The plane flew through two sun rises and two night sky's. Till finally it came to the deep salt water below was now the lands of Africa. Passing over three african continents the plane had finally arrived in Nigar. The flying transport landed on the african runway and drove toward a nearby bunker. After the plane had settle, the cargo door then opened. Jay, who was sleeping against Nala's cage then woke up from the light of the sun. He looked out the cargo door and saw that they were Africa.

"Sarah." he said, turning to lioness, who was also asleep. Nala began to wake up. Len came from the front of the plane.

"Wait here." he said.

Jay nodded in agreement.

The native man walked out of the plane. After some time, three african men came into the plane. Jay got up and moved to the side as the men came to the cage. They gathered on each side and picked up the cage. They carried it outside the plane. Jay followed after them. The three men carried to a white truck that Len had rented. The three men slide the cage into the back. Jay got into the passenger side of the truck. They then drove off to the animal preserver outside of town. Hours of driving they had arrived at the animal preserve. There was nothing but a land of plain grass in sight. Len stopped the truck. He looked to Jay, who looked upset.

"You okay?" Len asked.

Jay sighed.

"Yeah." Jay answered

"Come one, lets let her go." Len said, as he got out of the truck.

Jay opened pulled the passengers door lever and pushed it open. The boy got out and walked to the end of the truck. Nala was looking out the cage door, at the land she thought she would never see. She was delighted to be home. Just then Len and Jay came into sight. Len unlocked the cage door and opened it for her.

Nala leaped out of the cage and landed on the ground. She looked ahead, seeing the way home. It was her chance that she thought would never come. But still, if felt hard. Nala frowned. She looked back at Jay and saw that he was also sad about her leaving. She turned around and went to Jay. The young boy bent down to face her friend.

"I'm going to miss you, girl." he said, on the verge of tears. "Don't forget me."

Nala, smiled at him. Jay was the only human she loved and she was grateful to have him in her life. The lioness nuzzled the boy, thankful for all that he had done for her. Jay then hugged he tight, his eyes shut with tears emerging from them.

"I love you, Sarah." Jay said.

Nala closed her eyes, enjoying the last moment with her friend.

"I love you, too." She said, not caring that he wouldn't understand.

Jay then departed from Nala. The lioness turned and ran ahead. Jay got up and watched Nala leave for home. As the lioness came close to the plain grass, she stopped and looked back and Jay.

"Goodbye Jay." she said in a whispering voice.

She turned back and continued on her way. Disappearing into the plane grass.

Len came up to Jay. He patted his back.

"Your mother would be proud." he said.

Jay smiled at what Len had said. The two then hugged each other tight.

"Thanks, Dad." he said.

The two then departed. Len felt great that Jay had called him Len. It was something he never thought to hear from Jay. The two then look to the way Nala hd gone.

"She'll be alright." Len reassured.

Days past, Nala journeyed toward the Pridelands. She came up a hill and looked in the far distance. The lioness felt joyful, for up ahead was Pride Rock. Her home. Nala went down the hill an headed toward Pride Rock.

he hill and continued on to Pride rock. Meanwhile, far to Pride Rock, Simba stood at the edge of Pride Rock, still thinking about Nala getting taking away. Although he had let it go, it still lingered in his mind. He sighed knowing that it was pointless just to think about. Whats done, is done. Just as Simba turned and headed to the cave.

Nala had arrived at Pride Rock. She looked up and saw Simba moving back into the den.

"Simba!" she cried.

The lion king came to a halt. The voice sounded familiar to him. vary familiar. He looked left and saw a familiar tanned fur lioness.

"Nala?" he said, looking surprised.

Simba turned and rushed down the path. Nala came around the rock that held the ledge of Pride Rock up. Simba had made it down the path to see for himself that it really was Nala.

"Nala!" he said, surprised at her return.

The two came up to each other and nuzzled each other. Both of them happy to see each other again.

"I can't believe it, how did you get back?" Simba asked. Curious on how Nala escaped the humans.

"I had some help, from a friend." Nala explained.

Simba was confused at what she had told him. What did she mean by that? But it didn't matter, he was just happy at Nala's return. Just then, Kopa had come home from playing with his friends. He looked up and saw both of his parents there. He was ecstatic at the sight.

"Mom!" he said, as he rushed to his parents. Nala heard the voice of his son. She looked back and saw him coming up to her.

"Kopa." she said turning to her cub.

Kopa came up and nuzzled his mother. To him, is was a unbelievable thing to have his mother back.

"I missed you so much." Kopa said.

Nala smiled.

"I did, too."

Nala then licked Kopa's mane.

"Mom." the cub complain.

Nala and Simba both laughed at Kopa's complaining. As days went by, far back to america at the zoo of Virginia, Jay and Len sits with Areli, Leanna, Ariella, Leon and Osamma. The cubs of Leanna, now a month old play along with Jay. The boy laughed, petting one of the cubs stomach, as it laid on its back, his paws holding the boys arm. Jay then looked up to the sky. He thought about Nala and wondered if she had made it home. And yet far back to Africa, at the time of night. Nala stands on Pride Rock, looking to the stars above. She thought about Jay and the others. They both missed each other. But being a world apart, they would always remember each other and their friendship would last, till the end of time.
