Rin got mad like most people on earth do. She got mad when books ended on cliffhangers and the author decides to discontinue the series, she got mad when she forgets she was making banana nut muffins and all her hard work is reduced to hockey pucks. She got mad when she was in the middle of making an omlette and a fly decides to dive-bomb right in the in the middle of her creation, she got even more mad when she doesn't notice a fly dive-bombed into her omlette until she was halfway through eating it. EW. But Rin wasn't mad right now.

She was frustrated. Which is way more annoying to deal with. Especially when you're trying to make sandwiches for dinner

Rin violently minced tomatoes in frustration. How could Mori just throw away her macaroons like that?! If he didn't want the rest he could have just given them back if he didn't want them. The thought did occur to Rin that he could have been throwing away the macaroons to destroy the temptation of sweets around Hunny, but Rin just couldn't bring herself to justify that reason, He still didn't have to throw away her perfectly good macaroons!

"Rin, is everything okay?" Santo poked his head in the kitchen to check on his daughter who was very loudy making sandwiches.

"I'm okay."

"I thought you said you were making sandwiches for dinner?"

"I am."

"I was just wondering why you were using the blender…" Rin froze in the middle of her cooking to realize she was so distracted that she in fact started blending the sandwiches into a lumpy mess.

"…Ugh…" Rin shut off the blender and rubbed her face in frustration "Sorry dad…"

"Rin did something happen today? You seem a bit… distracted." Santo asked in a concerned voice.

"I…it's so stupid but its bugging me! I know why it happened but I'm still upset about it!" Rin explained clumsily.

"Well just tell me what exactly happened and we'll figure this out." Santo took a seat at the island gesturing for his daughter to sit across from him. Rin sat down and explained to him how she gave her leftover macaroons to Mori, how Hunny suddenly developed a cavity, and how Mori threw away the rest of her macaroons.

"Well it seems like he threw away the macaroons because he didn't want Hunny to be tempted by them. It wasn't to insult you he's just worried for his friend." Santo explained to hi daughter who was resting her chin on the counter.

"I know but…it still…I know it sounds stupid but even though I'm tired from school and I have homework and studying to do I still make time to cook things for the host club, and I put a lot of effort into my pastries and to have Mori just toss them out and waste them…" Rin ran a hand through her hair "It really upsets me."

"Well he didn't throw them away right in front of you did he?" Rin shook her head no "I really don't think he intended to insult you, all those boys seem like really good friends I doubt any of them would outright hurt your feelings on purpose."

Except Hikaru and Kaoru Rin thought to herself bitterly but they'd just do it to rile me up. Run gave an audible sigh "I guess your right…" Rin stood up "I guess it doesn't matter anyway because I can make anything sweet until Hunny is over his cavity." Rin looked at her sandwich blender mess and grimaced "Can we order takeout? I really don't feel like cooking tonight."

"You read my mind." Santo whipped out his cell phone "Thai?"

"Yes please." Rin smiled.

"So this was a freebee thing in my cereal and I think it taste like the smell of freshly cut grass and my dad thinks it tastes like sawdust." Rin explained to Haruhi the weird treat she got in her cereal this morning "So I want to know what you think it tastes like." Rin gave her the box.

"I've had this before." Haruhi stated as she inspected the familiar red and white box.

"Really?"

"Yeah, Kyoto Kelp." Haruhi pulled out a piece and chewed on it "I think it tastes okay."

"Well then you can keep it." Rin rested her hands on the back of her head "As much as I like the taste of freshly cut grass I think you'll enjoy it more."

"Hey look." Haruhi stopped Rin and pointed in a particular direction.

"It's Mori." Rin said with surprise she put a hand over her eyes because somehow that gives people the ability to zoom in or something. Rin's eyes widened with surprise when she saw he was with someone "And he's with a girl!"

"Shhh!" Haruhi shushed Rin and pulled her behind a pillar.

"I just can't Hide it any longer…I have to get this off my chest…" the girl started with great effort "I need to know what your feelings are towards me and if you'll accept my love.

Rin peeked over Haruhi's head her slightly superior height giving her an advantage both staring with big doe eyes. This was just like watching a soap opera but in real life!

"Will you please?..." the girl asked timidly the silence obviously making her nervous. "Unless… of course there's someone else…please tell me. Is there someone else who's dear to you?" The girl asked carefully. Mori said nothing in response. The girls shoulders slumped and tears pooled in her eyes "There is isn't there huh?" she looked at her folded hands sadly. Mori still said nothing "I should've known…" she mumbled tearfully to herself as a tear slipped from her lashes onto her folded hands. She spun on her heels running away, tears now flowing freely down her cheeks as she sobbed.

Haruhi and Rin looked dumbfounded "Haruhi…" Rin whispered as she watched the girl run away "What the hell did we just watch?"

As Haruhi and Rin entered the clubroom Haruhi was whisked away by the twins… leaving Rin out in the open to defend herself.

"Ri-Chaaaaaan!" Honey flew through the air grabbing onto Rin's leg like a koala bear "I missed you sooooo much!" he chirped and rubbed his cheek into her leg like a cat showing affection.

"I missed you to Honey." Rin smiled "How's th-"

"So what did you bring today?" Honey interrupted her gazing at her with his big brown eyes. "Macaroons? Cupcakes? Cookies? S'more cakes?!" guess and started drooling thinking of all of Rin's delicious treats.

"Ah…no…" Rin was honestly scared. He was holding onto her leg with a strength she didn't think was possible for a boy his size and the way he talked about her snacks made him look like a lion picking out which antelope he was going to kill.

"Well then what is it?" He suddenly spotted the extra bag she was carrying. "Is it in there?!"

"No that's actually-" before Rin could finish her sentence he suddenly dove at the bag ripping it out of her grasp. With the teeth of a piranha he ripped open the bag shoving its colorful innards into his mouth.

"Rin I thought I said no sweets." Kyoya smoothly scolded Rin "It's quite cruel to tempt Honey-sempai."

"That's not food…" Rin said sheepishly

"BLECK!" Honey suddenly cried out in disgust, a rainbow of color smattering his face.

"It was…paint." Rin rubbed the back of her neck "I thought me and the girls could paint together."

Honey sempai's face suddenly turned green stood up and ran out of the room to find the nearest bathroom so he could wash the paint out of his mouth, thankfully he didn't swallow any of it.

"Well…there goes my paint." Rin sighed as she began cleaning up the broken brushes and shattered paint pallets.

"I hate to be a bother but were you really thinking about painting with the girls?" Kyoya asked.

"Yeah why?" Rin raised a brow.

"This is a host club not an arts and crafts club, it's your job to entertain the girls, not give them something to entertain themselves." Kyoya said pointedly. Rin's face suddenly turned red in embarrassment.

"I…I didn't think of it that way." Rin suddenly felt foolish for thinking about painting at all. "I just… thought it would be fun."

"Yes well I guess it was good fortune that honey sempai destroyed your paint before you could destroy you clientele hm?" Rin gaped like a fish, speechless at Kyoya's insult as he walked away. She scolded herself for not having a comeback knowing, just KNOWING she would think of the perfect one tomorrow.

"I saw what Happened." Haruhi leaned down with Rin to help her pick up the mess. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah I'm okay." Rin said as she picked up some pieces of shredded paper. "a bit frightened but I'm okay." Rin sighed "I'll have to figure out something else to entertain the girls though… they get bored with too much poetry."

"I'm sure you'll think of something." Haruhi assured her."

"Yeah…" Rin sighed. She couldn't help but wonder why Mori didn't come and help her out…
