A/N:
So, here's my take to the dedication for the FNAF series by making a toy Bonnie the Bunny costume for the Halloween Town in the Kingdom Hearts game! Not scary at all, since Marie is far from it, but hopefully it'll be comical.
Chapter Thirteen

Boy Talk/Girl Talk
"Okay, you see," Yuffie said. "Every girl loves it when a man totally gives her free materia!"
"Materia?" asked Sora, utterly confused. "What's that?"
"No, no!" Aerith interrupted. "Every woman loves it when a man is romantic towards her."
"Pssh, Aerith, romantic guys are so overrated."
"Materia isn't exactly a nice gift to give to a girl. Jewelry, flowers and chocolates are all so romantic." Aerith gave a lovesick sigh, what she would give to have a guy like that. Yuffie was making gagging noises since she wasn't into the whole romantic scene. She personally didn't really think about dating, she was just interested in getting her materia.
"Er..." Sora looked at the two girls. "So which one will Marie like?"
Both girls looked at Sora and realized that he was still there, looking as confused as ever. They both began to think of the type of guy that Marie would be interested. When Yuffie gave up, Aerith had an idea. "We'll ask Marie what her type of guy is!" she shouted.
Yuffie raised her fist. "Of course! She should know!" Aerith face-palmed Yuffie for saying something as silly as that, but the young ninja was now determined. Sora didn't know what was going on, but he was going to check on the necklace—this made Yuffie swoon knowing that he was doing something nice for Marie, and Aerith agreed that the two of them made a good couple. Sora blushed, and quickly left the room to find Leon. Yuffie still made lovey-dovey faces, and Aerith merely smiled. She always did know that those two would somehow be together.

"Are you done yet?" asked Sora, who was a little impatient. He wanted to give Marie the necklace as soon as possible.
"If you ask one more time, I'll be done with you," Leon threatened. He was finishing off the thin gold chain that the crown, which was gold, would attach to. Leon decided to make the crown gold, it looked a little more feminine that way, and it was a little fun to see Marie with a gold necklace while Sora had the silver one.
Soon after, Donald, Goofy, and Cid walked in the gizmo shop. Cid was muttering some unpleasant words because of the fact that he was kicked out when he went to find Yuffie and Aerith. Marie had been with him and along the way, they found Donald and Goofy. Once at the house, Aerith and Yuffie turned into squealing girly girls that it made Cid cringe. Yuffie literally kicked him out along with Donald and Goofy when they said that had some girl talk to do. Cid just swore along the way—mainly towards Yuffie. Donald and Goofy just simply laughed at him secretly. Well, Donald mostly laughed
.
"What the heck are you two doin'?" he asked. Biting hard on his toothpick.
"Sora wanted a copy of his necklace," Leon smirked. "It's for Marie."
"Geez, Leon," Sora said. "You don't have to tell the whole world!"
Donald started laughing at Sora's shyness and Goofy smiled. Although Donald and Goofy had to hang around when Sora and Marie got all cute with each other, they too thought a little romance would happen between them. Cid chuckled as well and sat down. He threw out the toothpick he had and got out another one. He looked at the progress of the necklace, and it was turning out very nicely. Leon had finished the necklace and it was very nicely done. A smaller version of the crown Sora had attached to a thin golden chain. If Leon wasn't fighting off heartless, this could very well be the start of a new career.
"Huh," realized Cid. "You like Marie?"
Sora. Donald, Goofy, and Leon face-palmed Cid. They guessed it was true what people say: the older you get, the more oblivious you are.

Marie
"Uh," I said, trying to figure out a way to answer Yuffie and Aerith. It was really weird—I went along with Cid to find the rest (we managed to find Donald and Goofy) and found the house where everyone was at, as soon as we entered I was bombarded by these two girls. They asked me what type of guy I liked, and I was finding it hard to answer them. I just thought of what my heart was telling me. "I really don't have a type, just as long as they're themselves."
"What? That's so boring!"
