Prince of Death

"Immortal? Just like Law and Doffy?"

"Yes, you would become immortal." Confused ebony eyes stared at his lover as he didn't quite understand this all.

"I didn't know you could become immortal."

"Well, it's a bit of a difficult process and most don't like the idea because of that certain process." The warrior shifted as he was sitting on the bed before the prince and moved closer to the other.

"Tell me."

"Well, you would have to drink some of my blood and let me recite some things in Greek before I drive my hand into your heart." Grey orbs watched the other carefully for some type of reaction and got a smidge of surprise, but it seemed the other was more in thought.

"To turn me immortal?"

"Yes, you would die, but come back from my blood and the words I say help guide you back from my realm." Law didn't understand why the other was so calm about this, especially since he stated that he would have to kill the other. A hand found a tan one and gave a tight grip with a brightened look.

"I want to be with Law…" The dark prince gulped a lump down his throat as he stared to his lover seriously before cupping his face.

"I love you, Luffy."

"I love you, too, Law."

Luffy was standing before the dark prince, passing a goblet back after drinking the other's blood. It was noticeable that the tan male was nervous, but he was not going to back down. This was something they both wanted and it shall be done that night before something could disturb them.

"Αυτός ο άνθρωπος θα πέσει σε ένα σκοτεινό βασίλειο αφού έχει δώσει την καρδιά του σε μένα και καμία άλλη." The language began as he stared to his lover with a serious look and ebony orbs merely felt his body shiver from hearing the voice. "Αν και, όπως ο ίδιος εμφανίζεται στο βασίλειό μου, θα πρέπει να τεθεί και πάλι στο φως σε αυτό το χώρο για να ζήσουν." A tan hand lined from a cheekbone along smooth skin to trail the neck and passed the collarbone. "Ζήστε μια ζωή της αιωνιότητας." That same gentle hand quickly was shoved into the other's chest and caused a cry of pain. Teeth gritted from Law at the sound and merely kept calm, reassuring eyes. "Τώρα πέφτουν πολεμιστής(1)." A glassy haze went over ebony eyes and the dark prince caught the other from hitting the ground. The inked hand removed itself and he sat on the ground, holding his lover with a hand petting through dark locks. "Don't take too long… Luffy."

Law sat on that hard ground with fingers twirling the other's hair and would give a kiss to a pale forehead. No one even dared to approach the room, but the dark prince could sense Joker on the other side of the wall. The whole time he had been there to make sure Death went through with the ritual, even though he knew it was hard for him. The blonde could not do the ritual because it would sever the bond the two had now and he knew that wasn't an option.

Time passed by slowly and the hand never stopped its movement along with lips that never stopped speaking. It really depended on Luffy to hear his voice and follow back to where he needed to be. Right where his body rests is what the soul needed to return to and to the lover holding him. Something suddenly felt off to Death, though, as he glanced around lightly to find what was amiss.

"Death!" Hearing the door slam open startled him and grey orbs glared back to see who. "I apologize for the interruption, but Famine is here and wishes to speak with you. I don't know how long Joker can stall before he searches for you himself!" Now it made sense, the thing amiss was Joker from the other side and he sighed out roughly.

This angered look crossed him at the thought of leaving his lover and not being there when he awakens. "Kidd," the dark prince claimed out as he gently laid down his lover with a blanket being placed over him. "Stay guard by the door!" Out came the snap as he left the room whilst shutting it and received a nod from the redhead.

"Of course!"

"Damn this man…" The prince muttered out as he moved along down the hall with rough strides and soon entered the main hall. Seeing the blonde tease the other man was quite a show, but they both took notice to his appearance. "What is with this intrusion? And from you no less."

"Καλησπέρα(2), Death. I assume the young warrior is faring well." A look of knowing appeared in Famine's eyes as he sensed the presence of the other faded and gone.

"What do you want?"

"A deal it seems," the blonde man explained with a tight lipped smile as he obviously disturbed by it.

"A deal that will be very positive in the end." The man began to speak as he smirked mischievously and soon moved to stand at a comfortable stance. "I will stop my men from waging war with this land."

"And what is it you want in return?"

"Simply one little thing," Famine spoke out with eyes gleaming with his naturally cold eyes. "Your warrior."

"Get out of my home." Hostility flared immediately from Law as he showed sharp teeth that only appeared in these kinds of moments.

"And here I was trying to be reasonable." This sharp cry tore through the air and Death instantly knew the tone on whom it was from.

"Kidd!" The name left the youngest prince as he turned to the hall and he felt the aura's clash behind him.

"Now, now, you mess with Lawsy and the little boia then you are starting a war with me as well." Joker spoke out as shoes slid along stone and soon Law was out of ear shot of the conversation, but it was obvious they would be challenging one another.

Death made it down the hall to see a figure entering the room and Kidd's body lying on the ground. With trying not to think about the man, he made it into the room to send a deathblow to the intruder and sent the man into the wall. A startled shift came from him as he noticed his mate gone from the floor and examined the man he just threw. Something was off and he left the room to his redheaded companion. The sight made him grimace before swallowing bile as blood painted the hall wall and he moved hair away from eyes.

