Don't be mad, but I added more to this chapter. I tried to start the next chapter with what I wanted to write, I even tried to have it later on in the chapter but it didn't make sense.

If you want to be mad maybe this will make it better.

I added kid Peter Parker to this.

Back to the chapter, there will be a little, teeny, tiny, itty bity bit of time travel. Just a little rewind, nothing major.

Any way, back to the story.

Back on the Hellicarrier.

Nick Fury was watching all the destruction happening in New York on the screens in front of him. Paying close attention to the woman that all of worked her way into the Avengers hearts. He would never have thought the little girl that Tony Stark adopted would grow up and turn out to be a goddess and warrior from another planet. He may have seen stranger things happen, but be that as it may, he did not expect to see the little girl he watched grow up almost rip of someone's head with a magical whip.

"Sir," Nick looked up from the screens when Maria climbed up the steps. "The council is on."

Completely unoriginal and lame, to the dark room.. chamber thing. You know what, how about a plain old board room.

"Director Fury. The council has made it's decision."

"I recognize that the council has made it's decision. But given that is a stupid ass decision, I've elected to ignore it." Fury replied to the only female World Council member.

"Director, You're closer then any of our subs. Scramble that jet." One of the men tried to order Fury.

"That is the island of Manhattan, Councilman. Until I'm certain my team can't hold it, I will not order a nuclear strike against a civilian population."

"If we don't hold them here we lose everything."

"I send out that bird, we already have." Fury snapped, ending the conversation with the World Security Council. There was no way that he would authorize a nuke on the city. He had watched two generations of Stark evolve from the trauma that Tony Stark went through when he was young.

Back To Natasha and Doctor Selvig.

Nat walked closer to the Tesseract, trying to figure out what she could do.

Erik, having taken a blow to the head after Tony tried to blow the machine up, was now in the right state of mind spoke as he tried to stand. "The scepter."

"Doctor?" Nat questioned.

Erik looked over the edge of the building, seeing the scepter on the balcony below. "Loki's scepter. The energy. The Tesseract can't fight. She can't against herself."

Natasha tried to comfort the doctor thinking he was blaming himself. "It's not your fault. You didn't know what you were doing."

"Well, actually, I think I did. I built in a safety key to cut the power source." He explained.

"Loki's scepter..." Danella would have planted that information in Natasha's head if she had the time, but Loki had remembered to plant the thought n the doctors head as a failsafe should his plans not work the way he wanted.

"It might be able to close the portal. And I'm looking right at it." Erik replied, finishing her sentence as he looked down at the balcony again.

Ellie and Clint were being run over by chituari. Clint was firing off the last few arrows had as Ellie threw her knives. Clint fired at one of the chituari that was flying one of their crafts and didn't see a foot soldier that managed to sneak up on them both. Ellie only saw the vile creature from the corner of her eye. With a crude blade about be driven through her Shield brothers back, she drew her whip, snapping her wrist, wrapping the whip around the creatures wrist, she pulled her whip tight, energy burning along the length of the whip. Ellie pulled even tighter, causing the ugly being to tumble toward her, Ellie drew her sword, she swung at the Chituari, taking its head right off.

Clint only turned around when he heard the crude blade hit the concrete of the building. A little colour drained from his face when he saw how close the chituari was to killing him. When he looked up and passed Ellie, his eyes widened. There were fifteen odd flying Chituari heading for the two of them. He went to reach for another arrow only to grasp at air. His last fresh arrow was already spent. Thinking of a way out of the situation, he quickly pulled an arrow out of a Chituari soldier that he had killed earlier. He shoved the arrow back into his quiver, he pushed a button on his arrow, changing the tip of the arrow for another. Ellie wasn't fazed by the rounds that they were firing at the two of them. Despite the explosions that were happening right in front of her she kept pulling pulling out small daggers, despite being small, the were dipped in an Asgradian poison that her brother had provided, so they were indeed effective. Throwing them at their enemy, with accuracy that could almost rival her Shield Brother. Clint ran and grabbed her, he dragged her away from the explosions, "Hold on!"