"Now, Yuffie, I like that type very much, Marie," Aerith said as she tried to comfort me. I didn't really care either way, boys were the last thing on my mind. I just wanted to go home—wherever that was. I heard Yuffie gasp as she looked out the window, and Aerith soon followed her line of vision. Sora, Leon, Cid, Donald, and Goofy were headed this way, and I rolled my eyes, telling them they looked like a bunch of peepers spying from a window. They were bending down in front of the window and looking at the guys. Seriously, they were acting weird.
Aerith and Yuffie stepped away from the window and stood near me. Leon, Cid, and Sora came in, and Donald and Goofy came in afterward. I smiled at them, but when I looked towards Sora, he seemed really uncomfortable. Donald and Goofy were sniggering with each other—much like Yuffie and Aerith were doing, while Cid just smirked. Leon crossed his arms. There was a slightly awkward silence after, and I was finding this to be very suspicious. Somehow I got the feeling that everyone knew something but me. I was not going to tolerate this.
"Okay, what gives?" I said as I got up from my seat and crossed my arms. Everyone looked at me. "Why is everyone acting weird all of a sudden? First the girl talk, now the awkward silence? Something's going on here, and I demand to know the truth!"
Sora looked incredibly awkward, while the girls, Goofy and Donald were giggling amongst themselves. Leon and Cid both had slight smirks on their faces, and I was about to yell again for answers until Yuffie started. She scratched her head, "Well…" she looked over to everyone else but Sora and I and nodded. "We'll leave you two lovebirds alone now!"
"Yuffie!" shouted Sora, who now had a blush on his face. All Yuffie could do was laugh as she grabbed everyone and rushed them out the door. She slammed it shut, with the echo of the slam clearly heard. I was staring at a very nervous and blushing Sora, who couldn't look anywhere but the ground. I sighed, time to get some answers.
"Are you okay?" I asked as I walked up to him. He gave a small sigh and placed his hands behind his back as he looked back at me, but the blush wouldn't go away from his face. "You've been acting funny since we got here."
"I wanted to find a more private place to do this…" he said as his eyes shifted towards the door, but he sighed and dropped his hands to his side. "But here will have to do, I guess."
I questioned him. He was still acting weird, but then he reached into his right pocket and took something out of it. When he took out a golden necklace with a small crown attached to it, I had a feeling that this was why he was acting so weird.
"This is for you," he said. He handed me the necklace and I looked at it. It was very nice, and somehow, it felt like a lot of work went into this. I couldn't help but smile and hold the necklace tightly. I looked up at Sora as our eyes met, and I blushed as I asked what the necklace was for. "So you don't forget me," he said. "After we seal the Keyholes, and find Riku, we'll go back to our worlds."
I looked at him and noticed that he had the same necklace—for the exception that his was more masculine and silver. I looked at the necklace one more time and placed it around my neck with ease. It was such a splitting image of his necklace that I found it almost poetic. It was like a 'his' and 'hers' gift and I liked that idea. I started thinking about what Sora said as well—I really didn't want to depart from him. I didn't even want to depart from Donald and Goofy. We've made such a strong friendship that it was a shame to break it up once this would be all over.
"Thank you, Sora. It's really pretty," I said, shaking myself out of my own thoughts. I looked at the necklace one last time. Surely this wouldn't be the only and last time we'd be able to see each other, right? I wasn't sure myself which world I was from, and I wasn't going to build our hopes up for it to crumble if in the end if I was from another world than his.
"Sora? What if...what if I was from your world?" I decided to ask, and like how I suspected, his eyes were now gleaming with hope. He had his trademark smile and the sparkle in his blue eyes made me feel guilty about asking about it. However, he composed himself and looked towards me with an obvious hopeful look.
"We don't really know for sure, but either way, that necklace will always be yours."
I couldn't help but smile at him—Sora was very true to himself, that much was obvious. Watching him throughout this journey really opened my eyes to how he acted during good, bad and ugly times. He always had a strong heart wherever he went. No matter how messed up things may be, it was that smile and heart of his that got us through most of it. This was probably why I was so fond of him. I liked him a lot because of this. "Let's go to the next world," I said.
