Chapter 32

Austin allowed his hands to trace Ally's spine as she sat on his lap, her elbows at his shoulders so she could look at him and he could get an eyeful of naked breasts every time he let his gaze drift away from her face. He let his gaze drift often.

He let one hand leave her before bringing it lightly down on the firm flesh of her behind. She jumped slightly and smiled up at him. "Hey," she complained. "What was that for?"

"Well, if we don't get cleaned up and ready to go soon Trish and Dez will be here banging our door down," Austin stated as he let his hand that had spanked her caress her. "They will be grumpy if we tell them we just want to stay in tonight. Even if that's just what we want to do."

"You are thinking exactly what I was thinking," she smiled seductively up at him from under lowered lashes. "I certainly wouldn't mind staying here all night with you or in the bed upstairs or anywhere, really, as long as we were still naked."

Austin let his hand slide back up her spine, warm heat on cooling flesh, causing Ally to shiver under his touch. He pushed with his hand and lifted his head just enough to meet her lips with his in a sweet kiss.

Their lips met and melted together but they both knew that what Austin had said was true and neither Dez nor Trish would let them spend the evening the way they wanted to.

Ally broke the kiss and pulled back as she sat up away from Austin and tried to slide off his lap, but his wandering hands latched onto her hips and wouldn't let her go.

"Austin, if you want me to go get ready, you have to let me go. You're right about Trish and Dez, they will grumpy if we aren't ready soon."

Austin finally released Ally and she pulled his flannel shirt from the floor and tugged it on, buttoning the minimum of buttons, just enough to hold it on. Austin glanced appreciatively at her and headed upstairs to jump through the shower.

"Als, if you want to join me, you know where I'll be," he winked at her over his shoulder and caught her gazing at his naked ass as he walked brazenly over to the stairs.

Ally shook herself and met his gaze with a blush as she shook her head. "No, you're right, Trish and Dez will be pissed if we aren't ready when they show up. I just want to put my book away and check my messages before I come up. You go ahead and get started."

Austin nodded and made his way up the stairs, while Ally moved the guitar into the dining area and tucked her book away with it. She fished her phone out of her purse and checked it, frowning when she saw that John had left many more messages. What the heck was she going to do about him?

Should she call him back? Should she listen to the messages and see what he wanted? No, she really didn't care to know what he wanted. And besides, Austin would be irritated, probably downright pissed, if she either called him or listened to the messages. Well, maybe not if she listened to the messages, but it didn't matter. She wasn't going to listen.

She finally decided to just leave them for the evening and listen to them tomorrow when either Trish or Austin were with her and she tossed her phone back into her purse. Ally ran through wardrobe options as she thought about what they were doing tonight, dinner and then dancing at a salsa club that Austin liked.

She had just wandered into the bar for a glass of water when she heard a commotion at the door. Ally smiled to herself as she realized that she and Austin were running really late due to their extracurricular activities and their friends were going to be irritated.

She glanced at the clock as she hurried out toward the door but froze when she realized it was an hour earlier than Trish and Dez had said they would be here, it couldn't be them. There was no way either one of them would be early, it just wasn't them. I wonder who it could be? She thought to herself. She sidled closer to the door and realized there was an argument going on outside.

She could hear muffled, angry voices, several of them, maybe three or four. Yes, definitely four of them. Three women and one man. No, there was another voice as well. What were five people doing arguing like that in the middle of the hallway in front of their door?

She tiptoed up to the door and peered out of the peephole. She gasped quietly as she realized that there were several people in the hallway she didn't really want to see.

John and Jasmine were there as well as Jack and Kira, what the hell was Kira doing here? What the hell were any of them doing here? Should she try and call security? Should she go grab Austin? Ally strained onto her tiptoes to try and see who the other person was and she held her breath for a moment trying to hear what they were arguing about.

She gasped quietly again and she realized the last person was an employee of the hotel and he was holding a key card away from Jack.

"I'm not giving you this," the Plaza employee was saying to Jack as he pushed her away. "I am so getting fired for this and what happened the other day. They are looking for the person who told about the people in this room yesterday. I don't like you enough to get fired for you."

"Please, Tony, my favorite cousin," Jack was pleading as she reached for the card. "Just give me the key card and I can get out of this hallway and you can walk away. No one has to know about this."

Jack licked her lips as she glanced over her shoulder at Austin and Ally's door, brushing her matted red hair back away from her face before she turned away again to step closer to her cousin. "Look, you don't need to know what I want it for. All you need to do is give it to me and walk away. I promise I won't tell anyone who gave it to me."

