's voice broke the happiness. "It's not over yet," Kenji said over the comm. links.

(With Kenji)

"Savior isn't done just yet," Kenji said as if some God just wanted to be cruel to humanity Savior got up as the Lances soon shattered like glass as they had used the last of their power to pierce Savior.

(With Asuka and Mari)

"Mien Gott," Asuka said as she was shocked beyond belief.

"It's impossible nothing should have survived that," Mari said as she was shocked to the core.

(With Rei)

"We can't defeat it," Rei said as Savior was too strong.

(In the Wundur)

"We've thrown everything we go at it and yet we still couldn't beat it," Ritsuko said as everyone was wide eyed.

(With Shinji)

Shinji was glaring at Savior as he knew one thing he wasn't giving up so easily. "HELL NO I WONT LET THAT THING WIN AND NEITHER WILL ANY OF YOU SO IF YOU CANT BEAT IT FROM THE OUTSIDE BEAT IT FROM THE INSIDE!" Shinji yelled as he wasn't giving up.

(Outside)

Unit Nephilim and Unit Nelo Angelo were back to their normal forms as Savior was getting back up to redo its ascent.

(Wundur)

"Well who's getting inside the Wundur?" Misato asked as she had a hunch on whose going.

(With Shinji)

"I'm going in," Shinji said as he switched his EVA to Auto Pilot and set the target to Savior.

(With Kenji)

"I'll go in also," Kenji said as he could see a chance to gain more power.

(In the Wundur)

"Ok then Kenji and Shinji you two are going inside an EVA," Misato said with a grin. This would be there last chance at saving humanity.

(Scene break)

Unit Nephilim and Unit Nelo Angelo had gotten there Pilots as close to Savior as possible as Shinji and Kenji looked at each other. "Race you there," Shinji said with a grin as he switched Rebellion into its Ophion Angel Lift form.

"Very well," Kenji said as he used his Angel Teleport.

As they were getting closer to the Entry way into Savior the titan tried to stop them. Shinji and Kenji of course kept going by running on Savior and rolling off him before they arrived onto the Chest of Savior and entered.

(With Rei)

"Asuka Mari we shall attack Savior from the outside keep it from causing Impact or harming the civilians," Rei said as she saw Mari and Asuka nod.

(In the Wundur)

"Need help with that?" Misato asked as the Wundur was floating next to them.

(With Asuka and Mari)

"We're going to need all the help we can get," Asuka said as Mari glared at Savior.

(In the battlefield)

The Wundur, EVA units 8+2, Mk. 10 EVA charged at Savior ready to put an End to SEELE once and for all.

(Inside Savior)

Shinji and Kenji had been climbing Savior for a while as they were looking for the guy controlling Savior. As they were walking Shinji decided to begin small talk. "So Kenji when we split up for the first time how did you do?" Shinji asked as Kenji smirked.

"Well I noticed things that no one else did so I did a little investigating, when I saw the drink Virility I realized that it had the drug if you recall," Kenji said as Shinji nodded. "So I did a hostile takeover of a company that belonged to a friend of mothers and used the money to create the Order of the Nephilim, of course it took me a while to gather the members I needed and when I got Intel on you being kidnapped and reprogrammed I started using resources to look for you and by the time I found you, you had already caused Third and Fourth Impact," Kenji explained as they climbed to Savior. "What did you do?" Kenji asked as Shinji chuckled.

"Well my life was hell, got dragged into Limbo more times than I can count, had a lot of flings, went to tones of parties, and killed tones of demons," Shinji said as he kept climbing. The duo soon arrived at what looked like the control center for Savior as they saw something come out of the red glowing thing in the other side of the room. It looked like a priest but Shinji smirked as he was ready to stop the last of SEELE and destroy Savior.

"So you're the head jackass controlling Savior," Shinji said as he pointed Rebellion at the old man.

"Yes and you two must be the Grandsons of Sparda sons of Yui," Sanctus said as Kenji smirked.

"Well you would know wouldn't you after all you are number 7 of SEELE," Kenji said as he was ready to draw Yamato.

"Yes I am a member of SEELE but this is where Humanity falls and becomes a joined mind of Gods," Sanctus said as Shinji scoffed.

"Yeah but what's the point of it if you're in a world on nothingness doubt anyone would want to live in a perfect world where they can't do anything but live a perfect life," Shinji scoffed walking to the side.

Sanctus then started too chuckled before he summoned a sword. "Then if our paths meet here let's make this so only one of our paths may continue," Sanctus said as Shinji and Kenji smirked.

"Well then let's," Kenji said they all charged at each other.

"The Savior is upon you!" Sanctus yelled as he sent an energy blast at the duo but Kenji drew Yamato and cut through it.

Shinji the jumped over Kenji and attacked Sanctus only for him to summon a barrier to which Kenji came from behind and sliced the barrier in two. Shinji then used his Demon Pull and drew Sanctus to him before switching to Gilgamesh and punching Sanctus to the wall.

But Sanctus wasn't done as he summoned a sword made of energy to attack Shinji. Shinji smirked before switching to Lucifer as Kenji sliced the Energy sword in two. But when Sanctus was summoning another barrier Shinji threw and ethereal sword from Lucifer and it got stuck inside the barrier only for it to blow up taking the barrier with it and sending Sanctus into the ground.

Kenji then used his summoned swords and sent it at Sanctus but Sanctus used this time to dodge but only for Shinji to appear with Ebony and Ivory and began shooting at Sanctus. "Come on show me a challenge," Shinji called as Sanctus was sent to the wall. Sanctus then charged just as Shinji charged also. When Sanctus was upon Shinji the red clad Nephilim then sliced his sword upward sending Sanctus air born. "LIFT OFF," he yelled just before he Air hiked to Sanctus and slashed him downward causing him more pain.

