3rd Person PoV

*few days later*

Nico took a deep breath and entered in the hospital.

He didn't feel very well those days.

It was something with that girl that was out of place and he knew it.

She seemed so familiar, like they have meet before.

Nico shock his head.

Since she woke up 4 days ago he was almost all the time under the impression that somehow he knows her.

He was probably nothing he thought while he knocked at the door.

"Goddamnit yes, come the fuck in!"

Nico opened the door slowly and entered the room.

"Am I supposed to be afraid ?"asked Nico in a slightly amused tone

"No, I'm just happy I see a human being, the medical equipment isn't exactly awesome company."

Nico rised his eyebrows.

"The doctor doesn't come around?"asked he

"Yeah he comes every day and ask me if I remember something and the nurses doesn't talk with me because it would affect my memory recovery"she said annoyed

"Well I guess you remembered something, right?"questioned Nico

"No, not even the smallest thing.

She made a pause then looked at him straight in the eyes.

"But I've made a friend"she pointed at a medical apparatus

"That's Bill, say hi to Bill"she ordered on the most serious tone.

Nico looked a little worried, but decided to roll with it.

"Uh...hi Bill"he said looking at the apparatus awkwardly

"My, my do I need to put you in a section too?"asked the doctor in Italian entering the room

Nico was about to answer but was stopped by the girl's laughter.

He glared at her, but she didn't flinched

"Sorry, I was bored to death, I couldn't resist"she explained stopping herself from laughing.

But Nico wasn't angry.

He was kinda confused, instead.

He was absolutely sure that he heard that laugh before.

He shocked his head.

Isn't like people have certain laughs, right?And how could he remember a laugh anyway?

Unfortunatley he couldn't answer himself because the doctor cleared his throat requiring his attention.

"We have a problem."he announced.

"What problem?"he looked worried

"The managment of the hospital decided that she can go."

"Excuse me, I'd like to know what you're talking about my person"said she waving her arms

Nico turned to her.

"Apparently you're free to go"

Her eyes light up.

"So I can get out of here?No more boring to death?Awesome!"she said getting up

"Hold on!Both of you"said Nico pointing with one hand at the doctor and with the other at her.

"If you don't remember even your name where would you go?"asked Nico looking at her

"Oh, damn you're right"she said her expression changing to dissapointment.

"And doesn't have her memory back, yet you basically throw her out?"

Giovanni rised his hands in surrender.

"That's what I said, but the others say that if she doesn't remember anything, then keeping her here is pointess and we keep the section busy when it may be needed."

Nico sighed.

"I'm sorry, there is nothing I can do"

"Well"Thalia said getting up"I will manage myself somehow."

She turned to the doctor.

"Do I get some clothes or the hospital PJs are in trend around here?"she asked sarcastically

Nico translated to the doctor

"Ah yes."he writed something on his notepad then reap it off and gave it to Thalia

He looked at Nico.

"Down the hall, take the elevator down to the first floor and it's the door at the end of the left hall"

Nico translated to her.

"Thanks!"she said and get out of the room.

"Are you sure that there's nothing you can do about it?"asked Nico turning to the doctor

"Me?No, but I know somebody who could actually"he said

"Who?"

"You, obviously."

Nico facepalmed.

"I'm an idiot."

"Being your friend I'll say yes, yes you are"

Nico glared at him, but not for too got out of room.

Giovanni was right.

At the was the moment he was the only person who she knew and he had to help her.

And he didn't even know why.

Most people would have just dropped her at the hospital and then mind their own business.

But it was something different here.

He simply felt that he must stay by her side and do his best to help her regain her memory.

And he hasn't a problem with helping her, he has a problem with this weird feeling that continued to haunt him since the day he brought her to the hospital.

It was something, he couldn't quite describe.

Something like a deja-vu sensation.

Nico shock his head while he got out of the elevator.

He wasn't the one with amnesia after all.

*Oomph*

"You know I'm pretty sure that this knocked out again to get memory back is just a myth"

Nico took her hand and helped her get up from the floor.

"Sorry for that, I zoomed out"explained he

She waved her hand and said it was nothing.

He cleared his throat.

"I'm not sure how to said that without sounding like a creep"he declared

The girl rised her eyebrows.

"Spit it"she ordered

"You know me, being the only person you know ...well , if you want of course , you can live with me till you get your memory back"

In that moment Nico really felt like an awkward teenager and he didn't liked it.