Sora nodded as he walked up to me, and his hands grabbed my small ones as he walked towards the door. Although, it should be noted that in Traverse Town, there really isn't a place that's private. Leon, Aerith, Yuffie, Cid, Donald and Goofy were leaning against the doors and windows, listening to our conversation most likely. We both sighed out of frustration, and they all started laughing nervously, minus Leon who was now leaning against the wall with his arms crossed—probably to avoid looking as if he was listening in.
"Well," said Donald. "We should head out."
Donald grabbed Goofy and ran towards the exit. Cid started laughing out loud, ruffled our hair, and then left while mumbling something about love. Leon merely stood there against his wall, while Aerith and Yuffie were squealing and looking at my necklace with such awe. I sighed.
"You were right," I said as I looked at Sora. "You should have done this somewhere else."
-x-
The ship ride towards the next world was quiet, mainly because Sora was glaring towards the other two. I couldn't help but find this amusing, and I just snickered to myself about it. Eventually, we made it towards the next world, and as we teleported everything looked a bit too dark for my liking. Tall, oddly shaped buildings surrounded us and the sky was as black as coal. It didn't sit well with me, and when I turned around to face the others I couldn't help but gasp.
"Whoa!"
"What are you shouting about—"
I looked over to Sora, who was in a completely different attire. It looked like he was wearing a costume. He was wearing striped stockings with a pair black pointed boots. His pants were black and puffy while his jacket and shirt were black. His gloves were white, but what I thought was weird was that he had a pair of bat wings and his face—he wore a pumpkin mask but his right eye was completely covered in darkness with only his left eye visible. He also had fangs. His mask was pretty small, to begin with, too. I looked over to Donald and Goofy, who also had different outfits going on.
Donald was wrapped head to toe but had a couple of the wrapping missing hallway, and it looked like he was walking around with two halves of a body—it was really weird. His eyes appeared way darker than they usually were, and it looked like he was wearing a permanent scowl or something—not that that was any different. Goofy looked like a monster with two small studs sticking out from each side of his neck. His shoes were so worn and tore that the tips were showing his socks. He wore a very rustic looking top hot and his eyes looked red at certain angles. I tilted my head to the side—what was going on? I shivered, noticing a slight breeze coming through. When I wrapped my arms around my shoulders, I noticed that I was touching bare skin. I looked down at myself and couldn't help but shriek in utter surprise (and a bit of embarrassment) as I was practically dressed in blue. I was wearing two long detachable baby blue sleeves with cuffs linked at the top and bottom of the sleeves. I touched my shirt and noticed I had a black hood attached to what felt like a silk white dress shirt with a bright red ribbon at the center of my chest. Two back stripes were visible on each side of my body and when I looked down again I saw that I was wearing a flowy buttoned vest that started right under my chest. It had three large black buttons and it split right at my under stomach. I thought my underwear was showing at first but noticed I had a white one-piece underneath everything and white opaque pantyhose.
My shoes were regular runners, just with two huge cuffs around the top of them. I groaned as I looked down at my black gloves and I couldn't help but hear a snicker from behind me. I quickly whipped my head towards the noise and saw Sora, Donald and Goofy laughing at me.
"What's so funny!?" I shouted placing my hands on my hips, but they started laughing even louder. I couldn't help but pout about this, and Goofy held his stomach as he tried to control his laughter.
"You look like a bunny!" he told me. I raised my eyebrow as I tilted my head. I suddenly felt something heavy on top of my head and quickly placed my hands on it and felt two very long ears—my guess they were bunny ears. I gasped and suddenly felt two prominent objects in my mouth and touched it. Ah! No, anything but buck teeth! I was in a panic and turned around, but Donald started bursting out in laughter.
"You even have a bunny tail!" he said. I touched my back and felt it. I whimpered, why wasn't I scary looking? I jumped back towards them and widened my eyes, and then they all suddenly stopped laughing. They looked a bit creeped out, and I asked again what was happening.
"Your pupils just got really small…" Donald mentioned in a low voice. I groaned—great, I looked like a rabbit made from some of the worst kid nightmares ever to live. I dropped my shoulders and started walking ahead in a bit of a bad mood, but I heard footsteps rushing to my side, and I felt Sora's hand rest on the blade of my left shoulder.