Just as he was leaping off the building, she had caught onto his plan, "No! Wait-"

But it was already to late. The two of them were falling towards the ground, Clint had managed to turn his body around with Ellie holding tightly to him. He drew his last arrow and fired it at the wall of the building that they had just jumped off. The arrow dug into the side of the building, Clint held onto his bow as the arrow attached a wire from the arrow to the bow. Ellie held onto Clint as the two of them crashed through the windows of the building that they were just standing on. The two of them rolled through the glass a few times, Clint had landed on his back, groaning in pain as his quiver and bow dug into his back. Ellie was a few feet behind him, laying on her stomach, a shard glass had cut through her leather leggings and embedded itself in her thigh.

She bit her lip to hold in her screams as she pulled the glass. When she finally got the glass out of her leg she threw the shard away and tried to push herself up. All Ellie had managed to do was sit up. The pain in her leg was preventing her from standing. Clint had rolled to his side, when saw Ellie grimacing in pain and trying to stop the wound from bleeding he had shot of adrenaline go through him and he got up and ran to her. He added more pressure to the wound, "El, What happened?"

Trying to hide her pain, growing up as a Stark had her laughing at his question. "What happened? What happened is that my brother decided it would look cool to send us both through a glass window even though I could have just as easily transported us both down the ground."

Clint gave her a half smile, when she replies like that he knows that she'll be fine. As he put more pressure on her wound he assessed that the glass hadn't gone to deep, it hadn't hit and major arteries, but the wound was bad.(Keep in mind I know Jack shit about things like this. So just go along with it.) "Isa, we got to get you help."

Clint was about to call for help, to have her taken away from battle, but she grabbed a hold of his wrist. "Don't. Just bind it. I'll be fine."

"Isa-" Clint tried to protest. He had thought the already lost her once, he didn't want to feel that pain again.

"Just do it!" She grounded out. "I'll be fine. We need all hands on deck right now. That means me too."

He looked at her, uncertainty written all over his face. They both knew that she was right, as much as he wanted for her to be away from all this destruction and danger they needed all the help they could get. He glared at the skyline, he knew what he had to do, but that didn't mean he had to like it. He reached behind him, pulling out a small roll of gauze and tape from the false bottom of quiver, he knew that it would be nowhere near enough to stop the bleeding, but it should slow it down. "Alright, you listen to me. You hear? You stay on my ass. If you don't stick close to me, then stay close to team. I want you close to someone at all times."

"I got it. I'll stay close to someone. Hurry up, we need to get back out there." Elle agreed as she grimaced at the amount of pain she felt as he bound the wound. She already knew that she would pay for the decision later, but they had a world to save.

As she was helped up, she grabbed a hold of his shoulder and transported them both out onto the street. They looked around at the chaos in the streets, she turned t him, "Look, I know that you want me to stay close to you, but I want you to go find Loki. Your arrow knocked him out of the sky and onto the tower."

"No, you and I are going to help the civilians get to safety." Clint argued, he didn't have any arrows left, but he still could fight off the creatures hand-to-hand if needed.

"Clint, Nat is up there by herself. Nat is good but against my brother she is going to need the help." She felt bad for lying to him, she felt it, she knew what Loki was feeling. She knows that her brother in laying on the floor in Stark Tower after facing off against the Hulk, but it was needed. The Chituari needed to believe that he was incapacitated for their plan to work.

Gritting his teeth, he called to the Captain, "Cap, I have Little Stark coming to you. She's injured and need to track down Loki." She did not hear his reply, she didn't have an earpiece like the rest of the team, but by the looks on his face suggested that the Captain agreed with Clint's plan. "Go. Cap is with Thor."

By the time she got to Thor and Steve they both were in an intense battle with the battalion trying to take them out. The Chituari were using the cars in the street for cover as others advanced onto the duo, now trio.

Steve was not prepared for a shot of energy from their firearms and took a shot to the ribs, knocking him face first into the cement. Thor deflected the the shots coming his way with Mjolnir while trying to help Steve stand up. Thor was able to send the shots of energy back to the soldiers that fired them but he was unable to back up to Steve. The numbers were getting to be to much, instead of being on the defense and went on the offense.

