Author's Note

Just something that came to me : ) I hope you'll like it, and please leave a review. This is inspired by a HC I read which said that Harry's first word was 'Padfoot'.

There was a very pretty young woman, with red hair, and bright green eyes cooking some chicken. A baby, who was probably sleeping, seconds before, started crying softly. He had black hair and his mother's eyes. "James! Get the baby!" screamed Lily. "Why? I'm talking with Padfoot!"

"HE'S YOUR SON TOO, JAMES POTTER!" She shouted and little Harry jumped in surprise. James dashed through the door picking up the baby. "Who's the best baby in the world?" he cooed. The child giggled. "Hey Lily." Said a man. He had black hair, grey eyes and was very handsome. "Hey Padfoot. Not planning to turn my kid in a marauder, are you? Or I'll take you the honour of being a godfather away."
"In that case, his real father will take over, don't worry." James laughed. "Ah, in either case my child is ruined. Poor Harry." Lily commented with a smile. "James, finish to roast the chicken and give me my baby." James went over, clearly not having a clue of what he had to do. "Honestly, James? Just take the chicken out in five minutes. Sirius, take care of the baby. No, not Harry." She added quickly when he reached for him. "My other baby. The bigger one." She pointed to James and the two of them laughed, while James pouted. In the small living room, with three different bookshelves, there was a big, decorated tree. She showed him a photo. "You see this, Harry? Yes, this is your Aunt Petunia." The baby's face screwed up in disgust. "I know, darling. You won't have to see her often, I promise. She doesn't want us there anyway. And next year, next year, you'll be bigger and we can put some other decorations, together, what do you think about it? Do you like the idea?" The baby made a toothless grin. "I talked to Molly the other day, you know? Apparently, she's pregnant again! Isn't that marvellous, dear? She has so many children… I hope we'll give you some brothers and sisters too. What do you think? Do you want them? She also told me that it is amazing how fast children grow! Apparently, Bill will go to Hogwarts next year! You'll go to Hogwarts too, you'll just have to wait a bit more. I love you so much. You're my baby, I don't care how fast you grow. You'll always be my baby." She kissed the baby's forehead. "And when you'll be bigger, the girls will chase you all over the place! Just like your Dad. But your Dad picked the only one who said no. You're lucky that I changed my mind! I'm lucky too." She grinned at her son who giggled, delighted. "I hope Padfoot takes care of Daddy, or he'd be dead in ten minutes. Do you want to save Daddy?"

"Pa…pafoo."

"What did you say?" she asked, her jaw hanging. "Pafoo." He said, smiling. "Padfoot?"

"Pafoott."

"James!" She screamed, running in the kitchen. "He did it, James! He said his first word!" James dropped the chicken. "What did he say?" he had a look of pure amazement on his face. "Pafoot!" said Harry proudly. "Oh Merlin! Is that Padfoot?" Asked Sirius. "OY! REMUS!" He shouted as Remus scrambled in the room. "You owe me four sickles."
"What's his first word?"

"Pafoot." Little Harry repeated. Lily kissed Harry's head, not even complaining about the bets. "He's my son. He's all my son." Whispered James happily.