"I moved him." Relief was on Law at hearing the words, but he couldn't fully feel it seeing his longtime companion bleeding from the other side of his face. "Don't waste time; Luffy was stirring when I moved him." A pale hand waved away the other's away from his head and received a nod.

"You're not allowed to die yet."

"Shut up, no one said I was dying today." This snort left the prince as he shifted and began running down the hall that lingered with his mate's presence becoming stronger and not because of the distance. Another figure was turning down a hall before him and he got angered by this, but he slid to a stop when the man was smashed back against the wall with a cry of pain. Law could feel the spikes of unstable power and the sound of a howl startled him before he moved to see a sight he wasn't expecting.

Ashes swarmed around the figure that stood with a wound on the chest splitting skin and mark of red was turning darker red as he stood with his mouth open in a howl. The pure power he gave off made Death curse out as he knew he had heard of this person, but he was supposed to be locked away. 'Don't tell me they locked him away into the human realm, those fools…' Law thought as he noticed gleaming light in each hand and he knew he had to stop the other before he destroyed himself from all the strength collecting together.

"Luffy!" The shout sounded dull, but he got the other to stop his call and looked to him with gleaming onyx eyes. "Control it before it controls you!" Arms blocked the ripple of force coming his way, but it did not harm him as he turned to notice the sound of someone hitting the wall again.

"Μην τον αγγίζεις(3)!" The voice hollered out causing another wave of power to hit the enemy and you could see skin starting to flake off into ash. Death saw the man's life span being sapped away and before anything could be said, the man against the wall bursts into ash. Grey eyes snapped onto his mate as the ash swirled around him and soon he moved to the other. The force was strong and he reached out to clasp onto the face to stir ash that collected.

"Stop, Luffy, you are no killer." The voice was soft sounding in the roaring sound of the swarming power around them. Onyx eyes showed how the other was there with an inner struggle and he kept his hold of the other even when he felt his skin burn.

"They hurt Kidd! They are everywhere!" The voice was hoarse sounding as the power pumped harshly from his emotion of worry for everyone and it worried Law when red filled behind those onyx pupils.

"No one is going to die unless I say so!" The dark prince raised his voice when the waves strengthened and he gripped the face tightly. "Do not let Kratos out, Luffy! The form can kill everyone here!"

Sensing so many deaths, luckily just the enemy, had him concerned since it wasn't their time, but yet their life span was sapped away and they burst into ash. The air became thick of the ash from those people and he could even sense Famine struggling with keeping his life even though he was immortal.

"You'll end up killing me too!" The shout had everything stiffen and the air became somehow light and the ash merely floated lightly.

"I don't…" Luffy whispered as he let bloody tears line his cheeks before Death was blown away from a strong force.

The dark prince coughed roughly after he shifted against the ground to see the ash swirl around his mate and he felt his chest clench. The feeling to throw up was there as he could sense how the life span of his mate, who was supposed to be immortal, slips more away by the second. If he could, he would have moved to stop the other, but the force was strong and when he reached towards the other, his skin flaked away to show boney finger tips. A noise left Law at the sight of his own power trying to come out when he tried to get near and knew it must because it saw Kratos as a threat.

Suddenly everything stopped and the ash disappeared to show his mate falling to his knees with onyx orbs rolling to the back of his head. Feeling the sudden pressure lift away, the dark prince moved to the other whilst catching him before he could fully hit the ground. Luffy felt light in his hold and his hands felt the skin that had a grey tint to it from the ash that would not go away no matter how much he rubbed. The wound on his chest was beginning to close right back, but the sight of a scar replacing it made him cringe.

"I assume you will be taking your leave since most of your men are dead." Joker stood behind Famine who held his arm that had been wounded. Shock was on his face as grey eyes turned to look at him with an aura swirling with black. Part of Law was enraged to think that this all would have not happened if he was able to just stay with his mate, but this man wanted to play around with his affairs.

"You want me to let him go?" The blonde asked out in slight surprise before shifting to his friend.

"If I were to kill him then I would be creating a greater evil for the next Famine and I had no interest of doubling my risks. Not only that, he should be grateful that I stopped Luffy or you would be part of the ashes lying around us." Dark eyes stared at the mates as he couldn't believe that the younger warrior withheld a powerful man that was supposed to be wiped away from history.

"I make no promises about the war."

"I do not care about the war right now…." Law noticed his fingers recovered from their boney state and he held his lover close.

"I take my leave." Famine disappeared from sight as he used some type of magic that made him invisible and the dark aura dissipated. Joker shifted to notice how the young warrior was different from before, but was glad to notice that he was breathing.

"I will take care of everything, you both should go rest." No protest left the dark haired prince as he lifted Luffy and began for his room.

Translation:

(1) "This man will fall into a dark realm after giving his heart to me and no other. Though, as he appears in my kingdom, you must put back the light in this room to live. Live a life of eternity. Now fall warrior."