Elle lit a car on fire, Thor followed her train of thought and Swung his hammer, knocking into the brigade that were trying to advance on them. Thor turned around, throwing Mjolnir in the opposite direction, then helping Steve up. While Elle took out a few stragglers, mixing between throwing small daggers and plasma attacks, she was about to join them when she hard rattling from one of the taxis. She went to the vehicle and saw a little boy and she assumed his father stuck in the back of taxi, the driver long gone. Green energy surrounded her hand as she grabbed ahold of the door handle ripping of a severely damaged door clean off the taxi. Throwing the door aside she helped the man out, steadying him as he staggered away from the car. When she was sure that the man wasn't going to fall over or pass out she turned and helped the little boy out of the car.

The little boy looked around in wonder and fear. He had heard of Captain America before but he doesn't know who the other man was, but the woman, he thinks she looked like Isabella Stark. He had a small smile on his face, his aunt May likes the younger Stark. Aunt May says she's a hero, not in the way Iron Man is, but still a hero. The little boy's eyes widen as one of those ugly creatures jumps out from behind a car and throws something at them.

"Look out!" The little boy screams. The man grabbed onto the little boy, leaning over him trying to protect the boy. Thor and Steve looked at the weapon, fear in their eyes, both too far to deflect the weapon that was thrown at them. The two civilians and Steve don't know what was thrown at them but Danella and Thor recognize the little device. A black hole generator. Danella threw her arms up, like she was trying to protect her head. It would look that simple, but as she did that, a green, almost translucent bubble surrounded the group. She ground her teeth as she held tight, the pain in her torso growing worse, blood seeping through the flimsy gauze. She had to hold the bubble in place or they would fall victim of the grenade.

After the grenade lost it's power she dropped the bubble, pulling out a dagger and throwing at the vile creature, waiting till the creature dropped to the ground before turning to the man and child. Watching the area, she saw more Chitauri making their way towards them. She pushed the two people towards a building. "Go! Find cover and wait till it's safe."

The man nodded, "Thank you!"

Danella nodded, grimacing slightly as the little boy threw himself at her. The little boy hugged her tight, making her ribs ache even more. She smiled through the pain, giving the boy a hug. She pulled away from the boy and dropped down on a knee to look at him in the face. She wiped some dirt off his face. "What's your name, hun?"

The boy looked to the man, he knew he wasn't supposed to talk to strangers but she just saved them. When he got the okay from the man, he turned back to the woman that looked like the Iron Man's daughter. "Peter."

Danella smiled at the boy, "Well Peter, you were very brave. Now I need to go find somewhere safe to hide. It's not safe out here. Can you do that for me?"

The boy, Peter, nodded. The man grabbed onto his hand and the two of them ran into a building.

"Are you ready to go another bout?" Thor asked Steve, surveilling the street as Danella stood and watched the man and Peter run to safety. Not noticing the way she was holding onto her torso or the blood flowing freely down her leg.

"What, are you getting sleepy?" Steve replied, pain passed crossed his face, Elle didn't know how she knew, but she had the idea that the pain he was feeling was more than physical.

"Are you well, Captain? are you able to continue battle?" Danella questioned as called back the dagger she threw.

Before Steve could reply Nat had called over their com line, "I can close it. Can anyone copy? I can shut the portal down."

"Do it." Steve commanded.

"No, wait." Tony called back to Cap and Nat, Danella still not able to hear what was coming through those lines.

"Stark, these things are still coming." Steve had answered, trying to reason with the older Stark.

"I've got a nuke coming in. It's gonna blow in less a minute." Tony replied as he chased after the Nuke. "And I know just where to put it."

"Stark, you now that's a one way trip." Steve spoke, Danella didn't know what her father was doing, but the tone of her new comrade had her worried about her adoptive father.

"What is going on?" She demanded, "What is my father doing?" Steve wouldn't look at her. "What is going on Captain? What is he trying to do?"

