Sheldon and Amy came up the stairs and Sheldon put his key into the lock, opened the door and stepped off to the side. "Ladies first," he said.

Glowing, Amy walked inside.

"Hey, Sheldon," Bernadette said, approaching him cautiously. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm feeling hungry," Sheldon replied, walking toward the fridge.

"I meant, how's your head?" Bernadette asked bluntly.

Sheldon turned and gave her the look of a wise old owl. "Didn't you hear? My memory returned last week."

Bernadette turned an icy glare to Howard.

"Don't look at me like that, I'm just finding out now too," he replied. He turned his eyes to Sheldon. "Why didn't you tell us?"

"Well, forgive me!" Sheldon said, closing the fridge door. "But I needed some time."

"Time for what, being yourself? Don't you get tired of that sometimes?" Raj quipped.

"Not at all," Sheldon answered. "When I think of being a complete airhead, like...Dr. Gablehauser...I know I'm as good as it gets."

"Well...as conceited as you are, I'm glad to have you back," Penny said, raising her glass.

"Here, here," Leonard said, raising his.

"Thank you," Sheldon said, giving them his koala smile. "I'm more than happy to be back."

Amy looked up at him and put a hand on his shoulder, and he only smiled. The moment could have been perfect, but then Sheldon added, "Oh, and Leonard, the Roommate Agreement has been resurrected; so don't think your last blunder will go unrecognized."

Leonard turned his annoyed glance to Sheldon. Ignoring the gazes of his friends, he forced a big bright smile and said, "Boy, I miss you."