"Come on I was hoping for some more fun," Shinji said just as Kenji appeared.

Kenji then got ready to draw Yamato but when he did he disappeared and reappeared behind Sanctus while he was sheathing Yamato. When he did cut appeared all over Sanctus body as Shinji and Kenji were soon upon Sanctus with their swords crisscrossing in front of Sanctus neck as they were ready to kill.

"This is where SEELE ends Sanctus," Shinji said with a glare.

"Yes from this point on SEELE will no longer exist," Kenji said with his own glare.

"You're going to kill me?" Sanctus asked in shock as he couldn't believe this was it.

Shinji smirked which answered his question.

"You don't deserve to live," Kenji began as Shinji continued.

"You deserve death and too rot in Hell," he said before Shinji and Kenji finished off Sanctus and with him all of SEELE.

(Outside)

The EVA's and the Wundur were damaged but the latter of which was still air born as Savior, stopped moving.

(With Asuka and Mari)

"Took them long enough," Asuka said as she sighed.

"Yeah but I believe Devil-kun deserves a reward after this don't you agree Asuka," Mari said with a grin as Asuka smirked.

(With Rei)

"I believe we won," Rei said with a sigh of relief.

(In the Wundur)

"Ritsuko how is the Wundur?" Misato asked as Ritsuko had already ran a diagnostic on their ship.

"Well the bad news is the Wundur is heavily damaged but the good news is we can get repairs on it," Ritsuko said as Misato sighed.

"Well I guess we finally beat Savior," Sakura said unaware of what is about to happen next.

(Inside Savior)

Kenji walked over to Saviors core unit as he had a smirk at it. "We won," Shinji said as he noticed Kenji grabbing Saviors core unit. "No Kenji, don't do it!" Shinji called but it was too late Kenji had begun absorbing Saviors power. "Kenji!" the Nephilim called but Kenji's lust for power had taken him too far.

(In the Wundur)

"Energy spike inside Saviors core!" Sakura called as she saw Savior begin to fall.

"What's going on in there?" the Colonel asked as Savior was falling.

(With Savior)

Shinji couldn't get close without being attacked as Kenji was absorbing Saviors power. But as soon as it began it ended as Kenji's coat turned blue with blue marking on his face.

"This power is amazing now Shinji we are truly equally matched," Kenji said as he looked at Shinji with pale almost dead skin.

"Kenji why?" the red clad Nephilim asked as Kenji smirked.

"For power of course human kind cannot protect themselves they are like children they need our protection, that is why I must claim our grandfathers sword the very sword our mother also wield, the "Force Edge," and once I claim it I shall awaken it into the Sparda and take my place as the new legendary Dark Knight," Kenji said with a smirk.

"I will stop you Kenji," Shinji said drawing Yamato.

"No, brother we cannot fight not yet I have things to do so till the time comes for us to battle for the last time goodbye," Kenji said just before he disappeared through a rift.

(Scene break)

Shinji was back in the Wundur with Asuka, Mari, and Rei. Savior was destroyed when it crashed but Shinji was ok as he looked at his amulet.

As Misato had just finished talking to the head of the UN she then came to them with a smile on her face but eyes that hid something. "Well there is good news and bad news, the good news is that we are all getting paid for defeating Savior and SEELE or what's left of it will face justice and all their assets will be use to help all those affected by the Impacts," Misato explained as she also had bad news.

"Wait but what's that bad news?" Mari asked as she didn't like where this was going.

"Team Devil May Cry is to disband," Misato said as she was also a member of Team Devil May Cry.

"Well we had a good running but I guess it's time we have to say goodbye," Shinji said sadly as Asuka was shocked.

"Wait but I don't want this to be goodbye," Asuka said as she hugged Shinji.

"Me neither," Mari and Misato said as they both hugged Shinji. Asuka was crying as this could be the end of their friendship.

"Hey babes don't worry this isn't goodbye for real we'll see each other again because they didn't say we couldn't stay in contact," Shinji said cheering them up.

"Shinji we," Asuka started by Shinji stopped them.

"Don't say those words not yet I need to sort out my own feelings so think you can wait for me?" Shinji asked as Asuka smiled as did Mari and Misato.

"We'll wait an eternity for you Shinji," Mari said with a grin.

"Yeah after all we're hybrids of Angels and Demons," Misato said with a grin. She then took out some slips of papers and gave them to Shinji, Asuka, and Mari.

Shinji looked at it and shouted in shock. "Wow that a lot of zero's Shinji said as he was surprised how much money he got.

"It's the UN's way of saying thank you," Misato said with a smile.

Shinji smiled before walking away.

(Scene break)

The four former members of Team Devil May Cry were gathered at an Airport ready to embark onto the rest of their lives as Shinji was looked at them.

"Well I guess this is it," Mari said as Shinji nodded.

"Well I'm heading to Germany four eyes is going to England, Rei, is going to help rebuild Tokyo-3, and you Shinji you're going to Limbo," Asuka said sadly as this could be it.

It was then that the intercom called for their flights as Shinji had one thing to say to the girls. "Asuka, Mari, and Rei remember one thing Devils Never Cry," Shinji said before the group started walking off as they all had tears in their eyes as this wasn't good bye this was a see you later.

The screen showed a tower rise from the ground as it looked demonic and looked like it was underground for a long time.

Misato: It's been two years sense team Devil May Cry disbanded and Demons are still attacking. Shinji had opened a shop called Devil May Cry. The Temen-Ni-Gru has risen and with it so has a chance of the Gate to Hell reopening. Can Shinji stop Kenji and the mysterious Arkham and his plans for becoming Sparda, find out Next time Son of Yui the Kenji saga.