Steve took a breath, "Tony said that a Nuclear Bomb was fired at the city. He's going to fly it up into the portal."

Elle stiffened, "p-please tell your making a horrible joke right now. Please.."

"I'm sorry, Miss Stark." Steve replied, guilt lacing his voice. His eyes widened when he saw her start to shake, a green aura surrounded her. He looked to Thor, "What's happening? What's happening to her?"

"Her magic." Thor responded as he wrapped himself around her, trying to protect her from herself. "Her Magic is tied to her emotions. Her Magic is acting out because she cannot process all of hr emotions that she is feeling. Captain, I beg of you, find cover."

Steve had just stood there for a moment before nodding and went to take cover behind a flipped car. He couldn't see what was happening but he could hear Thor pleading with the young Stark as the wind whipped around them.

"Danella, please! Fight back! Take control, please, Loki needs us!" As Thor pleaded with her, he saw more Chitauri soldiers stalking towards them. Steve could not do anything other than hide behind the car as Thor had pleaded with the younger Stark. He looked up, the thought of pleading with whoever would listen, that the elder Stark would get the Nuke into the wormhole and escape in time. But they had no guarantee that Tony would make it. He, himself had told Tony that he was in for a one way trip.

As he watched the army descended. He and Thor watched as Tony fly over the three of them with the Nuke. He winced as Tony flew close to Stark Tower, his chest plate bumping up against their tower. They all watched in trepidation as Tony disappeared into the wormhole.

To Tony

Tony had told Jarvis to save the rest of the power for the return trip. The only thing was, he wasn't sure if there was going to be a return trip. At least one were he'd be living, let alone making it back through the wormhole before the bomb blew.

His voice broke as he asked his AI to do, what could be his last request, "Jay, could you do one last thing for me, before we lose power."

There was a moment of silence, it shouldn't be possible but it seemed like there was sadness in Jarvis' reply. "Of course, sir."

"I need you to record a message for me. And make sure that it gets to my daughter."

"Recording now sir."

"Alright... So.. Hey baby girl.. Just- if I don't make it back, you'll have this message. I know I said that if you would wake up, I would give you anything that you could ever want.. Take you anywhere you want.. Even build you your own suit if you would wake up. And by some miracle you did. My little girl, you are everything to me... I tried my damn hardest to raise you right. To make sure that you didn't end up like me. I made sure that I didn't end up being like my father. Ellie, I know I said that I wouldn't let anything else happen to you... I know that I already broke that promise... Ellie, I promised that no one would ever hurt you again... And it seems like that I'll be the one hurting you now.. Look... I meant it when I said that I wouldn't be able to live without my daughter.. And if there was another way, I would do it if I could.. But I need to make sure that you can go on.. You don't need me as much as I needed you. You have Nat, and Barton.. And now Thor to watch over you. And..if.. if I don't make it, remember that, you, my little Ellie, are my world. I'll always watch over you. I lo-"

Tony's message didn't get to finish recording.

The arc reactor had lost all power as he watched the nuke leave his hands and continue it's path the the Chitauri flagship.

He watched as the bomb blow up the entire fleet, destroying all airborne soldiers.

As he fell backwards, he closed his eyes, hoping that one day his daughter would forgive him.

Back to Danella

Steve had his back against the car, watching the wormhole, trying to will Tony back through it. He thought back to his new comrades, he dreaded the look on the younger Stark's face, he couldn't see her but he knew that his next order would hurt her. Silent apologies lacing his voice as he gave the command to Natasha. "Close it."

Danella heard the command. She couldn't accept it. Her dad, her hero had saved the world. What he did, the whole world saw the Iron Man save them all. But she didn't even get to see or talk to him. Not since she left on her last mission.

Her emotions ran wild before becoming too much. A heart breaking scream ripped through the streets before a powerful blast of emotional magic blew through the streets. Disintegrating all of the chitauri and their weapons. Cars were flipped, glass shattered, Thor and Steve were both sent flying as she dropped to the ground in heartbreak.