Most people would probably think about it for a little or become suspicious.

But she answered in a matter of seconds.

"If I'm not causing you any trouble,yes "

She wasn't even sure where that came from.

It was so automatic, like when somebody ask you your name,you don't even think, just answer.

It was weird.

He said that they weren't friends nor relatives so she didn't understand where that trust come from.

She probably zoomed out because Nico waved a hand in front of her face.

"Are you okay?Did you remembered something?"he asked

"No, I was just thinking."

After few seconds of silence she continued.

"So do I have to sign something?"she said changing the topic

"Well let's go talk with Giovanni-"

The doctor come to them, right in that moment.

Perfect synchronization thought Nico

"It's all good?"asked he

"Yeah, now can we leave?"

"Yes, the files are done and she won't need any medication so you can go."

"Thank you, Giovanni"they shaked hands

Thalia turned to Nico and she didn't even needed to ask.

"Grazie"he said shortly.

Then she turned to the doctor

"Grazie"she said with a heavy english accent

Giovanni just smiled, appreciating the little effort and nodded at them.

He would have talked with them a little more but he was called for an emergency.

He just waved and rushed to the elevator.

"So"begun Thalia"where are we exactly?"

"Planet Earth, Galaxy Milky Way"he said while they were going to the hospital's door

She rolled her eyes.

"Haha so funny that I forgot to laugh."she said crossing her arms"Seriously now."

"Verona, Italy"he said with a small smile

"So are you living here?"

"No really, I live in a town one hour from here."he said

"How is it called?"asked Thalia while taking off her jacket.

Altough it was 4 PM it was still very hot outside.

Nico smilled mischivously.

"Gargnano"

Thalia frowned

"I'm not even gonna try this one."

There were few secods of silece.

"So before going home, wanna visit Verona?"asked Nico

"Well I guess if you don't have aything to do, cause I sure don't, then I'm for it."

*3 hours later*

"I swear this gelato thing is a gift from Heaven"said Thalia throwing her now empity cardboard in the trashbean.

"Tell me something I don't know"said Nico while they were getting in the car.

"Well if you insist,I saw somebody stealing grapes when we passed one of those stands"she said.

Nico smirked

"You win this time"he said while he was drving out of the parking lot.

The drive was relatively silent.

It wasn't an awkward one though.

It was one of those comfortable silences that made you feel comfortable just with the other person presence.

They eventually talked a bit.

Nico told her that Gargnano was on the west shore of Lake Garda.

She asked how it looks, but he told her to wait and see.

And she wasn't dissapointed.

When they reached the zone it was pretty dark.

It was simply gorgeous.

On the other side of the lake were mountains, whose hems were sprinkled with lighted towns.

Gargnano itself seemed so peaceful and beautiful.

When they entered in the actual town Thalia was kinda surprised by the life it has.A lot of people were standing on terraces or taking walks down the seafront.

She expected it to be a lot more quite, but she decided she likes it better that way.

Full of life.

"We're here"announced Nico.

They both get out of the car and entered in the garden.

The first thing that hit her was the perfume.

There were a bunch of flowers, surronding the path to the house.

It was a rock cottage with wood decorations.

"Home sweet home"mumbled Nico while he unlocked the front door

They entered in a hall.

On the right side was the living main thing that she noticed there was a huge fireplace and a wall covered only with bookshelves.

"The guest room is this way"he said going up the stairs with Thalia following him.

"This one "said Nico indicating one of the doors.

"There's another one , but this has a better view so I think you'd like it, also have a private bathroom."

"Thanks, I'll go to sleep now."she didn't realised how tired she was

She opened the door, but stopped.

Thalia turned around to look at him

"Thank you, really, for everything."

"No problem."Nico said smiling.

Thalia blinked.

This smile.

It was abnormally familiar.

She was so sure she knows it.

But it was impossible, right?

It was probably just the amnesia playing a trick on her.

She smiled back.

"Night"she said

"Good night"she heard before entering in the bedroom and closing the door behind her.

She put her jacket on an armchair and took her shoes off.

She looked around the room for a little.

It was mostly white and light wood who worked very well with the rock walls.

She sat on the bed and when her head touched the pillows she fell asleep

I seriously think it was one of my lamest chapters.

I was just blocked on it

But I couldn't wait, because I'll start school

And then it would have been forever till the next update.

And I don't want that

So sorry, not the best.

But it will be better next time.