Ally was freaking out. Al those people outside their door and an employee willing to give the card away, maybe. She was panting hard as she thought about what she could do. She really wanted to go call security, but then again, she should stay here and listen. She needed to know if that employee was going to give up that key.

She worried her lip between her teeth as her mind raced. She came up with a plan that let her stay here and listen but also get help. She quickly texted Trish and Dez about the situation in front of her, hoping against hope that they would get the message and send help.

Jack was pleading harder and harder, leaning into the man who had the key. Oh. My. God. Please don't give her the key, Ally thought. Please just make her walk away. Trish, you better be checking your phone. She remembered to turn her volume down so she wouldn't tip off the people outside that she was watching.

Kira brushed her hair back over her shoulders and pulled Jack away from her cousin as Ally watched John and Jasmine whispering with their heads close together.

Luckily, Kira had pulled Jack over toward the door Ally was sanding at. "Jack, Jack," Kira was trying to soothe Jack, but her voice was causing all the hair n Ally's body to stand up as it wasn't soothing at all. She sounded like she was eating glass, that's how hard her voice was.

"Let me talk to him. Maybe he'll listen to me or I'll just give him money. I'll just give him a lot of money. We just need to calm down. We know the two traitors are in there, right? We just need to stay calm and get the key. Then we can get in there and then we can hurt them. I'll take care of Ally and you can have Austin."

"But I want to play with Ally, too. She deserves to pay for taking him away from me," Jack spat out viciously. "And what the fuck are these other people doing here? You said it was just going to be you and me."

Kira glanced at John and Jasmine who had stopped whispering and were standing together, shoulder to shoulder, watching Kira and Jack.

"They are just here to help us. They both have a bone to pick with Ally, too. She has a lot of explaining to do, but don't worry Jack, we will have plenty of fun with her."

Kira glanced toward the door causing Ally to duck away from the peep hole and press a hand to her mouth to keep herself from crying out at the horrible way Kira was looking at the door.

Kira really hated her. She was staring daggers into the door and Ally turned her head to press her ear against it as she didn't want to risk looking out again at the moment and seeing Kira again. There was something in her eyes that was making Ally really scared.

Ally took a deep breath and listened again.

John's voice came angrily from the other side of the door. "I told you I saw something. I think someone's on the other side of this door." Ally jumped as something heavy banged against the door. She pressed her hand harder against her mouth so the cries didn't come pouring out of her like they wanted to.

She was afraid to move, afraid to breathe. He was right there, just outside the door and she didn't know what to do anymore. She wished Austin would come downstairs, she wished Trish or Dez had gotten her text and responded. She wished the police would show up and save them.

Tears started to leak out from under her eyelids as she began to shake. The voices had gotten quieter and she could no longer make out what they were saying. Ally really wanted to see if they were still out there, though she knew that they were, they didn't seem like they were going to give up any time soon, but she was terrified that she would be seen.

She looked the door over quickly, noticing that they had locked the deadbolt and put the security lock on, so even if that stupid employee gave them the key, it would still be hard to get in the room. Thank God they both stayed in hotels enough to remember basic security even when they were tired.

She pressed her ear against the door again and could just make out furious whispering going on. She swallowed hard; they were still there. She checked her phone, but there was no response from either Trish or Dez. What was she going to do now? She was down here, Austin was still upstairs. She wondered if he was still in the shower. She should probably run up there and get him out, just in case they crazies in the hall did something drastic and ended up in the room.

Wait a minute. Austin was still upstairs. Was there another door up there? She didn't remember seeing one, but that didn't mean it wasn't there. Should she make a run for it? Yes, this door was as secure as it could be made to be and she really should contact security. What was she thinking, not doing that right away?

She began to back away from the door slowly and stealthily, the last thing she wanted to do was alert them in the hall that she was right at the door. She jumped slightly as something heavy banged against the door again.

With tears still streaming down her face she realized that she was just wearing Austin's shirt and she needed to be more covered if they ended coming through the door. She rushed into the living area and fished her jeans out form under the chair. No time for anything else, she thought to herself as she almost fell over in her rush to pull her jeans on.

She was just headed for the stairs when another loud noise at the door caught her attention and the door swung open a little. The key card had obviously been handed over to the nasty people in the hallway and they were on their way in. Her time was up.

Ally didn't waste anymore time taking the stairs two at a time and slamming the door of the bedroom behind her causing Austin to jump and spin around to face her a wolfish grin lighting his face until he caught sight of Ally. She was shaking and crying and her face was devoid of all color.

"Ally, what the hell is going on?" he asked as he rushed to her side, gathering her into his arms.

A tremendous bang sounded downstairs and Ally cried out in terror. "Oh my God, Austin. They got in!"
