Just some random story I wrote during my free time. Sorry for the OOC of some character. Slightly mentioned of 1896. Well, hope you enjoy the story.
"Ne, if I were not around anymore, what would you do?" ask Tsuna sitting up naked in a bed.
"What's the matter for you to ask such a silly question," I said.
"Nothing, just curious," said Tsuna.
"Then, what will you do if that happens to me?" I asked.
"I won't cry nor searched for you if that happen to you," said Tsuna.
"Oya, oya... You just hurt my little poor heart, Tsu."
"Sorry," giggled Tsuna.
"But can you promise to do the same if I were not around," said Tsuna as he suddenly hugs me from behind.
"Tsu, did something happen? You don't usually ask such question or demand such promise," I said feeling something strange from Tsuna.
"Nothing happened. Everything's fine. Just promise me, alright?" said Tsuna with a smile on his face.
"… Fine, I promise you. You do know that your smile is my biggest weakness," I said before bringing my lips to his, and kissed him deeply.
"I… love… you," said Tsuna as he pants for air.
"Kufufu, I love you too," I said and place a kiss on his forehead.
If I were to think back now, those words don't feel like what you will say. It was as if you known something will happen to you; something like death.
The sky was dark as if it knew what had happened. I could only stood there, with a black coffin in front of me and inside was you. "Why are you in there? Tell me this is just some stupid joke by that student of mine," I said not refusing the truth and reality.
"Mukuro-sama, please don't be like this. Boss will be very sad if he see you like this," said my beloved Nagi.
"Fran, break this stupid illusion now!" I yelled.
"Mukuro, this is not an illusion. It's reality. He's gone," said Yamamoto trembling with sadness as he tried to calm me.
"Like hell would I believe this! He was just talking to me last night... smiling at me..."
"Oi, pineapple! This is something that stupid omnivore left for you before he left," said the skylark as he passed me a brown box tied with blue and red ribbons.
"It's you. It's your fault he died. Give him back to me," I shout, grabbing Kyouya's collar.
"Stop it, Mukuro-sama. It's not Kyoya's fault. We all are sad that our sky is no longer here," said Nagi as she cried.
"Like I said, this is for you. Let's leave him alone for now," said Kyoya as he laid the box down at the side of the coffin, and bring Nagi back to the mansion.
Everyone went back to the mansion after they paid their last respect. After staring at blankly at the coffin for hours, I slowly bring myself to him. He was so beautiful as he laid asleep surrounded by white lilies and roses. I look to the side and saw the box he left for me. I slowly untied the ribbon and open the box. When I saw the content in the box, I tried to smile as I don't want to break our last promise.
As the rain starts to pour; raindrops dripping down my face, I mumbled, "I'm sorry, Tsu. Looks like I can't keep your last promise after all".