"I still think you look cute," he comforted as he smiled at me. I blushed—this is a spooky place and everyone else looks scary to some extent. I don't think cute makes much of a cut here but I was still grateful for Sora's comforting words, so I smiled back, showing him the buck teeth I had recently acquired. We all walked a bit further in and noticed we stumbled upon what looked like the town square. A dark fountain was placed at the center with small, rusty and tattered buildings surrounding it. A black smoke appeared from a chimney of one of the buildings, and when I took a quick peek at it a horde of heartless appeared all around us. It was pretty weird to see—they were a bunch of ghost heartless. Sora quickly took out his keyblade and attempted to attack one, but he completely went through it instead!
"Wow, that's new!" I said as I bent down to help Sora up. He gladly took my hand and I helped him up while looking at the surrounding heartless. "What's going on?"
"And now, allow me to introduce the master of terror," I looked over my shoulder to locate the voice, and we all saw a little man with a very long top hat. His face had this permanent looking smile that didn't at all seem creepy, and one of his eyes had a swirl. Yep, this place was definitely number one for creepy! The little man kept announcing, "The king of nightmares—Jack Skellington!"
We looked towards the opposite end of the little man, and the heartless ghost that surrounded up before all lined up and bowed down while pointing their fingers to reveal an incredibly tall skeleton rising from what looked like a cauldron. He had a pinstriped suit that trailed a bit at the ends, but for the most part, he didn't seem that scary looking.
"Bravo, Jack! Bravo!" the little man ran as fast as he could towards Jack flailing his hands around while continuing. ""Those ghosts will be a big hit at this year's Halloween!"
Jack thanked the man as he stepped out of the cauldron, but told them they still needed some work and I looked at the heartless near him. "It's not scary enough. I want to strike bone-chilling terror. I'm going to consult the doctor," he said as he left. The little man said he was going to attend to the decorations, and the three of us watched as he hopped on by—what seemed creepy was the fact that he had a completely different face on the back of his head… a scarier looking face. Can you say two-faced? I looked as the heartless all followed Jack as he walked on further ahead and I placed a finger on my chin, I don't ever remember being scared of ghosts, zombies, or anything of the sort. What I did remember was that I was scared of being left alone or left behind. I closed my eyes for a bit, and my head began to hurt just a bit and I felt myself remembering something from my past.
Flashback:
Marie
"Ienzo, you dummy!" Marie cried out, running around Radiant Garden. "Where are you?"
When Marie was first brought into Ansem's castle, she had developed a little crush on Ienzo. They would sometimes leave the castle on their own even though they weren't allowed. Marie didn't know anyone except Ansem and his apprentices, and she was hoping to get to know the man named Cid since she had said hi to him. It would be rude not to talk after introducing and saying hello to another.
But today had started off awful. Normally, when Ienzo and Marie left the castle they always stuck close to each other. As far as they both knew, they were only friends, neither close nor distant, regardless of Marie's crush on him. But all of that changed.
"Ienzo!" she cried out again, this time, a little frightened. She was scared that the man who kidnapped her, Xehanort, would come back to take her again. She ran tirelessly around Radiant Garden, hoping to see Ienzo, or even Even. But when people that she didn't recognize started appearing, Marie had begun to fear what was happening.
"Well, well," said a corrupted man. "What are you doing here, girl?" The man grabbed Marie's wrist and held on tightly. Marie had started to panic and tried to escape the man. She even tried kicking him, but when she did, she just received a hard slap from him.
"Don't you know how to respect your elders?" he snarled. Marie screamed, but the man slapped her yet again and tugged her arm harshly. He started walking somewhere, grabbing Marie along with him.
Marie struggled to get herself out of the man's grip, but she was still little and didn't have much power against him. When the moving stopped, Marie looked ahead and noticed Aeleus and Dilan standing in front of the man. Ansem finally came into view and looked quite angry.
"I will not tolerate this inappropriate behavior," he said to the man. "I do not need you corrupting this beautiful world and its people."
