Third Person
The next morning, Percy was the last to wake up, as usual. He bounded down the stairs two at a time and ran into the kitchen for breakfast.
He plopped down into a seat next to Annabeth and loaded his plate with pancakes and bacon, but then looked at the pile and sighed.
"What's wrong?" Harry asked curiously.
Percy gave a tragic sigh, and indicated towards his pancakes. "They're not blue." He said mournfully.
"Why do they have to be blue?" Hermione asked.
Percy grinned at her. "It's an inside joke with my mom."
Harry rolled his eyes. "I can't make them blue though, no magic outside Hogwarts."
Percy turned to his girlfriend hopefully. "Can you turn them blue?"
Annabeth gave him a blank look. "Do they need to be blue?"
"Yes!"
Annabeth sighed and flicked her wand at Percy's plate of pancakes, successfully turning them blue.
"Wise Girl, you're the best!" Percy eagerly cut into his breakfast.
"So, why is it so important that your breakfast is blue?" Harry asked.
Percy shrugged. "It makes me happy."
Sirius and Remus (as he had asked them to call him) came into the room and occupied two previously vacant seats.
Looking around the room, Percy took in the fact that everyone was at the table.
"We've got news." Sirius said in a serious voice, no pun intended.
"Voldemort-" (Ron flinched) "is on the move. Our reports state he's closer to this area, and he's getting ready for attack." He let this sink in.
"So," Thalia started. "Do we know when and where exactly?"
He raised an eyebrow, as if surprised at how lightly she was taking the news. "We expect the end of the year. And, as always he'll be trying to get Harry, thanks to previous events."
Harry rolled his eyes. "Of course." He didn't look mad though, maybe just happy he was finally given information.
Rachel pointed her hand at Sirius, chewing her food. "How are we preparing for this? When the battle comes, we'll be allowed to fight, correct?"
He nodded stiffly.
Percy's POV (because I forgot it was third person, oops)
"Good, because you wouldn't be able to keep us from helping." Annabeth laughed. "Hey, will you need reinforcements? Because I have an idea."
"When do you not?" I asked, and she opened her mouth to retort, but she must've remembered the whole, 'Athena always has a plan,' thing.
"Shoot," Sirius said. "We need all the help we can get."
"Well, I was thinking we could have other campers come to Hogwarts to help. Heck, we have an entire cabin full of kids that are literally children of magic. They're probably more powerful than Voldemort and Dumbledore combined."
Leo snorted. "Voldy doesn't have a nose, right?" He asked. "Remember Lou Ellen? She was taking someone's nose off with a handkerchief during that meeting we had? What if she did that to a death eater, and put the nose on Voldemort?"
We all burst out laughing, and Sirius just watched us, amused, until he joined us.
"That would definitely be hilarious." He agreed. "But how many of you are there? And how old?"
Annabeth shrugged. "There's about 250 at camp right now, thanks to the outcome of the War in Manhattan. The ages range from about eight, to twenty. There's a wider age range at Camp Jupiter, and they train differently."
The older members of The Order's jaws dropped. "Two hundred? In one camp?" Mr. Weasley asked incredulously. "All of our forces don't even add up to that!"
I grinned. "So it's a yes, then? Ill have to ask Chiron, and the youngest ones probably shouldn't go unless they're like Annabeth." I winked at her.
"Probably? Probably shouldn't go? Of course the younger ones shouldn't come!" Mrs. Weasley said, almost yelled.
"Whoa, Whoa, Whoa." I said, holding my hands up. "You have to remember that a seven year old demigod is much different than a seven year old wizard. There's only a very small minority of demigods who made it across the border without at least one injury or close call with death."
"He's right, Mrs. Weasley." Annabeth agreed, and I grinned. It wasn't every day Annabeth said I was right. "I ran away from home when I was seven, and Thalia, Luke (her voice squeaked a bit) and I had so many close calls its hard to count. We had a horde of monsters chasing us. Heck, Thalia turned into a tree so she wouldn't die!"
"Hey, don't mention that!" Thalia playfully (or maybe not) pouted at the mention of her pine tree.
Mrs. Weasley raised an eyebrow, sighing. I guess she really wasn't surprised anymore, and I could relate.
"Fine." She sighed. "But only if they've had training."
"Of course they've had training, Mrs. Weasley." Piper said, sensibly. "It's how they survive."
"Shouldn't we ask Chiron before we plan all this?" Annabeth suddenly asked. "Ah, who am I kidding? Of course we should." She dug her wand out of her pocket, along with a drachma. She turned in her chair (so everyone could see) and cast a rainbow, then said the said-too-often line, and gave the offering.
Chiron shimmered out of the rainbow, and he looked mildly surprised. "Annabeth! How are you?" He asked.
"I'm fine, Chiron. We're in an Order meeting, kind of. Do you think the other campers could help with the war? The final battle, I mean. We need all the reinforcements we can get."
Chiron's forehead wrinkled. "I supposed, Annabeth." He said. "Although, I'd limit it to everyone who has either been at camp for a year, gone on a quest, or some other special situation, like what yours was.
I will make an announcement at dinner."
"Thank you, Chiron!" Annabeth grinned. "I would hug you, but I kind of can't."
Chiron chuckled. "I'll get back to you." He waved his hand, and the message disappeared.