"Wait, sir!" the corrupted man yelled. "I wasn't doing anything, I swear!"
"Take him away," Ansem said. Aeleus and Dilan took the man away, and Ansem looked at Marie, although not as angry as he was with the corrupted man.
"You disobeyed me and left the castle," he said. "I told you millions of times not to."
"I'm sorry," Marie said apologetically. "I'm just bored at home."
Ansem sighed and looked at Marie. "If you need to walk around, then I'll have Aeleus or Dilan supervise your walks."
Marie nodded and walked with Ansem all the way back to the castle. It turned out that Ienzo had told Ansem that Marie was still outside the castle. They both had disobeyed Ansem, and they both had apologized.
Of course, Ienzo didn't apologize to Marie. Secretly, he disliked her the moment she walked into the castle. He liked being the youngest one, and he wanted it to stay that way. So purposely, he left Marie on her own. He really only became friends with her because he was just bored. Marie didn't know about his dislike for her, but she didn't talk to him after this incident. She forgave him, even though he didn't apologize. But she, of course, wouldn't forget, and thus created the little bickers and fighting that these two eventually got into.
Present Time
We followed Jack after deciding where to go and after getting me out of my trance as Donald put it. Who was Ienzo again? It seemed like I knew a lot of people back then and it sure would be nice if I could remember everything, but something tells me it won't be that easy. Anyways, we reached a tall building and I assumed this was where that 'doctor' was. We decided to hide near the wall and peeked through the window—and the whole place was pretty much a lab filled with machines, beds, and bookshelves filled with a lot of books. There was a heartless lying on the bed in the middle of the room and we began to hear a couple of voices.
"I don't understand. Maybe the guidance system was damaged in the explosion," we heard the voice say, who belonged to Jack. The doctor, who was sitting in a wheelchair rolling around, told him that it was impossible as his stuff was always perfect.
"Oh, I've got it! Why of course! The heartless need a heart!" he heard Jack exclaim. He placed his fist in the palm of his other hand and looked towards the doctor, asking him if they could add a heart to the heartless. The doctor didn't seem bothered by it whatsoever and jack read from a very large book—which I assumed was a book on anatomy or something and stated that they needed a container with a lock. The doctor took out a container with a lock and examined it.
"We need the key to this thing first!" we overheard him say. I stopped listening as I quickly looked over to Sora, who seemed to be in thought about the lock. Donald and Goofy knew as much as I did that Sora was seriously considering opening it for them, but Donald wanted to ask just to be sure.
"Why not?" Sora protested. "If they succeed, we won't have to fight the heartless. Besides, I want to see the heartless dance, too. Don't you?" he looked over to Donald, who didn't even seem at all interested in the heartless dancing. Regardless, we found ourselves sneaking into the building and walked up towards the lock, which was unlocked by Sora's keyblade. Footsteps were heard right after and we turned around and saw Jack walking up to us.
"My! That was amazing!" He looked at all of us, eyeing each of us head to toe and then gave a confused look. Guess he wasn't expecting guests. "Uh, and you are..?"
"Sora. This is Donald, Goofy, and Marie," he said while pointing at us. I gave a smile and waved. Jack was pleased with Sora's work and personally asked us to be in the Halloween event going on. It didn't seem like a bad idea but Sora asked why the heartless were lying around, and somehow I thought the same thing. Jack explained that they came to their town just recently, but couldn't get any of them to dance with him so he and the doctor decided to experiment on how to improve their guidance system. He called him a genius before continuing their work and the four of us watched as they did so.
The ingredients for a heart…" Jack started. He called out a couple of things like emotion, terror, fear, hope, and despair while throwing in things to correspond to those words. All these things were needed to create a heart and the doctor wheeled towards a lever and pushed it down. Electricity started circulating all over the heartless and then it began to rise. The more I watched, the more familiar I felt about this. I shook my head about this though and watched. When the electricity stopped, the heartless fell back to bed and refused to get up.
Yep, this definitely looks familiar.
"It failed!" shouted the doctor. He sighed and read the book as he turned a couple of pages. "Maybe we're missing some ingredients. Let's try adding memory."
It suddenly hit me then, and I remember I was placed under a table when I was with Ansem. He was experimenting... about the darkness in people's heart I think. I remember being paired up with someone but the face that accompanied the body was a blur. I couldn't even remember the people in the room, and I lowered my head—why was I being experimented on in the first place again?
"Are you okay?" I heard Sora ask. I quickly raised my head and looked at him with a confused look on my face—how or why was he asking me this? It wasn't that noticeable that I was down about this, was it? I decided to ask him, and he shrugged his shoulders. "It kinda felt like you were sad or something."
I mean, the thought of Ansem did make me sad for a moment, but how would Sora feel that? I thought about it for a while as I saw Sora staring at me, but we both turned to the doctor as he called out a woman by the name of Sally.
"Good-for-nothing girl! Don't know why I bothered creating her!" he shouted. I don't know who this Sally woman is but she must not get on the doctor's good side at all. He gave out an annoyed sighed and looked towards us. "Sally's got the memory we need. See if you can track her down."
Jack agreed and asked if we wanted to come along—there wasn't anything else to do and all of this involved the heartless, so it was like we had to go. I caught Sora staring at me again and I started feeling a bit self-conscious and immediately felt myself blush. I looked away and started walking towards the Town Square along with everyone else, but the little man with the top hat started yelling—telling us that the heartless were out of control. Jack came up with the idea that their experiment must have done something. "Everything will be fine, Mayor," we heard him say.
Well, at least we knew the guy's name now. Jack reassured him that everything was going to be solved, and I could see Donald tapping his feet looking ever doubtful. Either way, we made our way towards the cemetery and once we reached there, there was a horde of heartless. It took us some time, but with the help of jack, we were able to get rid of them quite easily. We walked deeper into the graveyard, and Jack stopped in front of a tombstone. He examined it a bit and I wondered if this was where we were going to get the 'memory' we needed to make a heart, but he instead whistled and called out the name Zero. A small white figure started floating through the tombstone and when I took a closer look it was a dog with a red nose.
"Zero! Have you seen Sally anywhere?" Jack asked. Zero floated all the way to a nearby statue of a gargoyle, and behind it was a woman who was all stitched up. Different skin tones of different body pieces were all over her, and now I understood the doctor when he said he created her. She looked like a stitched up ragdoll, but somehow she still looked very pretty—maybe it was the red hair? "Is something wrong, Jack?" she asked.
"No, everything's going great, Sally! We're going to have the best Halloween ever," he exclaimed as he waved his hands around and about. He looked towards her hand and smiled. "All we need now is your memory," he finished.
Sally looked at him confused, but then she looked down towards her hand and stared at what she was holding. She asked if it was what he was looking for, telling us that it was a forget-me-not flower. It looked withered but it still had a few petals on it and when she handed it to Jack she told him that she didn't have such a good feeling about the whole Halloween event. She asked him if there was a way to try something else, but Jack seemed pretty adamant about having the heartless learning how to dance—he seemed really determined to get everything in gear. Sally still wasn't convinced, but Jack told her everything would be fine. I watched as he and Sora left to go on ahead with Donald and Goofy following close behind, and sally finally started making her way out of the cemetery.
I crossed my arms for a bit and thought about Riku, and I really hoped he was okay—I can't imagine what he's going through. He needs to be saved from the darkness, but I mostly wonder who got to him to make him like that?
Graveyard:
Shock, Lock, and Barrel
As Marie left to the doctor's lab giggling was heard from the coffin that laid in between everything in the cemetery. The top cover burst open and out from it were three little children in costumes. Lock a young boy who was clad in red with pointed black boots leaned on the coffin as he gave a smirk from his deviled mask. Shock, the only female of the group giggled as she fixed her witch hat which seemed two sizes too big for her, and straightened out her purple dress. Barrel, who wore a skeleton shirt with pants smiled through his mask, which bored a large smile and two very large holes for his eyes to see.
"Did you hear that?" asked Barrel. He looked towards the other two and Lock nodded as he seemed excited about the heart being made, but he asked what they should do about it. Shock scoffed in annoyance and called the other two stupids as there was only one thing to do, and Barrel jumped as he realized what. "Tell Oogie Boogie!" he suggested as he snickered. The three of them huddled together and started laughing mischievously about the deed they were about to do, before heading to the tallest tower in the world and telling their leader, Oogie Boogie about what was about to go down.
-x-
"A heart? That bonehead Jack is really making a heart? I'll be jiggered! That works for me!" asked Oogie, giggling as the word seeped through his lips. He brought his sacked paws close to his mouth and kept giggling out of excitement, and told the three children that once he had his non-existent on Jack's things would be great. "But I'm still gonna nab that heart and control the heartless. And of course that cute little button, Marie!"
He remembered the meeting he had with the other villains not too long ago, and they talked about how Marie had untapped powers inside of her that seemed to be very powerful, and that thought alone made him very happy about it. What harm was there in getting two stones with one stone? Clearly, nothing and he felt like he had nothing to lose.
Marie
We went back to the graveyard after jack told us that the mayor was there. Surprisingly enough, the heartless here were a little weaker than the ones we've beaten in previous worlds. I don't know why that was—maybe they're scared of Halloween Town? Ha, that would be funny.
"Here you go," I heard the mayor say. He handed Jack a 'jack-in-the-box', and then we headed back to the doctor's lab. I couldn't help but stop for a moment since the feeling about Riku was lingering a bit too much in my head. I felt a hand slowly move towards my right arm, and I looked to my right as I saw Sora staring at me with that concerned face of his.
"You okay?" I heard Sora ask. I shook my head and openly told him that I was worried about Riku. He gave a short reply and sounded a bit dejected, but I wonder if he was as worried as I was for Riku. "He's on the wrong side, and I don't understand why."
"Maybe we don't have to understand why. He needs light, he needs us," I told him as looked down towards the floor. He agreed, and I felt his hand slowly reaching down towards my own hand, telling me that we were going to help Riku with whatever he was going through. He grasped my hand a bit tighter, and I smiled as I returned the gesture, and so Sora and I walked to the Doctor's lab hand-in-hand. This place was definitely creepy but for some reason, the mood was just light and fluffy, at least—that's how my heart was feeling right now.
-x-
"There you go," said the doctor who finished making the heart. "This time, it's sure to work."
The doctor wheeled over to the heartless but then he tripped over a little boy who was dressed up as a skeleton. I gasped as I saw the doctor falling towards the floor, and the heart he made was falling off him. I quickly went to grab it but a little boy dressed as a devil caught it, and then the little boy dressed as the skeleton, along with a little girl dressed as a witch ran out of the room laughing. I stood there as I tilted my head—what just happened? I shook my head, however, and decided to chase after those kids and get the heart that these guys worked for. Sora and Jack followed me right after but once we left the building we looked around and couldn't find those three kids, and I scratched my head as to where they even came from. I couldn't help but feel annoyed about it and Sora thought the same thing.
"We lost them," Sora said in frustration as he brought his hands to his hips. Jack looked around and then patted his knee. The ghost dog from before, Zero, floated towards Jack.
"Zero, after them, quick!" he said. We followed Zero and we managed to catch up to those brats. They were crossing some really weird, pointed, looking hill and we followed close behind. Eventually, we made it to a big manor that looked bigger than the world itself and gave off that creepy feel.
"I Knew Oogie Boogie was behind this!" shouted Jack. Pfft… I couldn't help but laugh to myself at the name, this guy obviously seemed like a villain, so why did he have such a Goofy sounding name? I heard Donald mentioning about the fact that we had to go up, and I stopped laughing to myself once I saw the many stairs around the place.
"Wait… that means we're going to climb stairs?" I asked. They all looked at me and nodded, and I brought my hands close to my chest and puffed my cheeks as they turned red in frustration. A sudden terror filled my body.
"Noooooooooo!"
I'm very sorry for the late update, I got a new job, and a lot of new things just popped up in my life that it took me away from completing this series. Just to let you know I will be rewriting all of the stories in this series so it matches up and that I am prepared for when KH3 comes out!
